Rainy Days & Stormy Nights(Open) Empty Rainy Days & Stormy Nights(Open)

Fri Mar 13, 2020 9:56 am
All you could hear in the village was the sound of the rain pattering off the metal structures and the ground. It had a relaxing sound to it, one of the main reason why Thor was always outside wandering about during storms. He always felt as though he had some type of natural attraction to rain and thunder, maybe it was his connection to the trees and earth. Even though Thor wasent sure why he felt so comfortable in the rain but what he did know is that the rain always make the day seem more relaxed. It had been raining all day and was close to becoming night and Thor had been wandering around looking for something to do for the past hour now. He hadnt found anything worth his time, let alone worth him putting effort into.

He had hope to wander pass someone who would make him feel like he isnt wasting his time inside of the village. Thor could easily be gone on a mission somewhere to slaughter his village enemies but he didnt feel the need to do any dirty work for the village at the moment. His normal blood lust had been subsided due to the rain that was coming down. Thor walked his way over to where the training grounds were , hoping to come across someone that would help him waste time. Unfortunately when he had gotten there he didnt see anyone , and that slightly disappointing Thor. He wanted at least a genin there, he even would be open to teaching someone if they peaked his interest .

There wasent to many genin running around the village these days, so Thor wasent expecting for anyone to show up since it was raining as well. He knows all to well that sometimes training in the rain can end up a lot more messy than one would hope. He had found a bench that was on the ege of the training ground and he took a seat there. Luckily for Thor the bench had a roof over top of it so the seat wasent wet like everything else. Thor decided that he would wait here to see if anyone would find their way to the training grounds.

Rainy Days & Stormy Nights(Open) Empty Re: Rainy Days & Stormy Nights(Open)

Ikari didn't want to work on his ninjutsu in the rain. Why? Who knows? Just didn't feel like it. But that didn't stop him from using his chakra to his fullest extent within physical means. He was in the quarry, as was his favorite place to train when he wasn't working on his ninjutsu. He was focusing his chakra into his hands and his legs. His hands would benefit from the chakra by giving him a stronger grip, allowing him to hold on to the stone much easier. His legs would benefit with a huge boost of power for his lift.

Ikari was running out of rocks on the ground for him to lift, so he was needing to get a little more resourceful with his newfound power granted to him from his chakra. He used his surface climbing technique to climb the side of the mountain in the quarry so he could find himself a stone that would be easy to knock down.

He scoured the mountainside for about an hour until he found it, the perfect stone. There was only one issue, while it wouldn't be hard to crack the connection between the mountain and the stone, it would be hard to have the stone fall from almost 40 meters in the air and not destroy the quarry or shatter into millions of pieces. Ikari thought for a moment, then he had an idea.

He walked down the mountainside to just below the stone he wanted. Directly under the rock he began focusing his chakra to focus on his arms and legs, continuing to fold the chakra in, controlling his breathing before he finally let out the air from his chest and sent one powerful punch into the connection between the stone and the mountain.

One sheer crack would appear just barely, followed along by the sickly crack that would usually accompany such a break in stone and rock. The stone would begin to shake slightly, then more violently as its connection to the mountain had been severed. Ikari focused his chakra into his hands as he gripped into the stone the best he could so he would be able to control the fall of the giant rock.

The rock began to descend rather smoothly as it disconnected fully from the mountain. Ikari held on as hard as he could, keeping a good grip on the stone and not allowing it to plummet to the ground. He was only forty meters from the ground so how hard could it be to guide it down.

Ikari was holding onto the stone, feeling the weight begin to shift which he had expected. The weight was not too much that he couldn't handle it, so he felt confident that his plan was going to work. Step by step he would back down the mountain holding on to the massive stone. Which was about 15 meters tall and 24 meters wide. But after his third step, he heard another crack from the mountain, the stone was still partially connected.

