The Nova Exams: Fu vs Enishi

The Rinnegan wielder's counterattack wouldn't go unnoticed. The Wraith would observe as while he formed his handseals to activate the technique known as 'Swamp of the Underworld' the woman would simultaneously weave her of set own handseals to execute a technique for herself, but it wouldn't raise much of an alarm to Enishi yet, so he continued with his actions uninterrupted until he noticed something quite grave. At the same moment that Swamp of the Underworld was executed, the ground would begin to shatter and rupture as if an earthquake of maximum magnitude was rising from the depths of hell. No - it couldn't be. Why her? It made absolutely no sense for someone like her to possess something so sacred to another clan... except it was merely reality. Fu, just like Enishi was what people called "Chimeras", those who reap and absorb the bloodlines of others for personal gain. The Wraith knew exactly what technique she was using, and what bloodline and element it originated from, after all - this was one of the strongest techniques he had the pleasure of harvesting. The understudy had to control himself from cackling hysterically as a large wooden head would begin emerging underneath her body, rising with grandeur reminiscent of the great Buddha. Wooden fingertips would coalesce with the wooden head as the construct would quite literally, crawl itself out of the chasm of impurities, allowing Fu to rise and ride on top of the wooden construct. There was no doubt about it, this was one of the strongest Wood Release techniques hailing from the Senju Clan that Enishi also possessed - 'Kanzeon Lotus King.' 

By the time the head began rising about three or so meters, Enishi would have already defended himself from Shinra Tensei as the repulsive wave would be destroying the trees and soon reach its maximum range to be dispersed; simultaneously Swamp of the Underworld would have reached its objective by sinking the trees in its area. So, the Sage would deactivate his swamp and defensives turning his aura back to normal, but only for the most infinitesimal of moments. His chakra would flare once again like a raging storm, and this time, an inferno of concentrated primrose energy would engulf his body like flames, boosting his capabilities to a greater stage than that of Grand Chariot. The Wraith's body, no longer bounded by the limitations of humans would rise a single meter above the ground while hovering a foot to his right to now be parallel once again to Fu. As this occurred, the Wraith would weave his own set of handseals with his newfound speed. Four handseals would be executed via whistling, and twelve would be done the old-fashioned way - all at the same time. Fu's golem would soon rise to five meters, showcasing the five smaller heads positioned around the main head, and suddenly! One of the small heads would open it's mouth, and... fire. A surge of Wind Release shot at blistering speeds towards the Sage, aiming to cover the fifteen-meter gap between them at a mind-warping velocity, five meters in radius. The blast was fast, encroaching, and enough to engulf the understudy in it's zephyr hellstorm.

But Enishi was simply faster.

The instant the burst of wind was fired towards Enishi, the auburn-haired Chuunin had already finished his handseals in the time that it took Fu's golem to rise another two meters, open its mouth, and begin to load chakra. A large wooden head would begin emerging underneath his floating body, rising with empowered strength. The jutsu that Enishi whistled was the Sage Art Amplifier, and the jutsu that he manually weaved was Kanzeon Lotus King; enhanced by nature energy - this was the purest form of the technique - 'Sage Art: Kanzeon Lotus King.' With gleaming yellow eyes and a green aura emanating through it, the empowered golem would quickly rise at a quicker rate than the wind burst could travel. So by the time the wind burst traveled six meters, the golem was already at six meters of elevation with Enishi riding on top of it, meaning that there was no way that the wind could ever touch Enishi as his empowered Kanzeon Lotus King would simply block it, but if Fu had some trick up her sleeve, he would be sure to react to it. The two golems would rise at the same time, Fu's despite being slightly slower would still be roughly five meters above Enishi until both reached a maximum height of fifty meters; the sight of seeing two kaiju-like monsters rising from the ground would surely be a sight for the crowd to see.

For Enishi?

