Jigga What, Jigga Who - Page 2 Empty Re: Jigga What, Jigga Who

Sat Jul 25, 2020 4:10 pm
As Kenshin placed his glace upon the coaster on the table, an audible thud was heard that was quickly overpowered by the boom in Kenshin’s voice. It clearly caught Guren’s attention as his eyes deflected from their abysmal stare into the floor back towards the welcoming Kazekage. Both his tone and message were very pleasant, dismissing any unease that Guren felt towards the surgery. It was reassuring that no complications would come from such a thing and that Kenshin was extremely experienced in this regard. With Kenshin’s admittance of being his own surgeon, Guren thought back on a message that his father once conveyed to him: “The best barber is his own barber.” Although this was a different profession, the same could be said. Operating on one’s self would likely be nerve-wracking and require a tremendous amount of discipline. And no anesthesia could be used. Incredible it was that Kenshin was able to do that.
Guren’s shoulders released the tension they previously held and his right hand firmly gripped the glass in front of him and brought it to his lip. He tilted it backwards and took a slight sip. Refreshing.

“I admire the reassurance, I feel a lot more ease with that statement..” Guren lightly interjected. The expression on Kenshin’s faced seem pleased with Guren’s comfort. Now Kenshin had begun to answer Guren’s next question: how much would a transplant run him.

Upon hearing the initial numbers, Guren began to slowly sink into the depths of his seat. 25,000? 20,000? Jeez was it a reminder of how broke he was. So much so that Guren lightly laughed about thinking of how much ryo he didn’t have. Perhaps 17,000 was what he held to his name. Not completely broke, but wealthy by no means. Kenshin’s next statement was again encouraging, as the discounts he was offering seemed to be quite generous. Apparently it was friends’ discount. Charming really, as Guren felt honored that the Kazekage felt good enough about Guren’s presence to offer such a thing. Additionally, the Seigan was quite a bargain. 10,000 ryo was quite affordable, and so he had full attention on pursuing that. He figured he would have to stack up his funds a bit more before he could go after the Senju DNA. A smile crept upon his face as he was filled with glee, seeing as he had some options to work with.

And finally Kenshin added the icing on the cake: Guren’s own DNA might be a bargaining chip on its own. This was comforting, although it presented a bit of a moral conflict. Should Guren give up the DNA of his clan so willingly? Truthfully the pursuit of power made this very tempting. Besides, he was likely the last remaining member of his clan. He would still make them proud, but just do it in his own way…

He cleared his throat as he sat his drank back down. “Thank you for all the information and offers. I deeply appreciate it as well as the gracious discounts. I think I would like to purchase the Seigan from you. That is a very tempting deal and I think I could put it to good use. How can we get this process began? Regarding my Ketsuryugan and DNA in itself, I would say we have access to pretty wondrous abilities.” Guren would then blink and his eyes would fully bear a set of crimson red matured Ketsuryugan. “With this, I can cast a multitude of genjutsu, ranging from the most tranquil of dreams to just absolutely disturbing illusions. Genjutsu is just the beginning though, as they additionally grant me a unique version of chakra vision that allows me to visualize the blood in bodies. I imagine this can be extremely fruitful for a man in your position, who must surround himself with blood as you are surrounded by surgeries and bloodlines alike. Additionally, the Chinoike are masters at blood release. I can be injured and use my own blood to my benefit. It’s funny, just when someone thinks they have the upper hand on me by causing a wound, I can turn it around and weaponize that wound to my own benefit.” Guren paused to think on if he should perform a demonstration for Kenshin. He reached his left hand downward and into his weapon pouch. “See” he instructed kindly as he retrieved a kunai, spun it around his left index finger, until its tip was pointed at his own palm. From here he would make a quick slice of his hand, ensuring it was only deep enough to draw blood. As his left hand began to bleed, his right hand rapid fired between numerous seals. Upon completion, the blood from his hand shifted in air to Guren’s left and an identical copy of Guren would form a few feet away. “This clone is a product of my chakra and my blood. There are many practical ways to use it, which can be the foundation for numerous techniques. Truthfully I am still learning my clan’s potential but I can ensure you it is an extremely powerful bloodline. If I were to truly showcase its potential to you right now, I would likely destroy this office and a sizeable portion of this hospital. Thus, we might want to save that for another time,” Guren said while joking slightly.

