Miki found herself entering the strangest of placing, as she exited out of her door; what should have greeted was the comforts of the inn she had been placed in for the time being, awaiting for the moment that she could finally buy the brothel house that she had found; that had been so perfect. But alas, she was several hundred thousand ryo still short; and time would not be kind to her... A frown would cross her face as the cold winter air greeted the young woman, fierce in its pressure, the flurries of snow rushing around the sky made the visibility more difficult than anything else; the cold was bothersome, the lack of dress wasn’t helpful, as she took a single step out of the door, just to poke her head around in an attempt to figure out what had happened to Hoshigakure; only to find herself loosing balance; a shrill shriek escaping the raven hair’d Princess as she plummeted to the snow covered ground, the white powder scattering more in the air as she made her connection with a loud ‘thud’. The coldness flushing into her body all at once; the white powder was freezing, more than she could have imagined, which simply meant that this... Wasn’t a dream. She called last year, when they had been transported to a similar winter wonderland; but this one seemed... Different from that.

In an attempt to collect herself quickly off the ground, her bare legs almost entirely covered in snow at this point; she found herself slip once again; the frustration kicking in as she realized the lack of footwear, all but explaining why she had found herself in her current predicament. Groaning softly to herself as she noticed an embankment of snow off to her side; only a few feet away, she awkwardly made her way towards it; slipping and slinging as she made her attempt.

Not before long, she found herself on top of it, taking the opportunity; taking the large red bow off of her, the large amount of fabric that once held her hair securely behind her untied her long raven locs, causing them to drape around the woman's body, as she begun to rip and tare at the bow, covering her feet in the finely made fabric that she had turned into makeshift shoes for the time being, hoping to find a shop where she could be the proper articles of clothing.

Miki had finally received her headband, officially marking her as a genin of Hoshigakure, the fabric of the headband was wrapped around her neck, the light blue fabric felt strange to her, but worked as she twisted the headband around, using that same fabric to cover her lower half of her face as she walked, the chill of the air running her bones ragged as she pushed herself forward, the wind was becoming worse; and the snow was only getting heavier to move through. It wasn’t until what felt like many hours had passed she finally came across the first door she had seen in quite some time; her eyes widening as she made an attempt to open it, only to be greeted by a locked door, the panic set in; “What if no one is there? Oh I’ve really boned myself this time...” Miki thought to herself as her fists began to pound against the door, hurriedly waiting for an answer.

The air amidst the area kicked and wailed as the Ushitora braved it, pushing the mask that had covered the bottom half of his face up in addition to the scarf he had as well. He had spent much time in this strange snow covered land. Met new faces and personalities that were definitely different than his and even got a chance to relive what he once was. The male now found himself wandering through an unknown area by himself. He didn't know what had happened to many of the others that had been traveling with him, only that now he was traveling alone. The blizzard whipped against his white hair viciously as he leaned to and fro finding every reason to continue onward. He used basic chakra control to warm himself up as he continued. It was a very basic skill to have as a nomadic clan, and even more so for a hunter who had spent many days out in the wilderness. When was the last time that he had honestly spent so much time out of the Land of Fire? Months? Maybe years after his exile from the Oni and his transformation? The Dragon knew not, but the memories were always freshly playing in his mind. He would stop briefly for a moment as he adjusted his shawl over his Kimono and kept braving the elements. Something about this made him miss his solitude in the Leaf village. At least there he could get a piping hot bowl of Ramen from Ichiraku's or even a bowl of Miso soup from one of the other stores. All of them warmed the body of the abomination, but not the soul.Not anymore. Minutes slowly turned into hours and after a while he stopped counting or lost track on how long he had been walking this path. If he turned around he could see his footprints being covered and eaten by the white snow, but it would not deter him from moving forward.

