Yuri thought about it the mission adhoc, it would seems that there are other takers better suited this time round and that would help Yuri on her odds a lot. Normally she would not touch this sort of mission yet; At least there are certain guarantees for this one. She cannot waste this opportunity as this seems to ring bells with her progress too.Taking on a transformation that made her look like a one of the miners she had seen previously after she had left the safe zone taking an alley as cover for her transformation to take place, she proceeded to the designated mine that requested assistance. On the way, she would perform a clone seal to keep a seal on her wrist that allows her to bring the tiger out.

Sitting on his bed, Ukam Akimichi read through the mission details. Rolling his eyes he’d sigh and pitch the paper into the waste basket. Reaching down he’d pull up a massive bowl of steamed rice and vegetables before devouring the feast in a matter of moments. Taking a couple deep gulps from a nearby pitcher of tea he’d stand up and proceed to get ready. While it wasn’t strictly uniform, no one had said anything yet, so there was no reason to change. Over his bare chest he’d place the jounin flak jacket he’d been given. It was about a size and a half to small, but he’d been told it was the biggest they had. It fit well enough, but it would never zip, meaning the world got to see a lot more of Ukam than perhaps they actually wanted.
He’d be wearing simple black slacks that where mission appropriate, and his ninja headband was tied around his wrist on his right arm, the Volcano symbol facing out. He’d strap on his various ninja tools, and secure his massive weapon onto his back. Simply called “the ball” in an almost joking tone, the weapon had served the Akimichi of Funka for some time. Now it was his. Massive and spiked, it was a weapon that provoked fear, and after all a weapon you didn’t even have to swing often worked better than the one you did.
On each hip jangled a Fuma shuriken, ready for be drawn as necessary. In all, a normal shinobi wouldn’t be able to walk let alone perform with all of the metal that Ukam now found on his person, yet the big man seemed to pay it no mind. As he left his apartment he stopped at the small restaurant and picked up a couple of rice balls before making his way past the village and onto the mines where they’d be working.
This would be his fourth official mission as a returned volcano shinobi. Already he had completed a B rank and two C ranks. This would be the first A. As he continued down the path coming up on the mines he wondered why this mission was ranked so highly. To him, he assumed it was because of the value of Jade. It was a highly coveted material and securing it for the village would be worth their time, and probably more. The folks he had known who mined the jade had never been a particularly pleasant bunch, but he wasn’t sure if it would be them or others. Either way, he whistled as he walked up and found a frequent mission companion.
“Hinata!” He’d shout in a deep booming voice. Tossing a rice ball at her he’d bound the rest of the way up to stand next to her. “Shoulda known you’d be takin this en. Huh?” He’d say with a smile. She was possibly one of the busiest shinobi in the village. A familiar face gave him great pleasure as they waited for whoever else was to show up.

Travin walked out of his house fire red hair blowing in the wind with his cloak. It was a black cloak today with a deep blue under color he was going to be working in a mine today. He tossed some money at Bill who caught it like every day and took his normal breakfast of two rice balls. He had his water skin filled and grabbed a few extra rice balls today from Bill and tucked them in his storage jutsu. The real name was Storage Displacement but really it was just a storage jutsu and that’s what he called it. He recalled that this was going to be an A-rank mission and was happy to finally get a chance to get into a real fight again. Since he joined the mission he hadn’t had anything more than a friendly spar to help keep the rust off, and with this being A rank he knew that it had a chance of danger more than a chance a good chance. Since why he took a few extra things including a bottle of bourbon he had tucked into his storage jutsu before walking out of the house. After all, he didn’t know how long he would be gone on this mission, and he only knew that he would have some help. He then realized that he was never told who they were or ever talked to them before the mission. He just hoped that it was someone that he knew. Maybe that cute girl Hinata or the big guy Ukam, but really that was about the only people he had really met up to this point. After all, he really didn’t like to go out of his way to meet people very often.
Travin hoped that everyone would have the same ideal as him and just head to the mind and see who showed up. It didn’t take him long to get over to the mine his motel room is pretty close to that end of town and he just jumped what bit of a wall the village had at the time and kept going. He never worried about getting lost he was pretty good in nature having spent his entire life in it more than towns and villages. He took the straight rout over the mountain and from the top could see a few people standing outside. He couldn’t tell if it was the team he was on or just workers. After all, it was very early in the morning when he got there. Turned out to just be a few workers he noticed as he got closer, but there was someone walking up the road. Someone he did notice. It was Hinata granted he was still a good way to go before getting there but it was nice to know that not only would he know at least one person on the team, but the team would also have a nice view as well.
He made it the bottom of the mountain and jumped down over the entrance to the mine. Landing and walking over to where Hinata stood she was facing away from him and looking down the road. Travin had heard someone yell her name out and what appeared to be a rice ball flew through the air at her. It was Ukam what are the odds Travin thought to himself they only two people he had spent any real time with in the village were both on his team, and while he didn’t have a clue about what Hinata could do other than crazy eye powers the Sharingan gave her. He did know that Ukam was a powerful front line fighter and would fit perfectly with Travin. He then realized that he still didn’t know what the hell the Sharingan could do or if she even had it. He had forgotten what his father told him about what it could when he asked him after his and Hinata’s mission. He really needed to pay more attention when it came to clans and their powers.
“Hey, guys I was hoping to have people I knew on this mission to work with” Travin would have a smile as he spoke loud enough for them both to hear him.
