As Guren awoke in the morning, he rolled out of bed and started to his morning. First he performed his morning ritual, ensuring that his hygiene was well kept: washing his face, brushing his teeth, grooming his beard and hair, then getting dressed. After throwing on his trademark hooded trench coat, he started for the front door so that he could begin his day. His intentions were to begin with his morning workout, then hit a local food cart and enjoy some unhealthy food. Yin and yang, exercise and fatty food; life was truly about balance. Yet as he started to leave, he noted a scroll partially tucked underneath the bottom of the door. Guren bent over to retrieve it, slightly tugging at it until it was successfully freed from its position. The scroll read:
"Guren,
Meet me outside the Cleft. I would like to request your assistance in a mission. There will be another who joins us. - Mizuki"
Upon finishing, he rolled it up and tucked it into his left front pocket and smiled at the thought of spending a day with the pleasant women he met the other day in the academy. And so he would set out of his apartment to help out his friend. Traveling through the city, he made his way to the village gates to which he showed the scroll to the village guard Han, who then let Guren exit the village freely. It seemed as if the mission request from Mizuki was enough to allow Guren to exit freely. Or perhaps it was just the come and go nature of Sunagakure.
As Guren passed the guard station, he saw Mizuki standing a bit further away. He walked over and nodded towards her. "What's up Mizuki," he asked, "Something urgent come up?"
Based on the fact that the meeting point was set outside the village, it would seem as if a bit of traveling outwards from Sunagakure would be required today. But that was no problem. Truthfully, Guren was well tuned to the desert of Wind Country. He had actually spent more time here than in Sunagakure itself. Nevertheless the difference in temperature between the interior and exterior of the village and it's shielded dome was quite noticeable, as the early morning sun's rays scorched upon anything it touched, including Guren.

Re: Dr. Green Thumb (Mizuki, Sebastian)

The night before
Mizuki sat at her her desk, legs crossed atop the chair as she penned the two letters that were set to go to Sebastian Michaelson and Guren Chinoike - Each read the same, giving each a location to meet and a fair warning that there would be a third so as not to give alarm when someone they didn’t know showed up. Truthfully this meeting was long coming, Mizuki had the pleasure of meeting both men one on one and each had potential to play important pieces in her rise to power - now to see how well they work together. She had paid a messenger to deliver each to the doorsteps that evening. The next day was going to be interesting one way or another.
The Next Day
Mizuki woke with the sun - weak rays peeking through the east facing window, causing her to rise and ready herself for a day outside of the weather controlled Sunagakure. Internally groaning she had to leave her Kimono behind and instead pull on her skin tight body suit that covered her from throat to wrist to ankle and then finally pulling her hair up to gather in an intricate knot at the back of her head , save for a few tendrils that framed her face - this would keep her hair off her neck while also shading it from the sun considering how much hair she had overall - finally she finished by wrapping her hands and knuckles in black gauze. Her usual hygiene routine was easy enough to knock out and she was heading out the door in less than 20 minutes - a leather satchel strapped to her back.
Since she lived so close to the Cleft she was easily the first one there , giving a two finger salute to Hans and a jovial, “Morning Hans, beautiful day to burn in a desert don’t you think?”, he simply shook his head at her as she walked through the gates, waiting for the two men to show up. Not long after, thankfully, she could sense Guren approaching - simply watching with a smirk as he showed his paperwork to Hans who allowed his exit. She raised her left hand to shield her eyes as he got closer, the sun was still rising and was finally at that annoying angle that blinded. “Urgent is a fine enough word but I prefer educational and rewarding. We are still waiting on our second but we are taking a trip to a hidden grove a few hundred meters north west of here - full of very lovely poisonous plants. Should be useful enough.”, she left it at that, not willing to admit just yet that this was also a test to see how well her two prospective teammates worked together - she needed it to be as organic as possible.