The weight began to shift completely, turned out the mountain was holding on to more than he thought and he and the stone both began to fall to the ground. Ikari quickly gained his focus on his own survival of the fall and he was able to grip onto the side of the mountain again, but he was not so sure about what was going to happen if the stone was to hit the ground. The quarry was part of the mountain after all, and if that goes, it may take a chunk of the village out with it.

That was when he saw someone in the training grounds close by. Screaming for some help, he waved at the individual in the training grounds, hoping that he would see the giant rock plummeting to the ground and be able to do something about it.

Rainy Days & Stormy Nights(Open) Empty Re: Rainy Days & Stormy Nights(Open)

Fri Mar 13, 2020 5:53 pm
"What ah Shitty day to be outside", Thor thought to himself as he stood on top of his building. He had his head facing the clouds , while a slightly heavy storm started to come down from the clouds above. He could feel every drop of rain touch his body , it had some kind of effect on him. An effect that he normally dosent feel, since he always prefered to be covered in someone else blood or toying with someone life. This feeling wasent new to him though, once upon a time he had felt like this but the words to describe it is on the tip of his toung, but he just cant find the right words for it. As Thor is standing there losing himself in thought he sense a presence come behind him and it wasent long before a voice followed. " Its not letting up", The man said as he stepped from out the hallway leading up the the roof. The man was one of Thors neighbors , one of the only ones that Thor actually has slight respect for. The man and his wife were always kind and genrous people , even though stuff like that didnt appeal to him they reminded Thor of his parents in a way. Except for these people were living a dangerous life style.

"You know storms like this are one of the reason's i love this village so much, it dosent get as much rain as Kirigakue would. It has a perfect balance", The man said. He was slightly annoying Thor by his ranting. The only reason Thor didnt tell the man to leave was due to the respect he had for him, anyone else would of been met with a different attitude. "Yeah this place is alright i suppose", Thor said in response. He wasent in much of a talking mood today and the memories that the man brings back to Thor mind always put him in an more reserved mood. The old man looks over the village and steps up on the edge of the building. For a moment Thor thought the man had finaly lost his mind and was about to jump, but he didnt. The man just keep looking over the village with a smile on his face.

"Ya know Thor , your one of the more cold hearted people ive met in my life and belove me i met plenty, but the thing is ive always been able to get an idea of what their thinking but with you even i dont have a clue on whats going on in your head right now". The man said taking a breath right after wards. He looked over at Thor hoping he would get a reaction but he didnt. Thor didnt crae about what the man was talking about and found it slight bothersome. Thor thought that the man would finally shut up but he was wrong, once again the man would speak to Thor. "All im saying my friend that if you need to talk my door is always open, cause from where im standing it looks like your crying", The man said before jumping down from edge of the building back onto the roof next to Thor. The words the man had spoken hit Thor like a bag of bricks. Thor didnt know it but tears were slowly falling down from his face. It wasent untill the man had spoken about it that Thor realized he was.

A slightly laughter escaped from Thor mouth as he heard the door leading to the hallway open. "Next time old man , dont come lecture me like im a child. If i need to talk I know where to find you", Thor said before returning his attention back to the thoughts he was getting lost in. The man smiled as he walkd through the door, not bothering to give a response to Thor. The man knew he didnt have to give a response for both of them to understand each other. Thor had enjoyed the words the man spoke to him, it had been some time since someone has taken time out of their day to stop and talk to him. Even though the words were appreciated , Thor had enough of the mushy heart to heart stuff. He was now more pumped up to spill blood than before. He wasnt sure where his sudden blood lust came from but he sure did enjoy the feeling of it.

It was time to go put some of his feelings into good use. The only problem is where would he put it to use at. He didnt want to go to the training grounds and fight someone, he knew that might end terrible if he couldnt control himself. The last thing he needed right now would to be kick from the village or placed in jail. He knew he had to do something though or he was going to lose his mind. Thor jumped down from the top of his roof, hoping the fall would give him some excitment. As he landed on the ground he would put chakra in his feet to soften his landing. "Shit , I need more than that", Thor thought to himself. He didnt recive any kind of rush from the fall. He walked through the village, soaking wet hoping to find an easy prey.

