Strolling through Kumogakure with an uncharacteristic gusto in her step, Moeri gracefully maneuvers her way toward the Thunderpeak Campus she adores so greatly. Her navy locks have been pulled into a ponytail this time, that flicks to and fro behind her with every bountiful step she takes to carry herself further forward. A pale blue skirt reaching just beneath her knees and a black sweatshirt with a collar matching her aforementioned lower clothing covers her torso and arms alike. Unlike her previous ventures, she does not bear any of her kunoichi gear, that being inclusive of her forehead protector and any storage pouches.

She openly carries two mission scrolls with her, one of which she's currently tending to the whereabouts of. Fortunate enough to have learned that the details of the first mission and its location are right by Thunderpeak, Moeri figures she may as well kill two birds with one stone. Commoners had sighted an irregular cube of dead matter previously belonging to... someone(?) or something. While the details are vague, it's not as though she needs much to go off of to know what to do with the cube. It's only natural that she has to get rid of it, and remove it from public sight to avoid further discourse.

Even Moeri personally would find herself abhorred to run into such a thing, especially if she's tending to her usual agenda in just handling standard, day-to-day life. A large part of her ponders how many people have had to deal with the displeasure of seeing it already, something that attributes to the pace that Moeri's currently taking in getting there. At the same time, her more curious side is actively wondering how exactly it turned up, considering it's directly along one of the paths to the campus that she's traveled several times before. Yet, among all those times in the past months she's never actually seen anything up until now.

Was there something bigger to this? Was she actually blind?
... Hell. Did some idiot just happen to drop it? Not that she wants to consider who would carry such a thing around, and why they would. Her active imagination nearly winds up causing her to move past the very destination that she's been powerwalking toward.

Fortunately, the smell more than anything is what reminds her of what she's coming up upon as she reaches the top of the steps to one of many mountains. Rancid, rotten and draped in the scent of dried-blood is one good way she can describe the previously quaint walkway, now disrupted by the entourage of civilians skirting about and leaving a tremendous distance between themselves and the.. cube.

Resisting an instinctual urge to do the same, Moeri approaches directly, pinching her nose in the midst. Chakra is summoned up from her core as she brings her hands together, casually weaving a sequence of hand seals in quick succession. Issuing a plume of inner energies to fund this technique of hers, she extends her hand forward albeit regretfully. Meager touch through her fingertip is applied, before the cube is visibly surrounded in her chakra and sucked into... nothing. Torn away from reality into the bounds of spatial storage, the organic cube is left no more and the cause ascends, carrying on like nothing's occurred.

Meandering onward, the Raiten'no steadily encroaches upon Thunderpeak, having slowed her pace dramatically with the absence of suspicious public viscerae en route. She'll be certain to turn in the scroll later for handling that mission, but for the time being Moeri enters her favorite chapel-esque building to help tend to the very literature-bearing location she typically only goes to for the purpose of reading. Showing her mission scroll to the clerk, Moeri immediately tends to figuring out her options for duties to take care of throughout the library. Heading into employee space, she retrieves a cart of books and heads back out into the library itself.

From there the rest is essentially autopilot, with the genin swapping out some of the marred copies of books with fresh ones, or simpler assuring that there's enough copies on the shelves. Between those replacement sequences are the occasional customers asking where a certain book is or inquiring about a genre to something. And while she has by no means read the entirety of the literature that Thunderpeak has to offer, it's a subject she can help decently in. All in all, Moeri does a fairly impressive job with doubling as what may as well be an actual worker at the library when it's regarding information.

Of course, a library cannot ever go without the staple trouble of some people making too much noise, or just being a general disruption. Not an hour goes by that Moeri isn't cracking down on someone's child spilling books everywhere and running off to another aile to do the same, for the sake of giggles and amusement. And if it isn't that it's one merely attempting to steal a book from their section - typically coloring books. Compared to adults doing this sort of thing though, it's far more innocuous and easy to put a stop to. After all, it's easy to leave the impression upon their mind that it's advised against to do such a thing in the future. But they are not on their lonesome with regard to theft attempts.

Considering the arguably 'brutish' nature of Kumogakure's culture, Moeri never expected people to test positions of authority or at the very least individuals capable of dishing out harm for punishment or self-defense. Yet, that's exactly the scenario that nearly boils over into a physical quarrel several times throughout the day. While she does manage to diffuse it whenever it comes about, it's no less stressing to see beginning to rile up. By the time Moeri reaches the end of her day, she's mentally washed - and all too eager to take a nice, much needed break from being at Thunderpeak. As much as she loves the place, this mission imprints a genuine disinterest in those that go there by the time she's done.