He couldn't stop laughing. By the time Fu launched the wind blast, he couldn't keep it in anymore. It was less of a laugh but more a cackle - utterly guttural, villainous, and oozing with bloodlust. His smile was even more wretched than the one he showed before, not even concealing his tainted amusement. "I didn't know you also steal the bloodlines of others; I thought you were better than this, FUUUUUUUUUUU!!!" Amplifying his voice with chakra and ending with a roar so the woman could hear him clearly, Enishi would state those words as he activated his Kanzeon Lotus King, which masked his other action. As his golem began to rise, a single seal on his right forearm released, expanding from his person in a radial sphere of influence twenty meters in all directions. This seal's intended purpose would seek to absorb anything it touched, but the understudy had a different plan - targeting Fu's golem, which would reduce its potency by a great amount - now making it weaker unless Fu had an idea of how to defend against the intangible field. 

Enishi's empowered golem would continue to rise until it reached fifty meters tall unless interrupted, the understudy standing on top of the main head, facing Fu. He already made his move by attempting to debuff Fu's golem while chaos was ensuing and the golem couldn't fully move until it reached maximum height, so now he would see what the woman would do next, the sickening grin still appearing on his face as if beckoning her to keep on wasting chakra in attacking him.

Fu observed the aura that surrounded Enishi’s body fizzle out and then flare back to life, this time more powerful than before. The sudden change and activation of his jutsu would grant her opponent the ability to either levitate or fly. As before, Fu’s eyes would pick up on the pre-cognitive motions that her opponent planned to formulate another set of hand seals, but this time she would not begin to form her own. Instead, at the moment Enishi would form his firsthand seal, Fu would activate one of the seals placed on her body, the most powerful of them all, and by doing so, would release an invisible field of chakra that would expand out from her body in anticipation of, and with the intent to absorb whatever jutsu that Enishi planned on utilizing.  
 
Fu, who was very familiar with the hand seals required to initiate the summoning of the Senju Clan’s most powerful jutsu, the Kanzeon Lotus, would recognize the seals after he had completed the first six at blinding, but still decipherable speed, and she would decide that this technique was the one she planned on absorbing. The invisible barrier would close the 15 M distance between them quickly as she had initiated it at the beginning of Enishi’s hand seals, and it would go unnoticed unless her opponent possessed a chakra seeing dojutsu or sensory tech.
 
The ground would rumble once more, just as it had a moment prior when Fu summoned her own wooden budha, and once her invisible barrier would come into contact with Enishi’s golem, she would debuff its power and health by 70, unable to absorb the tech due to its increased power. Fu was impressed by Enishi’s golem’s ability to withstand being fully absorbed by her spellbinding seal, indicating to Fu that Enishi was truly of similar caliber. Due to Enishi’s actions of performing hand seals and summoning his own buddha, Fu would decide not to fire her Kanzeon Lotus’ All is Suffering once her statue rose 5M, but would instead wait for her Spellbinding Seal to hit his, and once it did, would take the opportunity to utilize a different technique while both golem’s rose, her golem slightly higher than his due to the time at which both were summoned.
 
Unless interrupted, at the moment Enishi’s golem would have risen 6M, Fu would target its origin on the ground and from the base of the rising budha, a fury of black flames would erupt and begin to spread across Enishi’s wooden golem’s surface with no tell of it’s activation due to originating from her eye, and would quickly devouring the statue as fast as it formed, traveling up the statue towards where its master resided, with the intent to consume him too. Fu controlled the spawning and formation of the mass of black flames, her line of sight quickly moving from where the flames originated towards where her opponent stood, so that it would not deviate from the surface of Enishi’s wooden summon, potentially affecting hers. As this happened, Fu’s buddha would continue to rise and Fu, with her eyes on her opponent, would wait to see how he would react to the incoming threat of her Amaterasu.

