Enter the Ice Princess... On the beach?

Strawberry wine and seventeen The hot July moon saw everything
STRAWBERRY W I N E
STRAWBERRY W I N E
Suika sighed, as she opened her eyes, the light breeze would come across the warmed air; though she naturally didn’t often feel the warmth, and usually she was a nice chill temperature, she could feel the humidity within the air. Suika sighed as she saw the sand and ocean before her… Transported again, much like Christmas time, she found herself in a distance land far from Sunagakure once more. “Well, I guess I should make the best of this.” She stretched herself out as she stood up, looking down at her… Bathing suit? Her eyebrow raised, questioning how it happened… Then again, she found herself in almost a similar situation as the events she had partaken in during her time within Moon Country… A simple shrug, before she accepted the bathing suit, however revealing it seemed to be.
As she moved along the beach, she would remain silent, watching carefully as she observed the surrounding people, examining their actions and the things they would do as they moved around the beach and interacted with each other. It wasn’t long before a small hand would touch her own that her focus on her surroundings would quickly dissipate and turn to the small boy holding her hand; “Miss! Could… Could you help me build a sand castle…? For the competition?” He would question Suika, a small smile would cross the woman’s lips, he reminded her of her own son, when he was that young… She missed those days, “Of course I can, dear.” She would reply, following him over to the competition undergoing, and quickly made fast work with the boy.
He spoke to her about having a mote, with a large castle that made it seem haunted, he wanted to use shells that he found as decoration, along with seaweed for it as well. Using her own affinity to the element of water to their advantage with the affinity of sand as well, making sure that they created the largest and most intriguing castle amongst the others. She ensured to use the added on things that he had spoke about, ensuring that he had the best and biggest sand castle out of them all. He had the largest grin across his face as he worked alongside the jounin of Sunagakure; Suika couldn’t help the smile across her own face as she silently worked with him, allowing his direction to guide her own abilities to make sure he got everything he wanted to have in and out of the castle they created.
As the winner was announced, Suika and the young boy would part ways, the child finding his parents to show them his winnings as she watched from a distance to ensure that he would be okay, and that he did in fact have parents on the beach, as she found it strange that they didn’t want to also participate in the competition with their son was a disappointing fact. But she would simply shrug it off, she didn’t want to cause to much of a commotion this early on within this strange beach area.
It wasn’t until she heard the couple begin to argue as the little boy walked off, she had overheard the argument between them, she could tell that they were obviously newlywed, and one of them was the boys step parent… However the conversation disgusted her, the man was obviously the step parent, as he complained none stop about having to bring the boy on their honeymoon; this insighted enough anger in Suika; that she made her way over to the couple; fully with the plan to slit the mans throat but stopped moments before; as the woman snapped back towards him, explaining to him that he knew exactly what he was getting himself into as she pointed out the many reasons before they got married that he knew the boy would need to tag along, this made Suika pause on her plan of out right murdering the man. “Excuse me.” She would interject in their argument before it continued any further; “I couldn’t help but overheard… From the yelling.” She laughed slightly as she sat down in front of them, “But I can understand the frustration of being newlywed and stuck in a situation you hadn’t been expecting.”
She continued to speak with them, explaining her own experiences with unexpected complications and offered a solution for the couple; as she had taken note of several large groups of children with very respectable parents amongst them during the sandcastle competition. As simple as the conversation was, they seemed to understand it; and accepted. And just like that they were off to make arrangements for the child to spend time with a mentally stable enough group for two days so they could spend alone time together, and relax as the newlyweds they were… Suika couldn’t help but pause herself as she watched the mother get up first, pulling the man by his collar of his stupid Hawaiian shirt… “Let me warn you now, and you will be the only person to ever get a warning from me.” She lowered her voice as the mother headed in the direction of her son as Suika raised her hand, an spike of ice forming in her palm as she raised it to his neck.
“You will never… Ever. Disrespect that little boy again. You will never make that woman pick between her son or you. Or I will personally find you, and I will slit your throat ear to ear.” She paused, looking him directly in the eyes as the sharp piece of ice touched the side of his neck where his jugular vein was located. “Do you understand the words coming out of mouth, or do you need a demonstration?” She raised her eyebrow, hearing the sound of water trickling down the seat he was sitting in; her eyes would glance down to his lap, taking note that she had completely terrified the man. “Good. I’m glad you understand. Go clean yourself, disgusting pig.” She muttered, letting go of his collar.
