Childish Ambitious (IK)(NK)

Shin woke up extremely early; just at the break of dawn. He hopped out of bed, almost fully dressed, running down the stairs of his apartment building. As he quickly stepped down the steps, he was braiding his comically long hair with a hair tie in his mouth. After finishing braiding his hair together, he quickly put on his shinobi headband. However, not paying attention, Shin cut the corner from his apartment to the side street to quickly and knocked into an elderly lady. Shocked, the lady stumbles back, waving her arms around to catch herself. It wouldn't be enough, however. The poor elderly woman would've hit the ground on her back if it weren't for Shin's swiftly catching her fall in his arms. As he placed her on the ground, she quickly turned on the boy with an angry expression. "What's your hurry, young man?!" Shin bowed very low the ground. "I'm so sorry, madame! Ito's candy emporium is back up and I was in a rest..." The woman's expression quickly changed to understanding. "Oh! Of course! You better hurry." Shin rose back up and continued his quest. The old woman knew that the store was extremely important to not keep him long.

 Ito's Candy Emporium was a candy store that sold the most amazing sweets. From chocolates to hard candy, they had everything. It was run by the very friendly Mr Ito that made the candy himself years ago when Shin was much younger. He was always nice to all his customers and sometimes would give out free candy. To the local kids, like Shin and his friends, he was like a god to them. The shop was even down the street from the academy where Shin trained for some time. Unfortunately, the Candy shop went down for quite some time when he left to go to Konoha during the whole surge of corruption and surge violence with the lack of leadership. However, a week ago, posters were hung around town about his store reopening. Once Shin knew about it, he knew that he had to be the first in line to get to the Emporium. The whole village seemed to up about it, especially the younger citizens. 

Shin arrived at the store's street to find a line from the entrance of the store to the end of the street. It was about 50 people long. Shin was irritated that people had the same thought as him about waking up with the sun. The Store wasn't even open yet, it wasn't supposed to open for another hour. Shin was about to call it quits and give up on getting some of the sweetest candy known to man until he remembered his younger days of heading to the store after a lesson at the academy. He would use the money that his parents gave him to buy as much candy as he could. Then when he got home, he would stuff his face full of candy where it would make him feel sick for a week. The nostalgia of the sweetness was enough for the Chunin to get to the back of the line.

Today was the big day, Yuurei was up bright and early as he had decided to get some of Ito’s Candy. This was indeed a place he had been to a few times as a child when his parents came to Sunagakure, and now that he had lived in these parts, he was happy to hear that it was reopening. The young boy loved candy so much, and when he heard about the new shop opening up, he couldn’t wait to try what was called the best candy in all of Sunagakure. His excitement had brought him to be the first one up inside of his home as he had gotten ready. The one thing he had been condition to do was to make sure that he brought everything with him that he needed for the day. That meant his ninja equipment as it was part of his life now.

Yuurei’s headband was on his right arm as he had his goggles on top of his head and his bandana on his left arm. The breakfast was something light as his mother was always up before anybody in the house. He was pretty sure this was going to happen and woke up before he could. Anyways he was ready to leave, and the young boy would leave his house before he could see his father. The Genin had found himself outside and ready to get to the store before anybody else. He's traveled through the village was the same, he would move from the rooftops through anything as he didn’t like to navigate through the people of the village.

He looked off in a direction as he could see that the moon was still out as it was fading away due to the sunlight. He knew that it was still there, and he had admired its beauty for a bit before remembering that he needed to be at Ito’s Candy Emporium before anybody else. His arrival was saddened when he saw the number of people that were waiting in line for the store to open. It was amazing to see this, and he would land on the ground and off the roof as he would start walking towards the line in front of him.

His eyes looked at the number of people as he could estimate about fifty people were in front of him. There was one more, but he saw the person leaving the line for a quick second. Yuurei would take his spot in an instant, only to see the guy come back as if he had thought about something. The Genin would giggle a bit as he could see that he was also a village ninja.

“I see you thought of something that, brought you back to the line. I guess Ito’s candy does have a way of making people wait for a taste.” He said this with a huge smile on his face to Shin

“Just the thought of buying the candy that from here is making my mouth watery. I love trying every candy I can get my hand on.” He said as he made sure to leave space for candy.

He was ready to buy what he could, eat what he could, and save some for another time for another day.