What does someone with way too much time on his hands do this early in the morning? Well in his case Sebastian was making himself ready to leave his temporary place. How he did it, Sebastian wasn't sure, but for better or worse the young misfit succeeded in finding a place to crash. It wasn't anything special but it would at least provide him with more comfort than the streets did. He was pretty low on cash, so he figured it wouldn't hurt to try and find something to earn him a couple of ryo. "Damn, I need some new shoes as well" he said as his stomach started to growl. Quickly grabbing a piece of fruit before he would finally leave, Sebastian closed the door behind him on his way out, only to notice a piece of paper which seemed to be specifically for him to find.
Looking to his left and right in case he could still spot the messenger, he picked it up wondering what it was about. "Could it be, a love letter?" Perhaps the Tau had left a better impression on the people of Sunagakure than he originally thought. All jokes aside he would open the letter to read its content to find out what it really was about. There wasn't all that much information written in the message besides a location and a warning there would be a third party present. "Hm, so not a confession after all." By the time he had finished reading, Sebastian already noticed it was none other than Mizuki who required his presence. "Not even a yours sincerely, tsk." A grin had started to appear on his face as he put the letter in one of his side pockets before making his way over to the gate.
As he was about to make his exit he noticed there would be a different gate guard this time, Sebastian figured the man would know who Mizuki was so he simply showed him the letter which would allow for safe passage. "Got a hot date, you know her?" With a simple nod of his head, the guard then motioned for Sebastian to leave the village. The young misfit didn't have to walk that far before coming across two people who were seemingly waiting for him to arrive. One he recognized as the young woman who had requested to meet while the other, a man, didn't look familiar in the slightest. "Mylady" with a slight bow addressing Mizuki before looking at the other individual present, using two of his left fingers to salut him in a rather casual manner. "Partner." Once he considered his arrival successful he deemed it time to find out what was going on. "So, something about plants?" On his way over Sebastian caught a bit of their conversation but not enough to make out what it was about, something he would find out soon enough.

As Mizuki explained the brief details of the mission, Guren furrowed his brow and nodded. He had no issue with accompanying Mizuki and whoever this third person was, but he was primarily interested interested in the reasoning behind it. Was this group really just assembled to search for poisonous flowers? The idea seemed rather juvenile, yet in some ways practical. Although there was an inherent risk of getting poisoned, if the mission was completed securely there would be quite the useful asset in Guren's arsenal. Who knew when a readily source of poison would come in handy?
"Hmm, okay. What urged you to undertake such a mission? The potential of harvesting some poisonous flowers for yourself," Guren paused and then smiled lightly. "Damn, I didn't realize you would try to kill me this soon," he followed up with a friendly laugh. After this exchange, Guren folded his arms and directed his attention off towards the direction of the village gates. From there he could see a man approaching. Even from this distance Guren could notice his tall stature and muscular physique. He was a much larger person than either Guren or Mizuki were, yet physical builds didn't really intimidate Guren. Besides, Guren was doubtful that this man had ill intentions. His gaze seemed fixated on Mizuki, as if he had known her. And sure enough he did, evident by the overly formal greeting he offered. His courtly behavior was uncharacteristic of most that Guren had met, both within Sunagakure and throughout his travels. Perhaps he had come from a distant land, whereas manners and polite demeanor were of the upmost importance and subsequently embedded in its members? Or there was always the simpler explanation: maybe he was quite fond of Mizuki.
In either case, Guren chuckled at the contrasting greeting that he received from the man. "What's up?" Guren offered in response, extending a closed fist towards the newcomer. "I go by G," he let out. Whether the man chose to receive the fist bump and offer an introduction was up to him, and should he choose not to Guren would shrug the rudeness off and then center his focus back to Mizuki while tucking his hands into his pockets. "I guess everyone is here, so we can head out whenever you're ready."

Re: Dr. Green Thumb (Mizuki, Sebastian)

