"I'm very please to have a conversation with you Otokage sama" Hanzo responded to his Sensei. At the moment, even though feeling like an orphan, having the Elder Uchiha for him there made him feel at ease. It was like he was a part of a family again, even though it was just a brief feeling. Hanzo was intrigued by Raikur's speech. Since he had no prior interaction with anyone from their clan, he wondered what kind of powers their clan members possessed. He seemed very protective over his sister as well. The young Uchiha could feel the potential of Raikur and just as for Harune, he wanted to be there for him as well. Once his introduction was finished, the Otokage stood back up and started speaking.

The Otokage summarized the whole episode of introductions that all of us had some tragic past and deaths of our beloved. The next thing he said shocked Hanzo. Apparently the Otokage had some implants done to become stronger. "Is that how his Mangekyo Sharingan evolved? Is the implant the source of his power? What kind of implant was done?" Hanzo wondered. Due to the hatred within Hanzo, he absolutely wanted to gain that power, which he thought of asking his Sensei at a later time. The Otokage advised on Hanzo talking about not having a weakness. Hanzo felt that it was a let down towards the Elder Uchiha but still he didn't want his fellow teammates to know about his disorder. His fear of being looked down haunted him. Hanzo just smiled politely and nodded at the Otokage.

When the Otokage asked about the team members abilities, Harune immediately volunteered. She had the Fire Element and specialized in Medical Ninjutsu, what took him back was the Sun Release, which he had never heard of. "Sun Release, what kind of Element is that?" Hanzo wondered. Not only was she beautiful and cool minded, she had an unique element. Once she concluded, "I possess the Lightning Element and I specialize in Ninjutsu. I'm currently trying to specialize in Bukijutsu as well but I'm looking for a perfect weapon that would compliment me" Hanzo voiced to the team and waited for Raikur to speak up. As he was speaking, he could see that the Otokage was making a square-like area with his foot on the ground. Once everyone was finished with their ability briefings, the Otokage gathered the team within the square like area that he made.

The Otokage removed three silver earrings from his right ear and held them up for the team to see. He informed that the goal was to acquire the earrings from him and there was no rule for the Genins but the Otokage made a self imposed rule that he will be acting in a defensive manner only. He immediately jumped to the center of the arena. Without any hesitation, Harune led the team attack. She informed Raikur to go left and Hanzo to go right while she'll do a frontal assault. As she stated the plan, she immediately used the Great Fireball towards the Otokage.

As Hanzo ran to the right side of the Otokage with his Sharingan still active, he stood 12 meters in a straight line from him. The young Uchiha performed the Monkey → Bird → Hare → Ox → Tiger → Bird → Dragon → Rat hand signs and initiated the Chidori Sharp Spear Technique (Power: 84 | Speed: 84). As he extended his left hand towards the Otokage, a high concentration of lightning chakra surrounded Hanzo's left hand and he extended it to 10 meters. With the technique completed, he ran towards the Otokage and made a slashing gesture from right to left from 7 meters away.

Raikur listened intently to their team leader and Otokage speak of his history, of how he was able to gather so much power. He was intrigued, the leader of his village, the PROTECTOR of his village was standing right in front of them all, admitting that he had done unspeakable things to attain power. Raikur's interest was extremely piqued, children were often brought up and taught to believe that their Kage was a pariah of morality, that he was a shining beacon of light. Yet now whenever Raikur looked at him, all he could see was darkness, this young Shokku felt that he resonated with this man, that perhaps not all was black and white in the world. It lifted his spirits as Kaito spoke on, it seemed that the Uchiha man was in fact a very good fit to lead this team of sad misfits.

Raikur was especially interested in Kaito's demonstration of performing the Wood Style element, something that would require the DNA of another clan to perform. From his studies, the young Shokku had learned that Wood Style was created by a very famous Hokage of the Senju clan, many, many years ago. It appeared that the Otokage was not even above stealing the DNA of others to increase his own strength, Raikur decided that he would need to speak to his sensei in private about obtaining such abilities himself...

It was then time for the three Genin to introduce themselves in a different way, to work together and combine their skills. Harune went first and did not seem to hesitate at all in announcing her abilities. She told Hanzo about her affinity to the Fire Style element, and even went on to reveal her incredible Sun Release abilities. It seemed as if she trusted their newly met team mate already, so if she trusted him, then Raikur would also. The twins did not agree on everything when it came to discussions of morality and doing the right thing, but he trusted he judgement more than anyone else. Harune had learnt her lesson as a child when it came to trusting the wrong person, and she had paid dearly for that error, now Raikur knew that she would make the right call.

