Watch the Throne - Page 2 Empty Re: Watch the Throne

Gaignun looked at her easily deflect the incoming spear, as he caused it to disperse, and he looked at her. "Your relentless, but you have to, you are aHyuuga. You mean to tell me you have no attacks to use from long range? I got a move for you." Gaignun said as he just sat and waited for her to come at him.

Gaignun got back into his stance, jumping all around waiting for her to come closer,as he smirked, when she got closer, he braced for a guard, as she quickly spun. He used pure reaction, and tried to put his shoulder up to guard the move.

He was knocked to the side by the blow and quickly turned to face her. Gaignun quickly grunted and put his hand out and made a bat of pure chakra. Gaignun smiled as he ran forward and began to swing the bat several times in the female's way. "Hey, the name is Gaignun what is yours?"

Watch the Throne - Page 2 Empty Re: Watch the Throne

It...it hit? Seriously? Yay! Hikari thought, mentally cheering. She was just that optimistic sometimes. It was odd, how she acted and her past. Most people would be all depressed, lonely, and blood thirsty if they had been her, and yet, she is all cheerful, happy, and optimistic (but sometimes she does get all anti social and stuff). Hikari jumped and tried to dodge the bat, which was made fully of pure chakra. Holy sh*t. Now that's is cool! She continued to duck, jump, and hat ever else she could do to avoid the bat. Then an idea came to her mind.

Hikari ducked and did a hand stand and jumped back, landing on her feet. She waited for Gaignun to swing the bat again before she raised her leg up and kicked, using the ample amount of strength she had. Her kick collided with the bat. That...kinda hurt.... She thought, wincing slightly. It wasn't too bad, the collision I mean, but it did hurt a little since she had never kicked something made fully of chakra before. Legs and feet do have to get used to things before they get strong, no different than humans themselves. "Nice to meet you Gaignun. I'm Hikari." She said, grinning up at him, he was a few inches or so taller than her.

"Hello Hikari, your pretty impressive. You are a Hyuuga though so that explains it. Well Hikari, I apologize, but I can't hold back , but I won't be too fatal." Gaignun said, as he pulled his bat back up, and smiled. Gaignun jumped back wards, and twirled the bat. Gaignun wrapped his hand around the bat, as he pointed it at her.

Gaignun then ran forward, but instead of waiting for an up close attack, he threw the bat toward the top of her legs. Gaignun would then, instantly whether the bat landed or not go in and attempt a chain of two punches to her stomach and then a kick upward to her chin.

Hikari nodded, a slightly smirking creeping onto her face. So he was holding back eh? Figures. I wonder what his full power is..... She thought, watching as he jumped back and pointed his bat at her. Here we go again. Gotta make sure that that bat doesn't hit me...especially in the head. That would be bad.... Hikari got into a defensive position, her hands a little bit in front of her, and waited. She was making sure to not wait to long though, of course. Because then she could be too late.

Hikari side-stepped to the right to dodge the bat and could barely blink before she noticed Gaignun was coming in for a few punches. She caught one of the fists in her hand but was punched by the second one. She winched slightly from the punch and barely saw the kick coming. She spun on her heels and got grazed on the arm by the kick. Eep. That was close.... She thought, turning back around to face him and took a step forward. She then bent down and tried to sweep him off his feet. Even if that didn't work, she was then going to jump up and aim two kicks at him, one right after the other. They were aimed at his torso/chest area.

Gaignun smiled when his punched landed and he clicked his tounged to the top of his gums. He groaned after his kicked didn't make his mark. Gaignun wasnt ready when she easily sweeped him. He put his guard up by hiding his face and torso under his arms. Gaignun then attempted to sweep kick her legs and spin. If succeusful he would then make a sword of chakra and pointed it close to her neck

Hikari saw Gaignun move but wasn't entirely expecting him to sweep her, right after she had just sweeped him. Hikari brought her arms up toward her face as she tried to spin in the air. She was trying to create a flip with the small force she had from being sweeped. Hikari turned and barely missed getting her neck broken(from landing on her neck). She watched as he then made a sword of chakra. Now that is cool! She thought, intrigued by the sword. Hikari ducked down and rolled away as Gaignun tried to point the sword at her neck.

Hikari rocked back and then jumped up, landing on her feet. She focused some of her chakra into her hands and looked at his chakra system. Now...How to stop one of his chakra points.... She thought, trying to think of a way to do the aforementioned task. Yes, she was determined to stop at least one of his chakra points. It didn't matter which one as long as she stopped one. I also have to be careful of that sword.... I don't think chakra infused hands will really be able to stop a pure chakra sword.... Hikari took a step back before running forward. Once she got close enough, but far enough away that the sword couldn't touch her, she began spinning gracefully. She spun left one second then back another, making a total of four spins. It looked like she was just being retarded, but actually she was charging up for an attack. Her Shinjinbukai Mawaru. A move she created herself. After charging up, Hikari ran forward and tried to punch Gaignun, using the excess force/power that she gained from charging up.