She held her hands clasped behind her back as the enormous form of their final teammate approached from the gate - having been waved through by Hans. While his looks were eerie and foreboding, his demeanor was something of a slap in the face - she had already come to know this but the reaction G gave was priceless none-the-less. The smile formed unconsciously as she took in his greeting with a gracious nod and tried not to laugh as the two personalities clashed before her eyes. This team couldn’t be more diverse if she tried. Taking a deep breath she brought her hands forward again, clapping them together to signal the start - “Yes, plants. Not just any plants -”, she gave Guren a mischievous grin in regards to his earlier comment, “- the fun deadly kind of plant to be more exact. There is a hidden grove a few hundred meters north west, real secluded and hard to get to but for the likes of us it should be simple enough. We are going to be gathering them to make poisons, a versatile option in every arsenal and one I expect the two of you to have at the ready at all times. So, if you will follow me, boys.” She pressed forward along the path with her head held high and the length of her black silk kimono shining in the sun as she walked.
It wasn’t a far trek so there was no need to race there, plus desert mornings weren’t as bad as the afternoons in terms of temperature so the travel wasn’t unpleasant to say the least. If Mizuki hadn’t found the grove many weeks prior there would be no telling signs anything was beyond the jagged barren boulders that seemed to go on endlessly - creating tall rock formations that seemed to stretch up endlessly in jagged angles. From first impression the formations were straight and seemed to stretch on endlessly to the horizons but if one were to climb - as she had begun to do - her feet finding footholds with ease until she was standing at the top of the ridge, the chakra pooling in her feet holding her steady as she stared down at the lush assortment of greenery that was in stark contrast to the lifeless ground they had seen thus. She only paused for a moment before she tipped her form forward enough to slide down the relatively smooth side of the inner grove walls, the wind created by her decent making her clothing and hair flow like water behind her before she hit level ground and stepped a few paces into the space - only then turning to make sure they had followed her.
“What we are looking for are very small delicate plants, they look like small sprigs of white, dainty and thin, but even in that area that should be easy for us to find. So I propose we make this interesting, whoever can steal the others’ bundle of Hemlock and make it back to this spot-”, pulling a kunai out of her pocket she jammed it into the ground at all of their feet - “- and pull this out of the ground is the winner. Simple rules, only hand to hand combat is allowed - I have to admit I’m more than a little curious at what levels we are at, and basics are usually a good base line to start.” She turned her face to stare into the thicket of brush and vegetation as she reached behind her back to untie the ribbon that held the kimono tight on her waist, as the knot released she shrugged it off and draped it neatly over one of the closer boulders. Underneath that had been her usual skin tight body suit that gave her as much mobility as was available to her, she had even stopped wearing traditional shoes in favor of heavy wrappings to keep not only her footfalls near silent but her balance impeccable. She rolled her shoulders back as she gathered her long black hair up and knotted it up and out of the way before giving a final look of mischief at the two - “May the best woman win.” with her last words, and in hopes they agreed to her friendly game among teammates, she took off at top speed - a B line for the very center of the thicket in search of the delicate white flowers.

Re: Dr. Green Thumb (Mizuki, Sebastian)

Sebastian wasn't sure what the best response would be in this case, but he figured telling them they could call him S wouldn't be the way to go. "The name's Sebastian, or Seba if you'd like" he replied and accepted G's fist bump. Mizuki would clap her hands, not because she congratulated the young misfit for making it out there, but to begin her explanation as to why they were gathered there today. Long story short, the three of them were going to collect plants in order to make poison. Although he preferred using other methods to take one's life, his medical background allowed Sebastian to be aware of how deadly those substances could be when applied correctly.
The young woman would be taking the lead after she had encouraged the two men to follow behind. Curious about the hidden grove, the Tau did as he was asked and simply started walking. "So, G. How come you're not wearing a kimono?" Maintaining a serious look on his face Sebastian would be giving off the impression he wasn't joking, which of course he was. He expected his new companion to be aware all was said in a jokingly manner, just like he was expecting Mizuki to pick up on his remark about the way she was dressed today. Not that he had been checking her out the entire time, but he would be lying if he said he didn't notice her lovely outfit.
Continuing his walk, Sebastian found their travel to be rather pleasant considering the current temperature allowed for a relatively relaxing journey. After a while he noticed they had started climbing, meaning the hidden grove couldn't be that far away anymore. As soon as he saw Mizuki making a halt before descending, the young misfit would follow suit as he would go down the grove walls before safely hitting the ground. It was then time again to listen what she had to say as she started to explain things once more. From what he could understand they were looking for small, white plants and although their appearance shouldn't be that hard to find.
To make things interesting Mizuki proposed the three of them to engage in a little game of trying to steal each other's bundle of Hemlock with the use of hand to hand combat. A mischievous smile appeared on the Tau's face as he noticed the woman taking off in search of those flowers. The young misfit suddenly wondered if this was one of those occasions where you have to let the woman win, but fortunately for Mizuki the term courtesy was unbeknownst for Sebastian so the gentleman started running to some bushes which were to the left of where the kunoichi ended up. He expected G to follow the other two's example and to begin his search for plants as well.