It was Hanzo's turn to speak next and he began to explain his own abilities and specialties. Raikur was surprised to hear that Hanzo was also proficient in the Lightning Release element, just like himself. Doubly so when the young Uchiha explained his desire to work on his Bukijutsu abilities, something that Raikur himself had been doing. He wondered if a competitive rivalry would be formed out of a mutual end goal. If so, Raikur had no intention on losing out to his new team mate, he would go for the win. It was finally Raikur's turn to speak.

He spoke softly and calmly, "Just like you Hanzo, I specialise in the Lightning Style element and Ninjutsu. I have been practicing my Bukijutsu also, I have made an acquaintance from the village who is a skilled blacksmith, I will be commissioning a weapon for myself from them at some point in the future." He looked over to their sensei to see him creating what appeared to be some sort of make shift training ground. "I would assume that we are now going to have to work together to achieve some type of training exercise goal, our sensei is going to be testing us..." He faced Kaito as the Otokage returned to the trio, awaiting his instructions.

Upon hearing Kaito's instructions, Raikur readied himself for action. The three of them were required to steal the earrings from their team leader, no small feat considering the obvious difference in ability, but it would not be impossible. He heard Harune's makeshift plan and nodded slightly. "That sounds fine and we are all obviously going to need to go at him with the intent to kill if we want a chance of succeeding. But both of you remember, do not get sucked into a fight with him, our objective is the earrings." He assumed Kaito would make quick work of them if they took too long, so the aim would be to end this as swiftly as possible.

Pulling out his tanto, Raikur began to infuse it with his chakra, strengthening the blade and its deadliness. Following this, Raikur moved 10 meters to the left of Kaito, beginning to control his breathing along the way. Once he got into position, he felt his breathing come under total manipulated control, increasing his power and speed, Raikur pushed it further to the point of growing even stronger (+60/60 to Speed and Vigor). He felt his body begin to strain slightly as he did so, this Refined Concentration Breathing forced him to lose 5 HP for the boost.

He saw his twin sister make an impatient decision to get started, beginning to form her hand seals for some Jutsu. As she did this, Raikur would form a single and simple hand seal. Ram. Feeling his speed becoming even more amplified, as the Body Flicker Jutsu took effect. Harune attacked with her Great Fireball Jutsu, as he spotted Hanzo form an incredible 10 meter beam of lightning from his arm. Raikur had heard about a famed technique similar to this known as the Chidori, he wondered if Hanzo knew this technique. The young Shokku would need to learn it some time soon, perhaps even today...

Raikur would wait a moment for Hanzo's attack to begin first, so as to avoid getting hit by its extensive reach, before dashing forward with a maximum speed of 250 (cannot go higher due to stat cap). His target destination would be half a meter directly behind wherever Kaito ended up following the attacks from Harune and Hanzo. Upon reaching his destination, Raikur would then attempt to slash down across Kaito's shoulder, ensuring that it would be the arm he was using to hold the earrings, hopefully resulting in the Otokage dropping the earrings. If he was successful, Kaito would take 55 damage from the strike (90 speed stat).

Harune would be the one to begin the assault on the Otokage-turned-sensei, but before this would begin Kaito would activate his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan as he slipped the earrings into his pocket.

The young Shokku woman engaged with a large fireball, clearly of the fire elemental affinity, and Kaito noticed both Hanzo and Raikur take the respective left and right flanks on either side of him. Hanzo would waste no time in forming a lightning-release technique in his right hand and dashing right for Kaito, and Raikur would seemingly disappear in a quick flash of light from beside him. Thanks to Kaito's Chakra Sensory abilities, however, he could easily feel the boy's Chakra behind him, and he jumped up into the air as high as he could; 12-meters. With the use of his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, he activated a long lost and once thought forgotten power of the Kamui; the Apsam Kamui technique. Starting the technique 2.5 meters in front of where he had been standing, a cube bearing [125] power and [125] speed began to expand outwards to be 15-meters in all directions. All of the techniques from the genin and the genin themselves would be ensnared by the technique, freezing them all into place as the technique expanded around them.