Scrying the battlefield with vigilance, Enishi was pleased to catch that his Seal of Absorption would work perfectly in debuffing Fu's golem independent of whether the blue-haired woman activated 'All is Suffering' or not, as Fu made no action to stop his expanding sphere of influence - which would be unleashed the moment his own Kanzeon Lotus King began to rise from the ground. At the same time, the Sage would also notice that an odd sphere of influence would encircle his area through the passive usage of his Chakra Sensory once his golem began to rise. He didn't know that it debuffed the power of his golem despite ironically being a technique he also possessed - but it was still something to keep note of. As the Wraith's golem reached 6m in elevation however, the tides of the battle shifted. Smelling the nauseous smell and sound of flame burning wood, Enishi gazed in a downwards angle for a moment to see that a hellish black flame of sorts - starting from the very base of his golem - was utterly engulfing and eating away at the construct. He had to think quickly, having no idea what type of Fire Release technique this was that was able to spawn black flames at such high volatility. If anything, it resembled his True Fire of Samadhi, so the Sage had to go with his instincts and make a leap of faith. The master would relieve his servant of his duties...

As the servant became nothing more than a slave to gravity.

There were only five meters of distance between both golems, more than enough to initiate close combat so Enishi - the moment the fire began to engulf his golem from below - would command his golem to tip forward  Using gravity to all of the work, his burning and inanimate Kanzeon Lotus King became nothing more than a wooden pillar of rapidly rising black flames, falling towards Fu's golem and subsequently her, waiting to engulf anything that touched it. Enishi's falling construct would cover the five-meter distance in no time, tackling Fu's golem as both constructs would fall to the ground and be engulfed by the black flames, the centerpoint being 10m in front of both shinobi. As Enishi's falling golem would tackle Fu's, the Rinnegan wielder would have no footing so she would be free falling to the ground and if she didn't respond quickly enough...be engulfed by her own flames if she came close to the uprooted terrain. But the Wraith wouldn't relent, it was time for him to go on the offensive. Whether or not his golem began to fall on top of Fu's, he would rise up half a meter whilst forming handseals, seven the old-fashioned way and five through whistling and by the time he completed his rise his technique was complete. A swirling pulse of violet energy would erupt from his body, foul and voidless in composition, starting an inch off his person before rapidly expanding outwards, devouring all forms of foreign matter. Wasting no time, he'd charge towards Fu as the aura would expand along with him in an aerial assault. This aura of pure divergent nature energy, amplified by the effects of Foul Legacy would expand to a maximum of 20m in all directions while Enishi at high speeds was dashing towards Fu, attempting to chase her whenever she went meaning that defeat was approaching the woman near instantly.

The Wraith wasn't finished, however.

As he began his aerial chase, he would whistle five more times and form four handseals, finishing about a foot into his pursuit. Unsheathing his Wakazashi with a Paralysis Seal Tag wrapped at the tip, the Sage raised it with his left hand and aimed at Fu's center. Abruptly a ray of cutting force amplified by the Samurai Sabre Technique emulating the dimensions of the short sword would rush out of the blade, easily slicing through the distance at a slower speed than the aura but still blindingly fast. The ray of light would extend towards the woman until it reached a maximum distance of 30m, piercing through all as the aura would annihilate Fu's equipment and the elongated sword would pierce through her, paralyzing her as well and rendering her body unable to fight. Simultaneously, another aura would be expelled from the understudy, this time acting as a debilitating force that would reduce the capabilities of the woman, ensuring that no counterplay within his range would be allowed. The Sage of Pleiades would unleash this onslaught all in a matter of moments, attempting to ram Fu with his extending blade as he would be concurrently engulfing her in an aura of destruction and debilitation, ending the fight in mere moments if Fu couldn't react properly.

Enishi was confident, but he wasn't susceptible to hubris, scanning the battlefield all throughout his pursuit and ready to make the slightest of changes.

