An Easy Morning

Cleaning Duty
A Bit Fishy
It was a beautiful, sunny morning over the Dreadnought as Kyoko arose from whatever bed she found herself in for the night. She’d take the time to meticulously brush her long purple hair and tend to her appearance as she began getting ready for the day. Getting dressed, she’d pull on a simple black cami, along with a fishnet, long-sleeve body suit. Around her waist, a pair of purple shorts that looked to be dyed denim stopped roughly halfway down her thigh. For shoes, she wore black boots that stopped just above her knees. Once satisfied with her appearance she’d make her way into one of the common areas.
For the past day or so, she had been trying to mingle with the others on board though she was a bit unsure of how they viewed her. She had been on plenty of boats before, primarily as a passenger, but still, she was able to help with a few minor tasks. The first thing on the list was to lend a hand in cleaning up the place, which was seemingly easy enough. However, quickly she found herself running into an issue, she had no idea where their supplies were. Unsure of who to ask, she began to wander the boat in hopes of finding a familiar face.
Should she find anyone who seemingly knew how things were run around her she’d approach them with a friendly demeanor. After offering a quick bow her face changed to a bit of an embarrassed expression as she began to speak up in a nervous tone.
”Good morning, I hope you slept well! I just have a quick question if you have a moment. Would you be willing to show me where the cleaning supplies are? I got put on deck mopping duty, but have no idea where to get the stuff to do it.”
She’d let out a bit of nervous laughter as she hoped they could guide her and maybe even assist her. Kyoko didn’t want to seem incompetent to her companions, but honestly, she kind of felt lost