Drool began to fall from Thor mouth just as his memory was just getting good. He was rudely interrupted by the sound of some idiot about to destroy the part of the village with a huge bolder. For a slight moment he debated if he was actually going to help out the poor fellow , who for sure would be in jail if not kill for the damage he was about to cause. Luckily for the idiot , Thor thought it would be best if part of his village wasent destroyed. Thor was only 20 meters from the cliff and knew immediately what he must do. He quickly formed the Tiger -> Snake handsigns for Wood Release: Nativity of a World of Trees. Thor help the Snake handsign as he had 12 branches come from out of the mountain each 5 meter in width and 10 meters in lenth. The way Thor had the branches come out of the mountain resembled a box. He had 3 rows of branches under neath each other, he wasent sure if he needed as many but he didnt want to any damage done to the village. Thor watched as the Giant bolder broke through the first set of branches but was stopped by the 2 row. After looking at it for a moment Thor laughed as it now resembled a ball in a wooden box. He found that he was slightly amused by the antics of the person responsible.

After looking around he remember that he had heard someone screaming right before he seen the boulder. Thor then body flicker over to where the bolder was , landing on top branch that was on the right side he then yelled over to the person he thought responsible. Thor hoped the yellow hair man had a good reason for almost destroying their village " What the hell do you think your doing ", Thor yelled over to the kid. He was spewing with excitement, hoping he had found someone worth his time.

Rainy Days & Stormy Nights(Open) Empty Re: Rainy Days & Stormy Nights(Open)

Ikari knew that he was going to have to do something about the rock, he knew that he was going to at least try to do something of value that would at least reduce the amount of damage that the ground of the quarry was about to withstand. Thousands of thoughts ran through his mind, but he knew that he didn’t have the time to entertain any thoughts in the predicament that he was in for he needed to act quick. He launched himself off of the mountainside and he began plummeting down towards the stone that was near impact with the quarry below.

He knew that he wasn’t going to be able to actually stop the stone from impacting the ground, but maybe he would be able to increase the surface area that the stone would hit, preventing the full impact from hitting one area, protecting the village damaging level of impact that was soon to come if he did nothing at all to stop the stone as it fell through the sky. He was in an alpha position, facing the stone with his left hand coiled back, ready to strike.

He had been putting so much work into his chakra concentration, pushing himself to master the art of chakra control. He owed a lot of his success with this skill to the young Chuunin, Max. The child who was younger than Ikari and he was farther in his journey than Ikari was. While at the time he felt down on himself, he felt like he was inferior just because Max was younger than he was. But he had since changed his mindset on how he felt about himself. He instead of feeling bad about himself, he had decided to have that fuel his desire to get better and stronger and it was partly because of that Chuunin.

He was channeling his chakra into his left arm, still having it coiled back ready to strike. He was pumped and ready to go, he was getting close to the ground and he needed to make sure that his strike was going to be effective. The distance between him and the stone was closing and a split second thought hadn’t crossed his mind yet. He was still falling from forty meters in the air, even if he was able to slam the stone and crack it, shattering it as it would sprinkle the ground instead of destroying the quarry beneath it. He would still be falling and plummeting to the ground himself.

Ikari continued to fall and he knew that if he was going to die today, he was going to at least stop the destruction that he had caused by striking the stone and causing it to fall in the very first place. Closer he would be getting from the stone when he would see the figure from the training grounds was actually closing the gap himself. He wasn’t able to see what the figure was doing, but Ikari would certainly hope that he was doing something that would help stop the fall of this stone, or at least slow it down.

He continued to plummet to the ground when he was finally within striking range. Ikari knew that it was time and he was more ready than ever before to destroy the stone, or at least do something to actually reduce the amount of the damage done. He got close enough to strike the stone and he thrusted his left fist forward and connected with the center of the stone, hearing the sickening crack that was common with the splitting of stone and Earth. The wind resistance that would be bombarding the newly formed smaller rocks, the rocks would begin spreading out. This is when he saw the wooden boxes that were being formed beneath him.

