Team Ibari's First Mission

Things were going great. Guards were now stationed to where the client was. He was in the room with the others. Now there was an awkward silence between the four. The Client, Ibari, Shin and himself. Sithis had eaten prior to coming on the mission. He wasn't hungry. Sithis however, was checking for something else entirely. He was scanning for weaknesses. The windows were one. The vents were another. Sleeping gas can entire, and they can snatch up the Target. Two guards outside on a B Rank Mission were not gonna be enough. Sithis himself could take out the guards if required. It wasn't going to be enough if it a Chuunin or Jounin was assigned to assassination the client. Overall the entire thing was a mess. Nor did Sithis had a Ear piece for radio. Turning towards, Ibari. "Aye, Sir. Sensei, Ehh. Do you by chance have any of those spare ear pieces? I'd like one if you don't mind. To stay in contact with you. In case something bad happens or anything of that kind of sort? You feel me? I can stay in contact. That way we can be lit." He shrugged his shoulders. And looked at the Kaguya. Man Kaguya was weird looking too.

As night slowly rolled around, things outside were finally starting to die down. Ibari had tucked himself into one of the corners of the room, enough to where if you didn't notice him at first glance you wouldn't have even known he was there. Wherever Shin would have been would have marked the start of the night operation of their mission as the client began to tuck in for the night. Of course to the untrained eye it would have appeared that Ibari had been sleeping, but in all reality he was more aware than ever. As darkness overtook the room and the outside area something began to stir in the bitter darkness of the alleyways and corners surrounding the inn. While he could pick up the chakra signatures quite well due to the maintaining of his technique, he chose to deactivate it and suppress his chakra as he waited for those who wanted to assassinate his charge to appear. Sure enough silent shuffling would begin to fill the inn. The two bodyguards that had accompanied the elder gentlemen were lost to the night. Were they trained shinobi maybe they might have seen the light of a new day, but just hiring regular muscle sometimes didn't cut it. Their deaths were quick and silent as the two groups began to converge on the inn. From the outside they would wait for the right time to strike, unknown to them of the exact number of remaining bodyguards still in play. Ibari would hope that Shin's active listening skills were in play as he began to slink deeper into the darkness of the room, his eyes waiting on the window specifically.

Time slowly ticked before the action had commenced, three coming in from the window and three attempting to bust through the front door. Ibari would hope at this point his students would leap into action and stop the threat at the front while he took care of the room. As one of the assassins made their way to the bed, leaping into action, he would be met with a palm from the shadows latching onto his face and squeezing as the crunching of bones filled the room," We didn't order any room service...i'm going to have to ask you to leave," the quip was delivered with a small smile as a bone-like protrusion erupted from his palm and impaled the first through their skull. As the body dropped to the ground, Ibari would slowly slink from the shadows, staring the other two down for a moment before making a gesture to them,"Please make this worth the effort."

Shin decided to post himself outside the room, he didn't like the idea of being next to the client as he slept. Besides, Ibari was already in the room statuing himself in the corner. Since the sun was down, Shin could only see with the dim lighting of the hallway and the moonlight from outside the windows on either side of the hallway. It was quiet in the hallway filled with doors. Little did Shin know is that he was about to get some action in just a couple of moments.

The loud thud of two bodies falling quickly awoke Shin from any kind of sleepy trance. Just before he could go investigate the noise, the lights in the hallway flickered before turning off. Shin raised his fists, prepared to face anyone in the dim lighting. Three figured would quickly approached from down the hall, they were very coordinated. Their mouths and noses were covered with a bandana. One of the assassins quickly charged at Shin with a kunai in hand. Luckily for Shin, he was able to see the attack before it was too late. He would grab the wrist of the assassin holding the kunai and effortlessly fling him to the side, disarming him in the process. The others were quick to counter-attack soon after. They both charged at him and tackled him into the hotel door. The door would break off its hinges and the three of them would fall into the room on top of the broken-down door. Shin quickly pushed the two off him with his immense strength and shot back up again. Shin then noticed that Ibari was facing a similar issue with two that had broken in through the window. The client nervously watched both fights in the comfort of the bed. The three assassins quickly go back up, ready to strike again and complete their mission. 

