The morning was peaceful yet again. Her little nap sack is supported by the massive tree branch that she found. It was always for the best to sleep in places that people would not normally find you. She always had at least some kind of weapon on her. Pocketing the small Kunai she held close to her body. Focused on primarily dealing with this day's events, she was an unknown factor, a missing ninja, even though no one had known of her existence. She’d have to make a mark sooner rather than later. She’d quickly begin to get ready for the day, quickly dressing into her armor like a Kimono and sword strapped to her waist. She set off for the local village, her funds weren’t that low that she couldn’t grab something to eat, something to keep on living with. Her bright red hair was tangled into a messy uneven bun. Hands stayed neatly by her sides, ready to grasp her weaponry whenever there was a fight to happen. The small outline of the rather remote town certainly surprised her, there was no way that this town would have what she’d need, or a way to get money without stealing. The cool winds of Autumn pressing at her skin. She always hated when it got colder, it meant she had to use Chakra in order to not freeze to death. Yet she still persisted to heading into the small little town, hopeful that there was a mission.
Arriving into the clear entrance of the town, she was met with a few raised eyebrows from her appearance. She looked like a threat, someone who was scary to even look at or see as a result of her own weaponry on her. She could tell that people were staring, her eyes darted towards the nearest passerby, their expression changed to fear in almost an instant when she shot a small glare their way. Of course the people would be scared of her, the small whispers of the sudden visitor would make a few others turn their heads to face her direction. Yet the smell of something salty hit her nose, it smelled nice, almost familiar to her. It was Ramen, of all the places that would have a Ramen stand, this little town in the middle of nowhere would be the right place for it. Her head tilted to the left, correctly guessing the location of the Ramen shop, a blue sign and banner exclaimed that the prices would be a bit lower than usual due to the supposed deals that this place was having. Yet being in a bit of a price crunch, a small, local place like this was right up her own alley. Arriving inside of the store with a small, warm smile. She could see that a few people were surprised to see the Hot head here. Bright sunshine smirk showed itself as she entered, allowing her warmth to encapsulate the entire room. It made one elderly woman stand up when Sukiba was just about to order her Ramen at the counter. Her small, frail voice graced Sukiba’s eardrums.
“Excuse me Miss. . . Are you busy by any chance. . .” The old woman said, her frail, almost fragile form only being held up by a lone walking stick that was right before her feet. It made the lone Missing ninja wonder how she was even able to survive for so long as a result of how old she looked. Her skin ragged, almost like you could see the flaps moving before her voice croaked out. It made Sukiba have to listen, especially as the women seemed to almost be giving a tone of pleading to her.
“Not entirely, just getting some ramen? Can I help you with anything?” She asked, focusing on the small women and completely forgetting about ordering her ramen in the first place. Crouching down slightly to make sure she could hear what the old woman had to say. With her old voice croaking out even further to explain her situation.
“My Granddaughter is about to be married. . . And I have the Dowry right here for her, it’s a prized jewel within our family. . . Could you please help me get to the wedding? I've tried asking everyone here, but they don’t think they could make it in time. . .”
Sukiba’s eyebrows raised for a moment, knowing that there had been a massacre of a wedding beforehand inside of a town recently, news travels fast when the dead are able to be accounted for. She’d make sure that there would be no other options, she’d have to help this old lady, even if she knew she wouldn’t get much sleep tonight. Her bright smile only widened further, giving a hearty nod and accepting the proposal of the Old Lady, crouching down even lower for her to fully get on her back. Thus she’d be able to carry the old lady, while also being able to deliver the Dowry to the Married couple as well. She knew she could take on most that were around her level of power. Which is why she’d smirk, ready to head out on this new adventure with the much older woman. Her bright smile stayed even as she exited out of the Ramen shop after grabbing a bowl of Ramen. Walking back towards the exit with the Grandma right on her back. Sukiba slurping down the noodles before making her way out of the small town entirely, heading across the small gates as she offered a small bun towards the old women, watching as she nibbled on the soft surface as Sukiba walked with her.
“So what’s your granddaughter like?” Sukiba asked, a small warm smile on her face, the Grandma’s own toothy grin made the Red head chuckle. Curious as to what she’d have to say.
“She’s very shy, maybe that's why she’s even getting married in the first place. Yet she has a good head on her shoulders, along with being a good judge of character.” She responded with a small quaint smile. Right as Sukiba and Her would begin to arrive towards the settlement, a few balloons ahd already been unveiled from what she could see. Curiosity was going to kill her at this rate when she quickly sped off to drop the Grandma off at the wedding with the dowry with her. Waving goodbye as she found something was in her pocket. . . it was a massive amount of Ryo for herself. Her same sunshine smile plastered on her face while she walked away from the wedding. Hopeful that there wouldn’t be an attack on this wedding as well.