Gaignun again clicked his tongue to the top of his gums when his sweeping kick landed. Gaignun pushed himself up, but saw as she dodged impacting with the ground. Gaignun saw as she avoiding having the chakra blade pointing at her. Gaignun pointed the sword again at Hikari then swung it forward and had it placed at his side. “Your doing well, but let’s see what else you can do! Let’s see if you can keep up!

Gaignun saw as she was beginning to approach yet again. Gaignun smiled as with his free hand he spawned a chakra shield. He was low on chakra now but he didn’t care he was just trying to win this spar. Gaignun looked as she was approaching, but she began to spin. He was strictly on defense as of now and was only waiting to react to her attack.

Gaignun saw as she finally sent a punch forward and he put the shield up to take the blow. Gaignun felt the shield shatter as he was sent backwards. He rolled backwards and quickly got to his feet and looked at her. “Nice move.”

Gaignun said as he felt the pain in his arm, but he tried his best to mask it. Gaignun then started to run toward Hikari. “Let’s see if you can handle this.” Gaignun mumbled as when charging toward her he slashed at her lower torso. But he wasn’t aiming for a physical blow. The most it would do is cut down to her lowest fabric of clothing. He wasn’t aiming for a vital blow, just making an example of his abilities.

Watch the Throne - Page 2 Empty Re: Watch the Throne

Hikari blinked in surprise as her move...er technique hit. It...it seriously worked? Wow. She thought, blinking a few times. Never thought that would happen.... Hikari got into a defensive stance as she watched Gaignun charge towards her. She tried to dodge the slash but wasn't quick enough. Hikari's lower torso had been slashed and her white kimono had been tore where she had been slashed. Blood started to slowly ooze out of the wound and stain her dress. Soon, the blood would drip down, staining the grass red and creating a puddle.

Hikari gently laid her left hand on the slash wound before she pulled out her ribbons, that were holding her hair up, and tied them together. She then wrapped the ribbons around her waist and around the slash wound. Even if it wasn't that big, she didn't want it to get infected or something. She could not go to the hospital. She hated those places. The smell of death tortured her, making it unbearable for her to stay in a hospital for any longer than two hours. Why did she hate the smell of death so much? Because of her father. When he had been severely injured during a mission, she was rushed to a hospital. Hikari had been by his side, even when he pasted away. So every time she enters a hospital, she remembers that time.

*Flashback*
Hikari, age twelve, sat in a chair next to a hospital bed with a man upon it. She was firmly holding his hand, not ever wanting to let go. "Father please. Just hold on." She whispered quietly as a few tears flowed down her cheeks, slowly dripping down onto her kimono. Her father looked at her, his eyes so lifeless and dead. She knew he knew it was his time....but she didn't want to believe it. I can't...I can't lose him too. Not yet. I'm just not ready yet... She thought quietly to herself. She didn't want to be alone, she hated even just the thought of it. She feared it really. And was scared of it. Living in the cruel world without anyone to help or protect her. She tried to reason with herself, saying that she was a ninja and that ninjas don't do that. But it was all futile. Because ever time she tried to talk herself out of sadness, she would take a small glance at her father and break into sobs. She hated this. This feeling like she couldn't do anything, like she was helpless. Which, in a way, she was. She couldn't do anything to save him. She wasn't trained enough to do so.

Hikari had stayed there, by her fathers side the whole night. It was early in the morning when she woke up the next day. Her father had had a smile on his face, as if he knew something good was about to come. And, to him, it did. Not even a hour after she woke up, Hikari witnessed her father take his last few breaths before she became lifeless. She had cried out to her father, yelling, "Father no! Please! Don't leave me! Not yet!" But her pleas were unanswered as he stayed gone. The rest of the day, and many more to follow, she had cried almost all the day long. It was one thing for your mother/father to be MIA but it was another to witness your father/mother take his/her last breath.
*End of Flashback*

Hikari took in a sharp breath and blinked quite a few times, making sure her eye didn't start to tear up and make her cry. She didn't want to show weakness, especially not in her opponents eyes. Even if he was a friend.

Hikari shook her head slightly and tried to focus. She closed her eye and took a deep breath. She then reopened her eye and looked over at Gaignun. I don't have that much chakra left...Hm.... Hikari thought, trying to think of a plan. She went over the few techniques she knew and tried to think of a strategy. She concentrated a little of her remaining chakra into her hands and ran forward. She was going to try and punch Gaignun. She had little faith it would hit but she didn't really have much of anything else to use. Her other move can wear a person out, especially with all those spins and everything. Hikari, once she was close enough, threw a punch at Gaignun's face. Yes, she actually went for the face. Whether her punch hit or not, Hikari would then jump back, landing on her feet of course, and get into a defensive position..

