Much like the Second Mizukage before her, Murata has sent out a message - for any Uchiha in the village who have awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan to report to the hospital for an urgent meeting with the Mizukage. Murata is unsure whether there will be any appropriate candidates, but with the village in Sunagakure's sights, she is forced to develop her borrowed bloodline as quickly as she can manage. In addition, she has requested Dana Senju's presence, and to the chuunin the reason for her presence will likely be obvious... well, unless she worries that she's going to be forced to repair her earlier 'prank'.

Murata waits in one of the hospital's meeting rooms, looking restless. It's been scant hours since her return from the Summit, and the hour is late.

It seemed another day of business was afoot. Well, technically late evening but Dana didn't really sleep much so the concept of time was pretty meaningless to her.

Dana strolled along the dark and mostly empty streets of Kirigakure, garbed in a rather subdued - for her - outfit consisting of a lime green jumper and dark trousers. It was a rather cold night, so she'd also set out to warm herself up with some gloves, a scarf, and a purple bobble hat. Overall, she looked to be quite the clash of poorly contrasting colours but - judging from her happy hums - she didn't seem to mind much. She'd gotten a letter of summons to go to the hospital to perform a transplant on Murata, the Mizukage, again. It was nice to know that she'd done a good enough job at transplanting last time that she'd been asked to do it again. Dana, of course, had forgotten about the fact that she'd purposely put one of Murata's organs in the wrong way around last time.

For the sake of brevity, Dana soon arrived at the hospital and followed the directions from the various members of staff present to arrive at the door to the meeting room where Murata was waiting for her. Dana knocked politely and would wait for the Mizukage to call her in before doing so.

Gael Uchiha woke up this morning with a letter under his doormat. Letting out a sigh dressed in his official attire of his tan ponoch. His baggy pants, and open-toe sandals his tanto strap along his back. As he bends down he picks up the letter his long hair touching his shoulders. Gael had sigh as he open up the letter.

As he pops open the seal of the letter he pulls out the context of the letter revealing it to be a simple paper. Gael stuff the letter into his pocket as he open up the paper it read its instructions it said," Any available Uchiha who have attained the power of Mangekyo Sharingan report to Hospital." Gael ponder on what he just read for a moment was this the power he just achieve? He knew Sharingan had 3 stages was this new stage known as Mangekyo Sharingan.

Thinking back at what Adam said about not using the power until he reaches grade letter C. He had to wonder was it a good idea to further see what it can do or just to see what the Mizukage wanted with him.

He wasn't sure if it was a good idea to reveal his power maybe he could bargain for something more. Yes, maybe he could learn some more techniques in exchange for helping the Kage with whatever he needed.

Balling up the paper as he place it into his pocket he quickly made his way to the hospital. Yes after some time had passed he had arrived a little bit after the Chunin knock on the door. Gael was of course told where to go by the front desk upon telling them here was here to see the Mizukage.

He didn't say much he didn't know what to say other than to nod his head in a greeting as he didn't want to disturb the woman who was currently busy. Besides she was first, and he would wait his turn before he just goes in or be summoned in front of the room by his superiors.

Upon being invited in Gael would walk into the building if a sit was an offer he would sit if he wasn't then he would lean against the wall. Gael was no animal he was sure to be his proper greeting upon meeting his superior. Making sure to stand at attention would speak to when he talked, and when he wasn't he would relax.

Murata opens the door for Dana, looking tired and troubled. She ushers the young woman in, looking around the corner after her. Seeing Gael approach, and recognizing him from the tournament, she waves for him to step in as well. Seeing no other visitors forthcoming, she closes the door behind her and steps back into the meeting room.

With the two standing at attention, Murata looks over the pair, expression grim.

"Thank you both for coming so late. I'm going to be making a formal announcement in the coming hours," Murata says. "I've declared war on Sunagakure and negotiated the terms of Konohagakure's financial independence going forward."

Neither news item on its own would be a terrible shock. She hadn't released the news of the previous summit and the assassination attempt for no reason at all. Both, at the same time, is more interesting. Suna's apparent cause for hostility had been Konohagakure's subjugation, and the attack in years prior has not even merited a mention in recent times. What is the motive to not even entertain de-escalation? Xyxer's hostility would be absolutely reasonable - but why hide it? Is there something she's missing? Sheer stubbornness?

