Meeting the Moon
Thu Mar 28, 2024 12:21 am
Immediately leaving the gates and entering the bustling new village, Kakushin walked directly to a small inn. As he walked inside, he only asked for a small room for an hour, not to sleep it, but only to have a change of clothes, and to freshen up. After all, the trip wasnt a complicated or long endeavor, but his lifestyle before, in the depths of the land of Key was on the side of rough living, always on the road, in the forrests and all.
But before changing, Kakushin would order at the inn some food, being famished. After all, he didnt eat a single thing since he traveled to the land of the moon! Being a humble man, and not wanting to fill himself up, in case the Kage of the Moon would invite him to feast with them, he only ate a small portion of edamame beans, dipped into dark rich soy sauce, coated with the finest lemon infused salt, a delicacy in the far east regions of the world. After his small snack, barelly enough to sustain him, he would quietly walk toward the changing room, and undress, looking at his figure into a mirror, smiling and eager to meet the famed lord of the island.
''You haven't aged a single bit... And to think its been decades since the escape of the laborathory. Maybe even centuries... Ah well! Who knows... Certainly not those refugees. Lies. All of it! To take me for a fool, saying they escaped from the place I ravaged so long ago... Certainly they stemmed from it, but some new scientist must have had access to some forgotten knowledge. No matter. Now it is all burried into apocrypha....And the world is better for it. Now. To meet the kage...''
would think Kakushin to himself, looking at the mirror and admiring his naked body in all its tall, muscular and lean splendor. As he got ready and dressed himself, Kakushin replaced his usual modest and decrepit kimono robes of a dark black with his most fancy clothing, a garment of the finest silk he possesed. Indeed, the artificial Senju wore a baggy dark blue pants made of silk, shining under the light and reflecting its extravagant cloth to the world. To adorn it all, he wore traditionnal shoes, namelly wooden Geta, with white socks covering his feets. Around his waist was a large beige rope, tied in a noose and bow into his back, used both as ornemental accessories and as a belt, tying his clothing tightly fitting to his body and shape. For his shirt, he wore a sleeveless Kimono made also of the finest silk, but this time a more light shade of blue. On the Kimono was embroidery of pearly white, representation and drawings of waves, mists and the ocean. It danced across the cloth, traversing the shades of pale blue, and darker blue representing the waters of the scene embeded into the clothing itself, a veritable noble pattern. It was his most beautifull article of clothing. Along this outfit, the tall man carried an umbrella, with a floral pattern and numerous strips of paper with seals on them, to again ward off spirits.
As usual, Kakushin had them on his very own skin too, along his bandages around his arms, wrists and neck, hidding his scars and keeping to his usual style and appearance. To complete his look, he would draw his dark deep red eyeliner around his green eyes, making them trully stand out.
The walk toward the Kage tower was one quite simple, as the village was packed but not too large and hard to traverse. As he arrived in the paradisiac place, with the sound of waterfalls and bird chirping away in beds of flowery decor, along blossoming trees, the Senju felt at peace, and eager to meet the lord of this place. As he climbed the stairs, Kakushin would simply go up to the door, and knock on it gently, hopping to be heard still, a test of sorts, if the host was attentive to his arrival. He was after all, the leader of a large familly of Missing-Nin, and to the Kage, this could be a significant meeting, as well for Kakushin himself.

