The Academy Again!?! (Keina, 2 spots)

Soma Shin headed with Masashi and this other shinobi while Keina was going to go ahead of them to attack from behind. They were supposed to be the distractions. They headed to the Academy and he ran as fast as he could. He was not the fastest person in the world but he tried to keep up with the other shinobi. He was running down the street trying to avoid the civilians in the streets. He would dodge left and right but this was slowing him down he could go up and try to jump over and building to building or go under and use his technique. He decided to go up with the other shinobi in order to conserve his energy. When they finally landed at the Academy doors, he was not sure what to do. He would ponder in his head what would get the most attention from the missing ninja. He decides that in order to do the least amount of damage to the academy he would do the mud technique then quickly creates a golem out of it. Soma Shin does his hand signs and a humanoid form except bigger and no mouth forms out of the rock and earth around him. His eyes form out of a green crystal that Soma Shin is used to seeing but he has never seen a big piece of his chakra form. ”I am just going to send in my golem and wait here further in back and watch. Let me know if you need anything.

He communicates to the golem that he should go into the classroom with the missing ninja but make sure not to hurt the hostages. The golem runs into the Academy assuming the other two shinobi either follow or throw the gas. The golem storms through the hallway until they get to the classroom. The golem goes in and will attempt to hit one of the two missing ninja. He hits one on the head while Keina who already took one of the ninja out. He punches the ninja. The strength of the golem plus the mass of his fist knocks the ninja out. Soma shin then tells the golem to get between the last ninja and the hostages most of whom were cowering in the corner to make sure the missing ninja does not throw a weapon or anything. The golems new task was just to protect the hostages at all cost. The golem will only move to protect the hostages from a direct attack or a thrown weapon. As long as it is visible he will block or try to absorb it. The gas should not affect the golem in anyways.

Soma shin will try to avoid any gas being thrown. He will stay out of the room and leave the rest of the missing ninja to the older shinobi. Soma Shin’s main goal now is just to protect these hostages and make sure they make it out ok. He will use the golem to protect or attack anyone missing ninja or enemy who gets close to the hostages in the corner. He will if he has to go into the room and try to help protect with hand to hand combat but he would rather have the golem take care of it. He will really only enter the room if the golem gets destroyed. He will then shout ”I think the golem took care of one of the missing ninja I do not know how many are left!”

After everyone shared their thoughts the four of them came to some sort of agreement on how to handle the hostage situation. While the three men would try and cause a distraction the kunoichi would be taking out the rogue ninja who infiltrated and took over the academy. Considering the amount of time they had, which wasn't much to begin with, it was the best they could come up with. Now that they had decided on a course of action it was time for them to move out. The red haired Uzumaki followed behind the two other man while the woman began making her way to enter the Academy and hopefully take out as many rogues as possible.

Taking into account he was accompanied by a young kid and a medical ninja, Akaboshi figured it would be best if he were to enter the building first. By the time they had arrived at their destination the redhead figured Keina had already made her move, but one could never be too careful. For some reason it was the youngest of them all, the genin Soma Shin who acted first. Perhaps it was the adrenaline or the will to prove himself to his sensei, either way the red haired Uzumaki witnessed how the boy created what looked to be an Earth Golem. Not exactly the prime example of stealth but they planned to draw the rogues' attention anyway and such a large creature would surely do the trick.

Since only the golem went in Akaboshi saw no reason to enter the building as well and would wait til he received an update on what was happening. Regardless of where he was standing he was still able to hear Keina's call for the gas. Taking a couple of steps back he would then wait after Masashi would flood the space with knockout gas.

It didn’t take very long…for Misaki to bust out his Earth Golem…again. Masashi began to wonder if that was his pupil’s response to any situation, since he had used the same jutsu twice now in a mission. Granted, it made more sense the first time. This time, the Uzumaki Chuunin wasn’t sure that an 8-meter tall golem of earth and stone was the right way to go here. ‘I’ll need to have a talk with him later.’ Masashi thought to himself with a small sigh. ‘Oh well, so much for subtle.’

“Alright you two” he would say to Misaki and the red-haired shinobi with him, "primary concern is taking the targets alive, and casualties among academy personal are to be brought to me so that we can make sure they don’t die.” Luckily for him, as soon as he finished speaking, he heard Keina’s voice ring out. Time for him to make his move. Moving at his max possible speed towards the windows of the class, where the hostages were held, Masashi would clap his hands. Doing so activates a technique he had developed that drew on his Uzumaki heritage; To those observing, the Uzumaki Clan insignia appears on the palm of both hands, and center of the the Uzumaki Genin’s forehead. They are black in color.

