The instant Senkou dashed forward his opponent vanished in a puff of smoke. His 360-degree vision no longer able to locate the female within the confines of the arena, her sharks disappearing along with her presence. Confused, but still ready to continue, he shifted his attention to the beam-channelling male. As Satoru had only just thrown his Kunai and took to action charging down the female, he was still quite close to the Rashomon gates that had been erected behind him.

Opting to take a breather, the Hyuuga made his way towards the top right of the arena, moving at top speed but not in a fashion where he would hit any obstacles such as the gates. He would make his way around the back of the gates, positioning himself behind them while still being able to observe his opponent effortlessly dispatching his rigged Kunai in the distance. Now motionless, he simply rested, regaining his chakra pools in anticipation of the second fight of the afternoon.

How quaint.

Due to the oncoming train that was their opponent and how fast the man was, Meika had no choice but to back out it would seem. Unfortunate, as it may be, but understandable. Living to tell the tale was much better than dying for the sake of glory. However, the two left on the field wouldn’t really be in it for glory now. The tides of battle would shift more towards guts now. It would most like boil down to who could outlast who seeing as there was just the consistency in almost not hitting each other due to combat prowess.

After the raven haired kunoichi had vanished in thin air, young Roki, dashing as ever would take note of his opponent running behind the gates of Rashomon. A temporary flight to recoup himself most likely, so the Kumo nin would also indulge in this treat. Knowing he was now at about half of his chakra reserves, the shinobi would end his previous lightning technique and copycat technique, but still keep up both his sage mode and doujutsu eye. While the one disc which had formed behind him would disappear without exploding, his hand would reach into his one pocket, and Hiroki would pull out a military ration pill; further proceeding to pop it into his mouth. The amount of stamina it gave wasn’t much, but any little addition to it was something.

The reprieve would also allow for a slight assessment over the current predicament. In his mind, the thoughts would race through His advantages; faster and can hit harder. X-Ray vision, as well as that damned 360 vision, so there’s no doubt he’s peering at me right now. My advantages; ranged combatant with a lot of area bursts to keep him from getting close to me, my Sharingan allows for a decent enough reaction time to be able to keep up with his movements at least. We’re almost tied on these fronts, so it’s going to be tough. But, where’s the fun in it if it wouldn’t be? Cracking a slight grin, the youngin’ would just simply stand there, forming a few handseals before place his hand on his chest to heal himself.

”Well, I will say Hyuuga, you are keeping things interesting at least. Dirty fighting? Only slightly, but…that’s what to expect from criminals like yourself.” The Shimadan’s voice would call out, no real point in the words besides just simply echoing what was perspiring in his mind.

Combat Stuff:

Senkou quite quickly changed his mind. He observed from approximately 35 meters while his opponent began healing and performing a myriad of other feats while Senkou rested. Rolling his eyes, he decided to get back to business.

Re-establishing the landscape, the top of the arena was North, the entrances were respectively at the eastern and western sides. As the young female was quite central to her entrance, with the male being 20 meters to her south, he would be positioned relatively closer to the southern wall than the northern and eastern walls. This meant that the amount of space the boy had available to him was rather restricted to a more obtuse angle as opposed to the straight angle that the boy benefited from upon entering. This in turn limited the space behind the young man.

Primed, his sword clenched the Senkou burst out from behind the gates, dashing in the direction of the male at top speed. Roughly 35 meters to cover but initially at only 150 speed. The instant Senkou entered the 10-meter range of the foe, Hyuugas Valor activated. It had to be noted that there were no obstructions in Senkous way and if they were he would naturally navigate around them. Likewise, he approached from the North Eastern direction, diagonally running across the terrain in the direction of his foe, intent on trapping the male in the corner of the arena.

Enhanced once again, Senkou would close the gap at 230 speed by a further 5 meters before stopping where he would be lowering his centre of gravity – he would crouch towards the ground, swiftly striking the ground with his left fist to send a ripple out into the immediate surroundings. The ripple would spread at 160 speeds with a power of 130, expanding up to 19 meters in diameter. If the opponent was caught in the technique, he would be launched 14 meters into the air by the powerful earthquake effect generated by the technique. Once up there, he would be a sitting duck, ready to be plucked out of the air.

It had to be noted that once caught the male would find his speed and strength debuffed by 30 for an extended period.

Hmmph. So predictable.

Gazing up the instant the sound of running feet could be heard, Hiroki would notice Senkou round about from the corner behind the gate. Unafraid, knowing that there was still time to do so, the Chunin would manage to heal himself before the Hyuuga could make it to about 25 meters, as it was still simply faster to weave handsigns then it was to actually close a 10 meter gap. Even for someone who could run at such a high amount of velocity. By the time that same dude would actually be able to reach that 25 meter distance, the healing would be done and over with; giving Roki both his hands to work with.

Being meticulous and wanting to end this sooner rather than later; there would be the unspoken knowledge that if the movement of the pursuer could simply be stopped for even a brief moment, there could be a significant amount of damage dealt to him. So, in order to do so, once the bukijutsu specialist would get within 17 meters, the black and red haired trickster would further showcase in where his talents had been. Both hands would simultaneously be used to perform two distinct series of handseals, with the intention of both being released at the same time due to the effects of the one. After that had been finished, Senkou would most likely have closed another 2 meters, but would now find himself unable to move due to the Genjutsu which had just been cast. This made him the prime target for the thick, purple cloud which would stretch out 20 meters towards him. However, the poison wasn’t like that of normal; instead it would be Roki’s unique one called Graven Rot. Just for extra measure, without the need of utilizing handseals, a burst of lightning chakra would reverberate outwards from the Shimadan’s body to a distance of 20 meters. Anyone who was unlucky enough to be caught inside of this would suffer from severe electrical burns.

