Wandering.
Pondering.
...Yondering.
Wan was wandering the isles of reality one footstep at a time; if he felt the need to take a step back, he'd reverse two. Slow and steady wins the race, just as Chakra and man begin their marathon. Flowers are Nature's way of giving promise of a new year, seasons being used to keep track of the comforting rituals taught amongst all. Young and bursting with energy the Senju thanked the families of the adults willing to keep him fed while on the run. It was a secret passageway known as the 'Underground Railroad' that hosted 'Conductors' throughout a small side of the borders. Honest to Spirits the use of the hospitality was near extinct as the wars over the decades had divided compassion between humanity as an act of karma. During nights in which he'd sleep alone, hidden away from any main roads or cities in general, he'd dream of life as what he wanted. His mornings were always started with a cup of tea and two rice cakes. He wasn't the best of cooks, no, and being in the wild didn't provide suitable cooking methods. Starting fires was easy, well, given that he could provide wood as tinder at any time. His rice cakes were always a little soggy and squishy, but on good days they'd hold their form. Regardless of their mushy texture, they were always well seasoned. Most Shinobi do not season their Rice Cakes, but Wan has a highly-elevated taste pallet.
As he ate his cake, he thought about life and humanity. Wan was just a boy, alone in a world full of adults. He knew one day he'd have to meet people who he would have to meet who would help him daily. To the villages, he was branded a missing ninja. To the Spirits of the World, he was branded a Missing Child. He needed people in which he could live in safety. He knew there had to be people in which he could work with. Although the spirits often put us alongside those who do not carry our same walks of life, maybe multiple at once, he'd have to continue to live his life. He could choose to adjust his life to match theirs, but that's not what 'adjust' meant to him. Saying 'No' to anyone offering assistance would be something as well, but he had to think well on how often help is available, to begin with. The option to keep moving away was not good. That will create a walk-of-life that is always repeated. Continuing to be on the run from his past is only causing a repetition of the same event.
He remembered all of his friend's and families' names, birthdays, house numbers, P.O Box numbers, favorite restaurants and all. Wan would always go and celebrate with his people their special occasions because he lived in a time in which a cozy family was present in every village. He missed his mother and father since he stopped realizing that he was running away from the past. He could send a message by letter but it's better to talk to someone face to face. That's how energy is exchanged between people. Love within the atmosphere will be exchanged and that's how harmony is created between man. Wan believed that the exchanging of energy and chakra could heal illnesses of the mind and body. He believed the only way to have the power to adjust the atmosphere of anything is to be around everybody. He must be able to exchange energy with everyone, so he knew he couldn't do it alone. He needed an organization, a group of people who were also brilliant, just as himself. When the 'immunity system' was high it could not get infected by other people or negative energies. The power to make decisions is very important. He would never make a decision based on what someone else said. That meant to him we would have to live a walk of life taking people's words of advice over his own for the rest of his life. The advice was only given based on their walk of life, not Wan's. They would need to check and see if what they've been through can compare to what Wan has. If the advice fails someone the first thing the other person would do is place blame. That is a very dangerous karmic energy.
It was wise to take the advice, then sit and check to make sure it matches lifestyles. Whatever would be the consequence, at least they would be prepared to take it. Wan would be careful in taking and giving advice. He was still a blossoming tree, a representation of a hobby he loved. Wan would plant trees everywhere he'd go. He had his karmic account to answer to. He needed to focus on healing his spirits. He needed to look at others just as he looked at himself, as souls on a very long journey to the spirit world.

After eating a few rice cakes, his stomach feeling full for the first time in weeks, Wan gets up and stretches his joints. He takes his left leg and starts moving it, his right leg following along as he begins to jog in place. There is a campfire beside him that's burning, the smoking rising into the air as the sun shines a ray of light down among the trees. He runs in place for about 20 minutes, his mornings repeating this routine every time. Eventually, he'd stop, placing his hands on his waist as he breathed in deeply, then gently exhaled. Catching his breath he'd repeat this until he felt his stamina regain, soon taking a seat beside the campfire. He'd patiently poke it with a stick until the flames died. Once the fire was no more, he'd plant three trees to make up for the loss of the tinder he used to cook his meal, giving back to nature what she provided in abundance. He smiled as he crossed his legs, laying his hands gently in his laps as he straightened his back. He wanted to feel as relaxed as possible, so that at some point all of his thoughts and feelings would seem to vanish, dis-attaching himself between his soul and his body. His right hand was overlapping his left, both palms facing up, with his thumbs slightly elevated. Although his posture was straight he did so in a way to avoid any tension. A Senju learns early in life that stress clouds the mind, so his entire posture was a near perfected Stoja. Wan had his head tilted forward just enough to raise his chin, keeping his eyes closed as he began to release his mind from this world.
Being only 15 Wan believed that he couldn't create thoughts of what his life was. He could only create thoughts of what his life should be. This was one of his moral boosters. He remembers times in which his stomach would be growing, and he constantly told himself he was not hungry. Eventually, he began to find food, and even in times of scarcity, he started to no longer feel the sensation of an empty stomach. The world was a perfect, beautiful place. A thought could always become a reality. He had to be careful with what he thought since he believed this to be true. If he slept with the right thoughts in mind, then by the time he woke up it would be a reality. He always tried to sort out all his problems before he went to sleep. If he slept with the wrong thoughts, then he would wake up with the wrong problems.
After his meditation, he'd continue his day, taking one-minute breaks during the day at random times. This helped with his thoughts and spiritual vibrations. He could not change the world. He could not change people. Being judgemental towards the word and other people would only become a part of his personality. If he kept saying he didn't like humanity for how he was treated, but then continued to live around them. That would only make Wan view it as a horrible race. If he wanted to find something to pursue something, he needed to find someone to pursue it with. A view of horrible towards them would then become apart of him, slowing eroding his happiness. Power divided the world, those seeking it killing their kin to rule. The Tailed Beast was meant to teach shinobi the ways of Chakra, Wan believed, as they were once free to roam the world without hiding. Now they fear to co-exist with mankind. They said a man didn't know what he wanted until he was much older. Wan wanted to balance between the tailed beasts and humans, a demolished link of the past that must be ironed together once more.
Some years before when he first went on the run, Wan decided it would be best for him to dive more into his Senju roots. He learned how many of the greatest Senju were Sages secretly, and something he liked about it was the summoning aspect of it. When he was 14 a group of 'Nomads' from the Land of Iron showed him around its borders, learning their culture and of their nature-life. He signed a contract with the panthers of those lands, being so young that the elders of the summons referred to him as 'Little Wan'. They served as protection many times during his stay alone in the wild, acting as guardians of Wan as if he were their child. The world seemed to 'love' Wan, but love was only the downfall of the world. Love is what causes weakness when it isn't needed. It's a distraction in all forms. Love has never been able to end a war, and it didn't look like it would be ending one anytime soon. Wan needed to make some friends, or at least surround himself people of his nature. He heard of Sunagakure being somewhat of a haven for those branded missing ninja. Hoping that he could find truth there, he started his journey to Suna. Hopefully he can find answers to his calling there.
