Zeref would watch his sensei put on nice display of power by activating his lazris pit and destroying the men surrounding the target. "Damn this what it means to be a Nova huh", Zeref thought to himself as he followed his sensei , he was pretty sure that this mission was over now and he could get back to training. He listen as his sensei instructed him to untie the target and then question one of the guard, all the while Zeref remained silent not having much to say. He waited till everything was done and then followed everyone back to the village, not really caring what his sensei whats saying he thought about walking away but after remembering what happened today he thought it be best to atleast hear him out. Once his sensei was done Zeref left to collect his reward.

Youta would follow Sabastian as two of the fellow guards would escort us to find the shinobi that invaded the camp. He would say “there were definitely a few of them this way” and Sabastian would follow the other two bandits towards a corner. Youta would see his fellow shinobi’s head nod and would pull out the Kunai then nod back. He would quickly kick the man's knee so he would fall to them. Then with a quick strike stab the throat covering the mouth to make sure there was no sound that would come out. He would then turn his team mate “I guess we should hurry back in case others came or they need back up.” He would rush back to the center tent to find that the merchant was safe and everyone was ok. He would activate his Meigan one more time and look around. Everyone would see his eyes turn and glow a crimson red and he would say “I do not see any other signatures. I think that we are clear.” He saw his team leader with the merchant and they headed back towards the village.

They would all meet at the gate of the village and Akabayashi wanted to talk about and discuss the mission. He would first tell us what we did right and then criticize us about a few things. He asked if we had any questions Youta could not think of any at the time so he would wait to see if anyone else had any questions. After Akabayashi answers any questions asked, he would bow respectfully to Akabayashi and then turn to go home saying “see you all later let’s do this again sometime. Let me know when our next mission is sensei and I will see you all later.” He would run home and try to bathe before his parents got home. He would greet his parents that night and go to bed knowing that he did well on this mission.

Loghain would listen as the clone directed him back towards his objective, following it back to what seemed like an out of place bubbling pit of water. It wouldn’t be long before all of the dead bodies were thrown into the pit. At first the wolf had just figured the Terumi was cleaning up after the mission, but when living people started to emerge the wolf was taken off guard. He was going to ask what this was but their commander was busy interrogating one of the bandits, and so it might have been best to ask another time. Instead, the wolf would look around and note the destruction that occurred here. The entire structure was destroyed, yet only a moment ago it had still stood tall. Was this the work of Doctor Terumi?
 
From what he could tell, this group of bandits knows Dr. Terumi, and also seems to be allowed to reside here to keep out other bandits. Unless these bandits were loyal to Hoshi – or more likely completely terrified of the doctor and what he will do – the wolf saw no value in permitting them to remain. They still robbed folks and because they were on this assignment now it looks as though they were fond of kidnapping and extortion as well. Still, such things were above his position. Plus… such kindness from the village is likely why he was allowed to remain close by after his exile. Best not to think too much into it at the moment. After the interrogation they would bring the merchant back to the village.
 
Once returned any the merchant was apprehended their team leader would give them a brief explanation of what they did well and what they could improve on. Following instructions seemed to be their team’s biggest strength, which honestly didn’t surprise the wolf. Two of the others were trained Hoshi military and he was accustomed to doing as instructed by his handlers. He would also mention the surface walking technique. The what? The others didn’t seem to question this, so perhaps it was common knowledge and Loghain simply wasn’t familiar with it. It sounded like the tree climbing technique he was barely taught those years ago. The Terumi would also note killing was necessary.
 
“The taking of another’s life is never an easy thing. It might not require much to physically slit a man’s throat, but the weight on your mind and soul… that never really goes away.” The wolf would shake his head, “Mercy is a valuable trait to have. It shows we are human and not simple beasts…. or worse, monsters.” He would gaze back at the woods from the gates, “Without the allowance for mercy, how can redemption be found?” This was as much a question to himself as it was to the doctor. “Perhaps it best to discuss such things at a later time. It will give me time to reflect on it.”

With both Zeref and Youta not having questions, the one he knew would have the biggest issue with killing spoke. What he said wasn't wrong taking life was not easy for beginners it usually made people vomit the first time, which is why low life bandits were chosen as targets for death. The objective wasn't really to reclaim the merchant it was to get the information the Doctor sought and to eliminate that first kill, so that the second was easier. The merchant going that way and getting caught was merely a happy coincidence.

"Killing usually isn't easy, but that was the goal of todays mission. To make it easy, when you snapped that man's neck I didn't give you a choice and neither will a strong opponent. Don't let the idea I revived the one you killed detract from the fact you meant his death to be permanent." Akabayashi didn't wish to be harsh but when it came down to it, he needed them all to grow as ninja.

"Mercy, is for courtrooms and executions. It has no place in battle. Neutralize, the enemy then ponder if they are worth saving. As for redemption, as shinobi our redemption is found within our orders. If my orders say to kill the dirty bandit well then to hell with his redemption." He would need Loghain to kill more to break him of this bad guys have feelings too thing he had going on. 

What the Doctor had on his mind was to find the person he was looking for from the information he had recieved from the bandits. When he found the person he would make them a deal to attack his genin or be killed right there. What he wouldn't tell them of course was that he would be there to make certain his team didn't fail.

"Everyone, you are dismissed." Youta would bow as normal. He really liked that kid, he had a ton of respect. Zeref on the other hand was ready to leave before he even said a word about leaving. He really had his hands full with that one.
