Don't go easy!

It was rather strange that the Hyuuga couldn't dodge a simple attack like that, he definitely saw the kunai coming but it's seem his timing was wrong. The kunai pierced him in the stomach, the hyuuga would fall to ground on his back. By the time he was down, he had deactivated his byakugan. He knew this fight was over the moment the blade pierced through him. Thankfully it did no fatal damage. Akaboshi would run to Sakuragi to help him pull out the blade. The spill of blood was minimal and it seem his blood would soon cloth the wound. The red head would ask if Sakuragi wanna go to an hospital, “ No, I'm fine ” he said in a soft tone as he slowly rise to his feet.



“I never thought I would be taken down by such an attack, but you're strong Akaboshi and I have to be strong as well...” he paused for a while before continuing “ What's that jutsu you used the other time that time that almost sucked me in? I must say it's a very deadly one, could you please teach me that Akaboshi- San” he said with a warm smile. He could see feel pain in the wound, it was good it was not a severe one or the hyuuga would be in the hospital by now. Sakuragi looked at Akaboshi waiting his response before he spoke again “... also if there's any other thing that I need to learn to learn that jutsu, I'm ready to learn them if you'll teach me” it almost sound like his voice was breaking as the white eyed boy was talking slower than usual. It was wasn't because of the pain of the wound , he was just tired from the prolong fight. If only he was able to close the distance with the redhead, he was very sure that he would have finished him off in one swift move, but it seem the uzumaki knew Sakuragi's weakness, so he kept the distance which gave him advantage to neatly execute his attack.



The only thing the hyuuga want would be to become stronger and challenge the redhead some other day. He hope Akaboshi would teach him everything he need to know about the sucking jutsu.

Akaboshi saw to his own relief that the spiky haired Hyuuga was able to stand up on his two feet. Luckily for Sakuragi the kunai missed all of his vital points even though it pierced his stomach. Except for some pain and blood it seemed he got off easy this time. The red haired Uzumaki decided to give the young boy some time to catch his breath and shake off the pain that was surely still lingering. He still wasn't sure if he should take him to the hospital or not but it was Sakuragi's own wish to stay, so he would respect his decision. Maybe it had been for the best that the redhead's aim was so precise, a couple of centimeters higher and it would have been fatal. And then he wasn't even thinking about the explosive tag he could have set off at any time, blowing the Hyuuga to pieces.

After a couple of minutes Akaboshi was met by another one of Sakuragi's requests. Quite the interesting turn of events. "That one is called Cavum Nigrum" he answered the spiky haired boy's question about the technique he used during their spar earlier. Not only did he want to know more about the jutsu, he was also looking to learn it himself. And to add more to the surprise the young Hyuuga requested for the Chunin to become his teacher for the day. Akaboshi did not see that one coming, he didn't expect their spar to turn out the way it did and now he was even asked to teach. The redhead remembered his days at the Queensguard where one of his responsibilities consisted of overlooking their forces' training, so it wouldn't be that out of the ordinary if he was to do the same for Sakuragi.

"It wouldn't be simply me showing you how to do it, there's a lot more involved than just that." The art of Space and Time was not something to take lightly nor to underestimate. The Uzumaki himself had to spend a lot of time before he was able to master the specialty. Unless one was a true prodigy they would have to work hard in order to achieve the same level of expertise. "It won't be easy. If you're not ready to give me 120 percent I won't even bother teaching you. So what do you say, are you ready?" Now it was up to the spiky haired Hyuuga to decide if he still wanted to learn more about Space/Time.

It seems there's much to the jutsu than Sakuragi thought. It was a space time jutsu, Alot of effort would be needed to even let the space time speciality let not alone the jutsu. Sakuragi wasn't sure he could pronounce the name of the jutsu as it sounded odd.



