Dream On (Event-Halloween)

Sephora had to change clothes, going out in her pajamas wasn't exactly a good idea to her. After throwing on a black shirt and a pair of black pants she threw on her shoes and brushed her teeth and hair! All done in seven minutes. That's definitely a proud moment for Sephora!
As she walked down the hall she passed by the home office Toneri and Ayato use, but it wasn't their voices she was hearing. It was a public service announcement being worked on by some of the village officials! There was a small box outside of the office holding a paper with Her and her Team Fuku Hoshi team mates names on it. It was a mission for them! Obviously, this day was going to be a busy one, but she knew they could handle it! This was her chance to prove her worth as a village ninja instead of a missing ninja.
However, after she read the mission details a weird and confused look crossed her face.
"For real? Why do I feel more like this is a mission for a babysitter?" She scoffed as she headed to the dining room to meet up with Dante and Talon.

Talon went to his room and threw on a different shirt, the one he had on was his sleep shirt. Can't wear that on a mission now can we? Besides it showed his ragdoll arms, or at least that's what he called them. He still felt like he looked more like a Frankenstein, pieced together with different skins!
He threw on a long sleeved black shirt and then headed to the dining room where he saw Sephora.
Looking at the paper she held in her hands he realized they were sent on a mission concerning what just happened.
"May I?" Talon asked before he took the paper from her hands to look over it. "Hmmm. So basically kick a brat out of his toy fort without hurting him? Sounds easy enough." Talon said as he tried to come up with non violent ideas for removing people from places. In said case…a child! Now Talon wasn't violent like most Tau, he and Kurai were probably the more non violent Taus which weren't very common! That's not to say that violent thoughts don't come to Talon now and then, he has had to stop himself from killing once or twice in his lifetime!
"I take it we are just waiting on Dante?" He asked as he tried to come up with an idea to help the situation.

Dante changed his clothes quickly, putting on a black shirt and black pants and of course black shoes. He started walking down the hall and overheard the conversation in Ayato's office to make the Public Service Announcement. He also overheard that it wasn't just in Hoshigakure, this event was going on in other villages too! Great, now he was concerned about the rest of the team that were in other villages!
Sighing Dante went to the Dining room, at this point, 3 plates were on the table, obviously for them. Dante saw Talon take the paper out of Sephy's hand.
"Yeah, I am here now. I overheard the news that this whole event is also in other villages now, which means the other half of our team may be dealing with the supernatural entities wherever they are." As soon as Talon was done reading Dante took the assignment to read it.
"Babysitting by Ninjas? Looks as though we are getting paid for it, and it will make us look good to the authorities, Let's do it!" Dante said, taking his toast off the plate and eating it as he headed out the front door.
" You guys coming or what?" Dante asked, looking behind him at his team.

"Yeah here." Sephora said as she handed over the paperwork to Talon. Before she could say anything to Talon Dante walked in and looked at the paperwork saying basically the same thing, babysitting!
"I wouldn't call it babysitting, think about it, a kid in a fort he pulled out of a dream…we are doing damage control! As Team Fuku we need to show we are capable of handling situations, it's been so long since we have done things like this anyway so we need to sharpen our skills, we may be a little rusty." Sephora said as the team followed Dante out the door. They had only been walking a minute when they spotted the fort!
It was a lot bigger in person than she assumed it would be! You couldn't get inside it but you could climb up to the top of it via a ladder. She made pillow forts as a kid with Akki, Megami and Tori, but nothing like this! If he dreamed this up, being in the forces when he was older was definitely a calling he should heed to!
As she spotted the stairs she decided to take that approach to getting to the kid. As she began to attempt to run up the stairs, her feet were stuck to the stairs! "What the-" Sephora suddenly noticed the stairs were black because they were covered in tar! Oh shit! This kid is way too smart for his own good. Who would have thought about using tar to prevent intruders from coming up the stairs?
"A little help guys?" Sephora said as she looked over at Dante and Talon. "This kid has tar on the steps and I'm stuck!" Sephora said looking up at the kid. This time she activated her byakugan, checking the area out. She decided to leave it on for the time being in case more traps were set if other kids were out here with him. This may be a little more difficult than she thought it would be, simply because they just got here and she already fell into a trap! The parents were begging them to be careful with their "baby" because "he's such a brilliant boy and has such a bright future". Sephora sighed. The old Sephora would have blast through the kid with lightning jutsu and bone bullets, but she's a changed person now. She would have to come up with something else unless Dante or Talon have an idea?

