Things have settled down for Zeo as he had recovered from his fight with Enishi. Though things seemed tense in the village, Zeo tried his best to keep up his duties and work as a shinobi of the village. This job used to be much for him, but now it was a very common routine for him as he enjoyed coming out to this part of the village and lending a hand. The village green house. A place for many of the herbs and remedies to be grown and gathered. His latest aid to it was securing the elusive ghost flower-- after a rogue ninja decided to try and kill anyone who came for her stash of it she was growing in the caves. It was a long story that Zeo was glad he could get through and rise in respect from his peers for accomplishing the difficult mission. Truth was he was doing more missions alone and should have worked with a legitimate team.

For now, D rank and easier jobs were things he could handle as daily chores and enjoyed being a positive force in Hoshi's daily life. He soon ented the green house to assess the situation. As always it was brimming with green and vibrant plants, rare and beautifully colored flowers. It was a welcoming scene that made Zeo want to consider having his own flowers in his small apartment.

"Hey, it's been a while. Zeo. Welcome!" a voice spoke to Zeo, catching his attention. It was the tender of the garden, a grown up woman with short hair and a green apron for working in the garden. "Look at you. You're looking more mature since that scrawny little kid who seemed so down all the time."

Zeo half-frowned as he glanced at the gardener. "HI there. Glad to be back. Sorry for being away so long. Things got complicated after the chunin exams."

"Oh you mean like you dramatically fell out of the running?" she said with clear jest.

However, Zeo glanced away, feeling ashamed. His defeat, came with the reward of learning about his powers-- and making a new invaluable friend whom ironically defeated him. "I uh... hmmm..." Zeo stammered.

"Hey! Hey! I'm just kidding!" she countered. "You did amazing and you became a Chunin regardless. Congratulations. Believe me, everyone saw how hard you fought. You wouldn't of been promoted if you didn't perform well. You wowed many people who watched. "

Zeo humbly nodded, understanding her jest. Still her words held some weight. People DID notice, good and bad. It only be a matter of time for people to come after him, wanting his eyes. Just as so many would gun for those with the Sharingan or the organs of rare clan members who had superior power. It was inevitable and Zeo had to learn all he could to protect himself.

"Hey, you okay? Im sorry if I struck a nerve," she said cheerfully, now up close to Zeo to snap him out of his fog of thought.

Startled, Zeo stepped back and raised his hands. "No, it's okay. I'm sorry. Just thinking. I appreciate your kind words. Anyway I'm glad to be able to help out here and able to serve as a Chunin. " he said as he looked to the flowers and plants. "Did you water and tend to the planets yet?"

"Nope. So feel free to use what jutsu you want to water them." she encouraged, having always enjoyed his use of water style.

Zeo approached the plants with a gentle breath and drew out his bubble pipe. He always enjoyed every opportunity to use his bubble jutsu as he soon raised it to his mouth and blew out several bubbles, a few per each puff to float in the space of the green house. The bubbles hovered and spread out, reaching the cealings of all the plants, even the higher ones in planters for higher altitute. They drifted to Zeo's whim, as he adjusted by mere gestures of his hands. At the end, he soon raised his hand with fingers together. He gave a swift and sharp snap-- which caused what happened next.

Each bubble popped in turn, releasing a shower of water upon the plants. First as a liquid and further mist around the surrounding area. It was a trick he was able to do far easier now than he had when he first picked up the skill. The scattered water generally coated the plants with ease, making things far easier for the staff at the green house.

"Wow... you always make watering the plants far more fun than it should be," the gardener said with amusement. Zeo puffed out a few more bubbles, adding more water to the plants in further corners.

"Glad you enjoy it . " he said as he allowed the other bubbles to drift and pop in the other unreached positions of the green house.

A few minutes passed and Zeo had watered the whole garden. As always the caretaker was very gracious in his efforts. He was soon paid for the efforts and he made his way out.

As he did, something caught his attention. A stir of motion and the sound of moving shrubbery caught his attention. Followed by a defining hiss and rattle. Crawling out was indeed a snake, with a rattle tail whcih gave way of the kind of snake it was. The poisonous rattle snake sneaked out towards Zeo, curious and interested in taking a bite of him. Zeo however, remained perfectly still and calm facing the beast. The gardener soon saw it and grew alarmed. "Zeo! Careful get away from that!" she cried.

The alarm from the gardener caused the snake to hiss and bear its head up, preparing to strike.

However, Zeo had his eyes closed for a brief moment, not allowing himself to move-- till he snapped open his eyes to reveal his Uchugan. The eyes caught the snake's eyes, entrancing the serpent. The snake stopped, its hissing and rattling paused for a moment. Without a single move or gesture, Zeo's genjutsu had actually charmed the snake.

As if to change its mind, or simply loose interest, the snake stopped its venomous hissing and slithered back down the garden path-- towards the door and out into the wilds. A simple genjutsu that showed the snake an only path out and calmed its threatened mood.
