As everyone did their pushup like instructed by their trainee Nokino, the Uchiha girl standed still, looking at them training, seemglingly confused and not participating, or at least not in the first physical part of it. Nokino herself participated, feeling the need to always traing harde, better, faster and stronger, and also as a sign of leadership, to participate and feel the same thing her students would feel. She got on the floor and at the same time as the others, started to pump herself up and down, counting in her head, and breathing in a controled maner to inhale all the good air of the forrests and nature around them. She could feel the freshness of it fill her mouth and nose, and then her lungs, refreshing and cooling her down, as well as calming her down. The wind was a special thing for Nokino, and this helped her feel it even more. After the first hundred pushups, she yelled like she asked of the other too, congratulating Tatsuo on his graduation, something that for her was very important, even if for others it was benign, a student becoming a genin, but for the Iburi kunoichi, this was arank up like all others, worthy of recognition and a sign of the efforts the young kid was doing. For Nokino, this kind of training was the basics, as every morning before going to work or to do missions, she would do 500 pushups and a full training of her legs, as well as squats and 50 pull ups. After brushing trough the rest of the pushup like it was nothing, Nokino wasnt even starting to get tired, only feeling activated by it, her blood pumping warmly trough her body, channeling her chakra even better than before.
After a while of doing pushups and exhausting both their arms and making their body, chakra system and mostly, their resolve, alive and active, the group ended the physical training of pushups. Nokino got up and saw Himari meditate, and thinking it was a good idea, started to meditate too, with the confidence that the rest of the group would too follow the exemple and meditate for a few moments at least, before starting the training. As the tall kunoichi sat down, her leg crossed, she took in a deep breath, looking over the horizon from the higher position the gate she summoned offered, a watchtower in the forest, standing tall above the tree line of the land of fire, able to peer far into the land, seeing the far reaching mountains and lakes, rivers and plains. While she focused on the nature she could feel the intense wind comming from the sky, carressing every bit of her skin not covered by her clothing. From up there, no obstacles prevented the gale from blowing to its full fledged force. Nokino could hear the wind blow rapidly in her hears, making her hair dance behind her, her clothes to ruffle and move, and her smoke to extinguish. In a quick lip move, the konoha ninja spat out the cigarette down from the gate, letting it fall, and closed her eyes, focused and enlightened by the breeze itself, breathing in the clean and fresh air, filled with aroma from the forrest and the melting snow of the far reaching mountain peaks, bringing with it the sounds of chirping birds perched high up in the sky, gliding on the wind and living their best lives.
After a few minutes of this, Nokino slowly opened her eyes, got up, and turned towards the group. ''Alright students, well done on these pushups, but its only the beguining! I hope this had you flow goin' cause you gonna need it. Now, I want each and everyone of you to state what techniques they want to learn, and to also practice one they already know! Aim it at the pillars in the training field from underneath, but stay on the top of the gate! UNDERSTOOD? I'll go first, 'aight? LETS GO!" said Nokino in a hyped voice, ready for the students to show their best. ''A technique I want to learn is to make shadow clones!'' said Nokino. Rapidly getting both of her hands out of her flak vest pockets, and spreading her feet appart to have a combat position and grounding, dust flying under the sole of her sandals, Nokino quickly weaved the hand signs of Rat-Tiger-Dog-Ox-Rabbit in quick succession, and while blowing out her puffed out cheeks, 6 large orbs or fire exhuded from her mouth, firing in rapid succession into the training field, and getting out in a random shotgun motion, before, seemingly homming onto their target, all hitting the same pillar in the end, shifting their trajectory to do so, leaving in its stead only red hot coals and a pile of glowing cinder. Now waiting for the others to do so, Nokino looked at them carefully, attentive to any details and focused on their learning.

Tatsuo worked hard to get through his pushups. Sweat dripped from his brow down the tip of his nose and onto the surface of the gate, grunts and exhales puffing out of his chest. His arms were properly burning and a bit shaky by the end, as strength wasn't his strong suit, but he was proud of himself for making it anyway. It was more pushups than he usually did, by double at least, so that was an accomplishment.
