Adv Guard Duty( Ikari )

It was a cloudy sky over the village of Kumogakure, it had just been raining most of the day and had finnaly seemed to stop. It was around 5 pm and Thor was getting ready to meet the important man he was suppose to be guarding today. Thor had taken a break from completing mission and he knew he had to get back into the flow. He would hate for one of the younger kids to come and make him look like a fool, he also didnt want the rust to settle from not being on a mission in a while. He wasent in any rush to meet with this man , for he had no real care if the man died or lived. Thor only goal was to make more money for himself, he normally wouldnt get excited for mission unless it involved hunting someone down or more exciting things than guarding. 

After wasting around 20 minutes getting dress and getting a snack to eat out of his fridge , Thor left his home. The place where he was suppose to be meeting the man wasent to far from his home , but he had to first meet up with the person he would be completing this mission with. It was of no shock to him that when he took the task he was asked to take a genin with him, something he thought might be interesting if the genin could hold his own. At the same time he felt slightly annoyed , having to watch over someone wasent exactly the thing he would call fun. He had no problem letting the young genin die if he couldnt hold his own weight. Thor knew the only way he would help the genin in a bad situation was if the boy or girl showed immense potential. 

After a 10 minute walk, he was halfway to where the guy he was going to be guarding was. When he got half way he took a seat at on the benches that was around and waited for the genin to arrive. He didnt wait around long enough to see which genin in the village would be going with him and honestly he didnt care. Thor was more focus on getting this mission over with so he could move on to something more fun for him to complete. As he sat there waiting, he could feel tiny droplets start to fall from the sky. "Shit , i forgot to bring my umbrella", Thor thought to himself. He hoped the genin would arrived soon so they could get this over with.

"Training grounds once again." Ikari said to himself as he walked into the training grounds for the third time that day. Each one of his workouts always making sure to target a different area each part of his body. He wanted to get as much training as he could, for the Chuunin exams were coming and he wanted to be ready. He knew that there was a switch in the competitors when Zento swapped ranks with Kaito, Kaito decided to join the Chuunin Exams so he would be able to make his climb through the ranks through the traditional way. He was sure that that was going to be the strongest competitor in the exams, so he wanted to make sure that he was completely prepared for the fights that were to come. He had been on a few missions, but he truly didn't have the time to try and complete that many lately. Unfortunately for his training, money was still a necessity so he figured he would take on a mission from the higher ups. 

He walked up to the notice board and he was told that there was a mission that was just about to be underway and to his surprise and benefit, there would be a Jounin joining in on that mission. Ikari shrugged his shoulders and he accepted the contract, there was little better than him being able to get paid and also have the chance to work with a Jounin of the village. He knew that was something that would benefit him greatly, especially if there was anything that he would be able to teach him. 

Ikari grabbed the mission notice and he headed over to hte meeting location. It was supposed to be an Inn that he was supposed to report to so he would be able to meet the man that was needing protection, and possibly the Jounin depending on if he got there before he did. When Ikari turned the corner, he saw the Inn in the distance, as well as two men standing directly in front of it. One of the men had a headband for Kumogakure no Sato, which Ikari assumed that was the Jounin that he would be joining in on this mission with. He rose his head over his head and waved at both the men standing before the Inn. When he got close enough to have a conversation with the two, he would introduce himself with a slightly aggressive tone. "Hey. Name is Ikari. You the man needing a guard?" Ikari would face the man that was not wearing the headband.

The man nodded his head as to agree to what Ikari had asked, which Ikari then nodded his head and acknowledged the presence of the Jounin. "I am assuming you are the comrade that I am joining for this mission. My name is Ikari as I said. Who might you be?" Ikari would ask with a slight indifference.

As Thor sat there he couldnt help but wander , if he was suppose to meet the genin at the spot where was he suppose ti meet the person needing to be guarded. Just he realized he made a mistake , he had heard a voice come from behind him. It was a man in his late 40's early 50's and by the way he dressed Thor could tell this man was some kind of important. It had shocked Thor that he was actually right about the meeting spot, eve though the mission didnt give exact details. The man had asked Thor was he the one that was going to be his body guard today. Thor was slightly surprised the man would just be asking random people that , but then he realized he was dressed as a shinobi. It must of been pretty obvious that Thor was there to guard him. Thor smiled and told the man yes and that they would be waiting on a comrade to join before they would take off. As Thor finished explaining the plan to the man , he heard someone approach them. Thor watched as he approached the man and asked the man was he the charge needed to be protected and then introduced himself to Thor. 

Thor smiled as he introduced himself to the young genin "Thor Senju the name", He said as he looked the young genin in his eyes. He wanted to get this over with. He needed to go and find something more exciting than sitting around and just waiting to be attacked, he much rather be the one on the offensive. He looked between the two men now standing in front of him. "How about you take him inside and ill stand guard, how does that sound". Thor said. He hopped that he could get more action if he was to stand out there alone. He hoped he was right.