“Now uhh, the only issue with this clone being here is that if I dismiss him you will have a large bloody mess in your office. Let me know how you would like to deal with him, haha…I still need to find a way to reabsorb my own blood…” Guren let out as his mind drifted away from the focal point of the topic. Realizing he was diverting, he quickly refocused on Kenshin and offered a friendly smile. Perhaps the drink had been starting to affect him to the point that he felt a little spacey and giddy. It was a nice change of pace from his normally intense life.

“I hope that this offers a glimpse of my bloodline’s potential. If you require more information let me know….Now, I would just like to reconfirm my intention to purchase a Seigan from you. I currently only have just under 20,000 ryo to my name so I will have to hold off on the Senju DNA….Nevertheless, how soon could you pencil me in for a surgery?”

Jigga What, Jigga Who - Page 2 Empty Re: Jigga What, Jigga Who

Sun Jul 26, 2020 3:38 am
Kenshin would watch in fascination as the man activated his eyes, the sclera themselves becoming extremely bloodshot and red, not quite to the same level as his own eyes used to be, but it still looked quite painful. The irises themselves turned an extremely dark shade of red, while the pupils became bars like one would expect from a goat and became a vivid purple… all in all it was quite an interesting look, and certainly unlike any other Dojutsu that he had come across to date. As the man began to explain what it was able to do The Reaper would pay close attention, listening carefully to his explanation of the Genjutsu focus of the Dojutsu, as well as the somewhat unique form of vision that it granted the user… blood vision. Quite macabre but also very useful, as it would give the man a good idea of what someones internal organs looked like… it would, for example, allow Guren to see the blood being diverted to all of the hearts that he housed within his body. On top of that he gained access to a unique element… Blood Release, something that sounded extremely potent and useful to anyone… overall, this bloodline was sounding more and more enticing to him… and he was willing to give a lot in order to study the effects of it.

The Ragdoll would watch unperturbed as the man sliced his palm open and blood began to fall, simply watching closely as he flew through handseals with one hand, a rather useful skill, before his blood began to shift and morph until a clone was created… how very interesting, there was nowhere near enough blood spilt to fill a human body like that, which meant that the blood had to be able to multiply itself, and that in turn made this bloodline… a lot more enticing to a medical specialist such as he. When Guren mentioned the issue with dispelling it Kenshin would release a light chuckle.

“Simply have the clone lie down on one of the draining tables before dispelling, as the name implies they have built in drains and are used to remove all fluids from the corpses that come in. It doesn’t matter if there is a little spillage, I can easily clear that up.” The man would instruct and explain, a small smirk on his face as he spoke.

“Now… I will be able to perform the transplants now if you would like? And also, after the explanation you have given on your bloodline I would very much like the chance to properly study it and the benefits that it would give… I would be willing to give you both the Seigan you want and Senju DNA for 17,050 ryo, and of course you allowing me to keep the Ketsuryugan that I will be replacing, as well as the organ that I replace with the Senju.” With that said Kenshin would take another sip of his Awamori, draining what remained of the alcohol from his glass and placing it down on the coaster on his desk.

Jigga What, Jigga Who - Page 2 Empty Re: Jigga What, Jigga Who

Sun Jul 26, 2020 2:35 pm
Guren laughed lightly with Kenshin when he mentioned the potential of leaving a bloody mess. His instruction seemed clear enough, and so Guren would motion his clone over to one of the draining tables across the room. The clone would do so and prop himself up upon the table then lay down. Following this, Guren would perform a handseal to release the clone which would cause him to instantly dissolve into a pool of blood which would flow downward and to the drains. It was a cleverly designed tool.

“Thank you for that guidance,” Guren let out with a smile. “I would show you more and a demonstration of the Ketsuryugan, but I don’t think that attempting to cast a genjutsu on you would be all that appropriate. I guess you’ll have to just take my word for it.”