When he did finish and sit up, he noticed a few of the others in the group sitting in a meditative position. No one had said anything about it, but not having any other instruction, Tatsuo followed suit. Crossing his legs underneath him, he took a few moments to calm his breath, letting his muscles rest and feeling the breeze cool his face and neck. He could feel the chakra moving through his body, pumping with his blood. This was a good spot to be in... the more active his chakra was and the more aware he was of its movement, the easier he could active his jutsu.
Not long into his meditation, he heard Nokino calling off the next set of instructions. Say what you wanna learn, and then demonstrate a technique..? He watched as she proclaimed she wanted to learn shadow clones, and then sent several balls of fire that Tatsuo recognized as the Phoenix Sage Fire technique, hurtling towards the wooden training posts below. Figuring it was his turn next, he stood up, thinking for a moment. "... I want... to hone my great fireball technique! And learn shadow clones! And learn how to use the lightning style! And practice my taijutsu!" Standing near the edge of the gate, he quickly wove his hands into the signs of Snake, Ram, Tiger, taking a huge breath that filled his belly and expelling the fire jutsu in a large stream that took the shape of a massive 5-meter wide sphere, crackling and swirling with intensity as it shot off twenty meters towards the training posts and dissipated into the wind.

Zainketu was glad he had so many people to train with. He had always kind of just done things solo. He never really fit in at the academy so this was a little new for him. Each one of the leaf ninja had a vastly different personality then any other he had met. It was a little refreshing to be honest. All of them seemed a little strange in their own individual way. It was an interesting group to say the least. It sounded like they had just enough in common to really help be able to help eachother grow.
Wow you guys are pretty good with the fire style. I'm going to have to learn that that phoenix sage fire ability. That is pretty sick! That fireball was awesome Tatsuo. It's already so much better then back at the compound. I'm going to have to up my game before I fall behind.
Zainketsu went through his own seals to do the great fireball jutsu. He launched a giant sphere of fire down at the training posts below in a similar manor to Tatsuo. In his desire to not get shown up he immediately followed it up with a second even larger fireball. He put all the Chakra that he could afford into it without it losing its shape. The combined heat from all the fire techniques began to permeate through the air. The ground below was getting very scorched from the continuous attacks.
I need to take that fireball to the next level. Any pointers from you guys would be appreciative. In return I should be able to teach you guys shadow clones. That's one of my specialties so that's no problem at all. I may even be able to teach you guys the lightning release. I'm still working on it myself so I'm not very good at it. I need to practice it more also. I can go over the basics with you guys so you can practive on your own. I'm trying to actually learn a variant of the shadow clone using lightning chakra so maybe i can kill two birds with one stone.
To make clones you need to do the handseals and then focus on splitting your chakra evenly. It's very hard to explain but you need to mentally picture what it would be like to be in two places at the same time. You have to believe you are in two places at once. Back at the academy they taught you how to do the basic clone tecnique. You want to use those same principals except you use your chakra to create an actual physical body right next to you. If you dont divide your chakra perfectly between you and the clone it will not work. It takes a great deal of control and focus at first but it gets easier with time. Once you get the hang of it you can start making multiples at once.
Zainketsu released his original two clones so he could start fresh in teaching them how. He demonstrated the seals to the group with a big smile on his face. He took it slow so that everybody could see what he is doing and that there was no confusion. He closed his eyes and really focused on being in two places at once. He worked on dividing his chakra perfectly and spent more time doing it then it usually took him. He really wanted to make sure he got it right. After a second another Zain appeared by his side with a poof.
That is pretty much all there is to it. As for the lightning release that is actually pretty simple. It's a lot like any other release. It's all about figuring out what it "Feels" like. Lightning is a very erratic and wild chakra nature. It bolts from one part of the body to the other with a mind of its own.You need to feel the static and the electeicity that flows in your body naturally and match your chakra to it. You have to focus that feeling and mold your chakra until your whole circulatory system is buzzing with electrical impulses. From there it is all about aiming and channeling the chakra outside of the body at a singular point. That's the first and most basic step of the Raiton Release. Once you get that down you can start working on control to perform multiple different jutsu. You guys should probably start with the E rank jutsu called Sparks. It is like the equivalent of the fire releases fire stream.