Re: Dr. Green Thumb (Mizuki, Sebastian)

Guren would nod in acceptance as Sebastian, or Seba, received his fist bump. It was a good first impression. In the event that he declined it, Guren wouldn’t hold it against him but would just recognize that Seba wasn’t the “buddy buddy” type of guy. Truthfully Guren wasn’t either, however he recognized that both he and Seba were here on Mizuki’s request. Thus it would only make sense for the two to have a mutual respect for each other. And the fact of the matter was that the two would likely work together in the future. Thinking back on his first interaction with Mizuki, Guren recalled that she was a straight shot. So much so that trivial conversation and actions seemed to be meaningless to the woman. She had to have a plan for the two men which stood before her, as it would be an insult to her abilities to insinuate that she needed assistance in a mission picking poisonous flowers.
Upon the introduction, Guren continued to listen to Mizuki’s briefing. Seemed simple enough, a relatively straight forward mission. And so it was obvious, Mizuki was scouting the two out for some plan of hers. In the short encounter they first had, Mizuki did not get to see Guren’s abilities. Maybe the same was true for Seba, depending on how long she knew him. Yet he wouldn’t allow his mind or his face to display his thought process, instead he offered a slight smile and easy compliance. “Sounds good to me, lead the way.”
Following this, the trio would start off towards the direction in the pasture Mizuki spoke of. Shortly after they began Seba asked a rather…unique question. From the context of it, Guren would assume it was a joke. Yet when he turned his head to look at Seba for any social queues to indicate he was joking, Seba’s face was as plain as no seasoning on chicken. Guren’s face wrinkled slightly, one brow raised higher than the other and his eyes half squinted. “Uh…I must have left mine at home…” Guren exchanged in a confused tone. “Must have left them in the same place you left your muscles,” Guren said lightly as he directed his attention forward. He was unsure of if Seba was joking, or just weird, but in either case he attempted to offer some playful banter back in return. Clearly strong Seba brought his muscles with him.
The path would continue, and so the two followed in Mizuki’s trail. Boulder after boulder, until a steep ridge was met. They all ascended it, and then trickled down behind the wave of descent Mizuki made. Finally they had arrived. Now a bit more deep of a briefing was provided, indicating what the goal in mind was and what it looked like. Yet it was deeper than what was initially advised, for this would be a competition. Upon hearing so, Guren rotated his head to the right and then back to the left, cracking his neck to each side. Following this, he would extend his hands forward and crack the bones in his fingertips. “Oh yeah? Sounds fun. It’s been awhile since someone was close enough to me to engage in hand to hand combat. Let’s see if I can’t get the rust off,” he smirked while immediately darting off from the group and towards the Western direction. He intended to acquire his bundle of Hemlock, steal those of the others, and secure the kunai which was dug into the ground. This was his competition to win.
At full speed he booked it towards nearby pasture and with great haste gathered a bundle of Hemlock in his gloved hands. Swiftly peering to each side he caught a glimpse of Mizuki and Seba, both of which seemed to be too preoccupied with their initial task to focus on Guren himself. Thus he would mix things up a little. Stealthily tucking the Hemlock within a hidden pouch within his hooded trench coat, he snuggly smoothed the outside of it such that no bulge would indicate its location. Simultaneously he would grab ahold of a smoke bomb from his weapon pouch on his right thigh and perform the dog, boar, and ram handseals with that same hand. Resultantly the smoke bomb would take the appearance of a bouquet of Hemlock. Should either Mizuki or Seba attempt to grab it, a massive decoy would go underway and Guren would utilize the shade of the smoke to make his move.
With the fake Hemlock in hand, he immediately darted back towards the kunai, completely anticipating that he would be intercepted by either of his current comrades. If uninterrupted, he would head straight towards the kunai and attempt to reach for it. However if either Mizuki or Seba would also be nearing the kunai with their own Hemlock, Guren would change up his plan.

Although it was against the rules to use jutsu, what harm would a little transformation technique have? Besides, shinobi were trained to be deceptive and crafty.

