Yudokuna, the Poisonous Devil of Haven Country
Wed Jul 28, 2021 9:42 pm
Aichi heaved a stump, having pulled it from the ground with his bare hands. The Berserkers black flesh reflected in the night light, and he roared. All 56 of his spoke like teeth were exposed to the moonlight.
Today had been a good day. After hard work collecting beans from a field, Aichi had bought a soda pop from the village market. It was orange flavored, and he fell asleep under a tree while he was sipping on it. Dreaming of sheep Aichi was resting himself. The sleep was well deserved, but it just wouldnt last. Suddenly Aichi woke up, his entire right arm won fire.
While sleeping his body had collected too much nature chakra, and he was having the usual reaction. Sometimes his arms would be grey for days before a Transformation, this wasnt one of those days. Aichi gasped and in that split second his arm grew black. Flesh seeped around his arm, like a snug sleeve of jet black armor. This armor was clearly his flesh however, and his veins were visible. Aichi began running towards the woods, but it was too late.
A few steps further and he stopped. His Berserker bloodline had taken over, and he was no longer in control. Aichi howled, and the blackness grew around his neck. Soon his eyes were covered by a white mask, and the black flesh fully encased him. Aichi stuck his incredibly long tongue out, and started roaring.
Inside of his mind, he had a clear perception of what was going on. However there was no control, when he tried to move his body the nature chakra surged all over inside of his tenketsu. The pain was deadly, and all he could do was watch as he went lunatic. Normally Aichi was peaceful, and quiet. But like this, it was as if he let someone else control him. All of his thoughts were distorted, and expressed radically.
"This sacrifice!" Aichi howled to the moon. He knew what was next, the bloodlust was rising. He tried to stop himself again, and fell to the ground as if his heart had stopped. Aichi writhed in pain before getting upa few seconds later. There was no more control, and Aichi had faded. He had no choice but to let his frenzy begin.
He knew people would die, and he couldnt stop himself. There was no more efforts, or trying to look through his eyes differently. Aichi just sat back and watched. He threw the stump into a doorway, and heard a woman scream. "Aiyaaa! Aichi bellowed, the screaming distorted by his altered voice.
Rushing forward on all four the Jugo entered the house. He grabbed the man by a leg and heaved him. He fell into the wall and hit the ground with a loud cry. His wife was screaming bloody murder while Aichi's forearm grew a thick blade at its end. The fourteen year old heaved it into the man, disemboweling him. The woman passed out, lucky for her as she became the only survivor. Aichi killed the whole town, with 27 men and 14 women. The children were not spared.
Aichi knew he had done it, and felt guilt. He also knew he couldnt have changed it, he was well acquainted with resisting the rage. The stone that would grow over his heart as nature chakra rejects his body by human wills frailty. The next day he stayed in the village undisturbed. He didnt check on the woman, and instead sat in a blood soaked house recounting. Aichi wished he didnt know, or that he could change it.
But that wasnt reality. Likewise if he stayed around the corpses he would become diseased, so Aichi left the village. He would have a month, maybe some odd weeks too. But eventually the Jugo Curse would strike him again, and he would kill again.
Aichi tried not to think about it so much, and enjoy the moments of sanity he had. Whistling with the birds he made his way north. He would skip a few villages as he traveled, leery that woman would put a bounty out on him. It was times like these he wondered if he should have killed her too.
Aichi threw the idea away, a vivid flashback of his mother's jaw in his hand resurfaced. The image was just as ghastly as when he had reverted back into his normal body with it in his hand. Aichi kept walking.
The next attack would be sooner than later. However this time at work. Aichi slow two men and a boy, transforming into the black beast of nature and decapitating them. The passion for violence he endured was great, and it was hard to ignore it. The attack was short lived however, and Aichi reverted. Quickly hiding in the woods he watched from afar as the village put out a search part for him.
They called him Yudokuna Genki, and Aichi hid in the forests. There were posters everywhere, witnesses taking notice of the Berserker. Yudokuna came back to the village soon again, Aichi deciding to use it to kill everyone before they sent serious mercenaries after him.
As part of being his own father figure, Aichi decided to adopt the surname Genki in lue of Jugo. Eventually he found an ink artist, and put the title Yudokuna on his right fore arm. In dark blue the ink was visible when he was transformed, often marking a blind splatter.
Over time Yudokuna was able to be assimilated consciously, however was still out of control. Aichi decided to practice, hoping to master the Jugo curse as a new man. As Aichi Genki, the Yudokuna of Haven. Meditating became a daily part of his life, and he grew more reclusive. The Berserker studied all he could, learning to gather his chakra and infuse it properly in his body. The practice was hard, but worth it.
Rages came less often, but remained just as intense when they were bloodthirsty. As his contrik strengthened, Aichi noticed his personality as Yudokuna changed too. Becoming more sadistic, Aichi learned the instinctual ways of torture. Dark psychological attacks were hurled with his claws, and Aichi's victims knew terror. In fact, Aichi almost feared the Yudokuna himself. He would never forget that fear with it tattooed in his arm, and he never gave up on his meditations.

It was winter time, and the northern hemisphere of Haven Country got incredibly frigid. Sleeping outside was impossible, and Aichi had slowly accepted that. As he was traveling and the temperature decreased, the youth became more and more desperate for warmth. Safety was far out of his reach when the winter snow came.
