The Episode Where the Shinigami Split in Three

Within the haze of a smoke filled room caused by several many sticks of incense in hanging censers dangling at each corner in the room, dimly lit by the light of several other many candles, where two figures. Both resting upon the ground. One on a mat, directly in the center of a small ring of the burning sticks of wax sitting upright, the other nestled directly behind the ring, laying down horizontally aligned with the wall it was next to. One was the silhouette of a man. The Raiju of Kumogakure. Hiroki. The other, a more furry companion. A dire wolf familiar. Shichiro. Both were there, inside the once proud Shimada Estate; only a few days after the young lad had made his return home from his trip round the world with Ichigo and a few other Konoha nin, the Hokage being one of them. And because of such, he has grown. Exponentially. Not only was the power within himself feeling more amplified, but Roki also found himself within the possession of another, rather peculiar doujutsu. To reflect such a change, his day-to-day garb would also mimic it. Currently, a black and white vest made of a methodically matted fur; bearing a striking resemblance to one of a wolf's. Leather pants, same color as the vest, just on opposite sides, with the right half of the pants being the opposite of the right half of the vest.

To celebrate such growth, the man also decided it was finally time to divide and conquer. Forming some handseals, Roki would go through the motions, and upon their completion, two mounds of flesh would emerge in front of him. Two glowing orbs of light now within the palms of his hands; one black, the other white. In a matter of a few seconds, with a cursory look, the one mound would grow to a rather tall size when standing upright. 6'5" to be precise. Decently built, with more masculine features. And slowly, his more clay like appearance turn to that of flesh. Merging into a man who would play the part of the harsher side of one of Death's helpers; the Dread Wolf's Shadow. With the other being a complete foil on all fronts, save for his gender, to his counterpart. Short and petite in build, with long, strikingly colored hair and a feminine bone structure in the face. Younger, no more than the age of 10. And slowly, his more clay like tone would blend into that of skin, merging into a man who made up the lighter side to Death's many facets. The Dread Wolf.

Taking a moment then, before doing so, both beast and mortal would rise from their positions in a ceremonious way, doing so in complete unison with one another. The right palm would be shrouded by the hue of alabaster. Hiroki would place his focus in it, modeling a personality like that of his father. Vengeful, yet justly so. Protective and loyal; but on the other hand hot headed and quick to anger. The name Hiro, would be given, as the orb was then placed in the taller of the clones' chest. Now onto the other hand. A personality would be made for this one which was taken like that of his mother. Sheepish and meek but always energetic and radiating exuberance. Precise, but unpredictable. Ki would be given as the name, as the ebony toned orb would be plunged down into the chest of the other clone. And upon completing this, the technique would be done as both now fully formed would open their eyes.

Hiroki would take a step back, minding to step over the candles rather than atop them. Did that once before, never again would he make the mistake. But, besides the point. With a rakish gleam, he'd say "Right, so. Let's begin, shall we?"