"What this means is that Kirigakure needs to make full use of all tools at her disposal." Murata turns her gaze to Gael, and her own eyes turn scarlet, the whorled black rings of her Mangekyo patterns eerie in the fluorescent lighting. "Gael. I summoned you here because you have activated the Mangekyo Sharingan. Is that correct?" Upon a confirmation, she will continue. "Its powers come at an inevitable cost. Each use of it will strain your eyes until you eventually go blind. There's a way to stop that degradation - to exchange for another pair. This will awaken the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan for both parties. I have reason to believe that there are further secrets of the bloodline that can only be explored once this is done."

Huh, it seemed that something had happened in between Dana's and Murata's last meeting and this one. It hadn't been that long, had it? Dana couldn't really remember. What she could remember, however, was that Murata had been rather chipper and jovial the last time they'd met, and now she definitely wasn't. For once, the white-haired Senju remained quiet and just shuffled into the room as Murata gestured, and only then did Dana notice that someone else was behind her. She gave the new guy a pleasant smile and a small wave and then stood at attention in front of Murata. Well, Dana's version of attention which involved a lot of shuffling and fidgeting because she couldn't stand still, but it was the thought that counted.

As Murata delivered the bombshell that Kirigakure was going to be entering into a war with Suna, Dana's face... Didn't change. She wasn't all too fussed about some war, even if she'd likely be one of the people fighting in it. All she needed was to make sure that her friends and the people she cared about remained safe. A war... That was pretty bad though, right? Death was bad, which was something she had learned from her friends. That meant that a lot of death happening in a short period of time was extra bad. Dana didn't know how to react, other than just showcasing her inner feelings of impassiveness.

Dana remained silent as Murata addressed the other guy - Gael, she learned his name from Murata saying - as she pondered her part in all of this. It seemed that Dana was going to be performing another transplant as she'd suspected, but this time it was going to be a swap of sorts instead of what it had been before. Seemed easy enough, so Dana remained silent whilst the two this would be affected talked.

Gael step into the room like h was told and stood at the proper position of attention. Only relaxing his body when he didn't talk, and when listening. At any other time, he would be in the position of attention to address his superiors. Listening to the Mizukage words Gael carefully comb through the Kage words.

He even took it a step further as he closely examine the body language of all within the room. There was much to absorb in this conversation, and according to the Mizukage.

Gael wasn't in any rush as of now so when Mizukage first spoke Gael just listen. The words of his superior were, "Thank you both for coming so late. I'm going to be making a formal announcement in the coming hours,"
The young genin nodded his head in approval.

As Gael continues to listen to his superior's words as he continues to speak, "I've declared war on Sunagakure and negotiated the terms of Konohagakure's financial independence going forward."

Gael wasn't surprised about the declaration of war against Suna. Kirigakure no Sato previous Mizukage was attacked by Sunagakure at the last summit so it was safe to assume that the new Kage wouldn't let that fly.
However, Gael didn't show anybody's movement or change of facial expression because this was no shock to him. But what the Mizukage said next Gael carefully listen.

"What this means is that Kirigakure needs to make full use of all tools at her disposal."
Gael's gears within his mind begin to turn as Gael begin to think about the words the Mizukage just said. Did the Mizukage see most shinobi within the village as a tool? To be used whenever, and toss away when you hold no further use?

However, Gael didn't speak instead he continue to listen to his superior's last statement. Which was, " Gael. I summoned you here because you have activated the Mangekyo Sharingan. Is that correct?" Gael wasn't too sure if he should be honest with the Mizukage but he was here, and no reason to waste his superior time. Nodded his head in approval to the Mizukage question.

He figures, whatever happens, is going to happen especially. If he can't control the outcome. As Gael listen to the last words that the Mizukage said," Its powers come at an inevitable cost. Gael simply nodded his head to the Mizukage statement because he understood. Now it was time to reply of course with respect. But first Gael had to look at the facts the Mizukage body language seems to have been in a state of distress. Taking into account this information and the people within the room. Gael understood what the Mizukage asked of him. That was to exchange his eyes with the Mizukage. As Gael sigh, he combs through all the information at this point that was given to him. Now he know what the Mizukage wanted now he had to find a common goal.

He didn't want to step on the feet of his superior or piss them off. So his words choice he decides carefully as he cleared his voice Gael said," I see than it no other choice I agree. However, in exchange for me putting my trust into this operation, and you. I ask for 2 simple things. The first is I am allowed to come with you to Konohagakure, and be able to learn, and have dibs on 2 village exclusive techniques."

Gael knew what he asked for was a gamble, however, may be the Mizukage would understand. After all his clan is very proud of their bloodline. So to simply give up this power to his Kage he must get something to show to his fellow clan members. He knows how they feel about none clan members attaining the power of Sharingan.

