Oda Terumi

Oda’s first and most notable feature is his hair, it flows in various directions, often covering his second most notable feature. His eyes are a fiery and vibrant red speckled with gold and yellow, in the shifting sunlight they can often give off the appearance as if they are flickering. He  has slender facial features,and an average build for his height. A Tattoo of the Terumi clan adorns his inner right forearm, and a scar runs along his neck and up behind his ear.He has a sash that he lets loosely hang from his hips, it is a mixture of yellow and red and shines brightly in the sun. Oda prefers to dress in ninja attire and is rarely ever wearing civilian clothes.  

Oda is a loud, boisterous and energetic young man. He is optimistic to a fault and prefers to lead by example. He values determination and helping those in need above all else. He is often congratulating his teammates on their successful jutsus and has even been known to compliment his opponents with sincere admiration- mid fight. He has a confident air to him like everything is going to work out, for everything. He has a stubborn streak in him, and refuses to allow bullying or punching down of any kind, often standing up for anyone in need. Oda has a temper that can flare up at times, and he has been known to fly off the handle at perceived wrongs or anything unjust. Overall Oda is a kind person, willing to see the best in people and willing to work with even his most ardent rivals.

Oda doesn’t remember much from his early childhood, he and his family were happy for the first 8 years of his life and he grew up as a fairly normal son of a merchant family. Sometime when Oda was 9 life began to change for him and his family. It was a series of cataclysms and disasters. Followed by being a refugee from his home village of Kirigakure.

Oda’s life was not easy as a newcomer to the Land of Moon. His parents and him fled from Kirigakure during its destruction, and his parents were hard working but distant. Oda grew up always moving, as his family were merchants, so he didn’t get a chance to ever establish long lasting friendships. He did however develop a sharp wit in helping his father and mother sell their wares. He clashed often with his parents about his desire to become a ninja, and was eventually kicked out for deciding to pursue it. To his parents, it was the fault of the ninja that they had to run from their home. Oda couldn’t blame them for that, but he felt it was his duty to bring the Terumi name back to glory..

Oda had waited long enough and already felt like he was behind, so he packed up his small belongings and left to Tsukigakure to enroll in the academy. From there Oda spent his time training at the academy obsessively, anything to take his mind off of things and speed up his progression. He made D-rank at blazing speed, developing a reputation for always running around the village and helping with every mission he could. He always did it with a smile, and he loved the thrill of helping the citizens of his village with even the most mundane tasks.
