Grunts and then verbally admits with a sting of disappointment, almost confounded while poking at an empty wallet. Frustratingly getting even more aggravated by his current situation, Ichimaru would clamp the bare billfold within his right hand. He was broke, without a single coin to his name…and stranded in wolf country.

Exactly how long has it been since he came here, he would wonder, bringing his left hand to clasps his chin between his thumb and index finger. Three? Four? Or was it six months? The days passed him by in blurs. He couldn’t even tell what day it was. He reminded himself of a lost cause. Something that he wasn’t particularly pleased by. Doing away with the ache of his circumstance the Ajin would return the wallet back in his garb. Simultaneously retrieving a paper with a seal of ascendancy.

Once opened the man would inspect its confines and learn about a few hotspots where merchants travel through with their wares. He winced at the suggestion given from that letter. It didn’t sit well with him. Robbing the weak wasn’t necessarily beneath him, but he wasn’t entirely thrilled about it either.

“I guess I don’t have much of a choice.”

He said, his voice tinged with disapproval. Making his way to his feet he would pat himself clean of any debris. Using his left hand to block out the sun as he looked around, searching for the direction he was required to head in for this to go smoothly. It wouldn’t take him long to figure out where he must go. And with that he took off north.

After some time the white-haired man would come to a stop, a fork in the road. This must be the place, he would assume. Taking another few seconds to just make sure he would spot in the off distance a man leading a donkey hauling a cart of unknown wares. This was good, it meant that he wouldn’t have to wait and he could get on with it.

Glancing to the right he noticed a bush, sighing he knew what he must do. Using it as cover ge awaited for the merchant to pass, and once he did he would pop out. The animal had no time to react, or even be startled as Ichimaru rushed pass and knocked the unexpected man across the back of his head. Resulting in a knock out. The Missing ninja would stand over the man, lazily looking down at him as he then rolled his eyes to check the cart. Rummaging through random wares and items that served him no purpose.

“Jackpot! One thousand ryo. Looks like I’m getting off this rock.”

His eyes gleam with reassurance. From there he abandoned the area, not wanting to be seen by anyone next to the unconscious merchant. In the midst of him fleeing from the scene he would come to a sudden stop abruptly, before turning back.

“Dammit! I can’t leave things like this. It’s just not right!”

He shouts, rushing back towards the scene. There he would see the slumbering merchant and his donkey, slowly moving away. Ichimaru darts pass the merchant and rushes towards the donkey and delivers a devastating elbow to the side of its head, resulting in the animal collapsing from the force, ultimately knocking it out as well. He would smile satisfyingly as he could feel the resistance in the animal compared to its owner. The disturbing smile that painted the face of Ichimaru would be enough to unnerve anyone. How could someone take pleasure out of hurting a animal as innocent as that donkey. But it wasn’t like that. He just figured that naturally the donkey was far more stronger than the merchant.

He was now truly done there, rushing off with a satisfied expression.