Watch the Throne - Page 2 Empty Re: Watch the Throne

Gaignun looked at his chakra blade, and saw some blood on it. Gaignun was shocked and backed up, as he looked back at her. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to. I was only aiming to scratch your clothing, I didn’t want to harm you.” Gaignun said, trying his best to apologize. Gaignun felt so guilty about his action, as he saw her put the ribbon on her wound, he sighed, and he was still trying to apologizing to her.

Gaignun saw her as she was approaching toward him, as he sighed, and got into a stance. No matter what, even if it was a friend, he would not let her get an upper hand. Gaignun planted his sword into the ground, and waited for her to approach. Gaignun smiled, as he knew Byakugan was draining her chakra plus any techniques she used.

Gaignun looked as she was sending a punch toward his way. A punch toward the head is the easiest to dodge, that’s the smallest part of your body, and is easily control versus the torso or legs. Gaignun smiled but noticed he had used a little bit of energy. Gaignun quickly weaved to the right dodging the attack, but noticed he was getting a little tired.

Gaignun had to end this quick. With Hikari close he decided to finish his with a strong combo. Gaignun attempted to send a kick forward toward her stomach, then another kick to her chin, sending her into the air if it connected. If it did connect he would then jump into the air with her and send a roundhouse kick airborne sending her away.

Watch the Throne - Page 2 Empty Re: Watch the Throne

"It's fine." Hikari spoke softly, giving Gaignun a reassuring smile. "Besides, it was only a flesh wound. Nothing too serious. I won't die from it." In truth, Hikari was way too familiar with flesh wounds and serious wounds. Not only from her ow experience but from seeing her father when he was dying in the hospital. But not just then, but when ever he came back from a mission. He would always have a flesh wound. Either from being slashed or cut or thrown. And he always healed with in a few days to a few weeks. So yes, Hikari was indeed not affected from seeing a wound. She was already so used to it.

Hikari was of so not surprised when her punch missed. She had already half expected it anyways. Hikari, being close, could only guess he would take the opportunity to attack. Which he did. Hikari took the kick to her stomach and coughed up a little blood. Well that's not good....But oh well.... She thought, shrugging. Hikari brought her arms up as Gaignun went in for another kick. This time it was to her chin. Hikari tried to stand her ground and stay where she was. Though it was hard, since she was light and everything. Hikari did however, somehow, stay where she was while Gaignun kicked her arms. To prevent them from breaking, Hikari had them crossed and tightened slightly. Though, when the kick landed, Hikari had to admit. It hurt like hell. At least my arms didn't break... Was on her mind the whole entire time. This reminded Hikari of an incident from when she was younger.

*Flashback*
Hikari, age ten, was walking home from the academy one day. It was quiet and quite dark out, the sun having set a few hours before. She had taken a detour to the forest and was just now walking home. She was on high alert, afraid of being ambushed. They always came at this time, or some time close to is. Them being her classmates. They hated her, and she knew it. They made it very clear.

Maybe they won't come tonight.... Hikari had tried to reassure herself. But it wasn't working. Her doubts would always get the better of her, and this time was no exception. Just be strong Hikari. You are from the Hyuuga clan. They are honorable and strong. So you have to be too.... She, even if she hated her clan, always tried to be like them. Especially when she was younger. She thought that if she acted like them, they could possibly over look her blonde hair. But that did not happen.

Three shadows flickered in the light of a street light. Hikari stiffened and got into a defensive position. They were here. And she was scared. But she tried to mask her feeling of fear as she called out, "Stop hiding you cowards! Just come on out and fight me!" Though, in truth, she really didn't want them to come out. She herself was the coward. Always having to hide away, in fear of getting attacked. She hated that feeling but didn't know how to get rid of it.

[After some time]
Hikari, dirtied and bruised, panted as she took care of the second person. Her chakra was almost fully depleted and she still had one more person to fight. The 'leader', or so he called himself. Hikari got ready to fight him, getting into a defensive stance. He ran at her, aiming to kick her chin and try and knock her unconscious. She brought her arms up to block his kick and heard a loud 'crunch' sound. She dropped to the ground and screamed in agony, using her right hand to support her left arm. Yes, it had indeed been broken by the kick. The boy smirked and ran off, knowing his job had been done.
*End of Flashback*

Hikari blinked and her right hand subconsciously went to her left arm. She had almost completely forgotten about the time when her arm had been broken. Probably because she always shuttered at the thought of hearing a 'cracking' or 'crunching' sound. Hikari looked over at Gaignun and walked forward, towards him. She stopped about a foot in front of him. "Wanna continue our spar or...?" She asked, wondering if he was also running out of chakra. Using all those pure chakra weapons and everything.