Talon handed the assignment to Dante as he requested. Talon snickered at Dante's comment, as he ate 2 pieces of bacon from his breakfast plate. Dante had quite a sarcastic tone on him as well, much like his cousin Toneri! Sephora however was trying to look at the mission in a different light. Probably part of her attempt at changing, which seemed to be going well from what Talon observed.
As Dante asked if they were coming, Talon decided to take his coffee with them. Maybe he was addicted, but at least it was a good addiction.
And as they arrive at the fort, before assessing the situation, the female hybrid attempts to run up the stairs!
"Wait Seph- too late…" Talon said as the kid called Sephora stupid. However she was talking and didn't hear him. Talon took a sip of his coffee as he began to think. And he had an idea! Being a Tau he had a small advantage. The fort was not very high, maybe ten feet. Remaining cool, calm and collected, Talon released 10 threads from his left arm since his right arm was holding his coffee cup. They shot out heading straight for the kid at the top of the fort! The kid was so busy taunting Sephora that he didn't notice Talons threads. Without causing any harm, the threads wrapped around the kid picked him up and brought him down in front of the parents before returning to Talon's arm! Talon heard the parents rejoicing that their son was unharmed, as the kid cried because he was taken from his fort! Talon sat his coffee cup on a large boulder next to him as he looked at the arm he used and rubbed it making sure everything was stitched back up. He then picked up his coffee cup as he looked over at his team mates to see if they needed help getting Sephora off the stairs. Suddenly the fort vanished like the other dream like the ghosts from earlier!

Dante saw the fort as Sephora ran for the stairs!Why is it she never stops and thinks? Suddenly she was stuck in the stairs! Quite typical of Sephora to end up in a situation!
"Sephora…seriously you need to start thinking before you do anything!" Dante muttered as he went to help his sister off the stairs. He was looking around and noticed that Talon was watching the kid very closely, this meant he was up to something. Trying to help his sister and also Talon, he decided to keep the kid focused on them!
"Wow kid, look what you did! Tar, that's brilliant, keeps your fort safe doesn't it?" Dante said as he motioned for Sephora to take her shoes off so he could pick her up and lift her off the stairs. The kid started mouthing off at how stupid Sephy was and how he was smarter than them. " Yes…I can see that!" He said as he noticed the threads wrapping around the kid.
"Looks like maybe you need to be a little smarter, you just got caught kid!" He said lifting Sephy off the steps as Talon used his threads to bring the kid down to his parents.
"All in a days work for team Fuku!" Dante chuckled as he put Sephora down.

This had been fairly easy for Talon and good use of his threads. Maybe they weren't as much of a curse as he felt they were. Maybe he wasn't such a monster! Talon had removed the kid with very little effort and had not harmed him. Maybe hurt his pride a little, but no damage was dealt physically to the child! Talon did this while still sipping his morning coffee. Poor Seph however she ended up with tar on her boots and ended up falling over an old bird's nest and now her shoes were covered in feathers!
Now, Talon was a quiet person, but he wasn't a complete asshole. He could be if he wanted. But, he wasn't. Sighing and rolling his eyes he walked up behind Sephy and picked her up unless she decided she didn't want to be carried. 
"This way, you can't pick anything else up with the tar on your boots!" He said as he carried her to the house and sat her down. Talon can be a gentleman. He decided it was time to get some breakfast and of course, more coffee! Maybe he had become addicted to coffee, better than being addicted to other things.