The black flames of Fu’s Amaterasu quickly ate away at Enishi’s golem upon spawning at the titan’s base, destroying any additional formation of the golem from its base before it had the chance to continue its evolution, while simultaneously climbing the 6 meters of golem already exposed and also consuming it. Because Enishi had failed to pay his titan it’s fair share of chakra consumption this turn, it failed to respond to its creator’s command and remained in its current, upright position, failing to follow through on the directive to fall forward, and instead, becoming completely engulphed and erased, Fu’s Amaterasu fizzling away upon completion of destroying the golem.
 
Fu however, did not have time to wait around for the black flames to complete their task of consuming the golem and instead, her attention was persistent upon her opponent. After completing the summoning of her Amaterasu, her line of sight quickly ran from the Amaterasu’s point of spawn to her opponent, who had now, risen half a meter and was performing his first hand seal whilst producing a whistling noise. Understanding that his opponent would now need to flee his golem to avoid being consumed by her Amaterasu, Fu concluded that Enishi would probably plan to bring the fight to her, shifting the battle from Attack on Titan to close quarters combat. In reaction to the sight of Enishi performing his first hand seal, Fu would perform 5 hand seals in tandem with Enishi, while simultaneously releasing her Seal of Protection, Seal of Absorption, and activating her Yata Mirror’s Perfect Defense, causing her armor to now shimmer neon, rainbow colors in anticipation of a brawl and her seal or protection, protecting her in the case Enishi had a trick up his sleeve. Upon completion of the five hand seals, Fu would observe with her Rinnegan, her opponent begin to move forward, towards her ascending location, while also releasing a devastatingly dangerous looking technique that radiated nature chakra, which she was now able to see thanks to her new legendary dojutsu.  The moment he moved and the aura began expanding, Fu’s absorption seal would have already been released and was traveling outwards in all directions and she would activate the jutsu she had completed the hand seals for, causing another invisible barrier to extend from her body, 15 meters in all directions.
 
Next, Fu would observe Enishi, as he began his arial pursuit, brandish a blade and at the sight, Fu would activate another jutsu without the need of hand seals, causing 10 black orbs to spawn out of thin air and levitate in a circle formation, 30 cm behind her head and back. Because this was the first time she had activated this technique, she was unable to use the more advanced functions of the truth seeking balls, so they instead would act as wrecking balls. Upon formation, she would immediately motion two of the orbs, activating the pair, and causing them to move in front of her. The first in the location at which she perceived Enishi’s blade of chakra to be aimed with her dojutsu, just a meter from her chest, and the second just 30 cm to its right.
 
At the moment Fu’s absorption seal came into contact with Enishi’s Mukou aura, she would absorb 50 power from it, decreasing it’s effective power to 200. Next, she would launch the truth seeking ball that was not intended to block his blade of chakra, towards him and aimed at his chest, and the aura that was continuing to radiate around him. The truth seeking ball would come into contact with Enishi’s Mukou, and due to his techniques inability to overpower Fu’s TSB, would cause his aura to dissipate. If he continued with his actions of launching his sacred spear towards her chest, she would launch the second TSB directly towards the approaching blade of chakra, causing it to clash and overpower the technique, preventing it from reaching her. After the orbs completed their objectives, they would continue to travel towards Enishi with the intent to crash into the center of his chest.
 
As this happened, Fu’s Sage Art: Reduction would have been expanding, and upon Enishi meeting the Aura, would find his Vigor and Speed to be decreased by 50.

Can't Have a Tadashi Fight Without Anime Music:

This was the final moment.

