“BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA” The sound idea a booming laugh echoed across the field that the Kunoichi was currently overlooking. The source of the laughter was a large.......pleasantly plump man striding out, the village at his back. As he walked closer it was clear he was heavily engaged in a manga that he occasionally flipped through prior to another booming guffaw.
As for his appearance, Ukam stood at just over 6 feet and weighed in just over 300 pounds. A large gut, and massive arms seemed to threaten engulfing the almost comically small manga in comparison. His attire was nearly as strange. His legs bare, a shorter than necessary kilt wrapped around his waste, a jounin flak jacket was left open covering his shoulders......the zippers clearly destined to never actually meet eachother. He wore no undershirt underneath instead opting to allow his tanned skin to drink in the sun. Jet black hair, cropped in a tight top knot and green eyes dancing over the pages. He even wore wooden sandals that click and clacked as he took each heavy step.
Wiping tears from his eyes at whatever he had found so comical, Ukam slid the manga into the waste band of the kilt as he made it to a respectable speaking distance from Hinata. A large hand raised, and then palm slapped his chest sending out a reverberating sound, scaring the rest of the wildlife that his guffaws had managed to miss. “Ukam Akimichi reporting for duty!” He’d shout out. His professional salute and demeanor slid away rather quickly as he reach down and pulled out a can of soda from nowhere. Opening it he’d drain the can in one swig before crushing it and returning it to nowhere.
He’d wait and give her a chance to introduce herself before going on. “Been out of the village for a bit.” A massive shrug “been told have to do some missions to r...e.....ass.....imi.....late.” Stumbling over the bigger word he’d put emphasis on the wrong parts. That part was true enough. Having been away for a long time, and only recently returned, his top priority had been given to him by his superiors. Perform as many low ranked missions as possible so as to you his shinobi resume to a status that befitted his rank.
“So uhhhh what’s the gig gal?” He’d ask looking around the field. In truth the mission was tidied away next to the now crushed can, but it had a lot of formalities and big words, and honestly had just seemed a waste to read. Instead trusting in the fact a mission mate would be able to point him in the right direction. Taking in a deep breath and letting out a bellowing sigh he’d breath in the smell of the grove while he waited for instructions.
Despite the cool breeze blowing the man looked more than comfortable with his less than warm attire. His body language was relaxed. Despite this being labeled as a “mission” he didn’t for see any danger in it, and it had been a long time since his last shinobi escapades. The mines had hardened, or at least tried to harden his body, and there was danger sure......but not like that of the shinobi life.

Underneath the ground, Taichi could sense everything, but he didn't need any special sort of sensory to sense the large mountain of a man that began walking passed his actual location. He rose only slightly to see what in the hell the giant would look like "Oh my goodness, he is massive." Taichi said with only his head popping out of the ground. Taichi retreated into the Eart hand he would simply follow the giant.
Taichi noted that the man was giant, he was actually shorter than Taichi was himself, but more then made up for it by being three times his width. "What could this man be looking for?" Taichi rose out of the ground so he could begin his attempt to imitate the walking pattern and structure that the giant man would employ. He created two wood clones so he could have them also witness the marvel of a man that was before him. Swinging his legs wide to accommodate such a stomach. Taichi's wood clones that he had following the giant alongside Taichi would hit Taichi in the back of the head, "You look ridiculous." Taichi's clone would tell him through their telepathic bond.
"Can you believe this guy? He's huge!" Taichi said again, marveling at just how large the man was. Finally he would stop the games and he would walk alongside the giant man as they approached the woman that he had met back in the village, the woman that may end up being the individual who would swap eyes with himself so they could both gain the upgrade in power that was turning their regular Mangekyo Sharingan, to the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.
The giant and Taichi arrived in the same location as the fellow Uchiha when the man would greet her. Taichi watched as the man pulled a soda can out of......he didn't really want to know honestly and down the entirety of the contents with one swig. Taichi would look over to his wood clone again, with a giant grin on his face. "What the hell is this guy!?!" He would say to his clones telepathically. Taichi then waved to the woman, realizing that the last time they had met, he was a nervous wreck around others. Since then, he had gained a stronger grip on controlling his nature energy, allowing the constant pain it would cause him to cease.
He would wait for his fellow clanswoman to explain the situation and explain to both the giant and Taichi what the goal of their meeting was.

