Task: You find yourself in a small town in the middle of nowhere, not large enough to be even a blip on the radar of any of the major villages or anyone of note. Or rather, you find yourself within the husk of what remained of that small town, the people obviously having been slaughtered or kidnapped by a gang of bandits. They have taken most of the towns valuable, but obviously in their haste to get away to enjoy their 'spoils' they missed some stuff. In the end you decide to finish what the bandits started and loot the little valuables left behind, waste not want not after-all.

The sun would beat down upon the earth from overhead and the humm of cicadas would fill the air , Two ninja would walk this beaten road one going by the name bright and the other known as solomon. The two had been looking for work but it seemed they had hit an area that was hitting hard time , the ground was scorched and the smell of iron blew heavy on the wind. They knew where they were headed and waited for them , either they would find the remains of a great and glorious battle or they would find the remains of a most brutal and gory massacre.

Bright walked with a bamboo branch umbrella he had ‘appropriated’ a few towns back , the umbrella provided shade for his pale fair skin in this blistering heat , when they would reach the village ahead it would be clear that whoever or whatever did this was long dead. Corpses  of men and children lay about the ground some people had been decapitated and had their heads stabbed upon spears one could guess as a warning to those that would proceed through the area.

Bright would look over the carnage then back to ghost , “normally this is an opportunity to see if the bandits that did this missed anything, we should either begin checking the older mens mouth’s for golden teeth or checking these dilapidated buildings for any ryo that isn’t burned to a crisp” he would suggest closing his umbrella to look for a building that wasn’t so decimated , which was a tall order as a majority of these constructs didn’t even resemble building’s anymore let alone homes.

Once he found a home he would begin shuffling through the debris gently picking up bodies and lining them  up outside the  house  as he went.

Ghost looked on to see this place was a ghost of a town. Looking back at Bright he would see it was too little to late. For the duo to do anything but only for a fee. This land was something else all on its own. " It looks like a war was fought here. Maybe there is some left over riches in thus dump of a place. Let's take what we can and leave." Looking in at him Ghost would take his leave to go look around the area. Picking up bodies to loot them. Not much here that would sell for a nice price. Thus was all to crazy. For the duo of its own. Looking from house to house he would come across a small group of residents riches. But that was about it as thus place was a dump to began with. Looking on the sun was too damn hot and the hot air it blew st them made it no better.


He would watch as the birds in the air would go around and round as they too was on the hunt for food. But still what can one do in such a place. He felt bad for the people here. Looking over at Bright he would say to his brother. "At least we can do is buried the dead. As it will lead to bad luck of we do not. I envy the weak you KNOW. As I wish I could just died you know.
