Blood Will Be Spilt [Private]

Inuzuka, Kaito awoke early one morning to the sounds of tapping upon his window. He had to fight his body in order to get himself out of his bed, his body still hurting from the events of the night before. In fact, he had actually fallen asleep in all of his clothes, which was unusual for the boy. Thanks to his body aching all over and his head pounding profusely, he knew for a fact that the events of the previous night were not a mere dream.

'We were actually transported to another dimension...' He thought, remembering encountering a lot of his comrades there as well; Guren, Sebastian, Yusuke, and another man named Niento whom the Inuzuka had never met beforehand. 'But... how?'

Kaito didn't have much time to contemplate the how and why of his having been transported to that weird dimension as the tapping on his bedroom window continued relentlessly.

"I'm coming, I'm coming."" He advised, holding his head with his left hand as he opened his window. He would be greeted by the sight of a raven. Attached to it was a small scroll that had been wrapped around its ankle. Confused, as Kaito had not been expecting any letters, he unhooked the scroll from the raven before petting the beautiful black bird as he read the letter. It had been sent from his fellow genin, Hinoishi. The other shinobi wanted to meet with Kaito and speak with him in regards to a matter of upmost importance; an invitation to join Hinoishi in a two-on-two match at the Bloodworks Arena.

"Hmm..."" Kaito pondered for a few moments as he allowed the raven to perch upon his finger and gave it some feed from the bottle of it he had sitting on his windowsill. He was very much interested as it would give both him and Hinoishi a chance to show the other villagers what they were made of, and most importantly it would show the Kazekage that they were ready for anything that would come their way.

This went even more so for Kaito should the Kazekage still give the boy the position of Chunin.

Kaito nodded his head before grabbing a small parchment of paper and scribbling a message upon it, address to Hinoishi.

'I'll meet you at the Grove in thirty minutes. - Kaito'

Kaito would wrap up the scroll before tying it securely to the raven's ankle again. He would allow the raven to snack a bit more before taking it back to the window and allowing it to fly back to wherever the Uchiha had sent the message from. From there, Kaito would take the time to remove his dirty and tattered clothes before hoping into a warm shower and changing into a much more casual outfit; a dark-green skintight tank top, loose-fitting khaki cargo shorts tied tightly to his waist by a brown leather belt, and black open-toed sandals. He didn't bother wearing the cloth turban or bandages he normally wore upon his head but did make sure to put in into its normal ponytail fashion. This also allowed the deep scar from his training session with Hinoishi, Yusuke, and Sumiko to be shown freely as well, which was something that Kaito took much pride in.

After having gotten himself ready, Kaito would walk downstairs and grab a slice of toast that his mother had just finished preparing.

"I'm heading out. Got something to take care of, so I'll be back in a bit.""

With that, he exited from the front door. Just down the road was a small equipment store, which Kaito would make a point of stopping into to look around. It is there he would find two things that would be nessescities for their battle in the arena; wireless radios and corpse sealing scrolls. As looting was acceptable in the arena, Kaito figured that he might as well pick some up. He would buy two of the radios and the scrolls before continuing over to the Grove. Once he arrived, he could already see Hinoishi awaiting his arrival.

"Hey, Hino! I'm here!"" He called, the plastic bag from the store still in hand.

Hinoishi ran up to Kaito as the Inuzuka entered the threshold into the Grove. He too was wearing a rather familiar looking armor, known as the Senbonzakura Armor. Kaito recognized it from his time at the Sakura Festival in that odd dimension he had been transported to, and the fact that Hinoishi also had a set on his person meant that he too had been transported to that other world and survived.

'If Hino was able to escape from that place unharmed, I think he really is ready for the Bloodworks Arena...'

On the way to meet with Hinoishi, Kaito had begun to have some doubts that either of them were truly ready to take part in the battles that occurred at the arena. Not that he doubted the boy's skills in any way, but all of fights there were to the death, and there would be no mercy to be spared. Looting too was allowed from Kaito's understanding of how it all worked, so that would mean that their opponents would not hold back when it came to Hinoishi's Sharingan. With the both of them having been able to survive that other world, however, all of this doubt was flushed away form Kaito's subconscious instantly.

Hinoishi wasted no time in greeting Kaito and asking what it was that he carried in the plastic bag.

"Oh, just a few things that may help us get the upper hand in the arena." Kaito sat the bag upon the ground at his feet and removed from it one of each of the wireless radios and corpse sealing scrolls. "This first thing here is a wireless radio. I figured we could use it that way we aren't shouting out our plans to the enemy and we can coordinate better. The second thing here is called a "corpse sealing scroll". Looting is allowed in the arena from my understanding and this scroll can be used to seal a body in it without it rotting." Kaito would toss both items to Hinoishi before picking the bag back up from the ground. "I got one of each for myself as well, so this should be a cakewalk."

Kaito would begin walking over to a bench just behind Hinoishi and he would motion or the Uchiha to join him.

"Now, lets go talk some strategy. I don't want either of us to have to seal the other in one of these scrolls."