Once Harune, Raikur, and Hanzo were all frozen in place, Kaito landed back in a manner that he was stuck between Hanzo's stream of lightning, Harune's huge fireball, and Raikur's swinging sword. Looking around, he could tell that Raikur would surely be caught in his sister's attack.

'It wouldn't be good in the slightest if I have to take him back in a body bag after one day of training...'

Picking up Raikur, Kaito moved him to the right of where the Shokku boy was originally positioned, making it so that he stood facing Hanzo but far enough away from the younger Uchiha that he would not be slashed by Raikur's sword. Once done, Kaito positioned himself at the other far corner of the cube, far away from but facing all three of the genin. With the snap of his fingers he would release the Apsam Kamui technique, and Harune's fireball and Hanzo's lightning attack would collide in fantastic sparks reminiscent of a fireworks display.

"Not bad for your first united attack," Kaito complemented as he removed the earrings from his pocket, displaying them in his open palm. "But no cigar, I'm afraid. For future reference, Raikur, I advise not putting yourself in the line of an oncoming attack, even if that attack may be from a fellow comrade. Keep in mind that they may not have the ability to stop it before it hits you."

The world swirled into slow motion as the raging fireball ascended to its target. Small flames bursting from the sphere fizzled out as it rolled. Harune’s eyes looked to her left and then to her right as she watched her teammates listen to the command she gave out. Raikur moved 10 meters to the left of Kaito, which meant he was standing 12 meters away from her. Hanzo moved 12 meters to Kaito’s right, 14 meters away from Harune. Raikur appeared to be waiting on Hanzo to make a move, a move that would come in the form of a lightning-based technique that took the shape of a spear that was 10 meters long.

As the attacks from the three genin came close, they never made it to their intended target as Kaito ascended 12 meters into the air. Performing a technique, a small sphere came to existence 2.5 meters in front of where he once stood and began to start expanding outward. Upon initial notice, it seemed to the world would completely stop with anything that was inside it. As it was casted 4.5 meters from Harune, she would be caught immediately as she was not fast enough to run away and anything she did would not help. Plus, the expanding square reached past the makeshift arena, therefore, she would be entrapped if she did make it to the border. Crossing her arms, she allowed herself to be consumed by the cube.

It felt like she was stuck in concrete, no matter how hard she tried to move. It was effortless. Harune watched as her sensei would fall back to the ground, positioning her brother back where he was and out of the way of the soon-to-be clashing techniques that were performed by herself and Hanzo. Kaito-sensei would maneuver himself towards the far corner of the cube and disbursed it. Next came the clashing techniques of the fireball and the lightning spear. Lighting up the surrounding area in colors of orange, reds, blue and purples. Kaito-sensei began his praise and lesson, telling Raikur that putting himself in the line of fire by a comrade was reckless. He was right, of course.

Perhaps, it will be Harune’s best bet to support from the rear and leave the frontline assault to the two who use the usage of weaponry. It was hard to sync attacks as the trio have never fought together. It may come as a surprise that Harune and Raikur have never, but their time together was limited as she was trained by their mother as Raikur was ‘trained’ by their father. But nonetheless, they have to figure it out; especially, since they are going up against a powerhouse like Kaito-sensei.

“You guys start, I’ll follow your lead,” Harune told both the boys as she took her fighting stance.

Just as the young Uchiha made a slashing gesture from right to left from 7 meters away from the Otokage, the Elder Uchiha jumped into the air and activated his Forbidden Mangekyo Sharingan and used a technique that he has never seen before. With his Sharingan still being active, he could see a cube filled with chakra begin to expand outwards in all directions which Hanzo and his teammates were all caught in. Hanzo couldn't even move an inch and as he saw his teammates, they too were frozen in place. It was a moment of awe when the Otokage landed in the middle of everyone's attack and moved around freely, unlike the team of Genins who were frozen in motion. This showed Hanzo the power difference between his Sensei and himself. Even though the young Uchiha has awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan, he had no abilities that came with it, instead it was just pain and bleeding from the eyes. Hanzo was determined to awaken his abilities that would rival the Otokage, not to battle him, but to protect the leader of his village. The Otokage even moved Raikur out of Hanzo's attack range in case of friendly fire and when he snapped his fingers, the technique was released. This made Hanzo's lightning attack and Harune's fire attack collide with each other that made a magnificent firework.

