Patrolling the Village [wip]

Mission Details:Patrol Training
Shinobi Involved: Uchiha, Shiroyasha
With so much going on at home between tending the shrine, taking care of his foster siblings, and tending to his cat; Shiroyasha was finding less and less time for work. Not to mention all the training he had been recently engrossed in was slowing to a crawl. Too dedicated to the cause of Hoshigakure shinobi, Shiroyasha decided to enroll in village patrol.

There was a training class being held in a residential district where ninja could be instructed in the various arts of patrol. Shiroyasha happily signed up and arrived that night. He was early by fifteen minutes, and waited alone. Standing with his black priest robe on, the Uchiha twirled his lance around waiting for the instructor to begin. He waited until the specified time and began teaching. Only one other ninja showed up, a girl named Naomi.

Naomi had a cat with her. Shiroyasha greeted her warmly, and stood at attention for the instructor. Muri was a woman too, and taught the two as if they were a whole class. She handed them both a binder. Shiroyasha's was titled "Recon" in big black ink letter. The folder was orange, and he glanced it immediately. There were lots of texts, and even diagrams. 

Muri instructed the two. There were four primary formations for patrol. Carrot Top was the first, and this was one ninja followed by a line of ninja, the lead was the Recon. It was the recons job to scout for danger and leave messages with a special marker. The ink fluttered, and a train eye could easily spot it from a distance. That was Shiros dedicated goal, point out danger in patrol. He made sure to memorize everything about this formation. The other three formations weren't his to maintain, so he was given time to study while Muri talked with Naomi about hers. 

After an hour the two were split up. Muri went ahead of them, and placed fake explosion tags in various area. The two would work together to spot and mark them. Shiro took the lead, his magic marker in hand. Naomi followed twenty meters behind him. With the Sharingan it was easy to spot chakra, and he found all the dangers. Marking them with the kanji for Threat, Shiro and Naomi worked together as a perfect team. 

The two finished the rest of their exercises, which were mostly condition check to be sure they were suitable for village patrol. Both of the Genin passed and were awarded with Ninja clearance to maintain village patrols. Shiroyasha was even given Rank, determined an able bodied leader. 

The following day Shiroyasha brought his examination proof to be given his official clearance. The assistant had him wait in the lobby for awhile, before an older gentleman brought him back. He had a patch to be embossed on the backside of Shiroyashas headband. The symbol was of a triangle, with the bottom two points rounded. He was a certified patrol lead, and took his first mission as a patrol. Taking lead of a temporary team, Shiroyasha enjoyed his first day openly protecting the streets of Hoshigakure.

The teams first mission was a hit more eventful than the new team lead expected. With his team following behind, Shiroyasha was leading a hunt for a bank robber. The thief was expected to be hiding in a clock tower, so to find him Shiroyasha and his team were sent in. They made sure all bombs were defused, traps unset, and guards incapacitated. The thief had actually placed a few sealing tags, which Shiros team easily dispatched. When they arrived at the top of the tower the thief didnt easily surrender. Instead he pulled a knife out and attacked. 

With Shiro as lead however, the bank robber had no chance. Shiro swiftly performed handseals for Chidori, and as the man blindly rushed him he was met with Shiros electrifying palm. The electric shit incapacitated the man, and police detained him. There couldnt have been a great success story. Shiroyasha went home with a pocketful of Ryo, and eternal accolades from the Hoshi team he led that day.