Her speed just edged out her competition, the footfalls silent and well placed as she raced over the small patches of grass, rock and debris until she came across a clump of the poisonous flora. Before taking a kunai from her pocket her cut them off at the base, she slipped on two black gloves - now to secure them on her person - taking small section of her hair, roughly an inch wide section in the very thick center, she would use it to tie wrap the bundle up and tie it securely before letting the top layers of her hair conceal the petals and keep her skin from touching it. Thus even if one could discern their location they would have a real issue getting it out without a serious fight. As she did this she kept turning in a slow manner so as to continue scanning the surrounding area to catch a glimpse of her partners - there was Guren! The white flash of hemlock shining bright in the dark tone of his clenched fist - that's odd, leaving oneself at a distinct disadvantage for hand to hand combat - Seb was nowhere in her sight upon her last sweep but time was of the essence and Guren was already peeling off toward the kunai.
Yes the competition would not be won til one had at least one others’ bundle and the kunai, the sight of him already heading for the finish line in some semblance still made her kick her pace into overdrive. Sticking to the ground was only allowing her one angle on her newly acquired target, so as she reached top speed she pushed off the ground and onto a tree trunk to her left - and launched off it to another one a few meters off to the right. Zig zagging her way forward and up; gaining ground in both directions as she began to close the distance Guren’s early find had given him. Just as he was within 10 meters of her she slid 2 senbon and a shuriken from her weapons pouch, used a final hard kick off the tree trunk and flung herself to the left - with practiced hand she threw the shuriken to fly between G’s legs and land a half meter in his path, one of the two senbon being aimed at the the elbow of the arm that held the hemlock bundle and the second aimed to nail the bundle perfectly. With the the first senbon being aimed at his elbow the nerves in his arm would automatically make the muscles in the hand spasm for the briefest of moments - either causing him to drop the bundle outright or simply losen his grip to allow the second senbon to spear the target and pull the bundle from his grasp only to nail it to the ground a meter ahead of him.
If the senbon hit as anticipated she would get a true shock as a small explosion would erupt with smoke - covering her targets from her view. She was approaching the ground now so she would simply tuck her head in to allow her frame to roll once before landing on poised feet and sprinting the remaining 7 meters into the thick of the smoke. One thing Guren was unaware of - she didn’t need her eyes to locate him. Now within her 5 meter range she could hear his heartbeat with a clear traitorous thumping - pinpointing it to a meter to her left she would close her eyes to keep the smoke from stinging her eyes before launching forward. While her hearing told him where he was she was still unsure where his arms were or which way he was facing, so instead of launching herself at his torso she would have launched herself down so that she would run into his legs - and no matter what direction he faced she would easily rip him off his balance and climb on him to pin him down.
Each knee was planted firmly on either side of his body as one hand clamped around his neck - whether the back or front the grip would be tight enough on the sides to start restricting blood flow as her free hand began frisking his person for the obviously now concealed bundle of hemlock, she was careful to keep the knife like sharpness of her nails from doing any damage to his skin or his clothing as she searched his person only then coming across the barely noticeable lump in a portion of his clothing - reaching in with her still gloved hand she was able to pull out the crumpled bundle and slid it in her weapons pouch as she simultaneously rolled off him and sprinted to her feet directly for the kunai. If she was apprehended she would alter her movements to defend herself while making every effort to still reach the kunai plunged into the earth that was 20 meters away.

Not paying any attention to what was happening Sebastian was simply admiring the green scenery where the hemlock supposedly should be. He couldn't help but let himself get absorbed by his favorite color, but not for long. The young misfit noticed the other two had already filled their bundle with the plants. "Not yet" he whispered to himself. His bright, green eyes were now locked onto G, who was the first to take action as he suddenly started to make his way to their starting point. As expected Mizuki wouldn't let that happen as she engaged and began her pursuit. A mischievous smile appeared on Sebastian face, feeling like one of those masterminds from a movie whenever their plans were coming together.
Now, to say he planned everything from the start would be a bridge too far, but from the beginning it was clear those two were only going to keep an eye on each other. Quickly grabbing some of the hemlock before putting it in his own bundle, Sebastian would get up and follow behind, keeping a safe distance between Guren and Mizuki, and himself. Slowly approaching he noticed the swift catlike movements of Mizuki before she would suddenly throw a couple of objects towards G's position in an attempt to halt him in his movements. One of the sharp objects would then hit its target, causing the bundle to drop to the ground. Unexpectedly it wasn't any hemlock, but a large puff of smoke that appeared. It seemed Sebastian wasn't the only sneaky one around.
As the smoke started to fill the area the young misfit noticed how Mizuki continued her assault as she pounced on Guren. It wasn't long before most of his view would be obscured but he saw what needed to be seen anyway. Slowing down his heartbeat, momentarily stopping his breathing to make as little noise as possible as he started to sneak up on them. While making his move he couldn't help but feel like he missed the opportunity to roll around with Mizu and getting some of that "hand to hand combat", but unfortunately it would be Guren who was able to experience it firsthand.
Entering the cloud of smoke Sebastian was just in time to witness how Mizuki pulled out a bundle of hemlock while she was still occupied and tangled up in quite the interesting position. "Thanks gorgeous" he'd say as he snatched away the prize from her hands and immediately started sprinting for the kunai which he would then pull out upon his arrival. Lazy, but effective. As a wise man once said: I always choose a lazy person to do a hard job, because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it. With the kunai and the bundle of hemlock in his hands he would then sit down while the other two were still engaged in their fight. Dropping the plants next to him he'd grab some leftover cookies from his side pocket all the while waiting for Mizuki and Guren to join him.