The Elder Uchiha complimented the team's effort on making a good frontal attack and displayed the earrings again on his palms. As the earrings were still on display, without having any hesitation, Hanzo weaved the Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox hand signs that were clearly visible to everyone and initiated the Chidori technique in his left hand. Instead of using the Chidori Sharp Spear again which might accidentally hit his comrades, using the Chidori would mitigate the space issue as it would be a close range attack. Hanzo wasn’t sure if the Otokage would use the same technique that stopped them in their tracks but he was surely interested in what other techniques he had up his sleeves. Since Harune instructed Hanzo and Raikur to take the lead, Hanzo started charging his Chidori while waiting for a signal from Raikur to initiate an attack together that may hopefully assist in getting their earrings.

Raikur felt as if he had been mere fingertips away from striking the Otokage before he felt his whole world freeze. Or at least he thought it had been the whole world at first. The sudden sensation of losing the ability to move at all was overwhelming, unlike anything the young Shokku had experienced in the past. The Otokage made Raikur look like a child with how so easily stopped his movements, as well as the abilities of his team mates. He could do nothing but watch helplessly as Kaito gently picked him up and moved him out of harms way, had this been a real battle he would have liked taken some serious damage from his own team.

Raikur cursed to himself as this all took place, he had made such a simple error and made a fool of himself. How could he be stupid enough to risk getting caught up in the crossfire of his own team's coordinated strike? Even though the three of them had never actually fought on the same side before, he knew it was something he himself would need to work on. The Otokage gave them some praise, followed by stating the obvious for Raikur, before moving to the far end of the cube and snapping his fingers, releasing the team from their embarrassment for the time being. Raikur's team mates' abilities suddenly clashed following this.

Quickly moving closer to his team mates after this happened, Raikur continued to face his sensei before he covered his mouth and spoke at a volume only Harune and Hanzo could hear. "It appears that we will need a change in strategy. He may have just made us all look like fools with that technique of his, but the way he did it also gave me an idea. If we can force him into the air again, we just may be able to cause him to become vulnerable, even if it is just for the moment."

As he spoke, Raikur spotted Hanzo focusing once more before preforming his hand seals and creating another advanced looking lightning attack. The sound of a thousand birds rippled into the air, Raikur realised he was looking at the famed Chidori attack, one he had been studying for quite some time now. "Hanzo I hope you do not mind me stealing that technique." Temporarily stabbing his tanto into the ground, Raikur followed in his team mate's foot steps, performing the same hand seals Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox, before focusing his chakra into his right hand. Moments later, the sound of the birds rippled through the air once more, as both the Uchiha and the Shokku stood tall with their Chidori abilities active.

The weight in his hand was tremendous, and Raikur had to focus to maintain his balance at first. He covered his mouth once more and spoke to his team. "Instead of us all attacking him directly at the same time, only one of us should do so, with the other two aiming to cover any of his escape routes. I will go at him, since I do not think I will have much more mobility than that while I have this technique active. The two of you try to go at him from different angles, being prepared to change the trajectory of your strikes if moves to avoid my own. I think our aim here should be to paralyse him, so if either of you have the ability to do that, now would be the time to do it. Hanzo I have a feeling our Chidori's are capable of this!"

Picking up his tanto once more and confident that his plan was a good one, Raikur continued to focus on his breathing, keeping his body enhanced. However, he could feel his focus fading, he did not have much time left with this form active, so he would need to act quickly. Hoping that his team mates had an idea on what they wanted to each do next, Raikur dashed forward, directly at his sensei with a maximum speed of 120 (may travel at Jutsu speed). Raikur would attempt to strike Kaito with the Chidori, which had a power of 120. If he was successful in striking the Otokage, Kaito would have to have a strength stat equal to or exceeding the power of his Chidori, or find himself paralysed from the neck down.

The three Genin of Team Sonata seemed to take the Otokage's praise in stride, wasting no time at all to quickly regroup and revitalize their plan to get their hands on the earrings that were still in Kaito's possession.

'Good job you three,' He thought to himself, making sure not to lower his guard. 'They may just get these earrings all on their own...'

Kaito was quickly brought back to reality as the sound of seemingly thousands of birds pierced his ears. Looking for the source, he could see both Hanzo and Raikur building up huge amounts of Lighting-Release chakra into their dominant hands. Kaito couldn't help but be rather awestruck at this. From the continued use of his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan he could see that massive amounts of chakra were being used to keep the techniques stable.