Following this short and friendly statement, Guren inquired about the timing of when a surgery could be scheduled. He was not expecting the response to be so soon though. It was exciting. Who would have known that the surgery could be done right now. Additionally the price had come down significantly, so much so that Guren would be using his entire savings on it. It would be risky, but perhaps it would be worth it. There was only one way to find out.

“Wow…I don’t know what to say, that’s very generous of you. Well,” he said while digging into his pocket and pulling out his wallet. From here he gripped all of the bills inside and two coins. Once retrieved, he returned his wallet to his pocket and extended his arm holding the money towards Kenshin. “17050 Ryo it is. I am ready whenever you are. Please feel free to consult me in your studies of the Ketsuryugan, as I may be able to assist. Additionally there are likely many things for me to learn in the process….If it ever comes to you selling it, please let me know before you intend to do so. I would like to know who would be receiving my other eye.” Guren said while awaiting further instruction from Kenshin.

He would wait for him to accept the money and continue to offer him further instruction for how he should proceed to begin the surgery. He was putting a lot of trust and faith into Kenshin, but Kenshin was also investing in Guren by offering the bloodline transplants at such a discounted rate. He wouldn’t waste the opportunity.

Jigga What, Jigga Who - Page 2 Empty Re: Jigga What, Jigga Who

Mon Aug 03, 2020 9:05 pm
Kenshin was rather pleased to learn that Guren had the money necessary for the transplants on hand, and was also rather pleased to learn that Guren actually seemed to realise how large the discount itself was. The Ragdoll would smile and nod at the man's offer to consult him in his studies of the bloodline, and he had to admit such an offer was likely one he would take him up on in the future, as study could only tell so much… this was a man who had possessed the bloodlines for his entire life, so of course it made sense that he would be able to say a lot more about it than a simple study would be able to tell. The Reaper would take the money and listen to Gurens request, before lightly chuckling.

“I will not be selling that Ketsuryugan, I like being able to have at least one of everything in case I ever want to gain some more first hand experience in using it, as I do tend to swap out bloodlines whenever I find one that is useful enough. The only exceptions are bloodlines that I am already utilising.” The half-blood Uzumaki would explain, and it was the truth. He swapped out his bloodlines whenever he found one that was more useful than one he was using already, much like how he had swapped out his Uzumaki Bloodline for the Uchiha Bloodline months prior, and when he had replaced his Siegan with the Byakugan before that.

“Now, this will be both quick and painless, just lie down on one of the draining tables and remove your shirt.” Kenshin would say simply, walking to another of the tables and retrieving the scroll that housed the corpse storage scroll of Yoshou Senju, unfurling the parchment and unsealing the corpse itself. Kenshin would simply retrieve a scalpel and make a small incision on the corpses right side, before placing his palm above it and sending his threads into the opening, where they would proceed to sever the kidney and pull it into his waiting palm. He would place the kidney down on the table and retrieve the jar that housed the level 1 Seigan from his Storage displacement, the inactive eye suspended in a jar of preserving fluid.

With both the kidney and the eye Kenshin would walk over to the table Guren decided to lie down on, and place both the jar and the kidney itself down. With a few short handseals The Reapers body was coated in chakra, and all the blood on his hands would be removed and cleansed by the chakra. With that done The Ragdoll would form the hand seals needed to perform the Chakra Anaesthetic technique, and as blue ‘flames’ coated his fingers he would gently place them in the centre of Gurens chest, where they would sink 1 inch in and allow the ‘flames’ to enter his body. The man would feel absolutely no pain at this act, and Kenshin would gently tap the man on the chest, the numbness apparent since he would be able to feel absolutely nothing.

“The technique I just used is a basic Medical Ninjutsu that will numb your nerves for a brief period, allowing me to perform both surgeries with you awake.” The Reaper would explain with both calmness and ease, before simply asking which eye he would prefer the Seigan to replace, and placing his palm above that eye. With that his threads would carefully move under and over his eyes, going around the organ and carefully severing the optic nerve and pulling it free from the mans skull as they left his body. Without missing a beat Kenshin would use his other hand to open the preservation jar and carefully drop the Ketsuryugan within.

