Part Of Your World

It had been sometime since the Jugo had last seen civilization but it was about time that she came to terms with it. The village's name was Hoshigakure or something akin and it would be seemingly the best choice for her, though she wondered what kind of people truly existed there. Full of suspicion and doubts, Harley would make her way forward towards the gates of the village having long since started down the pathway that would bring her there. Supposedly this place was known for it's tolerance, freedom of beliefs, and using words to display ones power. This type of system was not seen by the girl before so while she was distrustful, she was eager to see exactly what would await her inside and held some glimmer of hope that she could find a place to call home. 

Dressed in a simple raven black leather vest with white wolf's fur underneath as well as durable leggings the shinobi attempted to look somewhat presentable to the village she wanted to live within. She also wore a white, silken undershirt simply to repel the moisture from her as well. Luckily it was not too hot on that day or her long dark hair with the ensemble would prove too much and have her overheat before the process even started. Her thin eyebrows and pale eyes would display her curiosity as they darted around taking in the girl's surroundings.

Regardless thanks to her clans curse she would have to do this rather quickly so she could vent the chakra build up through use of a jutsu in secret else she turn into a raging monster. The thought alone made her shudder as she waited in line at the capital for entrance and enrollment as a shinobi. Hopefully she could find a way to shake free the shackles her family had placed upon her, even if her blood would still be cursed. Still even having a place for stability and opportunities to learn were more than she could ask for and what prompted her to attempt to come here in the first place. 

That and you couldn't really see the reactions of other people in the wild, and Harley wanted to see how people that grew up in a softer places than hers would react to everyday situations. Perhaps she would find people that she actually enjoyed, though that seemed to be the highest hope of them all. Instead she simply set the bar for finding people that would entertain her.

Oh, it seemed she was next in line...

The village gates seemed to be busy at this hour and day. Tsubaki, who was working the gate entrance as the shinobi in charge, didn't know if it was just conscience or something was secretly being hosted by Hoshi. Her job wasn't to worry about that, she was just supposed to report suspicious activity and document everyone for the safety of the village. 

Tsubaki was dress in her semi-casual shinobi wear, which included her chunin flak, black leggings, and wore her hair up instead of wearing it down like she normally did. She looked like the other shinobi on the gates. It was so that people would be confused about her status and to either not be afraid to ask her a question or be very afraid to confront her. It all depended on their background. 

After filing through some farmers and merchants from the surrounding areas that were in the village to sell, a woman approached the gates. She stood out because of her black leather vest over some wolf fur. It wasn't totally suspicious but stood out from the farmers with raggedy and dirtied clothes. Tsubaki would block her entrance to ask her a couple of questions, as was routine. "Hello, My name is Tsubaki Senju. I'm going to ask you for your name and reasoning for visiting."

Well she had been sectioned off, it seemed not everyone got questioned but Harley Jugo thought on the bright side and subconsciously had assumed the others were common visitors due to how they looked like farmers or merchants for the most part. "Hello Miss Senju" after this the girl would bow before continuing in her melodic tone, "My name is Harley Jugo, and I actually wish to enlist in the village. While I am now an orphan my parents taught me a bit in the ways of ninjutsu so I was hoping I could find a place within the community here. While  I can fill out whatever paperwork is required here, I have traveled a long way, if my affairs are in order would you mind showing me to some kind of Inn so I may rest before taking any exams?" 

Her face held a smile that was reflected in her odd pale eyes as she looked at Tsubaki awaiting her response, hoping for the best Harley would suppress every urge to run and not rely or be around others that popped up in her mind. As numerous as they were at that moment due to how much was riding on the reaction that she received. While anxious by nature thanks to her nurture the young woman found that things went better if she went in with positive assumptions instead of negative ones and being honest worked with honest people. While she did not have too much evidence for it, it was a worldview that allowed her to keep going instead of crumbling.

The woman, soon to known as Harley, bowed to Tsu with respect. She then went on to explain that she came to Hoshi to become a part of them in their shinobi forces. This gave Tsubaki quite a shock as she wasn't expecting a visitor like this to come by. Harley explained that she had some experience with ninjutsu. Tsubaki knew that there were troubled times with Missing ninja and Hoshi, starting with Valen breaking in and recruiting a lot of their forces to go elsewhere for who knows what. However, she never said that she was from another village and that her parents trained her. It all sounded like something for a higher official to look into. 

"Unfortunately, I won't be able to let you apply for an exam here because the Kage or someone similarly in high position would have to endorse you. I can escort you to the Kage's abode however and you two can talk about some sort of plan. I hope you don't mind walking for a bit further." Tsubaki would smile at her. She actually wanted Harley to join their ranks. It would be outsider knowledge and techniques. Perhaps she could learn a thing or two about her while they were comrades.

With that, if Harley would continue, Tsubaki would lead her inside the village, leaving the rest of the shinobi in charge of guarding the village gates. 

POTENTIAL EXIT

"I can certainly do that, is it okay if I fidget nervously though? I am not used to seeing this many people about having grown up where I did. I hope I don't upset the Kage with any cultural faux pass either, while I can learn I simply have lacked the time to dedicate to research" the female would relax a bit after seeing Tsubaki smile, it was not as daunting now that she had a guide though she hoped she could vent some of her chakra stack during the meeting with the kage. Hopefully it would be done outdoors, but beggars could not be choosers. 

Following Tsubaki, Harley Jugo would look around the village as she passed through gates and into the village, hopefully this would spark a good chapter of her life.