In addition to that, he built up chakra in his body and released a plume of dark purple mist out of his mouth, directly into the face of a back-pedaling shinobi. This was not a normal poison mist; Masashi had modified the mist to include a compound of his own creation. It would not kill anyone that inhaled the gas, simply render them unconscious. Ideal for this situation because they wanted the shinobi alive, and it didn’t matter if hostages were affected, because the worst that would happen is they would be knocked out.

On top of that, Masashi’s hands would glow blue as he closed the distance with the closest shinobi. He ducked under a kunai slash, and worked his way behind the shinobi, and used his arms to trap their arms and drain their chakra away. He could immediately feel his adversary going limp, so the Uzumaki Chuunin laid them on the ground, and proceeded to prowl the mist looking for anyone else that was still standing.

As soon as he was sure that the hostiles were dealt with, he dissipated the mist, stopped his chakra absorption, and immediately started checking the hostages for casualties.

Soma shin tried to stay out of the jounins and Masashi’s way. He tried to use his golem to shield the hostages as much as possible. As it towered over the hostages and protected as many as possible. He was instructed to use his body to protect them. As gas filled the room around the golem and the hostage takers started to go down. The hostage takers just sort of melted down with the gas that was filling the room. It was obvious that this was a medical technique mixed with some sort of nerve agent or paralysis. Soma Shin tried to look into the room but all he could see was the gas. He thought what would be the fastest way to get hostages.

He had the golem pick up as many as possible including Keina. The golem was then instructed to rush over and deliver all the hostages and eventually hostage takers to Masashi. The golem who could pick up a lot of the children safely at one time made a few trips in and out of the school dropping the victims gently to Masashi and the other medical ninja who had shown up by then. After this was all done and things started to calm down, he went up to Masashi and said “I may just head home we can train another day if that is ok? I will let you get back to work and turn in a report tomorrow if that works? Have a good afternoon sensei.”

After a few moments he went into the medical tent to see if Keina was alright. He sees her and if she is awake he will go up to her and ask “How are you just came to check to make sure you alright?” He will wait for a response or if she is still sleeping he will go try to find the other jounin who helped and say “thank you sir I am not sure I caught your name? I am Soma Shin Misaki, thank you for your help today.” He will bow politely and wait for a response.

Akaboshi witnessed how the other Chuunin was preparing to take action and stepped back to make room and to avoid getting in the way. Just like the red haired Uzumaki noticed Keina's call, so did he. Storming into the building, a sign for Akaboshi to follow behind, the two of them were making their way through. Soon a purple mist filled the room, caused by the man running in front of him, successfully knocking out one of the rogue ninjas before taking care of another. Considering the harmless effect of the mist, the hostages were safely taken out as well. For now the redhead figured his two companions would take care of the unconscious and innocent people, which is why he grabbed the rogues and carried them outside where they would soon be delivered and brought to prison for their crimes.

Once everyone was safe outside he decided to check on the rest of them since he got news that Keina fell unconscious as well. As the kunoichi was running wild she probably got caught up in the mist, but luckily for her as well as the other hostages it was a harmless substance. While he was waiting the young genin came up to him and inttroduced himself as Soma Shin Misaki. "Nice to meet you kid, you did well today. Just be careful when to use that golem of yours. And oh, my name is Akaboshi Uzumaki." The redhead then simply waited to receive an update on the situation.

When the proverbial dust cleared, it looked like just about everyone that was in the classroom was out cold. That was the plan, because his nerve agent would clear out of everyone’s bloodstream in a little while, and at that point, all of the rogue ninja would be in custody. ‘I think we can call this crisis contained.’ Masashi thought to himself. While his mist cleared, Soma and the other shinobi, Akaboshi was the name he heard, rounded up the rogue ninja and ensured that they were secured by other village security forces to be interrogated later.

His next priority was to triage any potential injuries; just because people weren’t moving because they were unconscious didn’t mean that they were all safe. Masashi checked every one that was in the room starting with those that were closest to one of the hostage-takers as they were the most likely to get injured. In fact there was a couple injuries that had Masashi not checked them, they would likely be dead. He treated them immediately to prevent permanent damage, that would have been a way to go; taken out before your shinobi career could even begin. With the emergency cases taken care of, he would continue his triage, working from any severe injuries to minor ones. There wasn’t many, but there was enough to keep him busy for at least ten minutes.

Support was finally showing up at that point; they were getting people out of the classroom and into the open, helping them to wake up, and taking care of anything that Masashi may have missed. Once the classroom was empty, Masashi would make his way over to the others. “Good job.” He said to them. "I don’t know about you guys, but I think we could all use a rest after that.” There would be time to fill in the mission report later, so with a smile and a wave, Masashi would take his leave of the group, heading back to his family home by the Water Gardens. He’d used a lot of Chakra.

Soma shin said his goodbyes to the rest of the shinobi that were there helping. He went and checked on Masashi again but saw he was busy. He then went home and finished his reports then he slept.
