To Oceanside [fishing tournament travel]

Katsuragi is now seen making his way towards the settlement’s entrance gates, it was quite a relief to see then. Life here was a bit slow, too slow for a city kid like Katsuragi to enjoy. However, there were some individuals who made quite the impression on the hustler. In fact, one of thise said impressions were on their way over to meet up with Katsuragi.

It was a Tau, who went by the name Hiko. He seemed like good company, and could use a bit if that in the up coming future. A guy like Katsuragi needed help in the profession he was in. Not much was known about the Tau, but with the up coming fishing tournament he figured this would be a good chance to get to know a little more about his little friend with the scar. Perhaps maybe he might be able to hold a concersation with him without mentioning the scar. One could only hope...

The Fishing Contest was held near the oceanside, so travel plans were made for the two to make their way from the rice paddies to the fishing spot where officals would guide the participants from there. That’s if his little Tau friend would show up of course.

He now stands erect in front of the gates, couple meters away from thecgate guard as he waited with his hands in his jacket pockets. He looks suspect as ever in his attire.

Katsuragi's attire consisted of a thin black polyester jacket, which underneath he wore a solid sleeveless navy blue shirt. His belt, designer's choice, had a MK emblem as a buckle. The pants he wore were a fresh pair of black stretch jeans. His boots on his feet also being solid black of a leather material with an emblem labeled "EU", it's made of metal stitched to the tongue of the boots. His hair, still vivid, was a solid dark purple. His hair would have went in contrast with his pale skin, however, his arms torso and hands bore a mural of mostly assorted prison tattoos; all black ink in color. He himself stood at a height of 6'2 feet with a thin frame. His tools and such were all assorted evenly along his attire, given no hint to their whereabouts yet allowed him easy access with a little bit of technique

After being teleported back to the village of Tanbogakure, Hiko wasn’t entirely sure on what exactly to expect next. The whirlwind of events which had taken place a mere hour or two before arriving back had sent the mind of the 16 year old into somewhat of a whirlwind. Everything had happened so fast really, but hey, some money had been made so at the end of the day, he wasn’t really going to complain about it. On that same note, the rogue did manage to find himself a travel partner. Katsuragi; a man just like himself. Eyes consistently set on money and the sorts. Up to this point, the two had gotten along quite well, so hopefully they could keep this stroke of luck up. The two would need it after all.
 
With that in mind, the Tau would pack up his things from where he was currently staying within the village as the two were about to head out for the current fishing contest which was taking place now. Maybe they would come across something else within their travels, but only time could tell for that. For now, the relatively short teen would just do what was planned.
 
Walking through the streets of Tanbo, it was relatively nice outside. The day seemed to be pretty much average up until here. No extreme weather conditions, but it was starting to get a tiny bit cloudy out. Not so much so to where it had blotted out the sun and its rays of dazzling light, but enough to cast a different shade upon the land. Things had start to become a bit grayer, and people’s moods certainly reflected this fact. Numerous villagers and ordinary citizens were seen going back inside, rather disheartened by a potential oncoming storm. This fact though, still wouldn’t stop Hiko. He’d just continue along his way towards the village gates where he was expected to meet his newfound partner in crime; the brown and neutral tones of his outfit was the only thing to really match the air of the current environment.
 
A few moments of walking had lead him to the intended destination; the boy had taken notice that Kat was already there waiting for him. In the distance, but still while drawing near the other ninja, he’d call out ”Oi, you ready to go?” There was a sense of urgency in his voice. Judging from the looks of things, his companion had felt likewise.

Moments later, a yelled came from behind, Katsuragi scanned the distance after turning around to the opposite side. He finally sees Hiko, sauntering towards him.

“Yo! Sup kid!, he shouts back. The many civilians looks around, wondering what these two were up to. A questionable looking man who waas dressed up like a drug dealer, and another with a questionable scar that screamed habitual offender..., or was that Katsuragi? No matter, after the two finally got close enough, katsuragi greeted him with a decent jab on hiko’s left shoulder. Nothing too hard, not enough to break anything, just a light jab.

