In his quest for money Sebastian found yet another mission he could complete in order to fulfull his objective. "Oh, he's going to love this." Currently standing in front of Souji's place, figuring the kid loved surprises, the Tau assumed his partner to already be awake as he began to yell. "Souji, come out and play." In the meantime he'd go over the mission once more to make sure he got all the information they needed. The point of what they were tasked with, was a missing cat. Only it wasn't really missing, it was simply hiding from its owner, knowing she planned on taking the feline for her annual checkup. The cat's checkup of course, not the client's. Although you never know they could also use one.

It made him remember the last time he'd been medically checked. As far as he could remember, it was a couple of weeks ago when Kenshin performed surgery on him and granted Sebastian the Jugo bloodline. Since then he noticed there had been a couple of changes, but none really out of the ordinary. Of course there was some sort of presence around him, almost as if he suddenly possessed multiple personalities, voices telling him to do things, violent things. Up til now Sebastian always succeeded in ignoring those voices, but for how much longer? But for now he'd put those thoughts aside and focus on the task ahead. "Souji, I'm waiting." Sebastian could already imagine the annoyed look on the boy's face when he realized who was waiting in front of his place.

Souji's Stats:

Life was budding and picking up as usual in the morning. This was a refreshing change of pace for the Hyuuga whom came from a village that was completely opposite and full of darkness. d its inhabitants. Within his home Souji sat within the living room on the floor. He only wore his black turtleneck shirt and crimson pants. His eyes were closed and his legs crossed, the palms of his hands placed on his knees. Slowly inhaling through his nose, gradually exhaling from his mouth. A feeling of tranquility washed over him, his senses were once rattled, yet now they are somewhat aligned as he gain control in this state of trance.  

Once seeing Mizuki do this, he remembered how her chakra was like a calming wave crashing at a cliff side. She seemed so peaceful, and now he too understood the same peace. His chakra was growing with each breath like air to a hungry flame. There was a clearing in the depths of his mental. Its been a while since he was visited by that mirror - was he rid of it, or was it formulating another route of invading? Deep down the teen hoped that was not the case, such a disturbance was no healthy nor did he need anything affecting his mind.  

Abruptly his peace was pierced by the voice of another... though it was muffled. Being in such a trance took time and blocking out outside annoyances was part of the method. He glided deeper into his world of calm, soothing and enlightenment. His senses were picking up certain things of notice that he wouldn't have otherwise. The vibrations of the many footsteps outside of his home. The scent of moisture in the air, the light fragrance of plants and even a hint of...soap? The subtle taste of grass in his mouth and even some mixtures of foods being made from afar of his home. Within the confines of his mental he could see the layout of his shared home and around it. Subconscious coming into consciousness as he now notes things that he was oblivious to inside and out of his home. 


He could even hear the flapping of the bird's wings and the patting of dogs paws into the dirt as they digged. The sound of cats licking their fur to clean and even the subtle breathing...breathing? Who or what was that? The breathing would then turn into a voice to inform the teen that they were waiting. It did not take long for him to realize that the voice belonged to none other than - "...Ogre..." His reality of peace was rejected as he submerged from that realm with his eyes now opening. Lilac orbs would then dart over to the door of his home. Irritated the teen's body moved to a standing and then a rushing in one fluid motion. 


The door of his home would burst open and he would eject himself foot first aimed to connect with the Ogre's face leading to a dragging into the ground. His right foot on the face of the man and his left foot on the left of his body. Souji with his Byakugan now active would glare at his partner as he looked somewhat demonic in appearance from that angle, down looking up. "Ogre... There is a countless number of things that I despise greatly. One, unwelcome surprises. Two, visitors without consent. Three, being disturbed while I'm meditating. Where do you think you stand on that list...?" Tho his reaction was quite stern, he remained conscious of how he placed his foot on the face of Sebastian and how hard he pushed him to the ground. He was not aiming to harm his new friend, but merely get a point across...though he was sure that the point would reach but still be discarded by the Tau. It didn't seem like him to just obey.  

Sigh, the Hyuuga would lift his foot and place it on the ground. Those pearl eyes of his would return to their lavender shade and he would look off into the left - into his home. His right hand would extend towards Sebastian as a way to offer assistance in helping him to his feet. Souji had found a soft spot for this man and that was good. He was presenting him with kindness, even if it was in his own stoic way. "Why are you here, Ogre? Or rather just what are you planning to drag me into?" His tone still carried that stern approach, but it was a tinge lighter. Glancing over to the Tau he would wait his response as he enter the threshold of his home to collect his shoes, placing them on after cleaning his soles of any dirty from the ground. Closing the door and locking up, but not before collecting his jacket from the hanger next to it.