Anyway, learning the jutsu itself is way more important than learning its name. The brown skin boy would focus on every single detail the redhead gave, It seems Akaboshi would not even bother to teach him if he would not give enough concentration and effort to learning this.  This speciality is a difficult one to learn, those who have mastered its' art have gone through years of intense training. The journey of Mastery is only about to begin for the hyuuga boy. Since The uzumaki wanted to see how much effort the hyuuga would put into this training, the hyuuga would let out a bright smile, his teeth showing off. “ I Will give you a 200% ” he said in a loud voice. His facial expression might not really  show  his serious to train, but Sakuragi knew he was at the peak of his seriousness right now. He was so focus that he wouldn't mind spending the entire night here learning this speciality. It seems Akaboshi would be more than jutsu a training partner for today, he would be Sakuragi's teacher for the day. Things are about to sparkle as the brown skin boy await instructions from Akaboshi.

"Good, let's begin shall we?" And with that the red haired Uzumaki turned his back at Sakuragi and started walking to the middle of the Training Grounds, assuming the spiky haired Hyuuga would follow suit. Once he noticed the young boy did as he expected Akaboshi would begin with a little bit of explaining more about what Space/Time entails and what could be understand as its concept. "Anything that pertains to the manipulation of time and space, teleportation jutsu is listed under space-time." The redhead formed a couple of hand seals to show what he meant by that. After forming the hand signs, the Chuunin formed a rift in reality and hurled it in a straight line towards a tree nearby. "I'm sure you recognize this one?" Of course he would be referring to the Cavum Nigrum technique he had used earlier during their spar.

"As you can see I manipulated time and space around me in a way that allowed me to create a rift." Akaboshi figured the Hyuuga should still be able to understand what he was saying so far. By both giving an example while explaining at the same time the red haired Uzumaki was certain it would be the easiest way for Sakuragi to learn something. "By manipulating a specific point of space, I now can warp anything targeted into a dimensional void and teleport it to another location instantaneously." Being able to manipulate, distort or bend the space-time continuum, Space-Time can cause devastating effects. Although this ability is usually considered to simply combine the manipulation of space together. 

By now Akaboshi had both shown and explained how to perform Space/Time jutsu. All that was left was for Sakuragi to try and do the same. "Your turn" he'd say while leaning against one of the trees nearby, curious to see if the spiky haired Hyuuga would be able to successfully grasp the art of space and time.

[Teaching Sakuragi Space/Time specialty and Cavum Nigrum]

First it was training, now it was teacher, his day began with something more than what he expected and would be ending even more than what he expected. He never thought he would  be taught a jutsu by the redhead chuunin, he never thought he would be defeated by a kunai today too, at least not in the way the chunin used it. Sakuragi was only lucky that the Uzumaki didn't explode the explosive tag on the kunai or the injury would have been more fatal than this.  Even though he loss the battle, he would never lose the experience he gained today. Sakuragi was a ruthless individual in battle especially when it comes to battling those he was certain he would beat. It seems the hyuuga overestimated himself even before the battle began and when Akaboshi keeps pulling back, that made him believe that the chunin was weak for keeping distance. sakuragi never had the chance to get close enough to the redhead or he would have finished off before he knew it. Or perhaps the whited eyed speculations were wrong, perhaps the redhead was only toying with him and did  not want to go all out, perhaps if he went all out the battle would have ended in a swift move, perhaps he would lose a limb, an eye or a leg or perhaps not.

It didn't seem like that matter now since the winner has been decided, even though sakuragi's stupidity was what cost him the fight, he had learn his lesson, never underestimate anyone, never look down on anyone. Not that Sakuragi underestimated akaboshi, he only underestimated the flying kunai not to  be able to hit him, he however timed that flying kunai wrongly.

All of that didn't matter much, the kunai has been pulled out and its time for the teacher to teach his student. Sakuragi was  ready to give all concentration and effort to learning this jutsu, after all , was this not what he had always wanted?  To become stronger ? . He had always wanted to train harder, harder than all his peers. His training has been showing good result but he's got to train more and this is just the perfect time for him. With the redhead's help, learning this jutsu should be pretty easy. However it seem there are things sakuragi has got to understand and learn first before he can master this justu. Akaboshi would be turn his back at Sakuragi and would begin to walk towards the middle of the training ground, Sakuragi would catch up with the chunin follow him by his side curious to see what he would show or explain to him.
 The white eyed listened attentively as the chunnin began to explain the theory of space time. Sakuragi is a good reader and a fast learner, he had only a glimpse about the art of space time. but the way he is hearing this now from  the redhead his horizon was widen. At first it was as if he would not understand the theory behind this wonderful specialty , but later as the redhead continued his explanation  the idea became crystal clear to him. Despite this, there is still so much for the boy to learn. Sakuragi never knew that space time art and teleportation were related , he heard it first from akaboshi.  From the explanation the chunin , the spiky haired came to realize that the art of space time jutsu was not even limited to this rift jutsu alone neither was it limited to teleportation jutsu. The hyuuga boy learned he could also manipulate a specific point of space and wrap anything targeted into dimensional void and teleport it to another location instantaneously. The brown skin boy further realized that the use space time art was not even limited to these,  he could also distort reality  with it, it all depends on mastery, the more mastery over it the better the usage and the stronger the shinobi using it.