He readied himself for impact, until he realized what his primary elemental chakra transformation was. “Water!” He thrusted both of his hands forward and he channeled his hands forward, unleashing a flow of water directly into the box. The box was 10 meters deep, so even though the smaller stones from the once larger stone would land within the wooden box, he would still be able to land within the water and sustain minor injuries.

That was the plan anyway, before even the smaller stones proved to be too much for the box that was below him, Ikari decided to keep pushing out the water chakra in hopes that he would be able to break his fall. To his delight, there was another wooden box below the first. Both the stones and Ikari would fall into the second box, being filled with water at this point. He plunged into the water along with the stones. The water felt cool and refreshing to his always hot skin.

He leaped out of the water and he stood on the edge of the box, marveling at the realization that he was standing on top of a box made out of wood style, the very thing that he was pushing himself to learn. “Wood style? A Senju? A fellow Senju? Hell yeah!” Ikari would say to himself as he leaped off of the edge of the wooden box down towards the Senju from the training grounds. The moment his feet would land on the ground, he would turn around to face the Senju and he would greet him. “Thank you for helping me out with those wooden boxes. I am so excited that I have been able to find another Senju! I have been doing my best to learn Wood style so I can use it myself, especially in the Chuunin exams that are coming up very soon. My name is Ikari Senju.”

He realized that he was doing a lot of talking to someone that he had just met, and to someone that just saved his ass. “The wood boxes you created was a great idea by the way. Do you think you would be willing to teach me the element of wood, as well as the technique that you used to create the wooden boxes out of the side of the mountain?” Ikari would wait patiently for this newcomer’s answer, he was praying silently in his mind that the answer would be yes.

Rainy Days & Stormy Nights(Open) Empty Re: Rainy Days & Stormy Nights(Open)

THor watched as the young genin jumped out of the pool of water he created. Thor was slightly impressed by the his ability to think on his feet and add water to the box. "This young one might be some fun , with the right guidance", Thor thought to himself. He had been looking for someone like this to be around but wasent having no luck in finding anyone. He was surprised when the genin had asked him to teach him some of his wood style technique. Normally Thor would never teach someone anything let alone some of the technique that he uses but today he felt different. After seeing what Ikari could do and how he was a fast thinker Thor couldnt help but what to see this boy gets stronger , so that one day Thor would be the one to kill him. "Sure , ill teach you some techniques.", Thor said. He purposely didnt give his name, he would want to see if Ikari was worth telling it to. "Now watch me while i make a wood clone, This clone is going to be your instructor. Ask him question if you need help, he will also break down any jutsu you want to learn. Ill be over watching out of the rain", Thor said as he made the handsigns and created a wood clone. He then returned to his seat to finish his short flash back. After a moment he would decided to switch places with the clone , thinking it would be best to do it with his real self. He looked over at the young senju and began to break down the Wood clone technique. He explained how they work and the ups and downs with them. He also showed him the handsigns and gave tips and tricks on how to in cooperate this jutsu with other wood techs.

He had shown the young Senju earlier one of the techs he was about to teach him when Thor stopped the boulder. He told Ikari about the plus sides of this jutsu, since he couldnt really think of any downsides. The jutsu was the nativity of world tree jutsu. It didnt take long for Thor to create a could trees to show how the jutsu worked. He was excited to be showing off so many different jutsu and doing them successfully. It had been a while since he had someone just stand there and watch him, but he didnt mind at all. He was more interested in seeing what the young senju would become.

Rainy Days & Stormy Nights(Open) Empty Re: Rainy Days & Stormy Nights(Open)

The jounin accepted Ikari's request to be taught some of the techniques that were specific for their clan, the wood style! He grinned and he walked with the Jounin to a more open part of the training grounds. The Jounin would create a wood clone out of his own chakra and the two, being Ikari and the wood clone would walk a little farther into the opening of the training ground when he began forming hand seals as the original Jounin walked away to presumably go think about something other than actually training someone like a lowly Genin, which Ikari understood and wasn't going to complain, a clone training him was still much better than not being trained at all.