Junko had been getting into a bit of a routine as of late as she settled into her new position. She was happy that she had gotten a small home above her office on the top floor of the Kage Tower so she wouldn’t have to leave if not necessary. Though her heart aced to roam around the streets and explore the village she had built, she knew that there was still a lot of business to attend to. If she wanted to maintain the flow of things, she felt as if she needed to focus her time fully on the village.
This however made her a bit reclusive since she seemingly had no need to leave the tower. Her secretary would go grocery shopping for her, but everything else she needed to survive was right there. Thankfully people had been coming to visit her occasionally, though it was mostly because they needed something from her. She knew that ultimately this was her life now, but hoped things would slow down soon. Maybe she could hire somebody? Though most of the stuff coming in was rather important since the village was rather new. For the time being, she’d have to just handle it so she decided to revisit the topic at a later date.
Before the sun would rise, Junko would climb out of bed and make her way into the bathroom. After taking a nice cold shower, she’d wrap herself in a silky black robe then make some tea and breakfast. Like normal, after she had finished eating the sun would begin to peak over the horizon. Quickly she’d make her way out to the balcony that surrounded her office to watch the sunrise. After finishing her tea and taking a minute to soak in the warmth of the morning sun, Junko would turn her attention to her attire.
Making her way to her closet, Junko would look around for something more comfortable. Due to her new status, she had recently purchased a rather extensive collection of clothes. She’d sift them for a few moments before pulling out a few different options. After trying a few different pieces on, she’d finally decided on an outfit for the day. She’d slip on a tight black body suit that hugged her body gently and stooped about halfway down her thigh. Junko would then pull on a black pleated skirt that sat comfortably around her waist and stopped around the same area as the body suit. Thinking just the body suit was a bit too revealing on the top, Junko would pull an exquisitely made, red kimono that had roses embroidered onto the long sleeves with black thread. Lastly, she’d finish up by adorning herself with various black and silver jewelry
She’d look over her schedule for a few moments and see that her first task was to have a meeting with Ren. They needed to discuss numerous things, but it still internally killed her to be around him. She held no resentment toward the man, but she still hadn’t gotten past what she had done to him. However, Junko knew he was the best fit for the position and felt like she needed to just move past whatever connection she once had with him. She was thankful that Kiko seemingly had taken a liking to him almost immediately, though who wouldn’t?
Once settled into her office chair, Junko would activate the telepathic seal and remind Ren that he was requested at her office at his earliest convenience. She then would turn her attention to the various piles of paperwork placed neatly around the desk. Some time passed before she heard a knock at the door, assuming it was Ren she’d call out to enter. Thankfully it was him and as he entered Junko would stand then offer him a bow before greeting him with a sweet smile. She’d participate in small talk with him if he wished, but if not she’d simply begin going over the thing they needed to discuss.
As they spoke Junko would hold a pleasant smile, though it seemed like her neutral expression. She’d be very amicable to any of his requests and tried to see things from his point of view if they disagreed with something. However, as they were discussing plans for the festivals they wished to host, her attention would snap to the door as they heard a knocking sound. Immediately she’d activate her Ketsuryugan and look at the figure through the wall. The chakra signature was unfamiliar, and she didn’t recognize the outline of the person.
For a second she wondered who it could possibly be, was it one of the visitors Sakoshi had informed her about? She’d share a glance with Ren, shrug slightly, and nod her head towards the door indicating that she wished for him to open it. She’d call out to the person on the other side, telling them she’d be there in a moment. Junko would keep her dojutsu activated until the stranger came within line of sight, before he could see her she’d quickly turn it off.
If Ren decided to accept her request, Junko would sit back slightly in her chair, cross her right leg over her left, and then fold her hands gently in her lap. She’d watch as he opened the door and greeted the person standing on the other side. If Ren denied, Junko would simply call them into the office.

Re: Meeting the Moon

There had been quite the influx of individuals flooding into Moon ever since they had become a full-fledged village. It was quite the sight to behold as things continued to grow and grow, nearly out of control, but with both Junko and Ren together, they made a hell of a team. Today there was supposed to be multiple visitors for the leader of the village, Junko, one of which Sakoshi had warned them about from the gates, a man named Kakushin. This wasn't someone that he was truly concerned about, but it was still someone to be weary of whenever it came to being alone with the kage, which is someone you could never be too careful with.
What came next was a briefing between himself and Junko about this individual once Sakoshi had given Ren the information. But when the briefing was over, there came a knock on the door. After a few moments, Junko would motion for him to open the door, to which he would nod his head and walk towards the door. He wasn't sure just what to expect on the other side of the door, but he was sure that with both the leader and the deputy, they would handle whatever it could have been.
Upon opening the door, he saw a man standing there, he was fairly tall, but slightly shorter than Ren himself. He had asked Sakoshi if there was anything that he needed to be concerned about in regards to this individual's power, to which Sakoshi would confirm that there wasn't. Ren's shoulders released some tension as he greeted the man on the other side of the door. "Good day to you, Kakushin. It is an absolute pleasure and delight to be making your acquaintance. Do follow me so we can all speak at the leader's desk." His words would be cheery as they cascaded between the missing ninja's ears. Ren knew what the man was, but he still didn't hold it against him, instead he would gladly listen to whatever the man had to say with an open mind, until the missing ninja would close it for him.

After waiting for a long moment, the heavy ornate double door leading into the Tower of the Kage opened, with a man taller than Kakushin himself oppening it and greeting him. The man was dressed in a light and positive way, radiating good intent and artistry in its purest form, a beacon of hope and good. This immediately put a smile to the face of Kakushin, seeing how there was not only dark and graven people in this world, a sign of hope.
''It is my pleasure to be received here, with so much honors too, as I am but the a lowly roving vagrant, a wanderer and traveler, who happen to lead a family of other lost individuals, who are in need of guidance and safety, but most of all, in need of love.'' would answer Kakushin, bowing low to show his respect and humbleness.
''Lead the way good sir. As I am sure you will proceed to do so, I wanted to come forth and announce too that I am unarmed. The only object I cary is this umbrella, which you can inspect in great detail too of course.'' added the Senju man, wanting to ease up the potential tention and to really show that he meant no harm whatsoever.
As he followed him deeper into the tower, Kakushin mind was focused on the meeting, wanting to do a good impression, for his own sake, but mainly the sake of his family, which were in dire need of safety and hospitality. This man leading him was still making Kakushin curious however. He didnt strike the fabricated man as a guard nor a warrior, so why was he the one oppenning the door, leading to the Kage themselves? The appearances of course could be misleading, which would be an upper edge for this man in battle, but he striked Kaku more as a polititian and a man of the state than a man of the path of the warrior. As much as he was intrigued, Kakushin was interested too. This meant that he was an individual steeped in nuances, in close mastery of one's mind and social aspect, likely a key element to the inner workings of the village hidden under the moon itself. Likely a master, or the Deputy, the right hand of the Kage. To the sensory abilities of Kakushin, the colored and upjoyed man was radiating chakra and lively energy, a testimony of his strength and mastery of his inner chakra, but also of his personna, likely one of his strength in life.