She smirked as she finally walked away from the area she was currently in, already mentally exhausted from the interaction she had already partaken in as she found herself hearing whispers about a marathon spanning from the east end of the beach down to the lighthouse on the right end of the beach, five miles away from her current position.
A simple nod mentally, she would form her hands quickly, flickering herself down the beach several times to ensure she didn’t hit into anyone or anything as she made her way quickly down, entering herself into the competition.
Suika stretched herself out, preparing for the running to begin as she made her strategy out inside of her head. She knew exactly what path she wanted to take, and which way she wanted to go. It was just a matter of moment before she would hear the sound of the horn and the runners would take off. Suika quickly began at a medium pace, allowing the quicker runners to run off their energy before she would begin her own quickened pace; she watched as she would begin to pass runner after runner. It was a simple enough race, and within a short period of time, she would find herself just five runners behind the leader.

Strawberry wine and seventeen The hot July moon saw everything
STRAWBERRY W I N E
STRAWBERRY W I N E
The sound of the horn would ring through Suika’s ears, the rush of adrenal would rush through the woman’s body as she lifted off in the sand; over her time in Sunagakure she had become accustomed to running and moving in the sand. However, this sand did indeed feel lighter than the sand within Sunagakure; but she had a secret weapon; with ease she managed to glide herself across the ice, using her chakra at the bottom of her feet to create spots of ice to allow her to move faster against the other runners.
She was surprised by how many runners there was exactly, but she pushed on regardless finding herself slowly slipping past people at an average speed – Suika didn’t usually find the need to cheat, and this was one of those time she usually wouldn’t, but she wanted to make her quickest speed across the beach, while remaining at a convincing speed to complete the missions she had partaken in. The race just happened to be in the way of her objective.
Suika would sigh as she found herself paced nicely along as she reached fifth position within the race, four people stood in front of her and reaching first and finishing the race. A deep inhale as she focused more energy and chakra into her feet, pushing further inside as she began to take small leaps, almost unnoticeable as she made her way into the fourth position. The top three racers were fast, she assumed they had to be shinobi from other villages.
Since her relationship with Guren formed a more solidified position with each other, and their children being placed in specific positions within the village; she took it upon herself to read each file of every shinobi within the village of Sunagakure; she wanted to make sure that she knew everyone’s name, however redundant she believed it to be, but as the Lady of Sunagakure’s Kazekage – she knew that she had to be as respected and responsible as her lover. Suika knew that none of the three ahead of her were apart of her village, which meant that she could do whatever she wanted.
With a deep breath in, she would quickly push herself harder, reaching up to third place, she would take note of the appearance, they held no headband, much like herself when she was transported to this beach; she certainly wasn’t dressed as a shinobi of Sunagakure… She would press her lips together fairly hard, as she took note of the persons chakra, it was certainly being used, which simply meant that obviously the people ahead of her were using similar methods to her own; it was no longer time for her to conceal what she was doing to the three above her position as she moved her hand towards the side, making the ice form below the third position as they lost balance she was move ahead, in third place.
With relative ease she found herself only mere feet away from second place; her icy blue eyes watching as the sand below them seem to flutter around, almost as if the wind was carrying them, a small smirk would creep along the Yuki’s face as she used her own affinity to wind to push the second off course, enough to get herself ahead of the game, shortly closing into the first place position as she continued to use her ice affinity to get ahead of the first place position; relying on her own speed and agility once she found herself in the lead; there was only a small amount of beach left before she would reach the end of the line.
Suika would sprint the last half, running as fast as she possibly could as she felt the ground turn almost muddy… Her eyes widening as she began to recognize the consistency; this was a jutsu, and dangerous one at that. Using her quick-thinking ability she moved quickly, not allowing herself to be devoured by the jutsu as it was intended, she would quickly push herself into a position where the chakra at the bottom of her feet would be able to push against the mud that was attempting to suck her down, freezing it as she moved up and over the hole it was beginning to create it.
Suika moved along the area fast, her eyes glancing back to notice that two of the shinobi she had passed were the culprits behind the mud slide; she would push along reaching the finish line within a short period of time as she finally brought herself to a rest; after announcing the winners she moved passed the section of beach towards her last mission, at least for now.