'They have this level of chakra control under their belts already? Quite impressive...'

Moving quickly, Raikur would be the first to make another move against their new sensei. His movement was swift and perciese, and while these qualities were all well and good, Kaito could easily pick up on its most damning flaw; the fact that the user could only move in a straightforward motion. Under normal circumstances the Otokage himself would not be able to dodge this, but he had another defensive technique under his belt that would come in handy. Shooting open his right eye, Kaito would yet again activate his Kamui, but a completely different version than what he had utilized only a moment before.

This time, at [125] speed, the space surrounding Kaito began to warp, but this would be invisible to Raikur and Harune. This would be the power of Kaito's right Mangekyō Sharingan, and it would activate just in time as Raikur was only mere inches away from the Otokage's body when its intangibility effect fully kicked in. As the Shokku's Chidori would seemingly strike Kaito, the parts of the Uchiha's body that would be hit at all by Raikur would simply shift away to his personal Kamui dimension, leaving the undisturbed portions of the Otokage's body in the physical world. This would allow Kaito to avoid the Shokku's technique, and because of this Raikur would simply phase right through him and continue out of the arena at his blinding speed.

"Whew, that was a close one!" Kaito said as he phased the rest of his body back into the physical realm. "If I didn't have my Kamui, that surely would've given you three the win."

Not wanting to stick around to see how Hanzo's Chidori would feel if it came into contact with him, Kaito jumped back into the air again to his maximum 12-meter height, all the while forming the 'Ram' -> 'Bird' -> 'Dog' -> 'Boar' -> 'Snake' -> 'Rat' -> and 'Ox' hand seals before clapping his hands together. Majestic wings made of glass would form from the Uchiha's upper back with [125] speed, measuring a total of 2 meters in length, up to 0.5 meters in width, and 0.5 meters in height. Kaito flapped the wings rather uneasily, as this was the first time he had used the technique in the months since he had created it, but he managed to keep himself upright and stationary 12-meters above the ground where he had once been before Raikur attacked him.

Kaito looked down upon the three genin, smirking as he did so.

"Lets see if you lot can hit me up here in the skies. Show me what you got!!"

Harune was still in her stationary position: 12 meters from Raikur, 19 meters from Kaito, and 10 meters from Hanzo. As Harune surveyed the area, she felt chakra flowing inside her beginning to pick up pace. Getting thicker, stronger, and more powerful than before (Chakra Enhanced Strength 50/50 to Vigor/Chakra). Kaito-sensei is a powerhouse of a ninja, therefore, techniques that are going to be used on him need to be as powerful as well. But there is also the issue with timing that they had before, as they came close to getting a hit on him, but he was able to dodge it. They need an opening, but for that opening, they need a distraction. A distraction that came in the sound of thousands of birds chirping.

A surprise look formed over Harune’s face as Raikur was able to do the jutsu, not only that, but able to do it by just watching Hanzo perform it first. If Raikur could do that, she wondered why he would let their father get away with the things that he has done. Or not show him so that he could be impressed. ‘Raikur, I wonder what other things you are hiding,’ she thought as she began to form hand seals - Tiger - Boar - Dog - Dragon - Rat - (Ninjutsu Amplifier) while Raikur began to pick up his tanto.

Taking off in a sprint, she started to perform the hand signs following the previous ones: Rat, Dog, Tiger, Dog, Ox, Rat (Sun Release: Blast Sphere). Still moving forward, she watched as Raikur began to charge at Kaito-sensei while two small orbs of sunlight began to form in her hands. Moving at speeds far greater than her own, Raikur reached their sensei as she would be 9 meters away. However, Raikur’s attack would never connect, it was almost as if Kaito-sensei was a ghostly figure but not as Raikur just phased through him.

Then Kaito-sensei would start to jump which would have Harune launch her own attack at the man. Remembering the height he jumped to last time, she aimed and fired her sunlight orbs. One orb 5-meters to the right and another 5-meters to the left but still 12 meters above Kaito-sensei. The orbs moved at a power of 125 and speed of 95. The orbs would make their destination as Kaito-sensei began another jutsu. Using the seal of confrontation, she detonated both orbs so that Kaito-sensei would be caught in the middle of the blast range. The only thing was, she hoped was that Raikur didn’t stop so he would be caught in it as well.