When the clone finished explaining to Ikari about how to perform the Rain Tiger at Will technique. He would dispel the clouds that had formed overhead and he would have Ikari attempt to do the same technique. Ikari thanked the clone and he got into a fighting stance and readied himself to perform the hand seals required for the Rain Tiger at Will technique. The wood clone took a few steps away to allow Ikari to have some rooms before he began performing the hand seals for the Rain Tiger at Will technique. As Ikari reigned in his chakra and focused on keeping his chakra controlled, he methodically performed the hand seals for the Rain Tiger at Will technique. Slowly performing each seal while speaking the name of each seal as he performed each and every hand seal. "Bird, Rat, Ox, Monkey, Rat, Snake!" After performing the final handseal, he would initiate the Rain Tiger at Will technique, observing as the clouds did not react in the same way that they had when the Wood clone had performed the technique.

The wood clone then walked back up to Ikari as he began explaining the possible issues that Ikari may have had when he was performing the technique. Ikari made sure to listen to every word that the clone would say and try to take as many mental notes as he could. After the clone finished the explanation of what the clone would advise Ikari to think about when attempting the technique, Ikari would nod his head and continue along with his mental note taking as he was trying to remember every single thing that the clone would say about the technique. Ikari watched as the clone took a few steps away from Ikari's position and he motioned for Ikari to give the technique another try, hoping that this time he would yield a better result than his first attempt.

Ikari crouched down, he focused on his chakra control, feeling the water chakra, his primary affinity course through his body. He could feel his chakra filling his body, coursing through each of his limbs until finally Ikari was mentall prepared to perform the hand seals one last time. He would perform them a little faster and he would speak them a little louder this time around. "Bird, Rat, Ox, Monkey, Rat, Snake!" Upon the final hand seal, he would feel a large expelling of his chakra as it would unleash into the sky above. Suddenly, a massive group of clouds formed overhead and rain began to pelt the clone and Ikari. Suddenly he felt a connection with each and every rain drop as they fell from the sky. He was able to sense every thing within the rainfall.

He was able to see the smaller figures like the small animals that stood on the outskirts of the training grounds, all the way to the mighty stones that stood within the quarry. "Awesome!" Ikari would cheer as he was excited about what he just performed. The rain technique was going to be a huge help to him in battle, now the only thing that remained was for him was to continue to work on this technique, and to mix this technique in with his abilities that he had already learned.

Ikari watched as the clone began walking back towards Ikari and he began explaining different ways that that technique, being the Rain Tiger at Will technique, could be mixed with other techniques to form different combinations. Ikari would continue to listen and hang on to every single word that the clone said to him. He wanted to learn more, he wanted to learn everything that he could before the Chuunin Exams, and he knew that this was going to be the best way for him to get that edge that he was going to need for the exams. He was definitely the newest contender that went in and registered for the exams, so he was going to need to push himself harder than any of them if he was going to impress the higher ups enough to actually earn that promotion. He knew that the Genin turned Jounin Zento was going to be one of the higher ups that was going to need to be impressed for Ikari to actually earn the promotion, and he was the one that he wanted nothing more than to show that he was strong enough to be called a Chuunin of the village.

Maybe and only then would he be in the same boat as Max, the Chuunin of the village that was two years younger than Ikari himself. He wanted to so bad to match that young Chuunin, and this was going to be his chance. No matter what he was going to do his best, he was going to work harder than anyone else in that arena, he was going to soak up all of the information that he could before he got into the chuunin exams. He wanted nothing more than to beat everyone else on the roster for the exams, but he knew that that was going to be one hell of a challenge, but it was nothing that Ikari would not be able to handle with his work ethic and his fire to succeed.

