The crowd that lines the stone seats of the arena roar with excitement. From behind the east and west gates, all can see both competitors, experienced gladiators, wait behind the barred metal. The howling crowd rattles the sand that lines the flat, earthen, 200 meter battle ground. Some of the crowd lean over the 25 meter high walls, screaming for blood, gore, and death. Near the top of the arena, away from the rabble, sit the elite of Sunagakure. Merchant lords and political aids watch from afar, sipping wine and feasting on grapes as they wait for the event to commence. A voice breaks through the crowd, answering the bloodthirsty call of the audience!

"Ladies and gentleman," says the announcer, "welcome to the arena! We have a great match up for you today! Cast your eyes to the eastern and western gates. These bloodletters have gathered here today for your entertainment. Do not avert your eyes for a second, lest you miss the gore that will spill on the arena floor!" The crowd thunders in response. "Combatants, ready yourself. Now, lower the gates!"

The eastern and western gates shift as the cogs and gears turn, heavy metal grinds against stone as the gates are lowered. From the eastern gates steps out a stone-faced, ashen-haired man. His long hair is wrapped in a regal knot, his beard is groomed and his pale eyes burn into his opponent 200 meters away. He wears a dune colored jounin jacket and faded arm-guards. On his  left hip and behind his thigh sit two weapon pouches, each one sparsely filled. A large, fuma shuriken rests closed on his back. Three, palm-sized wooden gourds, each one stamped with a cartoon monkey face rest on his back right hip. As he steps, he fishes into the weapon pouch on his hip, attaching two explosive tags to two kunai. After, he dashes forward toward his opponent, attempting to clear the 200 meter distance, but stays observant and ready to change his course of action.

The western gate opens, Raleth's opponent is revealed, a dark haired, crimson eyed lad, armored with a clawed gauntlet and wielding a sharp blade walks out. He carries a foreboding air, as if a dark presence stalks his person. 

The lad observes the charging Sarutobi, his crimson eyes flicker to a sickly green and scans Raleth with an unknown power, waiting for the ashen-haired tea-brewer to make the first move and waiting in front of the entrance of the arena, the end of the 200 meter wide oval. 

As Raleth dashes past the 40 meter mark, he reaches for the kunai prepped with explosive tags and infuses his chakra into them. As he takes his next stride, at a mark 35 meters away from his opponent, he shoots his hand into the weapon pouch on his thigh, pulling out a smoke bomb and crushing it. Thick smoke pours from the ruptured capsule at 55 speed, covering a 10 meter area surrounding Raleth in obscuring smoke. As he crushes the smoke bomb, he throws his explosive-tagged kunai toward his opponent. As the kunai escaped the rolling cloud of the smoke, Raleth's throw would look wide. This would be because the Brewer aims for the walls that neighbor the gate behind ODa, the Sarutobi plans to lodge both kunai into the stone a quarter of a meter behind each of his opponent's shoulders, with a meter between each kunai. As soon as the kunai travel the 35 meters at 75 speed and make contact, either with the stone or anything else, they would explode, into a 1 meter fireball at 55 power and speed. If they are lodged into the wall, they will explode behind the Yuumei, and covering an area of 2 meters away from the wall in fire and flame. Should the Yuumei do nothing, the combined force of both explosions will burn him for 110 damage.

After the explosive tagged kunai is thrown, when the smoke obscures Raleth Sarutobi from both his opponent and the crowd, the aged shinobi strings together 5 handseals with one hand. After forming two handsigns with this one hand, the Sarutobi strings together another set of four handseals using his other hand. As he completes his first jutsu, Raleth places his hand to his lips, in his stomach he infuses his earth and fire chakra, smoldering his natures and forcing a thin stream of ash from his lips, blowing out a smoke shaped humanoid. In an instant, the blown smoke hardens and colors itself, into a perfect doppleganger of the Tea Brewer, an Ash Style Clone(A Rank). As soon as the clone is formed, Raleth completes his second jutsu. Earth nature chakra coats his body, at 65 speed Raleth Sarutobi sinks into the earth, Hiding in the Earth like a Mole (B Rank).

The Ash Clone Raleth, obscured by the thick cloud of smoke, takes two kunai and attaches two explosive tags, infusing them with chakra. In the next instant, he throws them.