Both Zainketsu and his cloned performed a quick seal and a small beam of lightning shot out a meter away from its palm. The crackling of electricity carried on for just a moment before he let the jutsu fade. He figured while he helped them learn he would practice the jutsu he was trying to master at the same time. The young Uchiha let the clones fade before immediately trying to make more.
Only this time he molded his Chakra into the lightning nature first before dividing it. The Clone didn't come out as perfect as he would like. Some of the body was distorted and lightning could be seen arking around him. It definitely was not passable as a person. He was not going to lose hope though. The young genin would keep trying time after time until he got it right. He would keep practicing while everybody was working on learning the three things he just demonstrated to them. Even though he was very focused on his own task he made sure he was available to help the others in case they had questions or needed advice

Re: Nokino's Training #1: The Start of Something Great

Watching the Genin and instructor do push ups, it was weird, Xena felt mildly stuck in her own ways, she wasn't much for physical exercise, never had been, likely never will be, but she accepted it's results, it was good for getting the blood pumping, getting your muscles in working order among other things, it just was never something she excelled at, Himari's way of doing things was a bit more her style, though even that wasn't something she was into, she simply preferred the all of her blood pumping too come from adrenaline, it felt better that way, as weird as that sounds, she wasn't a adrenaline junky mind you, if she could tell a situation was too dangerous she'd concede and stop while she was ahead, though this monologue of inner thoughts began trailing off, mostly towards the two boy's from her clan, they seemed far more excited, was she like that when she was younger, she pondered trying her best too remember, by the time she snapped out of her little thought process the instructor had began shouting again, yeesh, Xena was gonna go deaf by the end of this class she probably shouldn't even be in, but she was and there was likely no ditching it, as she gazed about too the multiple individuals beginning to shout back towards the instructor their responses, it was something to smile at, they were really enjoying themselves, they should be, training days like this are the beginning of their long long lives.
As the two other Uchiha began releasing their technique's they were both somewhat similar too her own techniques, well, not that they belonged to her, many of the Jutsu's she uses were created ages ago, perhaps that's simply how all Jutsu's become legendary, speaking of which, with a sigh Xena placed her palms together, weaving seals at a high speed, she's learned them well, and thus isn't exactly the slowest user of hand seals, frankly she could do it one handed if she really wanted too show off, but that would heavily strain her chakra network, especially considering this coming Jutsu was something she hasn't even practiced too consistency yet. Weaving the signs, Ram, Horse, Snake, Dragon, and then Rat, she'd begin exhaling a thin spread of fire and smoke, unlike the other two's Jutsu, it hadn't erupted into a massive sphere of fire, rather it extending longer, and longer, until finally it reached it's limit, 20m, the line of fire slowly began configuring itself into... a dragon, one of Chinese mythos, as Xena's focus feigned from the control too change it's shape, it began too flicker, and fizzle, using the time she had she attempted guiding it towards the poles, though 30m's out the dragon vanished into a plume of smoke, with a discontent sigh she simply shrugged, a side eye glancing towards Himari, she was frankly extremely excited too see what the young Hyuuga had learned since their last time meeting, though it wasn't readily apparent too anyone who couldn't read minds.
Though she finally noticed something in the Uchiha that interested her, one knew lightning release, he used it too shoot a small beam of light, how interesting. Then he attempted too make a lightning clone, keyword being attempted, it wasn't a bad attempt at all mind you, but it wasn't perfect, not that she could even make a shadow clone, nor did she really want too right this moment, eventually after thinking for a moment after looking at the boy she'd comment. "Neat tricks, look what i can do." Upon finishing that line of speaking, she placed her palms together before weaving the signs for something special, it was a renowned Jutsu in it's own right, it's surprising that it was the first Jutsu too come out of her when she learned the Lightning Release, her hands moved fast enough that the signs were hard too make out, only every 3rd sign could be too normal eyes, said signs being Bird, and Monkey, and as the 6 signs for the technique were completed her hand erupted into electricity crackling along the area around her, each arc reached nearly 2 feet away from her before fizzling out, finally she pointed it down towards the targets, and multiple projectiles would begin too erupt from her hand, the shape of senbon were discernable, as they reached through the air sticking into a pole before creating a arc around the pole, until they finally fizzled from reality, the electricity however continued arcing around her hand as she pointed it up, the electricity beginning too extend upwards 20 whole meters, before spiking outwards around the entire beam of electricity creating what appeared too be a lightning bolt, eventually however Xena's chakra wavered and the electricity would die down, then fading entirely, she wouldn't show it but that took quite a bit out of her, she simply smiled at the two Uchiha commented. "Keep up you're training and I'm sure you'll be able too do that no problem."

