Owe Money Pay Money

Hanzo couldn't sleep well due to the heavy downpour and loud thundering last night. It was so cold that the Uchiha had to close all his windows and turn on his heater. The dark sky cleared and the sun came to brighten the Genin's day. He woke up from his slumber, still tired as he didn't have enough sleep due to last night's event. Hanzo was still determined to rank up. He wanted to get stronger fast so he could be a part of the Sound Ninja 5. He took a hot warm shower to relax himself from the cold weather from last night. The young Uchiha changed into his attire and adorned his Tanto on his back middle shoulder, hoping for a mission that may have some battle. He badly wanted to test out his strength. He put on his boots and left his home with hope and took a deep breath.

As he was slowly walking towards the Otokage Mansion, he could hear some commotion coming a few blocks away from his house. He walked towards the sound of the commotion and saw a rowdy family arguing with an old man. He didn't want to intervene as he didn't know what the issue was. He wasn't sure if he should voice out. He turned around and left the area. Hanzo was now in front of the Mission Board. As he was scanning through the board, he wanted to do a D Ranked Mission as he had some requirements to fulfill if he wanted to rank up. A particular mission sheet caught his eyes. The young Uchiha grabbed the mission sheet and looked through the details. To his surprise, it was regarding a family that didn't pay their rent to the landlord and refused to pay or leave the house. Hanzo understood that the requester was the old man, the owner of the rented house the rowdy family was staying in. The Genin kept the mission sheet in his pocket and walked towards the house.

As he reached near the house, he saw there were three members of the rowdy family, the father, mother and their son who appeared to be the same age as him. As he approached them, the son bolted to the old man and was about to punch him in the face. The Uchiha immediately intervened and caught the punch in his right hand. "You need to leave the house since you have not paid the landlord for several months" Hanzo said in a stern voice. The young man retrieved his hand from the punch and said they will not leave no matter what happens. "Who the hell are you?" the young man exclaimed angrily. "My name is Hanzo Uchiha, I have been tasked to remove you from the premises. Please leave the area" the Genin said while focusing his eyes on the young man. The young man as taken aback that he was dealing with an Uchiha, a clan famous for their eyes. Since there was a huge crowd present, he didn't want to look weak in front of them. "I'm not scared of you or your eyes, we will not leave this place" the young man uttered while his voice was visibly shaken. "I'm not here to fight with you, I'm here requesting you to leave. I don't want to have to fight you or anyone from our village" Hanzo responded while trying to be polite. This didn't stop the young man who ran inside his home and brought out a sword. The Uchiha knew he had no choice but to engage in battle. Hanzo never took his eyes off him.

As the young man swirled his sword at Hanzo, the Uchiha removed his Tanto from the back of his middle shoulder and blocked his novice attack. Not wanting to engage in battle, Hanzo activated his Sharingan and stared at the young man with killing intent in order to scare him off. The angry young man was shocked at seeing the Sharingan for the first time in his life and felt the intensity of the shinobi's killing intent. "Make a move and I will kill you" Hanzo said without breaking a sweat. The angry young man dropped his sword on the floor, feeling defeated. He bowed and apologized to the old man, seeing this, his family also apologized to the landlord. The rowdy family started taking all their belongings and placed them into their carriage. The Uchiha took a seat at the front of the house, observing them with his Sharingan incase they made a ruckus again and to make them feel scared of him. The young Genin was feeling tired since his chakra was being drained, he hastened them to complete their removal of items from the house. As they finally finished, they left the area of the house in search of another. As Hanzo deactivated his Sharingan, the old man walked weakly towards him and thanked him for his service. “Let me know if you require any other help, I will do my best” Hanzo said to the wrinkly old man, assuring him that Hanzo got his back. The old man put his left hand into his pocket and took out an envelope and passed it to the young shinobi. Hanzo opened to see that it contained the reward money inside and felt delighted. He immediately kept the envelope in his pockets. The Uchiha, seeing the old man was struggling with walking, helped to clean the house of dust and wiped the floor.

The young Uchiha waved at the old man and left the premises as his mission was completed. He could feel the strain on his body whenever he activates his Sharingan, he knew he had to upgrade his one tomoe to two tomoe count to reduce the amount of chakra being drained. He oiled his Tanto and kept it on his bedside, thinking if he should focus on Bukijutsu. He went back home and laid down his Tanto in order to meditate for a while before heading to bed.
