Reporting for Duty [P,Mission]

What a sunny day in Tanbogakure!




The ushitora had been enjoying stay here in the rice village. He didn't think he would stay this long in the village, but for some reasons, the ocean blue eyed had extended his stay till Lord knows when...




Sakurai had sign up for a mission posting he saw some days ago. Even though the posting gave some brief details about the mission, the horned master would expect to get full details on how to go about the mission, despite the fact that most of the missions were simple, as he is not one to take on a mission blindly. 




It was the D-day that Sakurai would meet with his teammates for these missions he had signed up for. The crimson haired shinobi would dress himself up in his usual black cloak, underneath which he wore meshed net shirt, together with black pant, coupled with black shinobi sandals. The pale skin shinobi would carry his cross bag across his body, and would head out to meet his teammates. 




As a day to meet someone new, the ushitora would not be wearing his masked today. Normally, he would have his mask on, but for this mission, the horned master would stay unmasked.




Sakurai would arrive at the meeting spot as described by the mission briefing. The ocean blue eyed saw a young lad leaning against a wall. He seems to be waiting for someone and does not act like he is in a hurry. The ushitora would approach the wall-leaning-man to ask him if he knows anything about the mission details in the paper he is holding. This was simply to confirm if the wall-leaning-man was the one Sakurai is to meet.


Today isn't the first day Sakurai would embark on a mission, and today would not be the last either. If anything, Sakurai had enjoy all the missions he had partaken in, as each mission comes with its own challenges and experience. No matter how simple these pre-signed missions are, they won't be an exception.

“Sir you really don’t need to do missions, you need to go over the budgets…”

“I’ve been over them twice. I’m like an under paid holiday figure and you are the annoying elf.”

“Sir if I may say that’s rude”

“Then please let me be. We need the money, I’d rather go do real work than sit around in this office looking at imaginary numbers”

The squabbling would continue for another half hour before Asahi broke away from the admin aid. Their relationship tenuous at the best of times. Her ideology grounded in how things should be done; and Asahi’s……well he just had his own way of accomplishing the tasks. It had been successful, and things were moving right along ahead. Perhaps not every project was complete, but the village operated. Missions came in and went out completed. Several enhancements had been done and expansions. So I’m the end, there was little to complain about on the Aids end, other than Asahi had the potential to do more if he applied a little more focus. Though that seemed a task for a different day, with more energy, and likely the need for additional backup to plead the case in earnest.

Having skipped out of Okada, Asahi made his way to the appointed place that Yamato had listed. He had not told him he would come, but rather decided to simply show up. Having not really read the missions in earnest as to keep them in his memory, he was willing to go with the flow.

Leaving his hat behind, Asahi was dressed in his wooden clogs, and a simple red kimono with black hakama pants. Onimaru was strapped to his left side as it normally was, and the Bashosen lay across his shoulders. His hands resting on the long handle while the seemingly gentle fan blew in the faint breeze. Coming up to the two shinobi he noticed one loitering and one leaning. Going for the leaner out of familiarity he’d approve Yamato.

“Yo” he’d say to Yamato. “Are we the team?” He’d say smiling. The heat bearing down upon them. “What all are we doing?” He’d ask, without really going into the details as to why he opted to join some simple missions. He’d stand and wait for a Yamato to give them the directions seeing as he was de facto squad leader for this day. He had faith in his friend to do a fine job.