His surprise visit had the expected effect on Souji, although he had preferred not to get a foot planted into his face. After all, it was the most beautiful part of his body. Who was he kidding? A lot of things could be said about Sebastian but he doubted beautiful would be on the list. "Your feet smell. Are you sure you were meditating and not something else?" Regardless of the horizontal position he was in, Sebastian couldn't help but maintain the teasing. As the saying went, you only live once. So why not let go of all boundaries and just have fun? Up til now, the Tau never put himself first. So he decided to start living his life differently and think about his own happiness for once. Part of this new mindset consisted of annoying the living hell out of Souji, something he found himself surprisingly capable of. "Are you going to help me up or not? I have something to show you." Back to his own two feet Sebastian reached into one of his side pockets and pulled out a piece of paper.

He flattened it to remove some of the wrinkels before answering Souji's question. "Look, it's a cat" he'd say while pointing at the description of the mission. He would hand the piece of paper to his partner so he could check what the task was about. "Seems like easy money to me, what do you say?" Not that he expected Souji to refuse his proposal, deep down inside Sebastian knew the kid wanted to spend some more time with him. Not even waiting for a yes or no, the Tau started walking, headed to their client's place, knowing all too well Souji would decide to tag along.

A vacant expression painted his canvas as he periodically bounce his lilac eyes from the unfolded paper to Sebastian. The Ogre's furor left the Hyuuga perplexed. "...Yes, good Ogre. But what does that have to do with us?" Taking the paper to scan over the summary for the mission. Sighing upon realizing that it was a all about finding and collecting some cat. Souji would scuff as he looked over to Sebastian, simultaneously placing the now re-folded paper in his jacket pocket.  

"There is so much more that we can be doing to better occupy our time with...out of all of them you choose to find a damn cat? I'm beginning to think that you pick these jobs just to piss me off, Ogre." The thought of that perched at the edge of his speculation. "...You do it for that very reason, don't you?" It only made sense to him for that to be the reason. Why else would he be here, other than make jest of the teen's hygiene which his OCD did not allow to ever go unchecked. Noticing that the ogre was motioning off, he without thinking strided along side of him.  

The two would walk the paths of the streets until they found themselves at the somewhat large home of the client's. To Souji's perception it wasn't much to look at, very...colorful from all of tge other homes in the village that he noticed. Glancing over to his partner he would wonder what his opinion of the home was, however from his periphery he would steal a glimpse of the very feline that they were possibly tasked with capturing. '...I don't blame you, the house is too loud.' He would think before turning his head to face Sebastian who was one meter to his right. Souji with his left hand at his side and his right within his jacket pocket he would part his lips to speak. "I'll let you do all the talking and introduce us to the client. I'm going to be scanning possibly routes and cut offs to capture the cat. I rather get this done and over with...Plus I'd like to see her reaction to a monster at her front door. Haha" His laugh was a genuine one, one of his first to be honest.  

Shaking his head he would return to his usual self and wait for his companion to make his way to the door.

Sebastian would listen to Souji's idea on how to handle the mission before he'd make his way to the front door of the villa. Looking to his left and right he wondered just how many servants the lady of the mansion had to keep all of it clean. It also made him realize that someday he wanted a mansion of his own. Perhaps he could ask Souji to come live with him and act as one of his gardeners to remove the weeds, keeping the place spotless and organized. "I'll have to remember to ask him later" the Tau thought out loud as he finally arrived at the front door of the mansion. As he made his way over, part of him expected to be welcomed by a butler, but maybe that stuff only happened in movies. Nevertheless, Sebastian prepared to knock on the door, wondering if the client was expecting Sunagakure Shinobi. Knock knock. "Miss". Knock knock. "Miss". Knock knock. "Miss". By the third time he knocked a response finally came when the lady of the mansion finally opened the door, tissues in hand to wipe away her tears.