The clone decided that Ikari had mastered the Rain Tiger at Will technique, he moved on to a technique that was befitting that of a Senju. The clone began to explain the next technique, which was simply called "Cutting" This technique was a simple one, one that required the user to focus their chakra, mixing the water and the earth element together creating the wood release. This chakra would then begin to form, presenting itself as actual branches coming out of the user's body. The wood clone asked Ikari to take a few steps back as it began to explain just what it meant.

The clone would perform the hand seals required for the technique, then he would release his hands and Ikari watched in amazement as his hands began to turn into actual branches with razor sharp edges. Ikari was more than just excited when he was just about to learn his very first technique that would use the wood release. He had been waiting for this day for such a long time, and now it was finally here. He was ready to rock when the clone ended his explanation of the technique, so when the clone returned his limbs back to normal and he took a few steps back for Ikari to have the space, also being worried that branches were going to go flying during Ikari's first few attempts.

He was ready to rock when the clone ended his explanation of the technique, so when the clone returned his limbs back to normal and he took a few steps back for Ikari to have the space, also being worried that branches were going to go flying during Ikari's first few attempts.

Ikari walked over to where the clone was once standing. He focused in on his chakra, feeling the Earth mix with the water, creating the wood chakra within his body. The next phase of the attack was going to be the hardest part. He was going to have his own chakra manifest into an actual physical branch that would protrude out of his body. He visualized the the branch coming out of his sides, and out of his back, leaving his hands so he would be able to perform another technique if needed during a battle. He could feel his chakra begin to push against his skin, while he was unsure as to what was going to happen once he allowed his chakra to exit his body, he figured that it was going to have to happen sometime. If he was going to use this technique in battle, then he was going to need to push himself passed his concern and just let the technique take its course and get himself on the road towards mastering the technique.

Once Ikari was finished with the charging and the focusing of his chakra, he performed the hand seal required to perform the technique. "Ram" Ikari would speak with a simple and calm tone. He would guide the branches as they escaped his body, slowly coming out at first, but gradually speeding up with their exit. Ikari looked at the two branches coming out of his sides and over his head as it exited his back. He was amazed that such a feat would be able to be done with his own body. He sprinted towards a training dummy that had been set up a little ways behind Ikari and the clone. As he sprinted, he could feel the branches move and shake as he would take each step, getting closer and closer to the dummy. As he got within range of the dummy, five meters, he used all three of his branches to slice the head and both arms off of the dummy with the razor sharp branches.

Ikari leaped for joy in his ability to finally use a technique that was a proponent of his own clan's kekkei genkai. Now the only thing he needed to do was to continue to use that technique again and again until he had it mastered in his mind and body, turn it into second nature and he would be in good shape for the Chuunin Exams when it came to using that technique. Now he still knew that there was a long road ahead of him before he would be ready for the Chuunin Exams completely, but only time would tell on whether or not he was going to be ready by the time the first fights began. He only had a few days left before he was going to have to be there, he just hoped by the time he showed up, he was going to be a worthy opponent of all of the other combatants. He was especially thinking about the Jounin turned Genin, Kaito. While to his knowledge he was not a part of any clan, he was still a taijutsu specialist and this technique especially would be able to help him go up against those who preferred to fight hand to hand.

He was unsure what he was to do next, he knew that he wanted to take on another technique that was a Senju special, but he wasn't sure which one he was going to go with. He did remember the giant tree that he made when he was in the training grounds with Ichigo just the day before. The tree started out small, but then it turned into a gigantic tree after pouring in a little more chakra to it. He then looked up at the side of the mountain where he had originally pulled the boulder off of the side of the mountain. The two giant wooden boxes that the Jounin had created after slamming his palms into the ground. "Maybe that is an actual technique?" Ikari would say to himself as he thought about the tree he had created in the training grounds. That was going to be the next technique that he was going to learn. He then thought for a few more minutes, about a book that he had read a few months back when he first began getting interested in seriously training his ninjutsu.

