Task: Complaints about sand getting onto the paths and into shops have been flooding in. Go make yourself useful and clean that stuff up, sweep it away do whatever.
Another menial task had been handed down to Sanada today, and they had the nerve to give it to him when the sun was hitting the beach just right so that it wouldn't give you sun burn, but you would get a nice tan. Alas though they gave him sweeping duty which wasn't a kunai in the back so he'd take it happily. These missions payed well for what they were and he got to keep his life in exchange which was a fair trade to him he thought with broom in tow, Yes he had a broom, because today he was tasked with sweeping sand from different areas of the village because people were complaining that they were getting too much of it.
Why they couldn't sweep it themselves he would never know nor would he ask. People sure are lazy these days who doesn't have time to sweep their own paths and shops clean he would wonder out loud. This was such a bummer he thought as he started sweeping a general area where sand was, he didn't know where he was supposed to sweep it or how, after all this was an island village sand was everywhere! Still he did as he was told and began sweeping it more into a corner to be piled up. At least it wasn't on their side walks anymore and hey the little kids would love to play in all that sand, their parents would like it sand was hard to get out of anything it touched honestly.
Sanada sighed heavily as he made his way to and from different shop entrances sweeping them free of debris. What made his day worse and he thought he would absolutely die from was that sand had gotten in his shoes and now he had this grainy feeling at the bottom of them. That was the worst and a fate ten times worse than death, but he persevered and kept sweeping because he was on a battlefield, a battlefield of sand where he was the captain in charge of destroying the enemy that didn't care where it lay and disturb others. Sanada wouldn't stand for it at all as he swept back and forth brushing it to the way sides. When he was done the streets still had sand on them and he still had sand in his shoes, but it wasn't as much sand. He figured by this time tomorrow it would all be back where it was and some other poor soul would be out here doing exactly as he had,
For now though it was a job done and he had some cash to go collect.
