“Quinn ‘The Forgemaster’ Foster”:

It had been roughly 6 months since Kaito had left village on a discreet mission of his own. Without word or message, the village had been without proper leadership for half a year now. Satoshi had vanished relatively quickly after the founding of the village and now Kaito also had made a disappearance. Quinn stood in the Otokage office, contemplating heavily about the decision in the direction of the village needed to go. This was their homeland before the village was founded, and this will be their homeland after their or its demise. There are many people they are fond of here and they want to make sure to do the best with what they had available to them. Thus the decision was a simple and easy one, they must take up the mantle now. Quinn Foster, who started out learning the ways of the Shinobi the age of 29 had risen through the ranks within Otogakure, and stood at the precipice at the age of 30. They were about to put their name in the annals of history not just as the Forgemaster, but now as the second in a short line. Quinn Foster was to be the Otokage.

They had yet to put in any paperwork for getting a new attire to be fit their new title should no one oppose, but the Forgemaster knew they needed to act quickly to bring forth the harmonious village, they knew and loved. Quinn had put forth the notice to the village that they were going to rise up to the occasion, was just a matter of if others would oppose or support the Land of Sky native, and taking over the reins of the village funded and founded by foreigners. They knew of many, who came from different lands and many who came from the land itself. Being native to the land prior to the village founding, gave Quinn confidence that their decision to stand up and rise to the challenge would be accepted by many and more than OK with others. They had their trustee weapon beside them ready for if a challenge would be issued. Quinn stood in front of the desk ready for anyone who may enter the doors and issue a challenge to the proclamation. They also stood ready with an open hand for those who were going to support them. ”May I do what’s needed.”

With the paperwork done and the signatures signed, Quinn Foster rose from the front of the desk with administrative aids moving the paperwork about the office. Tomorrow would be a huge day in Otogakure, as they would announce the Second Otokage. The Land of Sky Native looked from the office as other staff sorted through what personal belongings remained of Kaito. Quiet and still, Quinn remained with their eyes closed momentarily before turning to walk out. “For the Village. For my friends. For the future.” The declared as they picked up one of the spare Otokage hats and placing it on their head as they departed from the office, it was time to see what the Mansion had hidden away.