Himari watches—stupified almost—as Nokino and the two, newly-inducted, Genin prospects announce the techniques and abilities they want to learn and a subsequent demonstration showcasing their talents to the rest of the retinue. Nokino performs a fire-style technique that expels several miniature fireballs from her mouth toward one of the training posts far below them, exploding in a brilliant blaze. Himari is impressed, and a little intimidated, by the sheer force of the blast.
Tatsuo and Zainketsu are next, and the two of them seem to have an affinity for fire and lightning elements, and, perhaps, a budding rivalry between the two of them. The first for "Show and Tell" starts with Tatsuo, who announces his desire to learn the Great Fireball and Shadow Clone Jutsu along with the Lightning Element to add to his repertoire of skills. Shortly after, he performs a couple of hand seals before a radiant, scorching stream of fire erupts from lips 20 meters forward. An impressive testimony to his dedication to the arts, Himari thinks to herself. At that moment, the event briefly reminds Himari of herself after graduating from the Academy. Except she was a year late in the endeavor, although her physical prowess was—and still is—a force to reckon with in compensation for her inability to properly utilize mold her chakra. Even performing basic Ninjutsu techniques such as the Clone and Transformation techniques were difficult to execute due to her medical condition.
In hindsight, she's actually come a way's way. Not only has she become adept at Taijutsu and learned many of her clan's signature techniques, but her ability to knead and channel chakra improved exponentially since graduation that she's able to perform a few of the most difficult techniques belonging to the field of Medical Ninjutsu. And she's all but eager to demonstrate her capabilities when her turn comes around. After Tatsuo comes Zainketsu—the original out of the other two clones present—who asserts his aspirations for today's training while he performs a greater and more magnificent fireball Jutsu, followed by simple yet effective, lighting-style technique and... At the very least, a worthwhile attempt to form a lightning clone, and Himari is enlivened to see the young man's capabilities. One could argue she feels a hint of nervousness from the potential challenge he presents.
In particular, she pays close attention to the E-Rank Jutsu, Sparks, that Zainketsu performs, describing the ability to perform the phenomenon requires a simple but fundamental principle when learning any Jutsu that utilizes the flow of chakra: to recognize the specific feeling that comes when you understand its nature, and attempt to mold into shape and form. Himari's mother had taught her this lesson a while back when she wanted to improve her chakra control in an effort to become a medical-nin and it seems that lesson will be paying her back tenfold in her understanding of the nature of Lightning chakra.
Almost getting ahead of herself to mimic the seal and perform the Jutsu herself, Xena, steps forward without an announcement that precedes her own demonstration of several hand seals that weave into each other before her chest heaves and expels a roaring, flaming stream that quickly adopts the shape of an elegant dragon. The fiery serpent coils and twists about the air towards the training posts below, albeit due to the remaining 20-meter distance they share, the dragon soon flickers and fizzles out from existence. She doesn't recall reading about the technique specifically from her Jutsu encyclopedia, but it's certainly a powerful technique that likely ranks higher than C-rank, for sure.
And just when she thought things couldn't get any more interesting, Xena quickly remarks about Zainketsu's Sparks technique and performs another series of quick and concise hand signs, each sign flows into the next like a smooth, flowing river, before a thunderous, high-frequency, electrical current jolts from her person. Skilfully maneuvering about the Genin until they reach their maximum range and travel about them with reckless but coordinated abandon. Himari's amazed by the spectacle, especially the display of raw power and precision Xena demonstrates. It makes her wonder whether the girl was already a Chunin given her mien and what a surprise it'd be if she were to learn, instead, that Xena still holsters the position of Genin. However, the performance is cut short when the lightning suddenly disappears. Perhaps the technique has a limit?