They would go for another strike against Shin, the first assassin going after the target while the other distracted Shin. But Shin would quickly evade the attacks and grab one of the assassins that went after him and threw him against the one going after the target. That left time for Shin to deal with just one assassin. Shin quickly busted out his Rasengan and slammed it into the belly of the opponent, sending him across the hall into the room right across from the one they were in, smashing through the wall. Shin smiled with pride before addressing the last two who were starting to get back up again. Shin would take out on the kunai and charge at one of the assassins. But Shin was too slow and the assassins quickly evaded the attacks by moving to the side. This prompted Shin to throw the kunai at one of the assassins, causing a direct hit. There was only one assassin left for Shin to face. The assassin knew that he couldn't take down either Ibari or Shin, so he headed out the door, trying to escape. Shin would take out two shurikens and tried to strike him while he was heading down the hall. The assassin was able to avoid the shuriken and escape out the window in the hallway. "Blast."

Shin looked to his sensei to see how he was doing in his fight.

Ibari had noticed that Shin immediately jumped into action as they dealt with the intruders coming from the hall, but the other new student was pretty lackluster.... As Ibari dealt with his first intruder swiftly, the other two decided that they would join forces to deal with him. He rolled his wrist as he jumped into action, his right hand making a single motion before going to grab at the first person nearest to him, the assailant was quick to move, but not quick enough to stop the second motion he made. Moving his hand down several bone like bullets would shoot from his fingers and pierce through his right eye, his left chest cavity, his right arm in multiple areas and finally his leg. The bullets would shred him to ribbons from the inside before his body could touch the ground, but the other assailant had already struck. Sitihis would already be on the ground bleeding profusely, not paying attention to the battle at hand. His eyes went over toward Shin, giving a really quick 'Go after them NOW' look before returning his gaze to the last assailant. Slowly his eyes would form into the three tomoe state of the sharingan before he spoke," You made the wrong decision to take this job.. You've killed one of my students. Wrecked this inn...and more importantly ruined my night. For that nothing of you shall remain," the glowing red of his eyes would be the last thing he would see as the male's hand quickly made the seals for one of his favorite technique. From his lips the embers of life would slip into existence and overtake his body, setting him on fire but not touching anything else within the room. As he burned, he flailed out of the window a loud thud could be heard. Looking back into the room he would form a single shadow clone that would go out into the night to follow Shin as they chased the last one, hoping he would keep them alive to be interrogated.

Seeing that his sensei was okay and so was the client, Shin chased after the last assassin. Shin dashed down the hallway and jumped out the same window the assassin had escaped from. Once Shin hit the ground, he saw the assassin making a break for the market district. Shin knew that the assassin was trying to lose him in a variety of places to hide there. Shin wouldn't let this punk get away from him that easily. 

The assassin was darting around every corner they could find. They would look behind them every so often to see if they were getting followed still. Shin wasn't anywhere to be seen, so the assassin slowed down and hid behind a corner to catch their breath. "Thank god." The assassin said breathlessly. Unfortunately for him, his guard was down. Shin peer down at them from above. He was attached to the wall with surface walking techinque. "Hey there," Shin announced himself confidently. Before the assassin was able to respond, Shin jumped in front of him and gave a right hook to the chest. The assassin was launched into the wall behind him and was knocked unconscious. Shin dusted off his hands as Ibari's shadow clone appeared. "Hey, I kept this one. Do you think we should, ya know, let him confess about who hired him." 

The morning finally came after what felt like an extremely long night of his teammates dying or disappearing. Shin was exhausted. Once the sun rose, the client would be on their way and hopefully glad to still have his life. "You know...That was a terrible night. I think I'm going to take the rest of the day off." Shin told Ibari before submitting the mission report. Shin would smile to Ibari and give a two-finger salute. "Hopefully we see each other again soon, sensei." He told Ibari as he left for home.

The clone continued to chase after Shin knowing they were quite capable of handling this, but this one needed to be alive. Once he popped up on the scene he could see that the genin had everything under control and began to tie up the assassin," Good work.. Points on keeping them alive," he would say with a smile. As the sun rose the original would finally pop up on the scene with a few other ninja, the three taking the assassin into custody and the clone poofing from existence. Ibari would congratulate his student on a job well done and laughed," You deserved it. Go ahead and rest up. I'll take care of everything from here," and with that his work continued.