“You ready for dis lame fishing contesting? Can’t believe this backwater town actually has some form of entertainment.  Shit, I almost left. But, that cash money prize?! 25k, that’s enough entertainment for me to stick around for a bit more...”, he leans in a bit more after taking a few looks around to see if anyone was listening. The quesrionable crowd wasnt within earshot, so he figured all was well.

“Plus I got that good ole hash to help us ride the waves once we get out to fish..., nah mean? You smoke right?”, he whispered. He used his right hand to block his mouth during the whole conversation. His supply was well stocked this time, tucked deeply within his inner jacket pocket.

A light smirk crossed Hiko’s face as Kat offered his way of greeting. The boy didn’t budge as his left arm was met with an extremely delicate punch. One that, thankfully, didn’t have the full force of the man behind it. Otherwise, there certainly would’ve been a bruise in the morning. As for the peering and lingering eyes of the onlookers, the shady kid didn’t take much of that in either. It wasn’t because he didn’t take notice of it. The same thing pretty much happened wherever he went. But after a certain point, one just became desensitized to it all. Though it still left a sour taste of paranoia dangling within his mouth.

Keeping this in mind, sly and devious smile still crossing from ear to ear, he would nod his head in agreement ”The sooner we get out of here, the better. That grand prize would look awfully nice, and with the two of us, we’ve doubled our chances that one of us will get it.” Hiko would also lean in when his eyes would notice the raised hand, as if letting the deviant in on a little secret. Upon hearing said secret, it just so happened to perk up the already elevated smile. ”Now that’s up my particular alley. But, as you said, that can wait until we get to wherever we’re going to fish, no way in hell we can get caught doing it here.” The youngin’s tone also matched the other, more muscular dude’s. Hushed, in a low whisper.

”With that being said, let’s get this show on the road shall we?” While saying that, Hiko Shimada would start heading towards the village gates where the two would have to check out the same way they checked in, lest they wanted to attract some unwanted attention from the guards.

Agreeing to the plan, Katsuragi turns around and makes his way towards the gate. He wonders if he would see Hayato again, the kid that not only let him in the village, buy also hooked him up with the sword, FrostCrown. A sword that he once again forgot. It was starting to annoy him, was his body mentally telling him that it did not want to lug around a big five foot plus sword? No matter, another day without it wouldnt hurt...

Moments later, Katsuragi is seen returning to the gate with the sword fasten to his back, with an open hook sheath. It was attached to his jacket, two hooks spread apart just enough for the claymore to hang from. Katsuragi was tall enough so the tip of the sword would drag on the ground.

Finally, he would leave the village for a bit, to enjoy the fishing tournament to get the grand cash prize. “Lets go git dat money man!” He mimics a southern accent, while making his wat past the guard after checking out. His warning issued swiftly as well, reguarding the fact that if he were to leave the country, he would need to go through the full check out process. His expedited process only allowed due to the fishing tournament.

Seeing that Kat was in agreeance, Hiko would pick up the pace a bit as the two would stride towards the gate together. Between him and the guy with the leather jacket, there wasn’t too much of a distance; only about a meter or so. But while the one was doing the expedited process of checking out, the other would stand back for a second, just to watch and make sure things went over smoothly. Luckily for the both of them, the gate guards didn’t hold them up or anything. Also, on that same note, the young travelers were also lucky that they didn’t have to go through the full process of actually checking out since they weren’t leaving the country.

Once everything had been all set, Hiko would then finish up with his miniature check out, the guard giving a somewhat weary eye to him; just like how that old lady had given him upon arrival. People really mustn’t have seen a lot of action around these parts. That was something that the two would have to change. Spice things up a bit for the civilians and shinobi of Tanbogakure. Albeit, this potential thought process could be fully worked out later as well. For now though, both Hiko and Katsuragi would see themselves out of the village, and head to the oceanside.