When the first pair of explosive-tipped kunai arrive at a point 15 meters away from his opponent, the Yummei would see another pair of kunai burst from the rolling cloud of smoke, at a speed of 75. They would be aimed low, toward the earth, at a spot 4 meters away, with the kunai being spaced one meter apart. Shortly after seeing the second pair of kunai, the Yuumei would see Raleth Sarutobi burst from the smoke cloud at 75 speed. Unbeknownst to him, another Raleth lay skulking 10 meters under the sand and clay of the arena, traveling at 65 speed and hidden beneath layers of thick earth. Both Raleth's would charge forward, provided nothing changed in the current situation.

As the first two pair of kunai would land, the second pair would be 5 meters from their destination, and were set to explode once hit with their their intended mark, 5 meters in front of the yuumei, or on Raleth's activation, creating a combined explosion with 2 meter diameter and 55 power and speed. The flame-cloaked Raleth would be 10 meters away from the Yuumei as the first pair of kunai hit the wall.

Perhaps it was the excitement of the battle, or his age, that made him over estimate his abilities, under estimate his speed, and make him make his missteps. Regardless, Raleth Sarutobi would go forward, on his way to make contact with his explosive kunai. Before Raelth would make contact, because he ran ahead of the smoke cloud and could see his opponent, he would see the Yuumei reach into his weapon pouch, pull out two kunai and throw it at a blistering speed of 90, intending to strike Raleth as soon as he made contact with his explosive kunai. Because the Yuumei wished for his Kunai to be 30 meters ahead of him when Raleth made contact with his kunai, he would need to throw his projectile well before the Sarutobi could make contact. Seeing this and reacting to his opponent reaching into his weapon pouch for his kunai, Raleth would bring his hands up, guarding himself against the frontal assault and preparing to dash to the right. As he reacts, he infuses his chakra through his skin, activating Earth spear, dyeing himself the color of stone when the Yuumei throws his kunai. 

Raleth dashes to the right 2 meters away from his opponen's kunai's destination, avoiding the 90 speed kunai with his enhanced speed of 125. However, because of his bulk, he still makes contact with his explosive tags, setting them off as he travels. Because his earth spear spreads at a speed of 75 and the explosion spreads at 55, the protective coating of the jutsu would protect and cover his body before it could affected by the explosion, mitigating 75 of the 110 damage, protecting him from its burns. His natural resilience would tank the impact force from the explosion, subtracting 35 from his DR pool, leaving him 40 DR but keeping his health at 300. As the explosion starts to spread, when Raleth dashes to the right, after the Yuumei throws his kunai, the Saurtobi see's his opponent weaving handseals. 

After distancing himself from his opponent's kunai by 2 meters, Raleth keeps forward, at 75 speed. As his opponent's eyes change, Raleth stops, being 28 metes away from his opponent. A glorious inferno spawns from the tattooed-ed Yuumei's mouth, a majestic destroying flame races toward the Sarutobi with a power and speed of 145. When his opponent launches his fire-style jutsu, Raleth having already moved 2 meters, would dash to the right at 125 speed. Because the explosive kunai were activated, his opponent would aim his Great Fire Annihilation with Raleth's last position as its center. Because his opponent would have fired his jutsu after the the Sarutobi ran into his explosive kunai, Raleth would would only need to travel 9 meters to the right to avoid the Great Fire Annihilation. As well, because the explosion would have knocked away the earthen armor, the Shikou would not know exactly how the Sarutobi tanked the explosion. As well, because of the sheer range of his jutsu, he would be unable to see the Sarutobi's enhanced speed of 125.

Because of the difference in their speed, the fire jutsu would travel 5 meters for every 4 meters Raleth traveled. As such, when Raleth dashes to a point that is 2 meters away from the 20 meter wide fire jutsu and 28 meters away from his opponent, the Great Fire Annihilation would only have traveled 12 meters, and would be 16 meters away from the Sarutobi's last position.

As Raleth dashes to the right, he kneads earth chakra in his stomach and smolders it with his fire nature, forming 5 handseals in one hand and four with the other. The moment before coming into his opponent's view and clearing the massive flame wall, Raleth reduces his speed to 100.  As he clears the width of the jutsu and arrives at his intended point, he charges forward at 100 speed. As he arrives at this point, he simultaneously activates his ash style jutsu. He bellows out a thick, mouth-sized ball of ash in the shape of a snarling monkey, wisps of this ash drift off to the side, taking a humanoid shape and forming into two dopplegangers of the Tea Brewer. The ash-monkey head would be aimed in a arc and travel away from the Shinkou's fire jutsu at a speed of 85, and would be aimed at a spot 5 meters above the yuumei and 3 meters to his left. The highest point of this arc would be 10 meters above the ground, its widest would be at most 13 meters away from the center of the Great Fire Annihilation. 