Nevertheless, the side-eye she receives from her senior indicates that it's Himari's turn to display her arts and talents. Himari racks through her mind for anything to show, given how high up they are and the distance between herself and the training posts rest. That's one of the caveats of being a specialist in Taijutsu. Most techniques require her to be within close range to be effective, albeit, thanks to her heritage, she could compensate for that and extend her range toward a medium range instead. And although she has some proficiency in the medical arts, she only knows a handful of techniques which—consequently—require her still to be within short range of the objects in question.
And this concocts an idea in her mind: since the Uchiha are quite adept with the Fire Release, perhaps she could try her hand at something similar. But, first—
"I'm pretty pumped to learn the Lightning Element today and maybe a couple of Jutsu to go along with it!" She turns to Zainketsu and nods with a dopey wink and smiles on her countenance before she re-engages her vision back to the training posts.
Himari assumes a relaxed and focused posture with her legs slightly apart and her arms in a guard position, with her hands open and fingers extended. Her breath, although already lax, picks up a rhythmic beat with a greater intake of oxygen coursing through her veins. With her hand near her abdomen, she swiftly delivers a palm strike at her speed that inverts her stance, a soft, blurred space—2 meters in diameter and 4 meters in length—that bends and shifts in front of her as it rapidly travels toward the posts below. Albeit, the vacuum shell only covers a maximum distance of 30 meters before it dispels. And then, with her now repositioned palm, she thrusts it forward, again at her speed but instead, a projectile shaped like a sphere 10 centimeters in diameter erupts from her open palm. Once it moves a meter from the casting point or origin, the projectile breaks and sprays out 15 metal-like senbon, with points on both ends, of compressed air and travels in a straight line, sprayed like a cone.
As they fly across the air with deadly speed, alas, suffer the same result as her Vacuum Palm technique and disperse after they travel a maximum distance of 30 meters outward. Yet, Himari finds the display satisfactory and doesn't hide her glee. The expression on her face is a combination of elation and pride, her cheeks are flushed, and her hands and arms are akimbo.
"It's not much, but it's honest work! Although I can't teach you guys my clan's secrets, I still have a couple of other useful Taijutsu techniques that can help if you find yourself a in pinch." She gestures with a closed fist in one hand and another with only her index finger as she counts each digit on the former. "I can help with stuff like blocking, countering, feinting, and even 'floating'!"

After Nokino display, she watches carefully with an eagle eye the performances and wants of the other ninjas, taking mental notes on the abilities and progress of each of them. And boy did they seem to have progressed! Even if she saw them all recently, save this teenage Uchiha, they all learned or showed a techniques or jutsu that Nokino wasnt aware they knew, showing great development. Both the Uchiha Boys learned the Fireball jutsu, one that Nokino herself wanted to learn, as well as a bit of lightning jutsu too and the harness of this sparking element. As for Himari, her abilities werent as flashy, but the tall Iburi kunoichi was very aware of the techniques she used, and impressed a lot by her taijutsu skill, especially considering her age and innocent appearance, something that could be used to her advantage, as no one expect a little girl to break both of your legs with her sheer strength! As for this girl that Nokino never saw before, she could clearly master lightning like no one else, and was quite impressive with the fire dragon technique too. Even if she was weird, she could prove a valuable asset to the class!
''ALLLLLRIGHT! This was a good display kiddos! And you,*point to Xena* what is your name?.... Your abilities could be valuable to those young ones! What do you say? Wanna help teach 'em fire and lightning?'' asked Nokino to the Uchiha woman, with her arms crossed in a tall straight-back position.
''And you Zainketsu! Good work, now everyone lets follow the advice and practice to do clones or fireball for those who want, for the others go with the Uchiha not talking one, 'aight? Also, if anyone want to learn the pheonix fire technique, I can show ya, as well as the wind element that im trying to do!'' Added Nokino, in her classic drill sergent tone.
''OH! And before I forget, for any other techniques that ANY of ya want to learn, even if none here can teach it, here is the Great Encyclopedia of Jutsu from the Academy library! And here is a pack of blank scrolls, so each and everyone of us lets write the techniques we want to learn from the whole roster, and the one some of us have in common we can learn together, 'aight? LETS GOOOO!'' yelled with serious tone and no smile nokino, taking her assignement to the letter.