The misfit's eyes went up and down as he was scanning the woman now standing in front of him. She looked to be in her mid-forties, not particularly attractive but when given a bottle or two of sake who knew what would happen? "Ahem. Yes hello, I'm a shinobi of Sunagakure and here to help you catch your cat." Remembering what was in the mission report Sebastian knew they weren't dealing with a missing animal, no the feline was simply running around since it didn't want to go to its annual checkup. "Oh, the short one over there is my partner" he explained while pointing in the direction of the kid. "Yo, Souji. Come say hi." Hopefully his young partner was able to come up with a way to apprehend the cat, or at least had an idea how to get this over with soon. Sebastian would wait til Souji joined them before he'd listen to the lady explaining the situation, perhaps she could give them some information that might help them deal with the rebellious animal.

The mental gears of the Hyuuga began to grind, formulating several strategies that would swiftly execute securing the feline that was actively running and hiding from it's owner. As the Tau began to motion for the door, the teen would focus his chakra to his eyes. Thus his veins swelled and the lilac eyes were now pearl. A pulse of his chakra would spread, he being at its epicenter to ten meters at a three-hundred-sixty radius. Now he would have access everything within one hundred meters of him at a complete radius. Halcyon in his stillness as he scan the immediate surrounding of the villa. '...There!' Found, the feline - orange, white and brown.  

The cat was at the north end of the villa. By this time Ogre was closing in in the door readying himself to knock. Simultaneously Souji the seal of the ram was formed. The Hyuuga's entire body was amped with his chakra. Thus in a blur he played out of the immediate space. With new speed bestowed to him he found himself materializing within one meter of the fleeing cat. Due to his sudden emergence out of surprise leaped into the air with a rough cry. The teen locked his focus on the animal, now completely free of the body flicker and its influence he was now able to dart at his base speed to instantly close the distance between the two. "Sorry...but its time for a nap."  

His right hand fluidly motioned to the feline's head and his middle and index fingers extend to channel chakra into a single point that connects. Tapping the cat head center would allow that flow of chakra to block one tenketsu as well as induce unconsciousness upon the animal. Thumping to the ground the genin would lower his hand and relax his fingers. "I guess I'll bring you around to the front. Ogre should be getting an answer at this time." Grabbing the cat by it's scruff at the back of the neck he would carry it around to the front of the villa. By this times the Tau was introducing himself and the "kid" that was not behind him. The woman would blankly stare behind him to see no one there. As he requested for the Hyuuga to come speak he would hear the teen's response come from the immediate right of him, not behind. "To hell with all of that. Here's your cat! Ogre collect the reward and let's go..." Stepping into frame he would simply toss the sleeping cat at the woman and walk off, expecting his partner to collect and meet him at the villa entrance. No signs of harm was left on the cat, simply because there wasn't any. The impact was made internally and precisely. The subtle purring of the animald would leave the woman relieved. Though her standing of the way the teen gave the pet was a bit less relieved. Overall she was happy. The two seemed to work fast.  

His eyes relaxed as the swelling ceased and his lilac eyes returned. After a few moments have passed and Sebastian has come with their rewards the two would take off. "Moving forward, no more animal contracts. They're dirty and disgusting. You go ahead home, I'll fill out the mission report. Catch you later, Ogre....oh yeah, don't pop up at my house again, or I'll leave you like that cat. Haha." After collecting his half of the reward, Souji would give his friend a subtle nod and head towards the mission building to do as he said he was. It was a good mission nonetheless, the two seemed to work well together...even if it was unorthodox.

For a second Sebastian thought cats could suddenly fly as he witnessed the animal arriving into the woman's arms. It seemed his partner wasn't a big fan of feline, yelling at the Tau to make sure he collected their payment. "Ah, excuse my friend. You know how kids can be" Sebastian said in an almost apologetic manner. If anything, the now Sunagakure shinobi wanted to avoid higher ups catching wind of a dissatisfied client. Now that he got used to staying out of trouble, the misfit wanted to keep it that way. "Anyhow, all's well that ends well, am I right?" The Tau awkwardly smiled at the client with his hand sticking out as a sign that he wanted to get the money since they did retrieve the cat after all. "Cheers" and off he went.

He'd join Souji as they walked and made their way back home. "Alright, alright. No more animals, I promise. Although, what about a moose?" His partner mentioned he'd be the one filling out the report this time, meaning Sebastian would be able to call it an early day. "Are you sure? And here I thought we would be having our own sleepovers soon." A terrifying laugh escaped his mouth as he said those words, slapping Souji on the back. "Alright, get home safe. I'll be seeing you around." Waving his friend off, Sebastian made his way home. Another successful mission.