Since Raleth fired his jutsu away from his position, he would continue charging forward at 100 speed with no fear of crashing into his own attack, his skin once again turning the color of stone as he continues infusing his chakra into his skin. One clone would stay its ground, weaving defensive handsigns in preparation, while the other clone dashes forward at 75 speed, trailing behind the stone-encased Raleth and keeping to his right. Raleth would keep his eyes on the opponent, the charging ash clone would keep watch of Raleth and their surroundings, the one staying behind would focus on his handseals.

Should the Breath of the Monkey King make contact with the wall, it will explode into a thick, pyroclastic cloud of ash and soot, spreading out and away from the wall, covering an area with a diameter of 30, with the western entrance being an end point of this circle. Should his opponent get caught in the cloud of ash, he will suffer burns equal to 85 power. As well, his equipment would suffer 85 damage from the impact of the ash exploding, reducing the health of the Shinkou's sword and armored-claw to 15. As well, because of the pyro-cuastic nature of the ash, his opponent's equipment's health would be reduced by a further 70 points, causing them to disintegrate as the ash burns them into nothing.  

When the stone-encased Raleth arrives at a point 15 meters away from his opponent, the Breath of the Monkey king would be 17 meters away from his opponent and 3 meters from the stone-Raleth's right, while the charging ash-clone Raleth would be 19 meters away from the opponent and 5 meters from Raleth's right. All 3 would continue on their course, at their afformentioned speed, with Raleth aiming to combat his opponent in close quarters.

ODa had to give the monk some credit. He was quick on his feet. He bore witness as the man rushed at 100 speed 2 meters to the side of his technique. 2 wisps of smoke emerged from his mouth on either side of himself 5 meters to each side. Though ODa didn't see just how far the other wisp stretched, considering it stretched into range of his great fire annihilation. Though the other one took the formation of a clone of his. ODa assumed that the other had to be the same, and kept his great fire annihilation up just in case.

The one to his right, outside the range of the great fire annihilation, took forth with its master to approach the Yuumei master. The one to its left stayed out of sight. Unbeknownst to the Shinkou, it was quickly swallowed and killed by the flames since it chose to continue weaving a defensive jutsu that would never be finished instead of defending or escaping. One down, two to go.

The other two made no motions for hand signs or other techniques, instead being fully intent on getting as close as humanly possible. ODa pieced together quickly enough that it must've had something to do with a desire to attack at close range. With Raleth stating in his last post that he and his clones would continue their actions until Raleth was in close range, he was fully intent on continuing until he was 2 meters from his opponent. Unfortunately, he would never get the chance. As they raced across the field without preparing any attacks or defenses, ODa bid his time until he was ready to strike. When the time came, when Raleth had gotten 5 meters from his opponent, and his clone 11.5, both without any defenses or attacks at the ready, the great fire annihilation ended and another technique began immediately. Without handseals or warning ODa's palms turned out to face the monk as black flames erupted forth and roared forth in all directions at 230 speed and power up to 25 meters, fully intent on devouring the monk and his clone alive.

Now this fight was heating up...

[BREATH OF THE MONKEY KING WAS NOT ACTIVATED, AP WILL REFLECT THIS]

The two Raleth's would charge forward, the one weaving handseals would be 28 meters away from ODa, 2 meters to the right of his fire jutsu, as he was summoned directly behind the stone-encased Raleth as he charged forward. As he was near the fire annihilation, this Raleth saw the opponent's great inferno dissipate and could see him move his hands from holding the seal that sustained the great fire annihilation to turning his palms forward to face the charging stone-encased Raleth. The ash-clone raleth would transmit his vision and thoughts, informing the charging Raleth's in real-time, giving them a warning, allowing them to think of a defensive action as the enhanced opponent turns his palms. Without warning, dark and foreboding flames burst forth from ODa's outturned palm, rolling like a tidal wave that threatened to consume the charging Sarutobis. However, it would seem his opponent over-estimated his abilities and mastery of his jutsu, for the handsealess technique he activated would have been A rank as per his character sheet. As such, the power and speed of his Dark Vortex would be 145, well within the range for a defensive reaction from the earth-spear enhanced Raleth.

