This technique was developed by the Yamanaka clan for the purpose of interrogation. Extracting useful information from captured enemies helped their village stay one step ahead of their adversaries.

What it does:
The user plants their hand on the target's body and concentrates their chakra in their palm to create a sensory receptor. Alternatively, the user holds the Ram hand seal while within a range of 0-10/15 meters from the target. While using this technique, the user must maintain complete focus, and either maintain physical contact with the target or hold the Ram seal. Failing to do at least one of these will end the technique and place it on cooldown. The user may not use or maintain any other techniques with the exception of enhancers, amplifiers used specifically for this technique, and shadow clones or their variants that are already active prior to its use.

The amount of information that can be extracted by the use of this technique depends on its rank. If the target is immobilized, the duration required to extract new information at every stage described below is reduced by 1 post:

  1st Post: The user is able to learn all of the actions taken by the target on their last 3 posts from their point of view up until this technique took hold.
  
  2nd Post: The user is able to learn information that may be found on the target's character page namely their age, personality, likes and dislikes, and history after using this technique successfully for 2 posts. If the target is immobilized, this information is revealed on the 1st post. 
  
  3rd Post: The user is able to learn the target's Chakra Signature at a 50% discount, given that they write the required Word Count, from 0, while this particular ability of this technique is successfully in effect. If the target is immobilized, the user gains this ability from the 2nd Post, and thus gets two posts to finish the required WC to memorize the target's signature.

  1st Post: The user is able to learn all of the actions taken by the target within the current thread from their point of view up until this technique took hold.
  
  2nd Post: The user is able to learn information that may be found on the target's character page namely their age, personality, likes and dislikes, and history. If the target is immobilized, this effect starts from the 1st Post.
  
  3rd Post: The user is also able to learn the target’s chakra signature as well as other chakra signatures known by them at a 50% discount in the same manner as described above. If the target is immobilized, these effects start from the 2nd Post.
  
  4th Post: The user is able to learn the actions taken by the target throughout the course of their life. The user can come to learn any information that may be found on any of the target's threads within their lifetime, from their point of view, including the current thread. As a result, the user can also decipher secret passwords to village defenses or hideouts and similar information that is learned by the target as intellectual data during the course of their life. This effect only takes place on the fourth post, even if the target is immobilized. This ability has an OOC cooldown of 1 year.
  

For the purposes of this technique, a target is considered 'immobilized' if they are unable to displace their whole body by more than 1 meter in any direction. Chakra signatures can only be memorized if the target is not actively hiding their own signature with a technique of a higher or equal power.

Similarly, any information that is repressed or modified by the target with the use of an appropriate technique that has a higher or equal power to Psycho Mind Transmission cannot be revealed to the user. Alternatively, the target can choose to bite their tongue to repress their memories if they are physically able to do so. Doing so inflicts damage to the target equal to the base power of Psycho Mind Transmission. This action, unless the target's sense of touch or pain is forcibly suppressed beforehand by a valid method, ends Psycho Mind Transmission and places it on cooldown.

Notably, although the user is able to see the actions of previous posts or threads it does not allow them to learn any of the target’s techniques that were learned or used within this period.

Hi there Saturn, I'm trial approving this one so let's get into this. I can see you put a lot of thought into this revamp good job. The only thing that will need to change is the Chakra suppression portion. Chakra suppression prevents you from using jutsu that are above E-rank so it will not be applicable with this jutsu. Additionally, I believe this is a pretty decidedly a sensory techniques and not just a ninjutsu. I would recommend changing it to that as it just makes more sense. Make these changes and I'll stamp it with the trial approved. Thanks and sorry for the delay.

Because of this change - this quote, "If it is equal, the effects of the first post will still take place. However, the target must be aware that this technique is being used in order to initiate an attempt to break free" will have to be removed.

"A willing participant may choose to allow the user to perform this technique on them and in that case, the upkeep for this technique is reduced to 5 instead of 10."

I propose the addition of the following functionality to augment the practicality of this technique in line with prevalent game mechanics:

"Because of the nature of this technique, the user is able to memorize the signature of the target if all of the following conditions are met:
1. The user has the Sixth Sense skill.
2. The technique is executed to completion - which takes a minimum of 2 posts or a maximum of 4 depending on the user's degree of mastery.
3. The target's chakra signature is not concealed with the use of a technique with a higher power than the user's scaled version of Psycho Mind Transmission"

This adds quantitative upside to the technique. Having the target's signature memorized upon completion is an objective outcome that can justify the use of this technique besides just speculation on what the user could hope to achieve after learning more qualities about the target.

-The concept is fine then, but the Speed due to it being a Sensory technique rather than a physical technique would need to be 30 before scaling.

I'm okay with the hotfix too, this tech seems kinda beefy for a B-rank, but I'm okay with it being this way considering it's one of the Yamanaka's key jutsu similar to how Sharingan Genjutsu is to the Uchiha Clan.