“It will be easier for me to remove the eye first, and then place the new eye once I remove and replace the kidney. I possess a technique that will allow me to heal everything in your body at once, saving us time.” The Kazekage would explain with a smile, retrieving a clean scalpel and using it to create a 7 inch incision just above his hip on the right side of his body. With that done he would place his right palm over the incision and again send his threads into the body of the man, severing his kidney and pulling it out of his body. With that done Kenshin would take hold of both the kidney of Yoshou, and the eye of Akihiko, one in each hand, and placed each above where they needed to go. With his threads it was a very simple matter to insert each into his body and hold the everything in place, so with that done Kenshin would activate his Mystical Palm Aura and carefully heal everything, having his threads withdraw from his body as he healed everything around them, and then healing the light holes left on his hip from the threads themselves.

“And there you have it, the surgery is over and everything appears to be a success. Now, you should give your body some time to truly adjust to the new DNA and the new eye, so do not be alarmed if they do not activate for a few days, but as always you are welcome to come to me if you have any concerns.” The Kazekage would explain with another light smile, more than happy to see Guren again in the future. He was both bright and interesting to talk to, and he seemed to possess a decent amount of experience and power… all in all the man would definitely be a boon to Suna should he choose to stay. Wordlessly he would hand the man a clean towel that he had off to the side, allowing him to clean off any blood left on his person

“Now tell me, Is there anything else I can help you with? I assure you it won’t be an issue if you need anything”

Jigga What, Jigga Who - Page 2 Empty Re: Jigga What, Jigga Who

Thu Aug 06, 2020 8:17 am
As the ryo left Guren's hands, he could feel the excitement surge within his body beginning from his toes and ascending towards his head. He couldn't help but feel giddy inside. Was this simply because of the benefits he would gain from a transplant? No it was deeper than that. Instead this was a product of Guren's own curiosity and all of the potential that such an experiment had to teach him more information. Like Kenshin, he was a sucker for science, discoveries, and knowledge. These things were truly considered power to Guren, and Kenshin's deep understanding of bloodlines would showcase himself as quite the intellect. Quite fitting for one who bore the role of Kazekage.

It warmed Guren's heart when he heard the Ketsuryugan would not be sold. Truthfully there were not many who would understand or gain all of its benefits, as Guren was a wielder for his entire life and still didn't know its full potential. But nevertheless he consistently sought out more. Smiling he let out, "Well should you implant it in yourself let me know. We can hone our skills together." Upon the friendly exchange of words, Kenshin motioned and instructed Guren to lie down upon the draining table adjacent to the one his clone previously resided on. Guren stood up and simultaneously slid his hooded trench coat off of his arms, which lightly fell upon the chair he had been sitting in. Following this he lifted his arms and removed his training shirt from his body, which immediately revealed a muscular physique that was riddled with few scars. Not nearly as much as what someone like Kenshin might have. Following this he tossed his shirt onto the chair, made his way over and up onto the draining tables, then laid down.

Guren watched both eerily and in awe as Kenshin prepared for the surgery. His instruments of incision and harvested organs sat still on the table, all of which appeared to be in pristine condition. It would seem as if Kenshin kept his assets in tip top shape. Guren was able to see the new Seigan eye, but was unsure of what the other organ was. No matter though, Kenshin ensured him that everything would be okay. And that would be true even as he spoke about and performed his numbing jutsu onto Guren, who would feel nothing from this point on. "It's all in your hands, I trust you," Guren uttered lightly as Kenshin operated. He continued to speak while he worked, truly showing his comfort level with this operation. It was a testament to his experience and proficiency with medical ninjutsu. As Kenshin operated, Guren speculated. He would watch as he utilized strange tendrils which extended and retracted from his body to remove and reattach organs from Guren's body. As the eye was removed, Guren's vision went completely black in his other as well. It must have been a natural response to such an operation. Shock, most likely. Although he didn't fall unconscious, it would seem as if the world had just blacked out for a second. Yet all of this would return, once the Seigan was replaced in his empty socket. When this would happen, the surgery was completely over with.

Kenshin's completion speech was both reassuring and welcoming, as Guren summoned the strength in his body to sit himself up. As he did the blood in his body would rush to his head, and he would feel a bit dizzy. Again, a natural side effect of undergoing such a massive medical change. As he regained his composure, he looked up at Kenshin with his new eyes and offered a confident smile. "Thank you Lord Kazekage...Admittedly I feel a tad woozy right now, but my body will recover quickly. I am used to blood loss, you know?" he laughed lightly while grabbing the towel from Kenshin and wiping off some of the excess blood from his body, although there wasn't much. Kenshin was a master at his craft.