Combat Stuff:

Senkou entered the 15-meter range before finding himself frozen in place. His foe was very much in reach so the fact that he was unable to get to him irritated him to some extent. Nevertheless, he observed the entire process of chakra being meaded within the opponent’s body as he performed a series of hand seals individual to each hand. He even clocked the moment he was frozen in place as he was overcome with a very distinct sense of fear, his opponent now sending out a heavy mist coupled with the likes of lightning chakra.

It was a showy display. The thick, purple cloud had to cover 15 meters before reaching the Hyuuga, yet it was escaping the young man’s mouth at only 110 speed. The Gigavolt technique set pace on the smoke, surpassing it at 130 speed. The instant the smoke began making its way out of the young mans mouth, Senkou acted.

He wasn’t about to be defeated so easily, especially after having entered the end game. Stationary, the smoke billowing from the boys the Hyuuga analyzed his own chakra network. To a Byakugan specialist, it’s as plain as day when a Genjutsu is impacting their own circulatory system. The flow is impeded and his body is failing to respond. His mind is clouded, and he’s overcome with a sense of fear. He knew himself too well, he knew as much that nothing about this boy instilled fear in him and as he couldn’t see any barriers, traps or the likes on the battlefield, the simplest of logical deductions insinuated that he was trapped in a Genjutsu.

“Makes sense…” he thought to himself as he pumped chakra around his body with the Genjutsu Release attribute intent on stabilising his chakra network post haste. On this occasion, it took a lot out of him, 1 quarter of his chakra reserves was needed to stabilise the flow which limited his options quite significantly.

Free of the Genjutsu, he continued forward, breaching the 15-meter gap further, effectively entering the belly of the beast while the opponent’s very own smoke cloud hindered his vision. Hyuugas Valor activated, he moved forward from his stationary position the instant the smoke had travelled 1 meter from the boys mouth, now obstructing his vision in its entirety.

Senkou advanced 8 meters, in this period the Gigavolt advanced 5.5 meters while the smoke progressed a mere 3.8 meters. He was now dangerously close to both of the attacks but he was positioned beautifully in front of his unsuspecting victim. In total, the gigavolt advanced 6.68 meters and the smoke advanced 4.8 meters.

At top speed as with every action that he had performed up to now, he channelled and concentrated chakra into his weapon, drawing it back without doubt on this earth before thrusting it violently forward as he had done moments earlier. This motion once again created a focused blast that extended from the tip of the weapon, travelling at 230 speed. The technique would expand up to 40 meters in height and width effectively trapping the man in the southwestern corner of the arena. To the naked eye it would once again appear as a softly blurred space. It would come to clash with the chakra-based techniques of his opponent, destroying them on contact before ploughing into the opponent with extreme prejudice.

This wasn’t all. The instant the Death Trust travelled 1 meter; a dome would come to expand from the Hyuugas body at 230 speed. With Senkou at the epicentre, it would expand up to its maximum range of 20 meters in all directions. The origin of the technique would be the Tenketsu of the criminal’s right arm. The instant the Death Trust imparted its damage upon the opponent it would go on cooldown, subsequently, the Body Flow technique would collide with the young man in succession with the Death Trust, with this technique imparting 250 powered damage.

There would only be a mere second or two where the effects of the genjutsu had been felt active, but, even before then, the person who casted it would be primed and ready for when it would inevitably break. Unfortunately, it was sooner rather than later. But as soon as there wasn’t a shadow beyond a doubt of it’s effects being worn off, Roki’s hands would go flying through the air to utilize some more seals, each hand doing different ones like his last tactic. One set would trigger first, creating an aura of chakra around himself which would be seen by chakra vision, and the Hyuuga would feel their speed reduced. While the second set would, in tandem, unleash a larger poisonous cloud which would expand outwards a decent amount faster than that of the first. This cloud would instead stretch out to 35 meters and on all sides of Hiroki, and with the speed of the self proclaimed god now reduced, should give enough leeway for it to reach the 7 meter mark.

While this occurred, Hiroki would also cast another technique, using Whistle Trigger. As the notes would be played, a seal would form in the air, possibly taking the charging bull by surprise. And what was particular about this seal, was it activated as soon as someone saw it with any form of vision. Since the Byakugan granted a vision which quite literally had the widest field of view which one could have, it was quite impossible to miss. So upon it’s activation, wherever the Hyuuga managed to land, would feel their movements halt again after being hit by the effects of the seal. So now, hopefully, they would be not only paralyzed and stunned, but also unable to use their highest ranking techniques while ingesting the Graven Rot. His gigavolt still traveling outwards because it was possibly never destroyed in the first place.

Combat Stuff:

The entirety of the approach was executed to perfection and now, he pulled back his arm, stabbed the blade forward creating the death thrust and topped it off with the likes of the area of effect version of the one-blow body. Both happened in quick succession, only 1 meter in distance between them. The instant the death thrust arrived within 0.2 meters of the opponent, it’d appeared as if he had some form of a realisation, panicking to form hand seals, and perform defensive approaches yet it would all be futile. This very fine distance margin was when the male had recognised beyond a shadow of a doubt that the effects of the Genjutsu binding had worn off.

The Death Trust would strike, placing the males enhancer on an immediate cooldown while imparting 230 damage. The technique would immediately go on cooldown at that point. Then after a period of 1 meter had elapsed the second technique, the one body blow would also strike the unsuspecting Shinobi, imparting a further 250 damage – sending him to the afterlife in the process.

With that, all the active techniques would go on cooldown, Senkou would collapse to one knee, his forehead catching sweat as he had won the fight by a very fine margin.

The second opponent also disappeared in a similar fashion to the first. Nevertheless, Senkou had achieved his objective and would be freed from the confines of the Kumogakure prison and allowed to return to the world of the living.