It was necessary that Akaboshi did through water down explanation about space time for Sakuragi to easily lestn iit. The boy had seen an example during the earlier with aksboshi. To demonstrate agaim, Akaboshi would form the rift he used in his previous fight in his hand, sakuragi's were fixed on the chunin's hand, he watched as the rift formed rapidly. The Uzumaki would throw the rift at a distance tree. What devastating power, the tree was completely crushed. This boy's gaze fixed on the shattered tree and its' surrounding. The hyuuga would alter shift his attention back to the chunin. With so much explanation Akaboshi expected the white eyed to understand the theory by now. If he understood the theory behind space time art , all he needed to do was to apply this theory to his training to master the specialty. Akaboshi had done his part perfectly, he had both explained and shown how to use perform space time art. The chunin would give him a chance to try learn and perform the art as he leaned against a nearby tree.

It was sakuragi's turn to try out space time. by now, his blood had clotted and he could barely feel the pain of the wound. He would dress it when he gets home, he also had other things to do when he reach home but for now his training is more important than any other thing.  The hyuuga would wear a serious look, he didn't wanna mess up . He was sure akaboshi would be expecting much of him. The chunin asked him to give him a one hundred and twenty percent and sakuragi promised a two hundred percent concentration . No one want to waste to their energy training people who aren't ready to learn. sakuragi had shown all seriousness, he must impress akaboshi . The hyuuga genin would close his eyes , his back was facing akaboshi who was leaning against a nearby tree. His of course must be facing akaboshi to avoid hurting the chunin  in a bid to master the art of space time and to use the rift jusu. His eyes would remain close, he would slap his palm together forming the tiger hand seal , holding he hand seal slightly ahead of his face, he focus on the his chakra trying to combine every bit of explanation he heard so far. He tried to focus on the molding his chakra first  so he would be able to form the rift in his hand. He was still holding the hand seal. Hyuuga are known to have excellent chakra control, their clan techniques revolve around that theory. With the help of their byakuagan they could see chakra network and inject their chakra into almost anything. One would think that molding chakra to form a rift would be something easy for someone like sakuagi because he is an hyuuga. However, the way chakra are molded when using hyuuga clan techniques are quite different from the way they molded when trying to use form a rift; using a space time jutsu. Sakuragi have got to learn this as this was something he had never encountered before.  The hyuuga after a while would let go of the hand seal, his back still turned at Akaboshi at this time. The hyuuga would now turn to face the redhead, the white eyed  believe he had learn the art of space time , at least to some extent of being able to use space time justu. Sakuragi would stretch his palm  slightly forward , if he needed to throw the rift jutsu  he could just throw it into another direction, it seem easier  to learn this thing facing akaboshi than to look away from him. Sakuragi looked steadily at his own palm and would attempt to form the rift in his hand. The hyuuga boy began to yell as a mass of chakra began to form on his palm, the mass was as small as mustard seed. Not what Sakuragi or akaboshi wanted. The mass of chakra grew an inch in size before dispersing itself. The hyuuga lost control of the chakra manipulation, he put too little into it. On the other hand, putting too much into it could also caused it to disperse. Sakuragi's eyes would swiftly move to look at Akaboshi, he wanted to see how he would response to him failing the first time. Was he the critical type, surely Sakuragi dislikes being around critical people who only know how to nag and pick fault, he didn't know much yet about akaboshi but it didn't seem like he was one of those critical folks. Though, he knew the redhead wasn't pleased with his failure, spiky haired would give no word. He had fail this very first time, he must be careful not to fail again.