As she herself started to look trough the book and write her jutsu, she also tried and follow the instructions of Zain to split her chakra and presence in two as well as concentrate her mind to being two person, creating a shadow clone in the process. After a few attempt, she succeeded, and a single clone of Nokino appeared in front of her. ''Well damn, thats neet!'' said to herself Nokino, talking out loud to her clone, who in front of her, mirrored her gestures. With this effect still in place, both Nokino and her clone lit a cigarette, and while still mirroring herself, they both took a puff of the smoke and smiled, and finaly winked. Being now in understanding and control of the clone and how she needed to shape her chakra in order to do so, Nokino gave the clone the task to continue writing on the crolls the jutsu she wanted to learn, as well as searching the giant book for those same techniques.
Meanwhile, Nokino practiced herself the fireball along the young uchiha boys, but wasnt very interested in the lighting techniques. She still looked to all of the students and others present here, to be sure none fell left out or would not learn anything.

By the time everyone had finished showing their techniques, Tatsuo almost felt like his fireball paled in comparison. He watched as Zainketsu described two of the techniques he wanted to learn, shadow clones and lightning release, listening intently. The way he spoke about it, he made it sound easy. Tatsuo would just have to commit his demonstrations to memory for when it came time for them to practice. Next was the older Uchiha girl, Xena, who had been pretty quiet up until now. It looked like she was going to try a fire technique too. Tatsuo crossed his arms and watched as she started to blow a long stream of fire, but his expression quickly turned to one of awe when the flame took the form of a dragon. "That's awesome!" he shouts suddenly, grinning at the display. "I wanna make fire dragons.." It seemed that demonstration was followed up by one of the lightning release, and Tatsuo watched as the girl's palm filled with electric chakra, enough to create arcs of lightning all around her body. He then watched as she directed her palm downward, and several senbon shaped jolts were sent flying down, making Tatsuo raise his eyebrows. It looked like she had a pretty good handle on lightning release, as well. Himari was next, and Tatsuo was curious as to what she'd be demonstrating. To his surprise, it looked like she was demonstrating a taijutsu technique. He focused his eyes on her strikes, his single tomoe sharingan manifesting as he read her movements, noticing the shift in the air that followed each of her strikes. He thought of how powerful those blows must be to create vacuum pockets like that... or were they being made by chakra? He watched as her final blow caused their air to ripple further beyond her hand, almost in a sphere shape, and suddenly explode into a spray of needles. He whistled lowly. "... Remind me not to get on your bad side, Himari..." He smiles sheepishly at the Hyuuga girl, before returning his attention to Nokino.
It looked like it was time to start practicing. Tatsuo stood by Zainketsu first, deciding to try his hand at the shadow clone technique. Since Zain had explained it pretty well before, he felt confident that he would get the hang of it if he felt it out with his own chakra. He closed his eyes and focused, imagining himself being in two places at the same time. In his mind's eye, he could see himself outside of his body, looking back at him. Holding that image in his mind, he copied the handseals he'd seen Zainketsu perform, carefully sculpting Tiger, Horse, Ram, and the special sign that would activate the technique, focusing his will into splitting, letting his chakra surge, until he felt it happen. Suddenly, his energy reserves were only half of what they'd been before, and opening his eyes, he could see his counterpart standing in front of him, giving him the same dumbfounded expression. The two clones reached out and touched hands, before whooping and hollering triumphantly. "This is so cool!" they exclaimed in unison, grinning at one another. "I mean, it's real! It's not just an illusion, I can actually touch it!" Clone Tatsuo crossed his arms and smirked, wagging a finger at his original. "Don't talk about me like I'm not a real person, that's rude." Laughing, Tatsuo released the jutsu, sighing as he felt his chakra merge back together. He'd have to practice that more, later. He was positive he'd be able to come up with some cool strategies if he could use his clone in combat.