Re: Dr. Green Thumb (Mizuki, Sebastian)

As Guren began to make his way towards the kunai implanted in the ground, in the corner of his eye he noticed Mizuki already preparing her next move. It seemed as if she was solely focused on Guren, and not Seba who still was securing his own hemlock bouquet. This was fine, and quite honestly expected. Guren had figured that the victor of this mission would be decided based on their timing and the opportunities that presented themselves. In some cases, it made more sense to create your own and that was exactly what Guren had done. As he sprinted, he witnessed Mizuki throwing several projectiles at him. An interesting maneuver, considering it essentially violated her own rules of hand to hand combat only. But Guren was guilty of breaking the terms as well, seeing as he carried a smoke bomb disguised as hemlock. And that bundle was exactly what Mizuki was after. With a blink of his eyes, his right would formulate into its Ketsuryugan appearance. Surely it would prove beneficial in the events to come.
As the shuriken hurled towards his projected path, Guren had enough time to side step it with a subtle lunge to his left. The shuriken would whiz through the air past him. But he wasn’t in the clear yet as two senbons whirled towards his position, with Mizuki following in suit. With precision, Guren would stop running and shift his body into a tactical squat, downward and to the right. By doing so, the senbon which was intended to pinpoint the hemlock bundle in his hand would miss by several inches. However the senbon targeted at his arm was now on trajectory to pierce the bundle. Surprisingly, this was a favorable outcome. In the same motion he used to dodge the first senbon, Guren flicked his right wrist and resultantly hurled the faux bouquet right towards the senbon, effectively intercepting it. In their collision, a poof would arise and quickly expand to engulf the surrounding 10m diameter around the clashing point in a thick cloud of smoke. This would include the locations of both Guren and Mizuki, who by this time were in closer proximity to each other due to the woman pursuing him. At the point of explosion the two were each 2 meters from either side of the originating point.
Within the plume of smoke, Guren’s visibility would only be dulled and thanks to his blood vision he could still make out a silhouette of the approaching woman which matched her loud and audible movements as she maneuvered throughout the cloud of smoke. Luckily, tracking her would not prove as tedious as he had thought. Using his slight visual and audio cues, he pinpointed Mizuki’s location a second before she sought to pounce at his lower frame, thankfully just enough time to react. With a swift motion he would slide 1 meter to his left as if he was hitting the Cha Cha slide, clearing the attack from Mizuki with room to spare. As he now stood above her and adjacent to her side, Guren would back track a few steps until he had cleared himself from the cover of the smoke; all while keeping his attention fixated upon where Mizuki might be within the cloud of smoke.
Once he would successfully exit from the smoke, he noted that the bouquet of hemlock which had been positioned within his trench coat had been missing. Realizing that it must had come lose during the evasion and commotion, Guren quickly scouted the nearby area. Sure enough off in the distance he would see Seba sprinting like a turkey to the location of the kunai with a hemlock pile in hand. Based on Seba’s closeness to the kunai, it was clear he had won this competition. Such a shame. Guren had seemed to draw Mizuki’s attention, and in their brief engagement Seba would come out as opportunistic and victorious as ever. Oh well, it was a friendly competition anyway. Guren sighed and shrugged and then began walking over to the direction of Seba who stood proudly, eating a cookie to celebrate his win.
As Guren got closer he let out a firm, “Hey.” It was stern and serious. “So, you’re just going to weasel your way into a win and worst of all not even offer me a cookie? Damn…and just when I thought we were getting close,” Guren followed up with an obvious joking tone and a friendly smile on his face. “No really though, good job. Seems like you were craftier than I thought. Next time I guess I’ll have to watch out for you a bit closer,” he continued while reaching out a closed fist once more to Seba to commend him of his success. Upon receiving the fist bump Guren would continue the motion of it over to Mizuki’s direction assuming that she also walked over and stood with the two men. While he awaited her to connect it, he let out a “So why did you focus on me, when Seba was the real threat here?” His question was light hearted in nature, clearly highlighting his intention to show that there were no hard feelings.