His eyes eventually picked up the man walking next to him, or was it more than one. As Hinata spoke, Ukam grabbed their can back from the nether regions of the kilt and took a look at the smashed aluminum before returning it. Just making sure he hadn’t accidentally hit the hard stuff, he surmised the man must be using some form of clone jutsu. Though these clones looked awfully solid. Really there was only one way to find out.
“As you command!” He’d bellow reaching out and pulling in Taichi and one of his clones for a threeway side hug. His powerful arms would pull the man and clone tight if he allowed it before laughing again. Marching unafraid into the meadow he’d strike up a conversation with Taichi first. Asking his name of course, his favorite manga, what kind of food did he like, where there any girls he was interested, very normal talk for someone who worked in mines and on shipping vessels, for a shinobi however, the conversation may have been a touch out of place. Still if it was Ukam didn’t allow it to show, and continued in as though it was normal. As they walked they’d come across several plants, at which Ukam would kneel, grab it by the base and upend the entire plant pulling the roots and shaking the dirt from them.
His care was a little less than Hinata’s had been, yet his girth seemed to be protecting him so far, as if it was bothering him, he never let it show. If Taichi engaged in the same pleasantries, Ukam would speak to what he himself had been up to. How he had just returned to the village and only had recently taken back into shinobi life. The man cared little for secrets, and to his mind if the man was trusted to gather supplies for the village on a mission, then he could be trusted well enough.
He’d make his way towards Hinata after they had finished just in time to see her dodge and jolt away from a goat. This would cause yet another booming guffaw that shook off the field, scaring the goat back to where it had come from. I’m each of his hands was a large bush, that he’d sit down with a strip the hemlock to be placed in the containment vessels.
He would officially introduce himself to Hinata, and in many ways repeat everything he had said to Taichi. His work in the mines and in shipping vessels. That he had been formally trained in the old volcano academy, but sent away. Now with new leadership his name had been called up, and he’d answered the villages call. He’d inform his peer that his purpose first and foremost was to complete missions, to get his resume up to a jounin status prior to being allowed any more “official” duties.
Overall, Ukam had found the mission simple and easy. The sun shine, a light breeze, better than the dank mines and stink of sulfur. Even if this air was just as poisonous. Storing away the goods, he’d walk with Hinata talking about absolutely nothing as they made their way back to the village.

The wide man noticed Taichi as he skulked behind him, the large man pulled him over to where he was walking down the path, and Taichi allowed himself to be pulled in. The man’s arms were gigantic and Taichi was sure he would suffocate within his grasp, but soon he was let go and the man would introduce himself. With Hinata as a part of the group, they would begin entering into the meadow where the goal was to gather themselves a substance known as “Hemlock” Taichi had yet to experience anything with this substance himself, so he was excited to be going on his first mission with others for the sake of Kazangakure!
The large man, who Taichi learned went by the name of Ukam, would begin asking questions about Taichi’s interests. Women, manga, what kind of food that he liked. At first Taichi was flabbergasted, he wasn’t sure if he had ever been asked such questions about himself. He was so shocked that he honestly didn’t know the answers to his questions at first. He responded about the food and the manga first, informing hm that his favorite food was ramen with Pork and beef. His favorite manga was a question that he could not answer for he did not read them very often. When it came to the question of woman he answered with an indifferent answer being none. After Hana and then Bri, he had vowed to himself that he was not going to put any other people in danger by getting close to them, but instead try his best to keep all ties to nothing more than friendship.
Taichi sake Hinata if she could describe just what the plant that they were looking for looked like. Turned out, the hemlock would be a small small plant that would closely resemble plants such as baby’s breath. Which would be longer stalks with small white flowers on the very end of them. Taichi had seen Baby’s breath before, so he had somewhat of an idea as to what it was the he was looking for. With her description, Taichi activated his three tomoe Sharingan so he could analyze the meadow that surrounded them more closely, making sure that if there was any within their area, he would find it. Almost immediately after activating his Sharingan, he found the exact substance that they were looking for and ran off to gather it. With a branch coming out of his side, he cut a basket full of the hemlock and he had his wood clone hold the basket. He regrouped with the remainder of the team.
“I got some!” He would yell to his mission mates as he ran back to their location. The group would then revel in their gatherings and they would begin to turn back around towards the village. The area around them was so beautiful, but not nearly as beautiful as the island that he was given just outside of the main island where the village stood. As they walked back towards the village, he would ask Ukam the same questions that he had asked Taichi on the way into the meadows. Taichi decided that he would remember Ukam as a member within the village that he enjoyed to be around. Where he didn’t have very many of them, both Hinata and Ukam both seemed to be the type of people that would create extremely interested to see just where this small group of shinobi would end up throughout their lives.