As ODa activates his jutsu, the stone encased Raleth is 5 meters away. As Raleth travels a meter,  the Dark vortex being faster, would travel two, making the distance between them 2 meters. By this time, the Dark vortex would be large, large enough to encompass the immense Raleth and large enough to hide him from his opponent's sight. 

Raleth shortens the distance from his opponent from 5 meters to 4 meters, he reacts to the dark vortex, bringing his hands up at 155 speed, to shield himself from the attack. The charging ash clone would stay directly behind the stone-encased Raleth, trailing behind by 5 meters and using him as a shield. He would begin weaving handseals for a defenisive jutsu.  As Raleth continues forward, he aims to run into his opponent's jutsu. Just before coming into contact with the dark vortex, he inhales.

Raleth continues forward, being only 3 meters from his opponent, his being is swallowed hole by the dark vortex. However, Raleth would not be affected by the foreboding flames. As the jutsu comes into contact with his guarded arms, Raleth would Block and reduce the power of the Dark Vortex by 50. His armor from his sustained earth spear reduces the damage by a further 75, which would leave only 35 points of health damage left over. Because of the resilience of Raleth, he tanks it, and the attack reduces his Dr by 35, leaving him with 5 left. As such, he brushes off the dark vortex and charges forward without losing any momentum.

As the dark vortex hits, Raleth would be 2 meters away from his opponent. Because of the size and scale of his jutsu, ODa would not be able to see the Sarutobi. Even with the chakra vision of his meigan, ODa's own chakra was currently flooding a dome with an area of 25 meters, blocking him from seeing Raleth's own chakra. After getting hit, as he charges forward, when his earthen-armor crumbles, Raleth exhales. His controlled breath increases his blood flow, to a level that energies his muscles and body. His muscle mass doubles, his eyes go white, and his skin glows crimson. After being hit by the technique and nullifying its damage, Raleth Sarutobi activates his Seven Heavenly Breaths, boosting his strength and speed to 165 and gaining a taijutsu barrier of 82 when he is 2 meters away from his opponent. The distance between the stone-encased raleth and the charging ash clone would be 6 meters, meaning the ash clone would be 8 meters away from Oda. At this point, the ash clone would stop, stand his ground and maintain the 8 meter distance from the Shinkou.


Now moving at 165 speed, the crimson Raleth continues to close the distance, charging through the flames and toward his opponent. When ODa's jutsu has traveled no more than 6 meters, after the time he would have expected the Sarutobi to be engulfed by the flames but well before it would reach it's maximum range of 25 meters, Raleth's crimson palm would burst from the flame of the dark vortex at 165 speed and the heel of his palm would strike the center of ODa's face. The attack would be very unexpected, as his opponent would not have had sight of Raleth after casting his jutsu. As well, Raleth made no readily-apparent actions before being obscured by the flames to indicate that he would be able to avoid the jutsu and, it was doubtful that ODa would expect the Sarutobi to have charged through his attack and be able to survive it unscathed and powered up, especially since he expected the attack to burn Raleth to cinders. And, Raleth's attack would happen while ODa was in the middle of channeling his chakra and expelling it for his jutsu, as such, he would not be able to cancel his jutsu and defend himself before Raleth's palm could land, even with the ODa's enhanced speed, because they are in close quarters. As such, Raleth's heel-palm-strike had a high degree of success.

ODa would feel a massive weight crash into his face, his nose and cheek bones would shatter upon contact, his head would jerk back and his brain would slam against the side of his skull. His knees would wobble and his arms would feel weak, his thoughts would slow and the world would spin. Even with his DR of 25, with Raleth's enhanced strength he would suffer 57 damage to his health. And his ordeal would not be over.

Should Raleth make contact with ODa, chakra would surge from Raleth's palm toward ODa instantaneously. From the weight of the blow, one would have expected ODa to be sent flying because of the difference in strength between the two shinobi. However, as ODa is concussed, he would feel a great weight crush his body. His hands, feeling like boulders, would fall to his side, his feet would sink into the ground, and his dark vortex would be forced to end before it traveled 7 meters. Under Raleth's Heavyweight Boulder Technique, ODa would see his speed decreased by 50 and his strength increased by 50. However, because ODa's strength is only 25, he does not have enough strength to move himself and would be stuck in place.

If Raleth's strike is allowed to connect and ODa is affected by the heavy weight boulder technique, Raleth would follow up and flow into his next attack. With his palm already opened and striking Oda's face, Raleth wraps his fingers around the boys head and crushes his skill. Because he is at the strength to shatter bone on contact, his fingers would pierce ODa's skull and dig into his brain. At this point ODa cannot move or defend himself, Raleth would continue applying pressure on the Shinkou's skull until he crushes it completely, killing ODa and winning the fight.