A small sigh, Suika would walk towards where she was told the fireworks for evening would be located; she was suppose to meet them an hour ago; and was already running late; which was unfortunate. As she finally reached the position, she would take note several people running around freaking out over the fireworks; Suika would finally stop someone who told her that the tide came in higher than expected and soaked the fireworks, rendering them useless. They needed to acquire all new fireworks; and had to set them up with very little time left to go.
Suika thought for a moment, trying to determine how to fix the situation at hand; concluding that having people run around like chickens with their heads cut off wouldn’t be useful for anyone. With a single shout loud enough to chill the bones of everyone within her vicinity; Suika would holler out “STOP.” Drawing everyone’s attention to herself.
Within moments, Suika would work together with several people who lead the group to begin with and came to realize that there was in fact a smaller shop that specialized in selling fireworks of all kinds, but the concern was that they could be sold out; and with it being on the other side of the beach; even running wouldn’t make it so the fireworks would happen in time. The only way across quick enough was through the ocean but even then, that was impossible as no one could swim that fast, or last that long swimming…
Suika thought to herself for several moments; smirking as she realized that she could simply turn a strip of the ocean into ice to skate across it fast enough to get to the shop; however, she didn’t want everyone to see her use her power… With quickly thinking, she would inform them not to worry about it; that she’d make it there and back as quickly as possible and be able to make it to set up the fireworks.
Before Suika knew it she was on her way into the water; swimming out as quickly as possible several feet; she knew that she could walk across the water, but her speed with that was nothing like it was when she was on ice.
A small sigh as she knew that she was a safe distance away from viewing eyes, she would form several hand signs the ice forming around Suika as she pushed herself up on top of it; as she began to skate across the ice would form under her feet quickly allowing her to move fast, with several minutes passing as she pushed her body quickly across the ocean; landing several feet away from the beach she would slip back into the water; watching as the ice behind her would begin to melt away; she would place herself on to the beach; walking across the warm sand as she moved along to the shop.
Upon reaching the shop she would speak to the owner, coming to understand that the shop was nearly out of fireworks; but that they had a small reserve for emergencies. A small eye roll from Suika; she would agree to make the journey to go and get the reserve and acquire the fireworks and return them to where she needed to be.
She would give the shop keep several thousand ryo, and went on her way with a map to locate the fireworks.
It was silly to her that she had to keep running through all these loops; frustrating at the very least as: she would move along to the location on the map, her eyes scanning the area; there was supposed to be a door that would locate an underground bunker that held the fireworks she was looking for. After several minutes looking, she found herself exactly where she wanted to be – her icy blue eyes staring at the doors to the underground bunker, opening them as she walked down the steps. Opening a final door, would turn on automatic lights as she would be greeted with quite a sight, shelves upon shelves of fireworks, almost as if it was an armory of fireworks.
It was something shocking to see, but she made her way through the shelves, taking two duffle bags that were give to her at the shop as she began to load them up with things that she determined would be interesting to see explode in the sky as she read the labels. It was something different, fireworks were not something she had ever seen before, and she was certainly looking forward to seeing it.
As she finally made her way through, the duffle bags were chalked full; and she would take herself out of the bunker, closing the doors behind her as she made her way back; this time she couldn’t swim and would have to begin her ice at the very start of the water, as she formed her hand signs; the ice would begin to form the moment she started walking against the water. Quickly her walk would turn into a run as she moved quickly; there wasn’t much time left and she had to get through quickly enough to get to the group and set the fireworks up.
As she pushed along the ice, she found herself at the other side of the ocean and back to the group, people would begin to cheer, grateful that she was able to go and get what they needed as she moved her arm; silencing them – “Let us get this together and set up quickly. It’s almost time.“ She would announce, the team would quickly work together as she set the duffle bags down. Making sure that they moved along the side of the beach and setting up the fireworks was a task, and Suika was good at tasks. Within fifteen minutes, the group would be finished and Suika would stretch out as she made her way to the center of the beach and laid down in a hammock; her icy blue eyes watching the dimmed sky as the fireworks would begin. It was a marvel, and something she hadn’t ever seen before… It was truly beautiful in its own way.