The hyuuga would again began to form the mass of rift in his hand, this one was quite bigger than the previous one. Sakuragi noted Sakuragi's expression while he formed the rift into his hand. This rift that Sakuragi was forming right
now isn't as big as the one Akaboshi formed during their earlierfight , this one was quite smaller than the one akaboshi used, Sakuragi couldn't figure out what the problem was. Suddenly , the rift began to consecutively shrink and grow in size. What the hell could be going on? Sakuragi looked at the eyes of the chunin expecting him to say something, whether or not the redhead would say a word  he was not sure, the bottom line is he must not fail this time.  The  white eyed fixed his gaze steadily on the rift misbehaving in his and, he tried everything he knew , it didn't work. Suddenly the rift disappeared, was he using too little chakra or was he using too much, he wasn't sure but he was sure Akaboshi would tell him why the rift wouldn't form perfectly in his hand. Too little chakra or too much chakra would cause chakra imbalance disrupting the flow and formation of the jutsu. The chakra must be precise.  Perhaps the redhead had similar issues when trying to learn the jutsu. sakuragi was sure he would learn this jutsu today, he have to , No procrastination, if he didn't give up he was sure he would ,aster it. Of course the brown skin of hoshigakure never gives up. It was a beautiful thing that he even had someone like akaboshi teaching him the jutsu. Learning something that like alone would be very difficult. Akaboshi made everything easier.


Sakuragi would attempt to form the rift again on his palm. he has to do it this time to impress Akaboshi, to show that him that he was serious and focus and to show he was not lying when he said he would give him a two hundred percent  concentration to the learning of the jutsu. It was only a matter of time before the white eyed of hoshigakure masters this jutsu perfectly .  The boy would begin to focus on the chakra on his hand again forming a mass of rift , it started as a size of the mustard seed and grew in size. It appears the hyuuga had mastery the technique. this one was the exact same size as the one akaboshi used during their fight. Exact size and shape, not distorted like the previous ones he had been creating, Akaboshi would be greatly impressed. A bright smile of " I did it" would appear on the boy's face. The boy would attempt to throw the rift, as he attempted to threw it,   the mass disperse again. At this point Sakuragi was almost fed up but had not giving up. He couldn't phantom hat exactly he was doing wrong. Something is wrong somewhere. It would be suicidal if he attempted to use this rift jutsu  on a real battle field and the jutsu disperse like, neither sakuragi nor akaboshi want that to happen. The brown skin have to do it again. There's no crime n failing, the crime there is failing and failing to get back up. He had failed and now it's seem like he was unserious but giving up is not even an option. It was not something he thought of for a second. The boy began to form the rift again in his palm. This time it was faster. The previous ones had form at a very ridiculous speed , a speed so slow that  if he was to use it that way in real combat it would give his enemy more than enough time to strike him down even before he get the chance to throw the jutsu.


Once the rift was formed formed, Sakuragi would immediately throw it at a distance tree toward another direction,  he watched as his own rift jutsu crushed everything on its' path. The spiky haired almost feel like he had gotten new super powers, the excitement of his success  thrilled his entire body with joy. One could see that he was very happy and excited . Of course, such should be expected from someone who had fail several time only to succeed at the die minute. Sakuragi felt like dancing around the field for his success but he would calm himself , he didn't want akaboshi to think he was being childish or had something wrong with him.

One success means nothing to Sakuragi really, the excitation was only for a while. He would attempt to use the jutsu one more time to be sure he had really really really mastered the jutsu. If it was sure that sakuragi had mastered the jutsu, he would be one step closer to full mastery of space time. He could always meet the redhead to teach him something new. If the only thing learned today was this rift jutsu, that would be more than enough. The hyuuga was already worn out as a result of the battle and the wound he inflicted by the kunai. It took a very strong will for Sakuragi to persist on not going to the hospital, on wanting to learn the art of space time nd the rift jutsu despite being inflicted with an injury. All that didn't seem to matter now, becoming stronger is the only thing that matter to him now. sakuragi would form the rift in his hand and once it was formed, the hyuuga boy would throw the rift at another tree. The power of the jutsu was so devastating. The boy believed he had mastered the technique , he also now had knowledge abut the art of space time jutsu.The boy would hug Akaboshi , thanking him for his effort in making him getting stronger. It all seem today was not a waste, the hyuuga was glad he crossed path with Akaboshi and their crossing path was not in vain. Th hyuuga could tell they would both bond greatly as time goes on. Sakuragi was still standing in front of Akaboshi awaiting his response before they, maybe finally part only for today.

