Backstory:  For centuries, people wished to know how to return the dead to life. This was a focus of Akabayashi’s studies, along with the restorative powers of hot springs. After proving that water was the source of all life, he began to tweak his water temperature along with the PH balance. When he found the right temperature and balance for animals, he continued his studies on humans. When human studies began, the formula was different. After an extended time period, it was harder to pull the soul back to the body, sometimes even realizing the pit was trying to take his soul. He would end the connection there.

Coming back to life was not only difficult on the mind but also the body. This way, those brought back to life still have traces of this jutsu flowing within their "blood."

Appearance:  A hot spring forms in an area Akabayashi chooses that is within range. The pit can be up to a 25-meter radius and ten meters deep or smaller as specified by himself. The water is crystal clear and immediately removes impurities from itself, and the temperature always adjusts to the degree that suits the people within the water.

What it does: The Lazarus Pit is capable of bringing the dead back to life. All required to bring a dead person back to life and reform their body is DNA from the individual a body part, enough DNA equivalent to a cup of blood or body mass equivalent to a hand or foot. This medical-infused hot spring draws the soul back to the deceased/restored body. While at the same time recovering the wounds that killed them in the first place. Eyes or other organs taken are returned to the dead, but they function as though they were clanless. For example, doujutsu would not return, but the returned person would be given normal eyes to see out of. Each person revived cost the user 100Ap, and Akabayashi must be willing to pay the Ap cost.

Those who have been dead for more than one thread may be brought back to life, but life must be paid in return; Akabayashi must use his own life to return the long-departed, or a Hunter NPC/PC of the same rank or greater of the deceased character may be sacrificed. A character who died over one year ago ooc can never be brought back to life with this technique.

In addition to the resurrection, this jutsu is also capable of healing the wounded. When a person enters, the hot spring wounds are healed at a speed and power equal to the power of the jutsu. The healing effects on living targets are capable of replacing organs, identical to the resurrection portion. The user can heal others by spending an Ap relative to the severity of the wound. As shown by this table.

Minor cuts and bruises = 0 actions
Deep cuts and slashes = 15 actions
Missing limb = 25 actions (1 post cooldown to regenerate wounds of this tier and above after use)
Fatal Injury = 40 actions (2 post cooldown to regenerate wounds of this tier and above after use)

One person within the pit, as chosen by Akabayashi, may have DR equal to the jutsu's power for as long as they stay within the pit. No other person within the pit may receive this benefit for the duration of the jutsu.

Passive Effect(s): Once the pit is formed, it remains until removed, and people may heal minor wounds freely at any of the locations for 0Ap, as shown in the above table. This passive effect does not extend to serious wounds or loss of limb.

After being revived by the Lazarus Pit, the returner's blood is replaced with boiling water. This is merely aesthetic and functions the same as blood. Jutsu that require blood merely appear as boiling water, and the person bleeds hot water.

My only point for now would be an increase to the hand seals. Considering this is a chakra stat S-Rank I'd like to see at least 8 hand seals.