[CLAIMING HIT ON ODA BECAUSE HE IS IN THE MIDDLE OF ACTIVATING/CASTING DARK VORTEX]

ODa watched with what almost amounted to a bored indifference, marred only by a small sadistic smirk, as his jutsu flowed forth from his palms and raced towards the approaching monk. Unbeknownst to the Yuumei user, the man was under the impression that he somehow couldn't peer through his own technique with his chakra vision. A foolish and dangerous notion, as a Meigan user could easily gaze through their own Yuumei techniques with their chakra vision. Especially in one that wasn't designed to obscure sight. Because of this, ODa could watch with a bemused interest as the monk picked up incredible speed inside his technique, dropping his stone armor to reveal red and agitated skin beneath. Seems as though he was concealing it for the fight in hopes of using it as a triumph card. Still, he wasn't faster than the Shinkou, and he certainly wouldn't be fast enough to dodge this.

Since the monk was convinced that ODa couldn't see through the vortex, it only made sense that he couldn't see well either. Though even if he could, he wouldn't be able to see what ODa had in store. Just as he revealed the form brought on by his enhanced breathing, so too did ODa use a technique of his own. Reaching deep within his dark pool of energy, ODa channeled a technique that could only be used through his Monster enhancement, hardening the dark aura that had surrounded him for the fight at a speed of 230. Though nothing changed aesthetically, the Fear technique made a world of difference against an opponent like this.

Though the show wasn't over yet, and ODa was ready to end this game of theirs. Seeing the monk coming, and seeing that he was determined to make a palm strike, it left ODa free to make a strike of his own. The monk made his strike standing in front of the Shinkou, making no indication that he was coming from either the Shinkou's side or back. This placed him right in front of ODa's outstretched hand, still spewing black flames of Yuumei. Meaning that to attack they would both have to be standing at an arm's length apart from one another. All too easy. With ODa's fingers already pointing upwards due to his previous jutsu, the length that they were from one another, and the fact that the monk was facing the Shinkou face to face, it placed his hands right underneath the old monk's chin. That included the bladed chain gauntlet attached to ODa's hand.

They both made their attacks simultaneously, with the monk bringing his left palm forth from his side to strike at his nose, and ODa using the already outstretched hand to simply jab upwards, ODa moving at 180 speed when compared to the monk's 165. ODa jammed his five bladed fingers upwards through the soft space in between the monk's jaw bone, driving higher and higher through the tongue, the mouth's palate, and finally the brain. Warm blood trickled down the Yuumei's arm as a limp, lifeless hand collided against the barrier he had erected to defend against the old monk, blocking the powerful strike even with all the strength it could muster. The poor man was dead.

Though the man had fought well, he was no match for a shinobi such as ODa. Still, caution was necessary. Black flames were erupting from the man's mouth like a dragon, sputtering weakly from his lips as the Yuumei user continued to blast the flames through his body, frying his brain and innards. Eventually tired of holding the man's lifeless body up with his hand, the Shinkou slipped his hand from the once bloody wound, watching with interest as it instantly cauterized under the heat of the flame, and the monk's body dropped to the ground. It was over, and ODa had won.

"Rest in peace my friend. You fought well."

Raleth had underestimated ODa's chakra vision, as he charges through the flames and readies a strike to his opponent, he does not see surprise in his eyes, but expectancy. While Raleth strikes, he sees ODa's left, armored-claw arm coming up to his neck, at a speed greater than his. Yet, before ODa's claw pierces the Sarutobi's neck, Raleth's palm makes contact, not with the face of his opponent, but with the chakra that swirls around his body. Were this chakra barrier not there, Raleth would have been in trouble. 

Because of their size difference, Raleth's 6'2 to ODa's 5'11, Raleth would have longer reach, therefore his attack should reach ODa's face before his opponent's attack would make contact. But, because Oda's hand was already positioned to be under poised under his neck  and possessed a higher speed, this advantage would be negligible. Yet, the Chakra barrier, Fear, would have surrounded ODa and extended to an area 0.5 meters to, translating to about 1.5 feet. This would mean that Raleth's strike had less distance to travel. Noting the the Sarutobi's higher reach, his strike would connect to Fear before ODa's claws would pierce his neck, despite the difference in their speed. In the split second after striking Fear but before his opponent's claws pierce Raleth's neck, the crimson-skinned Sarutobi reacts. And, with the skill and flow a taijutsu master, he avoids the attacks.

