A Trip to the Bath House [P]

Kana was pleased with herself for learning this jutsu, it was definitely one of the more useful tricks in her arsenal even if it had proven to be a pain in the ass to learn for herself, she had been practicing and learning to mold her chakra properly and maintaining it for quite a few days on end now, to see her effort pay off and have it become a surprisingly useful jutsu in her first mission was Gunshin, she was glad to be able to show off and help her friend with the mission, she had been so pleased with herself and listening to Gunshin's awe and praise that for a moment she had nearly allowed herself to forget the fact that Gunshin was currently only wearing a towel to cover herself and there were several other people that were nude just nearby, her attention only snapping back to the mission after she heard a bang from one of the washrooms. "We better get going, no idea how long I can keep us both invisible." Kana spoke in a hushed tone, allowing the two copies of themselves to wander ahead and act natural, whatever the fuck that was supposed to be.

The duo slowly and quietly made their way from the entrance to the bathing areas and instead made their way down the eastern wall until they found a place to investigate, the maintenance room probably was a pretty good place to start, there was plenty of places to hide a paper bomb within and she doubted the owner would even think about maintaining the area unless something went wrong in the place, which even if such a thing happened, she doubted the maintenance worker would go out of his way to look around the empty room. Gunshin opened the door slowly and carefully, Kana keeping an eye out until the meek girl had made it in, Kana following after her and she looked around the room with curiosity, she wasn't entirely sure what she was expecting but a bunch of pipes and what she assumed to be water heaters were pretty obvious.

"Check around the pipes, we don't have to be as quiet but don't be so loud either. I can only hide our presence, not sounds. Yet." Kana spoke as she set about the far side of the room, looking up at the corners first before delving between the water boilers and pipes, some of which was far hotter than she expected as she accidentally let an arm brush up against one of the metal pipes and the sudden burn forced to quietly hiss as she quickly moved her arm closer to herself. "Be careful too. Pipes are hot. We probably don't have to worry about the bomb being on them. It's unlikely the paper bomb would last long there." Kana spoke loud enough for Gunshin to hear as she set resumed squeezing herself through some of the pipes to get a better look behind them and against the bare wall, it was a pain in the ass for her to get here but it only meant it would be a good place to hide it.

Sure enough, right behind the water heater was the the paper bomb, hidden away and unless the pipes right behind the water heater had somehow been damaged, it was unlikely to be found by anyone unless they were looking around for it like Kana and Gunshin had been. The fact that the bomb didn't explode on them either meant that the bomber didn't notice their intrusion either, so bringing out the small tag they had been provided, Kana placed it against the bomb seal and watched as it glowed and the ink on the paper bomb "drained" into the other seal. That was the best way Kana could describe what she saw, the ink that had made up the bomb just seemed to retract from the edges into the other seal, the defusal seal also changed but far less noticeable as she saw a circle form around the symbol in the middle before spirals shot out from the circle and Kana only assumed that was the seal locking away the bomb.

She really should learn more about fuinjutsu, this stuff looked pretty neat. "Got it and defused it. The sensory shinobi only reported one chakra signal in the building that matched that of a paper bomb so we should be all clear." Kana declared as she pulled the now worthless paper from the water heater, the defusal seal still stuck on top of it before waving it up for the meek girl to find. "Thank fuck we didn't actually have to look too long, I have seen enough people and that was only their bare shoulders." Kana would mutter to herself as she approached Gunshin, ready for the mission to be over and done with.

Gun couldn't fail to notice Kana's inclusion of the word yet in her statement. Even though this technique was by far one of the most useful techniques a shinobi could have, Kana had plans to make it better and that drive to always get better was why Gun appreciated her relationship with Kana. Gun nodded to Kana, moving to the other side of the room and looking around the pipes as best she could.

"Be careful too. Pipes are hot. We probably don't have to worry about the bomb being on them. It's unlikely the paper bomb would last long there."

"Ok." Gun said, her head currently behind one of the heaters so she couldn't see Kana's face, thus a nod wouldn't have been an efficient means of communication. It was weird to see a room with nothing but machinery and pipes everywhere, but Gun did the best should could to look high and low, behind the pipes, on the floor, and even on the ceilings. She was worried they'd be at it for quite awhile at this pace, but she kept her focus and continued looking. She was just about ready to give up when Kana came out from behind some of the pipes.

"Got it and defused it. The sensory shinobi only reported one chakra signal in the building that matched that of a paper bomb so we should be all clear." Gun was glad to hear that the job was done. "Thank fuck we didn't actually have to look too long, I have seen enough people and that was only their bare shoulders." Gun laughed a little at Kana, though the feeling was somewhat reciprocated. In truth though, Gun kind of enjoyed the freeing aspect of being naked. She wondered if that made her weird, but she didn't bother to dwell on it. She might even come back some day. The two kunoichis headed back out to their clones, dispelling both of them and the invisibility which kept them hidden. A few minutes later and both shinobi were fully dressed and back outside, in front of the bath house.

Gun wondered if she should keep up the pretense that they had just gone in to have a nice spa day or if she could congratulate Kana on a job well done. She waited until they were nearly at the mission center before saying "Well that wasn't so bad." They went in and turned in the defused paper bomb as evidence, maybe someone else would try to hunt down its creator or try to find out who planted it. None of that was Gun's concern, at least for now.
