Retirement Calling (Training Flashback)

If a person is absolutely free, how do they stop themselves? Pondering, Maneku stands with his blanky as he travels some rice fields. The freedom to go endlessly can make a person lose sight of where they should limit themselves. In Maneku's case, he has traveled without any problems, and has been lucky as a missing ninja. A while ago, Maneku had never imagined himself to be in this situation, but deep down he had always wanted it. Calculating how to not be abused for his Tau heritage grew tiresome. By going place to place, it's harder for a person to care for any needless defilements Maneku might create. Still, to this day, Maneku has never integrated the hearts of another into himself. Why can't Maneku use his bloodline properly?
Some things can be ignored for a long time. After Maneku improved his abilities, he didn't lack for hunger. When Maneku has spent so much time on better things, he had decided at a point that he didn't need his bloodline at all. A bloodline doesn't necessarily become a best option for survival. If Maneku were to ever touch another's heart, it'd become a crossed line. Keeping himself ignorant like by sealing his senses has saved Maneku many troubles by overthinking. Relying on others and clones figures out the most useless things. The brain can be a silent killer, and Maneku's already becoming lazy in his ninja pursuits.
Enough knowledge is possessed to have been satisfied by lost opportunities long ago. Maneku doesn't want to storage small amounts of money though, and he looks away from the rice patty fields. Nothing to glorify as worthy of his time remains in this area.

The safety of frustration hides important focuses. Enjoying the scenery and educating himself on farm-life, Maneku's almost ready to put aside his biases. Then, Maneku realizes his reality of pursuit, where he cannot drop his guard as swimmingly. Traveling to this place, Maneku's main goal is to try to find security for himself. Security can be mental, emotional, physical, or companionship. An equal security isn't what Maneku wants though, he wants a sacrificial one. Unfortunately, it's not easy to find security that will sacrifice itself, and thus Maneku needs to take risks. Roaming the soft lands, prospecting has been done enough where Maneku isn't that interested in the food selection. One of Maneku's probing hands is empty-handed, like grasping useless grains of watched sand.
There are other castles to conquer, rather than feeding himself randomly. Shifting the statuses of a better village will let Maneku stay in a place. Shelter is better than food, since Maneku can hide in anyone's house. Pain from hunger is a waiting game for prey to appear. Having decided to not invade anywhere, Maneku just figures he'll gather information steadily. A lack of pain from hunger is possible with Maneku's skillset now. Accepting people's perspective is easier without the pains of drawing their happiness. Without being able to release genjutsu, Maneku just considers himself in a constant world of potential illusion. Once there's money and summons, Maneku can buy all the security he might want.
Wandering will always lack security though, and Maneku hopes he can create a better place than what's most recently made. Consistency and reliability on another, Maneku has lacked this. When blemishes are too frequent, it's Maneku's choice to find security in steady solitude. Creating copies of his preferences is the ultimate reliability. A home is best found in someone or something else, but Maneku cannot afford to. Beauty can be ruined in a moment, it's best to take on the many places of others. The next project is to steal from a worthy deity instead of random ransacking, like Maneku tries for today. Entire economies and legends can be easily stolen in a moment, it's a waste to pointlessly continue in error. Maneku thought he needed a jutsu to summon, which was a pleasant mistake. Most mistakes planned out thoroughly end up being used for something else.

It's easier to scout with clones, and find self-awareness to boredom. Isolating himself from threats loses the mystique of faltering. Maneku wouldn't mind living on an island, or to create a dimension of his own rather than be in another's cycle. Without fighting or judgment, Maneku just wants to see an interesting path. Not everyone is owed a good death, but Maneku knows he has many chances. When there's unlimited chances, Maneku hopes he has the most interesting life. Each moment looking forward to a response doesn't sate Maneku's greed for growth. Watching the plants makes Maneku think of different bloodlines. In comparison to others, Maneku's bloodline is relatively dull but cooly goth. Finding someone willing to share their bloodline knowledge isn't Maneku's idea of growth. Even if Maneku was aware of bloodline sharing, he doesn't care to know how many monstrosities can be made.
Keeping trophies that aren't shiny isn't what Maneku wants. Over anything else, Maneku needs to fulfill his desire for money. Missions are a waste of time in some ways, since they make so little money. All Maneku can do is prep himself to find alternative means. The most common path is the most belittling path of how to use himself. Maneku shouldn't be trying to encounter the most lowly of farmers. The base desires being reflected on is all Maneku's here for. To realize what's been forsaken and unneeded shows the perspective to eat better. Crawling and digging through fields of boredom will eventually find a rarer seed. Twitching his eyes, Maneku's psyche cracks, as he looks to some trees bordering the farmland. A cat watches Maneku, who gently ignores it.