Everything this battle had been building up towards was in preparation for this instant, where legend and myth would inevitably clash. Seeing that his plan wouldn't exactly work as intended with his burning golem as it simply remained immobile and burned into nothingness, Enishi would react accordingly upon seeing Fu perform handseals in response to his preparations. Noting that the odd barrier around the woman would glow a brighter light, it seemed that the understudy needed to add something extra to his incessant assault. In retaliation to her rapidly occurring preparations, the moment before Enishi would activate Mukou, he would funnel chakra into his body to trigger two seals in his body as an invisible field of energy would expand from his person - that being the Spellbinding Seal which would expand to a maximum distance of twenty-five meters in all directions. This would be expelled alongside Mukou so the Spellbinding Seal would be just slightly faster than it, allowing it to devour anything that dared to taint the expelled might of natural energy. The invisible aura did not have any target yet, but Enishi knew that he would need it soon because Fu would be bound to have powerful techniques. Due to the pandemonium occurring, Spellbinding Seal possessed an extremely faint aura only visible to chakra vision - that being said, Enishi had multiple auras that would attempt to hide the existence of the faint aura, so it would be unrealistic of Fu to correctly point out the existence of Spellbinding Seal, especially considering the diversions and chaos ensuing. As Enishi activated Spellbinding Seal, he made sure to activate his Seal of Protection which would blend in with the blazing primrose aura of his enhancer, confident that would come in handy.

Continuing his assault as planned, brandishing his blade and activating an amplified Sacred Spear to pierce the woman's abdomen right after activating Minus Field which would hide the presence of Spellbinding Seal even more with layers upon layers of chakra surrounding Enishi - the Wraith noticed a godlike presence appearing before him. Ten black orbs resembling the spheres of the Sage of Six Paths would hover around Fu's back like a ring. The understudy, gritting his teeth, knew that this technique was probably extremely strong and could most likely shred through any defenses he had, but he needed to have trust in himself...

After all, he pledged to crush Fu.

Spellbinding Seal's target would now be the orbs that the Monster Hunter conjured through her mystical eye and due to being the fastest and earliest activated technique that Enishi had, would come in contact with the orbs first before they had a chance to contact Mukou. Instantly, the orbs would be funneled into the aura and absorbed in a split second, unable to come in contact with the extending blade and Enishi's debuffed Mukou - the fact being unbeknownst to the understudy. Thus, Sacred Spear and Mukou would continue uninterrupted. By the time Fu's Seal of Absorption clashed with Mukou and the Spellbinding Seal absorbed the two orbs, Enishi and Fu would only be nine meters away at this point, Spellbinding Seal and Mukou being a little over 6m in radius at this point and Sacred Spear being about 4m in its extension, the auras being only 3m away from the woman. Yet the onslaught was neverending, the Wraith smelled blood as his assault resumed. Grasping the handle of his scroll on his left, he would release the seal which revealed a two handle grip of sorts. Gripping one of the handles as the other one would act as a guard, he would unsheath the weapon from its seal, the wrappings of it falling disappearing in a burst of chakra.

In a blaze of blue, Hiramekarei was summoned. 

The legend of Kirigakure, the boundless storage blade would be under the Sage of Pleiades' possession, seizing the bottom handle with the left hand and raising it upwards above his body...in a single juncture. "Rouse yourself, and leave my foe nothing more but an enemy felled..." A simple hymn was spoken by the Sage as the legendary chakra within the blade unleashed, coating it with absurd levels of exuberance, turning a oddshaped blade into a five-meter-long and two feet wide greatsword of pure chakra. Without hesitation, as it awakened, Enishi would swing the blade downwards at Fu's left and due to the blade's extending length, width, and the fact that he was still approaching at jet-like speeds, sword would meet shield very soon. Inevitably, the multiple auras and extending blades that the understudy manipulated for this very moment would reach Fu with little to no time for the woman to react properly. Spellbinding Seal would come in contact first, absorbing all of the orbs surrounding the woman before locking the technique in a state of stasis that would force the woman to continuously use chakra to sustain the attack. Then, Mukou would act at the juncture after and due to the effects of the woman's shield and the previous debuff of his aura, it would dissipate, but not before imbuing a chakra poisoning effect into the woman. But immediately after Mukou and Fu's barrier would meet to initiate, the legendary sword of Kirigakure would strike like an anvil, tearing through the armor on Fu's left and then, skin...and lastly, bone. Swinging it clean through Fu's left shoulder and potential ligaments downwards, the Wraith would effectively cripple Fu's shoulder rendering the woman unable to move her left arm as Hiramekarei would vanquish the Yata Mirror in a decisive clash, shattering the barrier. This was due to the fact that the Legendary Weapon simply wasn't a technique for it to be debuffed in the process and thus the Yata Mirror's defense would prove insufficient to stop the Sword of the Mist. Additionally, Enishi made absolutely sure to swing Hiramekarei down all the way, so the sword would also meet the golem which was just below Fu's feet. The sword would cleave completely through the golem's head, and due to Hiramekarei's anti-jutsu properties - thereby destroying the accursed construct for good if for some reason Mukou wasn't able to do it prior to its destruction.