When Raleth attacked with his heel palm strike, he did so with his right palm and his weight on his right foot. After striking the chakra barrier, before his neck is pierced, Raleth moves his left leg across from his right, shifts his weight, steps, pivots, turning profile to his opponent, on the outside of his opponent's thrusting claw. Because his opponent only jabbed his claw upwards and aimed for a spot under Raleth's jaw, the shift in the Sarutobi's orientation would cause the claws to collide with the bone of his chin and not the soft part under his mouth. As well, as he shifts his weight to his left leg, he is able to bend his knee and bring his chin back within the same motion as pivoting. In this shift, he'll bring his right foot and step Thus, in this split second, he avoids the attack at 215 speed and steps to ODa's direct left, out of the flames from the dark vortex.

As ODa strikes empty air, the instant after avoiding his attack and side stepping, Raleth activates his handsealess jutsu. The air around him is manipulated, the effect of gravity lessens, Raleth activated his lightweight boulder technique see's his strength reduced by 50, putting him at 115 strength, but his speed is increased, to 215. At this enhanced speed Raleth strikes at ODa's kidney. To ODa's dismay, this strike would connect. 

Shortly after jabbing with his clawed arm, the enhancement ODa would be under would deactivate and go on cool down. As would his impressive chakra barrier. Because of this, ODa's speed would return to its natural 100. Thus, his left arm would be out, stabbing at air, leaving his side exposed. And, Raleth's current speed would prevent any split-second reactions from ODa. As such, when the Shinkou would realize Raleth avoided the attack, he would feel a weight slam against his side, pain would ring inside his body and make his knees wobble as he Dr of 25 is overcome and he suffers 32.5 damage. And he would feel a great force exert itself upon his body, his feet would sink into the ground and his arms would fall to his side, to heavy for him to lift, as Raleth places him under his Heavy Weight Boulder Technique. After his heavy weight boulder connects, Raleth strikes ODa in the face with a left heel-palm-strike at 115 strength and 215 speed. As his palm connects, he deactivated his light weight boulder technique, bringing his strength to 165 and his speed to 165 and he wraps his fingers around the Shinkou's Skull. Like before, he crushes the defenseless ODa's skull, killing him.

The ash clone that had been charging with Raleth disappears as soon as Raleth strikes the Chakra Barrier. The one that lagged behind, being in communication with Raleth, changes his string of handseals, and forms new ones as Raleth side steps the Shinkou's Jab, before Raleth Launches his frist strike.

Claiming Hit and Kill because ODa is no longer enhanced, and no jutsu in his arsenal can prevent the first punch from landing.

It came to my attention that I should probably make an OOC post explaining exactly why I am calling a battlemod in to judge the situation.

On the last post for ODa, a kill shot was claimed against Raleth. Two posts ago, Raleth approached ODa and attempted a palm strike against ODa's face, which had a barrier .5 meters away. It was vagued on ODa's last post that this was attempted only once they had gotten within arm's reach of one another: "The monk made his strike standing in front of the Shinkou, making no indication that he was coming from either the Shinkou's side or back. This placed him right in front of ODa's outstretched hand, still spewing black flames of Yuumei. Meaning that to attack they would both have to be standing at an arm's length apart from one another"

Additionally, Raleth was vagued into both attacking starting from his side, implying that his arms were not in attacking position, and the two shinobi starting their respective attacks at the same time: "They both made their attacks simultaneously, with the monk bringing his left palm forth from his side to strike at his nose, and ODa using the already outstretched hand to simply jab upwards, ODa moving at 180 speed when compared to the monk's 165."

All of this culminates in the fact that ODa was currently pointing his arm out towards Raleth and possessed a chain gauntlet with spiked glove at the time that Raleth's attack was launched, meaning that when Raleth's palm strike was attempted, his head was located right above the gauntlet when he attempted the strike.

ODa attempted his attack (A jab upwards under Raleth's chin using the weapon to stab into the brain) at the same time as Raleth, and as his arm was already extended out in a position he could make the strike. Additionally, he possesses a faster speed than Raleth does at this point. With that being said, would Raleth's attack connect from its resting position to ODa's barrier before ODa's strike hit? And if so, would Raleth be additionally able to dodge the incoming 180 Speed Strike with his Split Second?