One of the more annoying things about this snow is that when it billowed and buffeted the area it made it extremely hard to listen to ones surroundings. An annoying aspect of the snow because it made it hard to discern his current location. While he thought he would be wandering aimlessly, he came up to a door and in front of it a person had been there. He could not see who or what gender wise it had been but as he got closer he could see that they were banging on the door. Walking up to it and to their right side, he would tower over her by a good bit if not a lot as his left hand moved to the door and rapped upon it three times. Each knock carried heavily on the door in hopes that someone would hear the knocks now. Looking down at the woman he would take the shawl he had and place it over her shoulders, and then looking back at the door," Whoever is in there should hear the knocking that we just did soon. Just hold steadfast for a moment longer and we should be in. I am Iscarot. And you are?," he would ask as he turned back to look at the door. In most people's eyes he would look like a Shinto Priest, but the air about he said other things.

Youta had got back to the cabin he and his family were renting. He had spent all day with his friends both old and new and knew that now it was time to spend some time with his family. He had a good time with them. They came to celebrate the holidays and spend some time before Youta started his big adventure at the wolf's den. He was excited and worried about his family. He was sitting by the fire after dinner and heard loud and obnoxious knocking. He had not had time to take off his uniform and things from helping others earlier that day and when he heard multiple voices he would get spooked and use his Meigan instinctually to see if he knew who was at the front door. He did not recognize them at all. So he would hide a kunai behind his back and tell his family to go upstairs. He would then answer the door. “Hello! How may I help you?” He would see that 2 people in front of the door. One a young lady with a Hoshigakgure headband and a man who looked like a Shinto priest but Youta could see the elements and tell that he could use chakra and jutsu. “Hello, My name is Youta Shinkou. Do you want to warm up by the fire for a minute this cabin is rented but when you are ready I can lead you to the check in cabin and you can see if there is another one. Or get a map or something the lady there is very nice and knows the town.” To which they would all make small talk and then Youta would say “alright follow me.” And lead down to the cabin where the lady they rented this cabin from lived.

Youta would walk up with the group and knock on the door. When they were invited inside Youta would notice that the Christmas Tree that was up when they checked in was gone and would ask the lady about it saying “Did you have a nice Christmas Tree up earlier? I swore I saw one. Either way these two might need some help.” The nice older lady would respond “Of coarse, of coarse, come sit I would be glad to help you all. And yes but it seems to have been stolen. The cabin next door also had their presents stolen. It is a sad time when you cannot even celebrate Christmas in peace. But I cannot go look for the culprit because there is suppose to be some horrible weather tonight.”

Youta would let them talk when he would say “I know we just met and all but I feel like we should at least offer to investigate and maybe get the tree back for her. What do you guys think?”

This blizzard was absolutely awful to trudge along through… She knew she shouldn’t have separated from the other group involving Akaboshi, the cold against her skin made her scars feel so much more frigid in this atmosphere. This frost began to cover her body, She just had to grit her teeth upon the incoming storm. The flakes of snow sticking into her hair with the wind trying to knock her off of her own feet… Yet she’s felt worse, she’s felt way worse than then. It all was a matter of keeping herself warm, as a result, running through the massive amount of snow could work, her eye glanced down at the ground, noticing how the snow kept on building and building further. Her blue one piece top that acted as pajamas for herself, along with her black pants tightly clinging to her figure. It was not enough to block out this much cold all at once. Something like this was greatly unneeded, if only she had the ability to use fire release of some kind… perhaps then she could manage all of this cold at once. Her raven black hair swaying in the winds, slowly Ryumi was beginning to get the hang of the cold and the snow, even going so far as to use her advanced transformation to make herself smaller to almost try and swim across the snow like it was an ocean. The smaller woman could be seen as a mat of hair swimming along the snow, not really caring about her clothing in this instance as she knew that they’d be fine later. For now she was trying to have some amount of fun within the snow itself. However there came a sudden crash near her vision, along with a lone figure trying to make his way out of a house while the blizzard was going on.

“Oi! Get back here!” The much smaller Ryumi bellowed out for the entire world to hear, she had shrunk herself down to being below three feet in height. Thus she was considerably much more agile than beforehand. The figure dashing off as the small girl was chasing after him, right as Youta and co were discussing someone having stolen some kind of christmas tree. The man had a few things on his back, and was currently running away because he had stolen an entirely different object. As with this storm however, it was hard to keep track of him. The bastard was wearing nothing but white for crying out loud! The snow kept on getting into her eyes, unable to keep her gaze on him for too long while making a mad dash towards the person….. They were fucking FAST.