As the woman would be completely stunned from the shock of her broken left shoulder that would paralyze her left arm, Sacred Spear was next. Now absolutely defenseless, Fu would be nothing more than a slave to fate as she would endure the pain of high-speed blade thrusting through and completely rending her abdomen and ribs before retracting its extended length and ceasing. These two attacks that would come at rapid speed would cripple and render her unable to fight as she would fall to the ground and her odd black flame technique be deactivated, winning the understudy the battle in a mere instant should she be unable to react properly but given the little distance prior and the type of assault that Enishi planned...it was improbable.

Eventually, both user debilitating auras would clash with each other as both owners would prove to be unaffected by the two auras due to their simultaneous usage of Seal of Protection. 

All in all, it was unlikely that Fu would be able to survive Enishi's onslaught, but the understudy was ready to change plans in an instant if there was any way the woman would be able to cheat defeat once again.

Her arrogance was her downfall.
 
To the eyes of the untrained, the battle before the crowd would appear to be nothing more than a great show of entertainment, bestowing them the pleasure of witnessing techniques that even most shinobi would not have the opportunity to witness in their lifetime. The summoning of giant, wooden statues engaging in battle and the spawning of black flames that would distill fear in the crowd, causing most to assume the only logical reason behind their existing was that Fu had summoned them straight from Hell. Although, to those who were versed in combat and had keen eyesight, they would potentially perceive the high-level game of chess that was ensuing as multiple intangible and invisible powers were actively in play, as each contestant moved with intent to secure victory over their opponent.
 
Fu had been a shinobi of Hoshigakure for a short period of time, but despite her brief residency, she had been able to climb higher than she ever had in her previous village, Konoha. Having earned the title of Jounin by Ayato as a reward for her participation in protecting the village from the recent attempt at destroying it, Fu felt a top of the world. Paired with her newfound abilities and her new title, Fu had no doubt in her mind that she would breeze through the Nova tournament and stake claim to the next logical title in her ascent to greatness.
 
That was, until her false sense of security and superiority were shattered. Fu’s Truth Seeking Orbs were absorbed along with the chip on her shoulder and Enishi’s legendary weapon broke through Fu’s Yata mirror, causing it to unsummon back to its ethereal plane. The swords blade cut through her shoulder, causing her to lose feeling, and next, a blade of chakra would penetrate her abdomen, causing her to lose any remaining control over her body she had left after her shoulder was struck.
 
‘‘How could I… lose?” Fu would mutter to herself under her breath before blacking out. Fu’s loss of consciousness would signal that the battle was over, and the victor had been decided, the wooden golem that Fu had summoned, now crumbling underneath the pair, and falling in large clumps towards the ground. The golem’s main head remained intact as it fell to the arena’s floor with Fu in the middle, generating a loud crashing noise throughout the arena, but still retaining it’s structural integrity. The entire stadium had fell silent as they attempted to decipher what had happened.
 
“Could this be it!”
 
The announcer’s voice boomed, and once the dust settled and the scene became clear to all those in attendance, they would find Fu immobilized and unconscious laying atop of the crumbled Golem’s head.