Now that he had a basic grasp of the shadow clone, he moved closer to Zainketsu, tilting his head a bit. "So, you were saying about the lightning chakra... how it felt really erratic? And it feels different to fire chakra..." Humming thoughtfully, Tatsuo sat and closed his eyes, trying to focus on his chakra, feeling how it flowed through his body. He would have to change its nature... somehow tap into the type of chakra that lightning release used, and draw it out. He could tell it was easier said than done. He decided to try mental imagery again, imagining his body being filled up by electricity, tingling his skin, trying to break free. Releasing a slow breath, Tatsuo opened his palm, letting his chakra flow into it. Nothing happened for a while... but eventually, Tatsuo began to feel a tingling in his fingers. Excited, he channeled more chakra into his hand, opening his eyes and staring into it, gasping when small arcs of electricity started dancing around his fingertips. Smirking playfully, he took his fingers and poked Zainketsu in the arm, simulating a static shock. "Am I doing it right?"
When he finished getting feedback from Zain, Tatsuo would then approach the elder Uchiha girl, rubbing his arm a bit shyly. "Um, hey nee-san... Do you think you could help me with my fire jutsu? I need tips on how to make my fireball bigger... and that dragon thing you did was super cool."

Zainketsu was a little dismayed after watching the elder Uchiha show off with her advanced jutsu. It was the first time that he could remember ever truly feeling less than adequate. He was young for a ninja, slightly older then Tatsuo, but a boy of ten years old none the less. He had always been the most talented when it came to potential in every room he had ever been in. This time he was not so sure that was the case! Here he was just your every day run of the mill kids. It was disheartening and incredibly motivating at the same time.
Man these Leaf ninja are something else! Each one of them is highly skilled in theory own way. I'm going to have to step it up or I am going to fall behind!
He liked how different everybody's training style was. The elder Uchiha was very non chalant and don't give a fuck about it, Nokino was like an energizer bunny that never slowed down, Tatsuo was overly excitable and eager, and Himari seemed to be a complete opposite ofnjust about all of them. The energy the white eyed shinobi gave off was very peaceful and relaxed. That type of inner tranquility must have taken much effort to achieve.
Enough playing around, time to get serious!
Zainketsu began ripping through the seals needed for his Raiton clones. He focused his Chakra into an erratic current of electricity and formed a perfect mirror version of himself. There was no visible lightning arcing around this time. For all intents and purposes it was perfect this time. The two versions of themselves chuckled at eachother with a hidden sense of pride before looking over to Tatsuo.
Yah it's all about finding the proper "feel" within the chakra. Once you got that down it's all about control and maintaining from there. Keep working at it and you will have it down in no time! I know you can do it
Zainketsu was impressed with how quickly Tatsuo got the clones down. He remembered trying to train for it himself. Zainketsu definitely did not get the hang of it that quickly. Between the youngest and oldest Uchiha Zainketsu definitely felt the pressure to continually improve. He refused to be the weakest member of his clan in any room he found himself in. Second best was just not something he could live with.
The small statured Uchiha practiced his lightning clones a couple times to make sure he had it down. He would practice exploding the electricity out of the clones right before he would make the next one. Now that he was confident that he had it down, it was time to practice something else. He took some of the scrolls Nokino provided and began to peruse through them while he talked to himself inside his own head.
Hmmm which one of these should I learn next. Let's go for something even harder. We need to start working on some type of signature ability

As she watched towards Himari, she began thinking, what might the Hyuuga have learned since their time apart, perhaps she's finally became able too use her Byakugan, wouldn't that be a treat, seeing her prosper was somewhat nice, even if she wasn't from her own clan, perhaps she simply cared for the Hyuuga clan more then her clans elders did, always bickering with the Hyuuga Clans elders about this and that. Stuck in the old ways perhaps, then again who was she too judge, her own prejudice towards implants means nothing in the greater world, even Konoha allows implants regularly, and provides nothing against them so long as they were approved by whoever, It sickened her frankly, but, that's just how life is, there's very little any of them could do about it, they weren't strong enough what so ever, merely pawns on a larger chess board. Funny how that works out, coming back too she could hear Himari speak, she was interested in learning Lightning Release as well, cute, it would seem that its the second most popular release these days with fire being the first, but then again, it is called the land of fire for a reason, and fires destructive power is nothing too scoff at, one could burn down a entire village in less then a hour with a powerful enough fire release, hell, even herself was likely capable of doing so provided no one came too stop her, but that isn't exactly something she'd find interesting. Eventually Himari would begin doing a technique, it was a interesting one, its routes definitely in Taijutsu, however it was far more complicated then that, Himari released air blasts from her palms, likely from the speed and the force of the strikes causing air friction, or some other science behind it that only the Hyuuga clan knew, then again perhaps she just didn't know enough about Taijutsu, it wasn't exactly her specialty after all.