Trying to use her own arms to stretch out towards him, she was able to grab him, however the snow had made her grasp slippery, only managing to rip off his shirt as he ran off even further away. Ryumi’s smaller body was not able to keep up as she continued to run across the town street in order to catch this thief and bring him to justice!

Miki smiled towards the man who placed the shawl around her shoulders, her emerald eyes staring up towards him as he towered over her, his loud raspy knocks against the wooden door were nothing but patience, something she hadn’t been in her fear of freezing to death... Her mind had completely forgot any and all training she had up and to that point... Tsuna-Sama would be more than disappointed in her. Miki gave him a small smile as he introduced himself, “Miki... Thank you.”

Finally, the door would open, Miki finding herself taking quick note of the boys words as she rushed towards the fire, feeling the warmth of it cascading across her body as her appendages began to tingle ever so slightly. It wasn’t until then she realized she had taken off inside to a fire, that she realized the other male had also given his name... She had been so focused on heat that she completely ignored him, wrapping her arms around her legs as she stayed close to the fire, “Hey Youta... I’m Miki Satow... By the way.” She whispered, loud enough for him to hear.

As Miki focused on warming herself, she took note of the almost bare looking surroundings... Almost as if there had once been things placed that were no longer there... She could tell by the displacement of dust that things had recently been moved... Her suspicions were confirmed when the female voice began to talk about how they once had a Christmas Tree... And now it was gone. Of course Miki felt for the woman, but she was certainly in no condition to run out in the blizzard raging on, being ill dressed and without shoes.

Miki sighed softly, beginning to unwrap the make shift fabric, she needed to throw out, and let the fire warm her toes without the damped cloth... It was more dangerous to keep it on either way. As she finally loosened the fabric, her eyes would winded as she finally noticed that she had shoes on again... She narrowed her eyes staring carefully at them... Remembering the shawl that had been wrapped around her body, covering most of her, she moved it – her eyes staring directly at a pair of warm thick white leggings that laid against her skin... She was certain that wasn’t there before...

Something was strange about this land... but now she was more than warm enough. “Maybe we should help.” Miki spoke up, her emerald green eyes glancing towards the two others and the woman, “Something tells me... In my gut we should help.” Her panicked voice tried its best to keep cool, even if the voice cracks and fear in her eyes made her seem almost all but wild... She wasn’t sure if it was this land, or if it was this cabin... Or if it was because they now had some strange mission...

There was a loud bang against the door, the ‘creeeeeaaaak’ that followed made Miki more than aware that the door was being opened, before the final loud ‘thud’ of the door being slammed against the frame. “Miyasaki?” Another feminine voice called out. Miki would scan to see the faces of the current people in the room for a reaction, yet there hadn’t been one... Another sigh, this other voice was looking for someone. Miki stood up, walking towards the voice to see a woman in her mid fourties, staring bewildered towards her, “H...Have you seen a man... Blonde hair, brown eyes... He...He’s about 5 foot 9... M...Medium build...” She stammered out, Miki would simply shake her head, a small frown across her lips... “H..He tried to follow... What he thought was the thief... But he hasn’t come back and the weather is getting worse...” The woman whimpered out, another annoyed sigh came from Miki.

Ill-prepared people running after bad guys like they were the main character in some story book when they would barely survive the first chapter let alone the book... Her hands reached up, rubbing her temples slightly before the large smile would return, they had already agreed to go search for the thief... What was one more person to worry about finding? It would seem like they were searching in the same direction regardless.

“We will find him.” Miki stated, “Go back to your family. We’ll be leaving soon to go and look.” She gave the woman a small bow, watching her leave... Miki would return to the group, giving them the mans name and his description. “I might have already agreed to find him...” Miki gave out a small chuckle, “I figured if we were looking for the same thing to begin with... Our paths will eventually cross with his and we can send him on his way.” She shrugged. “Either way we should get going... I’m sure we aren’t the only people who will be searching for him.”

She turned heel, preparing herself to leave, pausing to give back the shawl, knowing that she had spotted a coat that seemingly would fit her, and no one else rather perfectly when she originally turned the corner to speak to the woman... This cabin was indeed strange... The unease it gave was still ever more apparent.