“I can’t believe it! Chuunin, Enishi Kurosawa, has defeated the new comer and recently promoted Jounin, Fu!” The crowd went wild and the medical team on standby rushed into the arena to tend to the fallen participant, quickly navigating the destroyed terrain and debris before rushing the kunochi to the hospital.

It was over.

In a thunderous flash of swelling chakra and tumultuous wills, the battle between the Wraith and Monster Hunter would end with decisive finality. The crowd would gawk in amazement as Hiramekarei and the Yata Mirror would clash in blazing light, engulfing the arena in blinding glory as the two Legendary Weapons would react chaotically with each other. But eventually, the light would cease and it would become clear who the true victor was. It appeared as though the Monster Hunter was unable to slay the Wraith...because the Wraith was unlike any other monster that the hunter would have ever fought. After all, the most fearsome of terrors are the ones that behave as humans, speak like humans, and fight like humans, yet possess the mind of a demon. The Wraith was no exception to such a law of reality, using any advantage, talents, aptitudes, and manipulation he could to take the upper hand in the duel. The Monster Hunter truly lived up to her title, utilizing various techniques that the Sage had never seen before and virtually instilling a sense of fear into the young man. It was clear that she had more powerful tools than Enishi and definitely was the stronger individual, however, the essence of confidence instilled in the woman's style of combat would ultimately be her undoing - never once accounting for the fact that she could be in the position of prey - so used to being a predator. Calling this exchange a fight would be a disservice to Fu's efforts as this would be nothing more than a chess match. Being struck by the two blades, Fu would fall unconscious as her Amaterasu technique and the golem would deactivate, the wooden construct falling to the ground - its main head stayed intact as it adorned the dilapidated arena. The two combatants were in the air however and while Enishi had some form of flight, Fu upon falling unconscious would be free falling in the sky. The Sage of Pleiades decided that he couldn't have that, deactivating all of his techniques and enhancers while also quickly arranging his weapons in their positions, Hiramekarei now holstered on his back for all to see the mythical blade in all of its glory. Now that Peacock's Spirit Blessing was no longer in effect, Enishi would be free falling as well...before using the Lightness Skill technique which allowed him to fall slowly and gradually through the air as if he was floating, also using this time to grasp the unconscious Fu and holding her firmly in his arms. It was the least he could do, respecting his combatant and letting her have the honor of not falling to the ground artlessly.

The two would gracefully land on the ground as paramedics would soon rush to the stands; Enishi would hand his unconscious competitor with a smile over to them before he would be left as the sole person within the arena. Left to himself, the wind would take a unique updraft - allowing the Jugo scion's bright auburn hair to sway along with the zephyr as he would take in the roaring crowd's cheers and hollers of jubilation at his victory. While he did feel happy, the fact that there were two more competitors that he would need to fight weighed deeply in his heart.

The Hawk of Hoshigakure's ice-blue eyes would return a resolute gaze at certain observers of his battle. Akaboshi Uzumaki, Akabayashi Terumi, Atarashi Hiyu, Shinrei Yamato, and Hikari Namikaze all caught his attention. Akaboshi was his sensei during his tenure as a Genin, Akabayashi was his confidant in terms of attaining power and understanding the nuances of his bloodline, Shinrei Yamato - while never meeting him - the understudy acknowledged and respected his existence due to his efforts in the recent invasion. However, Hikari Namikaze and Atarashi Hiyu - while the understudy would have likely known the names and feats of the individuals, he wouldn't recognize them by face. 

However, should Toneri be in the audience stands, the Sage would visibly scowl in ire at the bastard.

Ending his cursory gazes with a heavy sigh, the Hawk of Hoshigakure would lightly bow toward the audience before taking his leave and preparing for his next round, hoping that Fu wouldn't be too shaken up by her injuries.

He couldn't relax, not until everyone was crushed.