"Wood release: Nativity of a World of Trees!" Ikari thought to himself once more. "That is the exact technique the he had made those boxes out of. That is going to be the next technique that I am going to learn. That is going to be the technique that will help me create a forest no matter what the inside of the arena looked like." Ikari continued to think to himself within his head. He had been told the arena had nothing in the means of the obstacles and what not, this was going to make for a perfect technique to grant him cover as well as the ability to create counter attacks against those who wnated to get up close and personal.

He also remembered there was still another combatant that was going to be worthy of remembering, at least possibly. The violet haired woman that he had met in the training grounds a few days back. She had her eyes covered with a certain type of cloth. Something about her eyes were going to be a problem for him in the exams, he was going to have to do a lot more studying on that combatant if he was going to be able to take her on in the exams. He was going against a woman that he had not yet met before, but he had been told about her.

She wasn't much of a fighter, she was still fairly new at combat, but Ikari was never one to underestimate an opponent. He would always rather overestimate them and be wrong but plenty prepared, rather than underestimating anyone and be under prepared. He was pushing himself hard these last few weeks, pushing himself to try and get into the same league that the other competitors were in, but he still didn't know how his inexperience was going to affect him in the exams. But he didn't want to concern himself too much with what he could not control. He was not going to be able to control how good they were, he was only going to be able to control how strong he was and how effective all of his techniques were going to be in the middle of the fights that he was going to be thrown into.

The thought of the battle was going to push him to go harder in his training, but it was also beginning to rack his nerves, even if only a little bit. While he was always trying to put on his best face of how confident he was, he was not entirely sure if he was going to be as good as the others when he considered combat. He was not entirely sure if his lack of experience when comparing himself to the others was going to push himself behind the others. But he couldn't afford to think about that any longer, the only thing that was going to go through his mind was beating all of the other combatants. He wanted to not only win, he wanted to impress the Kage and Zento together. He knew that multiple people could actually win the promotion to Chuunin, and while he did want that promotion more than most things, he cared so much more so about impressing the Kage and Zento that that was going to be enough to push himself through the top of his limits and he was going to do whatever he could to beat his own limits and actually take it to those who came across him in the Warmonger's Arena.

Ikari turned his focus back on to the training at hand, he was going to learn this one more technique if it was the last thing he did. He wanted to create a massive forest with this next technique. He was going to just do the same thing that he had done when he was training with Ichigo in the training grounds, just multiply that by one hundred. He focused a large amount of his chakra within his body, he was focusing on mixing the water and the earth chakra. He created a large concentration of his chakra. He knew that his first attempt at this technique was going to be an exhausting attempt, but he was going to do whatever he could to get this attempt be a successful one.

He focused on the entire area in which his forest was going to comprise. He was going to go fifty meters in every direction, he figured if he was going to go for this technique, he was going to go as big as he could. He channeled his chakra as he began the two hand seals that were required for the technique, only with one hand. He had been trying to train his body to be able to focus his chakra into only one hand, he wanted to make sure that he would be able to perform his techniques this way so he would be able to have a hand free, even if he was performing ninjutsu, he would still have a weapon in hand. Just in case.

He finally unleashed the entire forest at once, filling the entire 50 meters radius with trees being five meters thick and skyrocketing into the sky going to 50 meters in height. Ikari could not have been more happy when he saw all of the trees that surrounded him. He looked over to the Jounin and he wanted to see if he was going to have any reactions. Then just for fun, he created two wood clones out of the trees that now surrounded him. After high fiving the two clones of himself.

Thor watched on as his clone taught  the young senju some of the techniques that he knew. It had been a while since Thor had found someone interesting enough that he would go out of his way to help them. It made him question weather or not this village was going to be able to up hold the stander that they normally have. The thing that Thor like most about his village was the same thing that seemed to be on a shortage around the village. It had lacked the young and thriving potential of strong shinobi , a commodity that Thor knew he would have to seek else where unless something was to change in the village. He did hope that he wouldnt have to go far from his home, it would be very bad to be in a fight on a strong opponents home territory. He was quite amazed at how fast the young genin was learning all of his techniques with ease, not to many people he knew could learn jutsu like that in succession. It wasen until the young genin formed a forest around them that made him drooled at how good the fight was going to be once the genin got a little bit stronger.