But this was a win-win even if Kage refuse his offer he had the chance to unlock Eternal Mangekyo which was a wonderful development. The question is would Dana be able to successfully pull off this operation without issue. As of now, Gael awaited further development. He wasn't rude to anyone upon being greeted by Dana upon his first arrival he of course wave back.

Murata blinks, silent for a moment. Then she breaks out into laughter.

"Twice in one night," she says, still giggling from some private joke, wiping a tear from her eye. "I can't believe it. Aha - alright, Gael, here's what I can do for you." She straightens up, fighting back her smile. He's a ballsy one, isn't he? Murata saw his fight with that girl, she knows he isn't ready for that kind of technique. He must be trying to secure his future as soon as possible. It's sensible enough.

"You absolutely have a choice - I didn't come off like this wasn't voluntary, did I?" she says, sounding doubtful of herself, looking to Dana for confirmation. "It was the same thing at the summit. I need to fix the way I speak to people. Anyway - I can't train you the village's secret techniques before you're ready. Not for my own personal benefit. That would be an abuse of the trust the village has placed in me. However!"

Murata claps her hands together eagerly, a devilish smile on her face. She isn't sure how he figured that she was going to the Leaf, but it works well for both of them.

"If you accompany me to Konohagakure, you will earn the spoils of that mission fair and square. As soon as you are ready to learn them, I will allow you access to the two secret techniques that we are going there to retrieve. Does that sound fair?"

Gael watches carefully as the Mizukage blinks for a moment then bursts into laughers. Did Gael say a joke maybe he miss something, however, in this case, it seems like whatever it did cause an effect on his superior? Should he be wary of his superior power or this current situation before him?

Gael's train of thought was interrupted Mizukage's speedy reply soon after his laugher.
"Twice in one night," Gael had pondered on the words of his superiors making sure to remain in the position of attention after all his superior earn that must respect.

"I can't believe it. Aha - alright, Gael, here's what I can do for you." Great, this was what Gael wanted to be able to compromise with his superior this wasn't one side deal like he thought it would be. However, it was best not to let his guard down just yet so he continue to listen to the Mizukage words.

Gael shrug at this comment he wasn't sure what kind of approach the Mizukage was looking for so he gave his honest reply. Which was he didn't know however, he hope he wouldn't regret this development. As Gael continue to listen to the Kage continue speak he comb through each word meaning carefully. He didn't want to confuse the wording his superiors within Gael mind this group of words repeat in Gael mind.

"It was the same thing at the summit. I need to fix the way I speak to people. Anyway - I can't train you the village's secret techniques before you're ready. Not for my benefit. That would be an abuse of the trust the village has placed in me. However!"

After the Mizukage clasped her hands together Gael didn't move instead continue to listen. Closed his eyes for a brief second. As he nodded his head in approval. Gael Uchiha's eyes shine crimson red momentarily flickering on his Mangekyo Sharingan for those within the room to see.

After the Mizukage spoke Gael was sure to reply shortly after he did this by clearing his voice and asking for permission to speak.
Upon being granted permission to speak he would say, " A well thought out comprise than who me to refused. I will exchange my eyes for yours, and you do the same. However, in the future I hope to keep your word as is it is your bond in this world. If you don't have money at least you have your word."

There was nothing left to say or do upon finishing up his statement he relax his body. As he wasn't talking nor was anyone talking to him so there was no need for him to return to the permission of attention right now. But at the moment he was addressed or some harmful attention happen he would react based on the issue at hand.

Through the brief exhange between Gael and Murata, Dana remained silent but took everything they said in. This whole thing about the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan was immensely interesting to the young woman, but she couldn't figure out why. It was like a small tug at the back of her mind reminding her that it was something important, but the specifics eluded her. It was just like whenever the flashes of memories of her life before Kirigakure appeared in her mind, but never enough to get a full picture; It was one of the few things that genuinely upset her.

After Gael finished speaking and relaxed, Dana sensed her time to speak was here. She stepped forward, looking towards Murata.

"Are we going to be doing this eye swap in here? Or have ye got a room for us already?" Dana asked curiously, already mentally preparing for the surgery. Whether they decided to just do it on the floor in this room or in an actual operating theatre, Dana wanted to make sure she didn't mess things up.

Murata nods to the pair, stepping out and holding the door for them. "I've got a room ready nearby."

The small operating room is quiet and empty, unlike the small bustle of Dana's previous work. Murata leans against a counter, leaving the surgical bed for Gael if he deigns to take it. Murata takes a deep breath. "Don't put me under this time," she says. "I don't think I'll be able to let my guard down for a good while."