Fortunately Aichi was close to a village, and after a few hours traveling in a storm; the young man was able to find a barn to inhabit. There were cows inside, and a wood stove keeping them warm. Aichi snuggled up in the rafters, using his shawl like a blanket. A few hours passed and he was able to rest.
With life presenting ever increasingly difficult situations, Aichi woke up in a sweat. After taking a very brief nap, he was begining to transform. His entire right arm had grown black, and his claws were forming. The high temperature meant his Nature Berserker bloodline was meeting its limit of nature chakra. Aichi was about to lose his mind. He had just moments to run out of the barn, and rampage where he could return to a safe place after ward's.
Jumping from high up top, Aichi landed on his feet. They had fully formed as his Berserker flesh, and he ran out quickly. Able to hold himself back long enough to get inside the woods, Aichi struggled to maintain his sanity.
As his flesh grew thicker and black his perspective began to fade. Aichi, a honest and faithful young man was unable to cope with his state of mind when nature chakra overwhelmed his chakra system. The sheer audacity his mouth spoke was unreal, in fact it was hard for him to know he said these things. For if he said them, he must have felt them.
Aichi screeched, his face becoming covered with black and white sinew that graphed a mask around his face. His clothing had been totally absorbed by his body, and he would awaken naked. His decency protected, the young man was also very muscular. His veins were like whitestreaks, starting at his chest and covering his entire body like fishnet.
Aichi's mouth had grown to obscene proportions, and his teeth convexed upon themselves like needles. If he had been aware of himself, Aichi wouldnt have recognized himself. However he had completely dissociated from reality. The young man was turned away from his senses, and controlled completely by an insatiable rage. This wrath was of natural causes, as if every leaf that failed to float in the wind had a grudge against Eastward. Unable to understand his complex anger towards life, Aichi knew that he wouldnt be able to understand what was next.
Screaming wildly, his black claws reached up to his face. "I'm here Aichi! Wake up for us!" Aichi screamed in a most wretched deeply abrasive tone. The Jugo spoke to himself, the frantic desire for understanding reaching into Aichi's super conciousness. His hands pulled the Berserker Flesh away, revealing his face. Aichi could feel the familiar winds on his face, with his orange hair exposed. Still in his Berserker Form, Aichi screamed; this was louder now, his ears exposed.
Aichi didnt recognize himself, repeating his reminder aloud. Confused he covered his minds eye again, and the complete wrath of his bloodline set in. Aichi had completely looked away, and Yudokuna was set free. For two weeks straight the midnight black terror stalked humans on the roads between villages. Cold was no danger like this, and Yudokuna killed for sport.
Aichi knew he was responsible for his actions while overwhelmed with nature chakra and Berserk, but thinking of his Berserker Form as an extension of nature made it easier to understand the change in his mind. How he acted differently than normal was more sensical when Aichi thought of himself as Yudokuna; a possessed arm of nature, Yudokuna was a facet of Aichi's being.
The disguise of his transformation made taking a new name all that much easier too. Aichi thought of Yudokuna as himself in a higher state of mind, communing with greater than normal forces. Despite not being comfortable with all of his choices while transformed, Aichi learned to respect his life while in a frenzy. Yudokuna became a hero to him, and he strived to incorporate the visceral passion into his everyday person.
As well Aichi learned to engage his Transformation at will, and in doing so he was able to easily graph his personality of Yudokuna. Where before the Transformation featured mostly screams, he started to talk. Sometimes cruelly, he also possessed a dark humor. As Yudokuna Aichi wasnt a teenager, he was an anti-hero.
Looking past his murderous tendencies, Yudokuna protected the very forces that gave all beings life. Yudokuna was a guardian of nature, the original mother of mystic power.
Aichi was a student, learning the greatness that nature offered his kind. But Yudokuna was the police force nature kept to keep law in order. As Aichi learned these things, and adopted the alter ego of Yudokuna; he began to control his efficacy with nature chakra. The path to Sagehood was being walked, and like a fool Aichi learned what he could from his experience.
Never engaging with people like he did as Yudokuna, Aichi decided he would put himself to the test. He traveled south, away from the snow storm. Aichi was eventually staring at a previously unexplored town, he decided to investigate and see if he might be able to act with the same killer instinct he did as Yudokuna.
This would be a real test of character, and Aichi was preparing himself at the roadside. He had no idea what this town had done to incur nature so as to bring the Jugo guardian to its gates, but the warrior was dedicated to learning from this direction of divine providence. After readying himself with a plan, Aichi leapt onto a rooftop.
There was a window he snuck into, and a young couple was sleeping together. Aichi grafted a black blade to his arm, and cut both of their heads at once.
With no hesitation, he blankly stared as the two were instantly killed. As if he were disconnected like when transformed, Aichi moved with direct intent. Whether he wanted to murder or nature was guiding its guardian was unclear, but he jumped back out of the window proudly. Aichi felt like he had contributed to the world in a good way, despite the only proof of this being feeling balance with nature chakra inside of him.
Later he wondered if it was his actions as a murderer, or his choice of weapon. Regardless it was clear he was indeed a suitable killer, something Aichi kept to himself.
Only Yudokuna knew the true Aichi.