Guren nodded towards Kenshin's question. "Well now that you mention it, I have two questions. The first being that I would like to become a medical specialist as well eventually. I am not sure if you would be able to shed some light on me further down the line, but your abilities are extraordinaire...The second being, I think how much hospitality you have shown me since being here has been tremendous. More than I had received even in all my time in Kumogakure. So with that, I would like to revisit the potential of me becoming a shinobi of Sunagakure. I think we would both agree that with my abilities and access to these bloodlines I can be an asset. What do you think?"

Jigga What, Jigga Who - Page 2 Empty Re: Jigga What, Jigga Who

Fri Aug 07, 2020 10:11 am
Kenshin would listen as Guren spoke, a small smile forming on his face as the man expressed his interest in the field of Medical Ninjutsu, and lightly bowing his head to the other man in thanks as he complimented his abilities… he, of course, knew that his skill in Medical Ninjutsu was something far beyond what was normally seen. He also knew that, at this point, he was one of the most skilled Medical Ninjutsu specialists in the nations and he took great pride in that fact… he was, after-all, able to both create life from nothingness and bring people back from death… and to think, he wasn’t even twenty years old yet… it was always a bit surreal to realise that this time 5 years ago he had been a powerless whelp… and now he was one of the most powerful and feared figures in the nations, at the helm of one of the greatest rising world powers. It was then that the man would confess his desire to become a shinobi of Sunagakure, something that made The Ragdoll smile widely, the man was indeed correct in his assumption that someone of his skill-set and abilities was desired by Kenshin, but above all of that… Guren possessed a mind that The Kazekage admired, and an agreeable personality, and in the end that was what mattered most to him. Power and bloodlines were things he could gift those who worked with him… but finding someone with a mindset like Gurens, and a sense of loyalty like that, was much rarer and harder to cultivate.

“I won’t lie, I would be thrilled if you wished to join my forces… but perhaps not for the reasons you may suspect. You see, both your power and your bloodline are things that I would value quite a bit… but in the end I can give bloodlines and cultivate power quite easily… but on the other hand, what is not quite to easy to cultivate, is a good head. You, Guren, have an extremely good head on your shoulders, you are smart and you actually think your actions through, even at the offer of power you didn’t hesitate to ask questions to make sure what I was offering was legitimate, you actually wanted to know how the process worked… something that I wish I could say was common. Overall, you are quite wise and I find I can actually enjoy talking to you… because unlike many, you put that brain of yours to use.” The Reaper would explain, trying to make certain Guren knew that Kenshin wanted him to join not for his powers, but for his mind and his personality. The silver eyed menace would make his way over to his desk and open the second drawer down on the right side of the desk, revealing a plethora of neatly folded Headbands bearing the crest of New Sunagakure, each baring a different shade of fabric for the personal preference of those that chose to join

“Now, if you would indeed like to join my forces then simply take one of these headbands, place it on your body wherever you feel most comfortable wearing it, and swear an oath of loyalty to Sunagakure. It’s rather informal all things considered, but after that is done I’ll fill out all the necessary paperwork and get it finalised.” The Kazekage would explain, taking a step to the side and gesturing towards the drawer of Headbands for Guren to examine. All in all, him being the Kazekage made this quite a bit easier for the both of them.

Jigga What, Jigga Who - Page 2 Empty Re: Jigga What, Jigga Who

Sat Aug 08, 2020 9:07 am
As Guren disclosed his intentions of joining Sunagakure, a sudden urge of relief came across him. He felt as if he was giving into his desires rather than trying to force himself on a path of isolation and solitude. Perhaps this decision would be a turning point in his life, whereas he finally found a place he might mesh with. From the people he met to the things that he had done, all of which were positive experiences. Even his interactions with Kenshin the Kazekage was filled with hospitality in the information exchange, transplants, and simple hospitality. Guren had a gut feeling that this could be the beginning of something new.