Learned Space time spec and Canvum Nigrum

The ability to succeed at the first try was something only reserved to those with extraordinary talent, the prodigies of this world. For the more average amongst us mortals it would require hard work and dedication to reach our goals. There was nothing wrong with that, they were human after all. Mistakes, failure, errors, all was part of what we called mankind. No robots but beings of flesh and blood. But that was also where their strength would lay. Humans, although prone to make mistakes, will always learn from their faults and grow stronger as they improve. So in a way it was beneficial to mess up here and there, as long as they'd learn from it. 

It was no different for the spiky haired Hyuuga. Even though the young boy was giving it his all, it was to no avail. No matter how hard he tried, it didn't seem to work. Akaboshi already expected this to happen. The red haired Uzumaki would have been more surprised if Sakuragi was able to get it right the first time. But there was no reason to start panicking. Sometimes a clear mind would be the key to success, or so he would tell Sakuragi. "Focus. Think about what you have to do and simply follow those steps." True, it might be easier said than done but sometimes it was just that simple. 

After a couple of failures following each other it looked like he finally started to get the hang of it as he was able to create a rift similar to the one Akaboshi produced earlier during their spar. The spiky haired would form a rift which he then eventually threw at a tree nearby, completely obliterating it before jumping into the red haired Uzumaki's arms. "Alright, alright. You did well."

He failed the first time and then again and again and again till he got it. Persistency is the key. He thought Akaboshi would be mad at him , but I seems the  redhead would not do that.


Though it wasn't easy, the white eyed was glad that he had learn the rift jutsu. With the help of Akaboshi  he had gotten a step closer to full mastery over space time tech. Sakuragi could still see the damaged area by the rift. He would fix his gaze on the redhead . Perhaps the chunin thinks he was crazy for hugging him, but that was how excited the hyuuga was. Sakuragi heard the redhead utter some words to him. “ I couldn't have done it without you "  the spiky haired replied. It was no a matter of time before these two shinobis truly bond.

Now that the spiky haired Hyuuga had successfully completed his training and was able to learn both the art of Space and Time as well as the Cavum Nigrum technique, Akaboshi saw the time come for him to take his leave. It had been a long day and the red haired Uzumaki was in need of some rest. "Let's call it a day, shall we?" And with that the Chuunin turned back home, his back turned at Sakuragi while simply waving. "Til we meet again!" On his way home he noticed the sun had finally set. A beautiful day indeed.

Sakuragi could never wish for more, today was blessed with everything a blessed day should have. Firstly he had a spar with the redhead chunin and then lost the battle because of a silly mistake. Then the chunin became his teacher when Sakuragi was curious to learn the rift jutsu that Akaboshi used. Learning the art of space and time didn't come cheaply to sakuragi , Even though , Sakuragi had learn a space time jutsu , the same one the redhead used during their early fight, that is no proof that he had fully master the art. It would take years for him to do that depending on the effort put into it.


It was now time for the redhead to go. He was helpful to Sakuragi today, and the spiky haired was grateful. He waved goodbye as the chunin left the field.



Once the redhead was gone, the spiky haired thought of what next to do. His eyes caught the crushed trees  that were damaged by the  rift jutsu. The genin was already weakly physically, he wanted to train too, but his body would not allow him.  He figured out the best thing to do was to leave the field too. Training can always wait till another day. The genin left the field and arrived home safely. It was high time he sealed the body of the Yuki body he killed in his last mission before it's decay. The hyuuga would bring out a corpse scroll, weaved some series of hand seals and sealed the body into the scroll. He would keep the scroll in a big drawer , just in case he need the body some day.
