Training Days (Open)

Today was unlike any other for the young genin of the leaf. He had spent most of his morning taking care of his home with his sister. A lot had to be done before he had left out to do some training for the day. Starting with his room he began expertly throwing his clothes into a hamper, darks going into one and his lights and whites going into another. The balance was everything when it came to taking care of his clothes, its how he stayed so stylish. Once his clothes had been taken care of he began to sweep and dust, assuring that the room was completely free of any of the grey motes.

With a sigh of relief he stepped back to see his room sparkle with happiness as it had finally been done. The sounds of sweeping slowly filled the hallways as he heard his sister pushing something down. In the corner of his eyes however he saw something peculiar- a small flicker of black and blue that stood out among everything else. Recently he had begun to see things and hear things that weren't natural...as if he had been haunted or something. With no proof of it however he merely shrugged it off and kept it moving. With the cleaning finally done he set out to the training grounds where he would begin the day anew.

With the start of a new day Goto was walking around his house, wandering, pondering, wondering what to do. Lately the young Senju had noticed an influx in Konohagakure's activity and how more and more people were keeping themselves busy, whether it be with missions or simply training to improve their skills. Perhaps the silver haired boy should take it as a sign and start thinking about doing the same. The last couple of days Goto had finished a couple of missions where he earned a bit of cash and was able to meet some new people. "Alright, that decides it" he thought out loud, motivating himself to go out and get some training done. Grabbing his black hoodie before putting it on and closing the door behind him the young Senju set out to the Training Grounds.

Since the place where he lived was pretty close to the training grounds, he didn't need to walk all that long and would arrive at his destination pretty soon. Upon his arrival the Senju noticed not a lot of people were around at that time of day, but there was one familiar face standing out to him. "It seems we meet again, how've you been Ishi?" From what it looked like, his friend had the same idea and decided to spend some time training as well.

The young male he just began his stretching when he heard a familiar voice ringing from the training grounds. His head turned as he smiled and waved to Gojo and spoke,” I’ve been pretty well! How have you been lately Gojo? Surely staying out of trouble I hope,” a small chuckle escaped his lips as he finally finished stretching and stood up straight. As he listened to Gojo speak , he saw the familiar top of another’s head rolling toward the grounds themselves. Confused as to why she was here he went to see what his sister wanted and sighed at himself for being so careless,” Hey Gojo let’s catch up later okay? Forgot about something important,” and with that he would take off with his sister to the hospital.

Goto was glad to hear Ishi was doing fine. "Same here, trying to keep myself busy". Things in the village of Konohagakure no Sato had been fairly active lately, a lot of new faces seemed to have graduated and became Genin. Personally the young Senju felt like they were lacking leadership, higher ranked shinobi able to guide the young and inexperienced ones. Considering he didn't want to sound like a hypocrite, the silver haired figured he might as well be one of the next generation who would try and take matters into his own hands. And what better way than to practice his skills while he wasn't away on a mission.

Unfortunately it seemed that Ishi had something unexpected he needed to attend to as his friend said his goodbyes. "Of course, I'll catch you next time". The Senju, now on his own again, would begin to stretch his muscles as he prepared for his training, all the while thinking about the current state of Konoha and its future. Hoping someday he would be able to play an important role in shaping the village back into how it once used to be and returning Konoha to its former glory again.

Training had gone well for the silver haired Senju, all the more reason for Goto to decide it was time to call it a day and return home. It seemed not a lot of people were gathered at the Training Grounds that time, not that he particularly minded, it only meant there would be no one able to interrupt him. The young Genin couldn't quite put his finger on it, but he felt like he was slowly getting stronger.