What was even more comforting was the reason in which Kenshin wanted to enlist Guren services. He didn't seem to think of him as just a tool or a body, but instead saw Guren for what he toted to be his best trait: his mind. In no sense could Guren be considered as a conceited individual, but at the same time he was very well aware of his capability, strengths, and weaknesses. The fact that Kenshin understood Guren's personality and mentality from this single encounter was indeed a testament to Kenshin's level of perception. However it also spoke volumes about the way in which Guren carried himself. He had a very logical, curious, and detail oriented mind. It was good that Kenshin recognized this.

When Kenshin presented the headbands, Guren would walk forward and observe each one. There were quite a few choices, however the one that stood out the most to him was the one that matched his aura: a burgundy fabric, underneath the metal plate which was etched with the slick symbol of Sunagakure. Guren gripped the headband with his right hand, turned to face Kenshin, and gave him a nod in confirmation. "I appreciate all that you have done for me in the short time we have known each other. I will wear do all that I can to serve Sunagakure, and I pledge my allegiance to your village."

Upon finishing his statement, Guren tied the headband around his forehead and in that process disestablished his relationship with Kumogakure and looked forward to his new future. "I trust that as I acclimate myself within the village, you will find the best place to utilize my abilities. For now, I don't wish to take up any more of your time than I already have....But before I go, what rank will I be bestowed? I realize I am new to your village, but where I came from I was a Chuunin."

Jigga What, Jigga Who - Page 2 Empty Re: Jigga What, Jigga Who

Sat Aug 08, 2020 7:09 pm
Kenshin would give a genuine smile as Guren pledged himself to Sunagakure before placing his new Headband upon his forehead and tying it in place, the material chosen a nice burgundy colour.

“Congratulations Guren, you are now a Chunin of Sunagakure. This rank, and just being a shinobi for the village in general comes with a few very nice perks, with one of those perks being free housing. Head to The Spire and enter the apartment building to the right of The Grove and speak to the man in the reception area, Ban. Tell him that I sent you and he will have your new room set-up. The apartments are nothing luxurious, but they are not small and they come with all of the essentials already waiting, a refrigerator, a bed and bedding, a dining room table and some chairs. Anything else you want for the apartment will need to be purchased by you, just keep in mind that active shinobi of the village are discounted by most of the village's stores.” The Reaper would explain proudly, he did his best to ensure that those who served him and both defended Sunagakure and fought for its well being were rewarded for their actions, the last thing he ever wanted was a situation like Hoshigakure… where the shinobi were all but treated as second class citizens despite all of their suffering on the behalf of an ungrateful village. In fact… he would go so far as to say that he would NEVER allow a situation like that to take root.

“Now, if that is all I suggest you go and speak to Ban, the process doesn’t take that long all things considered but the sooner you do it the better.” The Ragdoll would then say with a small smile.

All in all… today had been a very good day.

Jigga What, Jigga Who - Page 2 Empty Re: Jigga What, Jigga Who

Guren listened attentively to the instruction of his new Kage. It would seem as if his housing dilemma was solved, as now he had an apartment of his own. That would likely be his first stop upon exiting the hospital. Up until this point, Guren had been staying in hotels both inside and outside of Sunagakure for housing. Naturally this was quite an expensive life choice, as the rates were daily compared to the monthly apartment rent. Yet from the sounds of it, it would seem as if housing was free for Sunagakure shinobi. Additionally there were numerous discounts within the village towards Sunagakure shinobi. Almost immediately all of his financial burdens were solved. Well, except for the fact that he had cleaned out his wallet just seconds ago. But ryo was easy to obtain, and since he was now a village shinobi it should be at an accelerated pace.

When Kenshin finished his instruction Guren nodded and let out a, "Once again, thank you. I'll serve the village well, and I'll immediately head over to speak with Ban." Following this, Guren made his way to exit Kenshin's office. Before leaving he turned around and offered a light smile, "Until next time," then proceeded to exit the room. As he walked down the hallway back towards the receptionist desk, he waved at Mia on his way out of the hospital. She easily noticed his shiny new headband, to which she offered a thumbs up. Now it was time for him to secure his apartment and work on awakening these newly installed bloodlines.