Junko would offer the man a quick wave and motion towards the chairs in front of her desk for him to sit. She’d look him in the eyes with a warm and inviting smile across her face. From what she had been informed about the individual, he had a rather difficult past. However, that was seemingly the case with most people these days. Junko attempted to keep an open mind while interacting with him since if he said was true, he only sought shelter. Though she could easily provide this to him, she needed to ensure the safety of the village first and foremost so this screening was necessary. Once he settled in, Junko would speak up in her normal melodic and alluring voice.
”Kakushin, I’m so happy you were able to join us. I do hope your travels here weren’t too taxing on you. I’m sure you want nothing more than to relax for a while, so I’ll try to keep this meeting short for you. Firstly, would you mind answering some questions?”
Junko would place her elbows on the desk and lean forward on them slightly as she waited for his response. The air around her was buzzing with energy as her excitement grew and she became interested in the man. If he agreed, Junko would clap her hands slightly and begin speaking sweetly once more.
”Why don’t you tell us in your own words what you were doing before you made your way to my small slice of heaven? I’d like to get to know more about you Kakushin, I think we could potentially work very well together”
She’d offer him a cute smile and would gaze at him softly with her siren eyes as she awaited hie response.

Ren settle in quite well with the newcomer within the office. During their conversation, he realized he wasn't exactly needed in it yet. So he would instead lean back in the chair beside Kakushin and start thinking about his darling Kiko instead. Ren had become quite adept at having two conversations at once when he began using these telepathy seals to communicate with others. So he decided that he was going to do just that during this conversation with the Kage office. He began sending telepathic messages to Kiko. At first, they were sweet, but they gradually became more sexually charged as they continued their conversation.
It was a mental exercise that Ren was becoming quite the balancing act when it came to his talks with Kiko in his mind or with others, but mainly with Kiko and the conversations that he had to have with others with his actual voice. He listened as Junko would ask her questions to Kakushin. He knew that Sakoshi would have asked similar questions at the gate, so he was unsure how the visitor would react to being asked the same questions again. But then again, that was the problem with being a criminal in a village.
Sakoshi had given them the entire layout of Kakushin's history before coming to the Moon. He wasn't an extensive criminal; large villages didn't want him, and he most likely would cause an issue with their alliances. But still, there was something to be said about housing criminals, no matter how small within their walls. This could set a bad precedent for the other villages. But then again, Ren knew that other villages housed far larger criminals than the ones that they were housing, so maybe it wasn't going to be as much of an issue as Ren believed it would when he first had thought of the criminals entering the village in the first place.
He would wait for the words to come from Kakushin in response to Junko's question. Ren would continue to peer into the face of the man that sat beside him, while continuing his mental conversation with Kiko. He was curious what they would both say to the questions that were thrown their way, both for very different reasons.

As Junko finished speaking, a light knock could be heard coming once again from the door along with her bodyguard announcing her presence. Junko would call out for her to enter, and once she walked in the young woman would offer her a quick bow. Nariko would then inform Junko that one of the tribal elders wished to speak with her and that it was rather important. A sigh escaped Junko's lips and she’d shake her head slightly. Her eyes would move to meet with Kakushin and she offered him an apologetic look as she spoke.
”I apologize but I fear we must cut this meeting short. You have my permission to roam around the village as you please, however, if you or any of your other group members you’ll be promptly removed. I appreciate you coming to see me, and if there’s anything you need, I implore you to come visit.”
She then would stand, and move her eyes to Nariko.
”Nariko, please see that Kakushin finds his way out of the tower unimpeded and bring in the elder once you’ve finished.”
Junko would offer him a slight bow, before then motioning for the two of them to leave the room. Once he left their presence, Junko and Ren were left alone once more. She’d sit and turn her attention to him before speaking up a bit exasperated.
”You can stay or go if you wish, I know both of us have a rather busy schedule and I wouldn’t want to keep you form anything important. I’m sure this will be a rather simple affair, but I’d allow you to stay if you’re interested”
She couldn’t help but wonder about how different their interactions would be if she hadn’t altered his memory. Where the two of them would be, and if they would be as happy as he wished. From what she knew, Kiko and him were getting along quite well, so it made her feel a bit better about the odd situation she found herself in. Admittedly, she did feel a bit lonely without his comforting energy and often wished to be the center of his attention once more.
If he decided to leave, she’d offered him a sweet wave and say her goodbyes. However, if he decided to stay, the two of them would continue speaking as they awaited the arrival of the Elder.