He applauded the genin hard waork and talent for learning justu. "Good job , haven seen to many people do what you just did ", Thor said as he walked closer to the genin. He couldnt help but feel proud of himself for investing in such rich potential, since it wasent much of that in other genin around the village. A part of him wanted to spar the genin immediately but he knew that wouldnt be in his best interest right now and he also wanted to eat. He had spent a lot of time outside and his hunger was growing more and more by the minute. Thor knew once this was over the first thing he would do is go find something to eat.

Ikari had listened to every word the Jounin’s clone had uttered, heeded every lesson and understood all the teachings. He wanted to begin putting it all into practice. The techniques that he had learned in one session was far more than he could have ever imagined and he was more than thankful for the help. He and his two wood clones high fives as he dispelled them back into the Earth. He walked up to the Jounin and he helped him for all of his help. “Thank you, I couldn’t have learned all of this in such little time without your help. Now I think I am ready for the Chuunin Exams! Wish me luck, I’m going to need it.” Ikari would wave his hand to the Jounin as he walked away from the training grounds. “Oh yeah and thanks again for stopping that rock from slamming into the ground!”  Ikari yelled over his shoulder as he continued to walk out of the training grounds.

As he exited the grounds, he thought to himself about the chuunin exams. He knew they were coming up very soon, but he wasn’t sure if he was ready. He had gotten in so much training since he first got serious about his training in Ninjutsu, but there were still people who were going to be in the exams that were farther along in their adventure than he was, and that was something that concerned him. He was just going to have to figure it out as he went and hoped that he would be able to create a battle plan that would suit each of his opponents appropriately, but only time would tell. He walked over to the arena in which the exams were going to be held. He stood there for a few moments, memorizing every single board that made up every wall that surrounded the battlefield. Chills ran down his spine as he brushed his hand along the rough exterior and he thought to himself the different techniques that he had under his belt and how he was going to use them in each of his fights.

As he marveled at the arena, there was a sliver of doubt left inside of him. He still wasn't sure of his abilities, but he left the arena ultimately feeling confident. The Chuunin Exams were tomorrow and that was going to be the day that he would finally get to test himself and see just how good he had ultimately become. Should he prevail? Then he would feel like he had finally done something of value. Should he fail? Then he would come back and work three times as hard, if that was even possible, and come back to try again and again.

As Ikari walked away from the arena, he continued to think to himself about everything that he had learned and how he would be able to mentally improve himself. He wanted to be a Chuunin, but that was far more than just how to win in one fight in the middle of the village, that was the ability to go out of the village and serve a cause for the village itself. Ikari was sure he wanted nothing more than be able to be called on by the Kage himself and perform any task that is needed of him.

He arrived home, he needed a good night's rest for the Exams that were to come the next day. He fell asleep in his run down apartment, ready for the fights to come.

There was this feeling inside of Thor that was beggining to make him sick to him stomach, he couldnt belive he was actually helping someone so much. He was never the type to help other as much as he did with that genin today, but for some reason he couldnt help himself. It could be that Thor had seen a younger version of himself in that kid, or maybe Thor was starting to change into a different kind of person. Either way he wasent enjoying the feeling he was getting now, the only good part is that the rain was still falling, only slightly being able to hold in his vomit. Thor made his way home. On his way home he wandered what the results of the genin exams would go, normally he wouldnt care but after all the hard work he had put into the kid today he would like to see him win. Thor hated loser's and didnt want someone he wasted a good amount of his day on to lose with the techs Thor tought him. He would have to remind himself to go and take a look at the exams when they start, maybe being their might give the genin an extra motivation boost if he needed one.