Lost in thought her arms still crossed as her head angled upwards a bit, she simply couldn't help but ponder the abilities the Hyuuga have, so very similar too the Uchiha's but so very different as well it wasn't until she heard a soft voice that she would snap out of her inner thoughts, looking down her eyes almost sharp, she now faced one of the younger Uchiha, the one who only created a fire ball, not that such a thing was anything too scoff at, doing so wasn't nearly as easy as you'd expect, they appeared almost shy as they began too talk, rubbing their arm anxiously, it was actually somewhat cute too see, referring too her as a older sister he'd ask her if she could help him with his fire release, she thought about it for 2-3 seconds before simply smirking and nodding, why not, though this chill attitude would suddenly turn too what appeared to be minor shock as the instructor began yelling again, they had been quiet for a while so she forgot how loud they were when they yelled, they asked her name as well as asked if she'd be willing too train the kids, Xena sighed with a shrug, simply muttering her name in a almost tired voice. "Xena, it's Xena." Before placing her hands in her pockets.

Himari, on the other hand amidst the eager retinue, is eager to get started on learning the Lightning Release right from the get-go while everyone else works on their desired techniques and elements of choice. She recalls not too long ago about Zainketsu's advice about understanding the 'feeling' of its flamboyant nature. It's advice similar to what her mother instructed a while ago when she taught her how to properly control the flow of chakra from her reserves toward her tenketsu that surround her eyes. Although she had little to no faith in her ability at the time to harness the chakra she needed to activate her clan's doujutsu and expected it to at least cover a good portion of her life to overcome, she somehow managed to successfully understand, at least, one of the fundamentals of how to knead chakra appropriately.
"Let's see..."
A brief image from memory flashes in her mind, remembering the shape, sounds, and color of the Sparks from prior. She gesticulates with her hands to form a gesture that resembles both of them holding what would otherwise be a ball hovering between them. She watches the center of the space in-between and focuses, steadily conjuring her stamina, converting and kneading them into chakra from her reserves, and funneling them toward her palms as she attempts to mimic the nature of Lightning and subsequently transform it.
She releases a heavy breath as the feeling of static begins to buzz around her, and the space between her hands crackles with a bright, flashing yellow. Her face beams with a wide, excited smile. It's not a lot, but it's a start, for sure! However, a start is just that: a start. And she's still trying to figure out the proper balance and proportion of the conversion and kneading process. She closes her eyes and tries to recall the image of the Lightning again. It crackles, snaps, and pops, seemingly without a pattern or rhythm to it, and its color is brilliant, electric, and shining gold. She exhales a deep breath and goes through the same process, except this time, she's a little more aware of the sensation of the static. It's not a bad feeling, per se, but it's not a good feeling either. The closest word that comes to her mind to describe the sensation is prickly.
After a few minutes, the area between her palms is filled with the same, bright, flashing yellow. It's a little brighter and stronger, but the sensation is still the same. Perhaps the chakra reserves she funnels into the technique are too conservative, and thus, refuse to evolve to a higher degree because of the uncomfortable pins and needles she feels course through her body. Knowing this, she takes a quick breath in before she exhales, discarding her comfort zone in place of her non-comfort zone to channel more of her chakra into the technique. This time, the sparks begin to grow, and the sensation becomes a little more intense. But the more she tries to focus on the feeling, the more she's becoming distracted by the sensation, and the harder it is to maintain the technique as the intensity of the technique grows until her hands shake and feel numb. Before she can go any further, she lowers her hands and sighs—until an idea forms in her mind right after.
"Hey! You know, if we're gonna be practicing on learning from each other and all that, I think we should try doing it at the Advanced Training Facility over in the village! I think the environment and setting over there could help with our training a little easier. Plus, it's designed with what we intend to do anyway." She turns her head to face Nokino, eyes beaming and face gleaming. "Ya'know what I mean, Nokino-Onee-san? Eh, not that I'm saying I don't like training here or anything, it's just a suggestion, really. We don't have to go if you don't think it'd be a good idea, too!"
