A Dark Collision. (private)
Mon Jan 16, 2012 3:31 pm
Amane walked down the sparkling, frost-covered street in Kumogakure, breathing out clouds of white mist. She pulls her hood over her eyes and touches the Kunai's in her pocket. She always made sure her Kunai knives were with her, they did well when it came to long range attacks. Especially when using them in a defensive strategy. She had experience with surprise attacks. More than once she had been misjudged for a helpless girl with no skill. She liked watching her attackers suffer when she proved them wrong as they tried to take her down. She smiled at this as she turned down another street. Her feet made no sound on the frost, only the soft whistling of the wind as it rushed past her, biting at her cheeks. She loved walking alone on cold nights. She felt so... alive...

That night was a unique night for Kumori. For the first time in years, it had snowed heavily. Even though it wasn't very cold, you could still feel the bite. Luckily kumori's black outfit kept him warm in any weather. So he jumped out his window when it was late enough. But this was not a good idea. As soon as his feet connected with the snowy rooftop across from his window, he slipped. With a gasp he flipped backwards off the side of the second story rooftop. As a ninja, it wasn't hard to correct himself. and he landed silently on the ground of the dark alley. silently he chuckled to himself 'That was close.. I need a winter version of my clothes...' So with that mental note he creeper to the end of the alleyway and checked for civilians.
When he confirmed the coast was clear he stepped onto the street and smiled under his mask. It was so calm, so quiet, and the sky was clear, showing the stars in the sky. He had a weakness for such quiet nights. Than an idea stuck him. The woods were a great place to hang out during these nights. so he quietly made a U-turn and made his way there. Kumogakure was a rather large town so it took a little longer to get close to the edge of the town. As he went to turn a corner, he got a strange feeling in his gut. He never went against it. So he stopped, knelt down to the ground, and peeked around the corner slightly...
As he suspected, there was an unfamiliar looking girl walking down the road. While she looked rather innocent, there was something off about her. To be more specific, there was something Dangerous about her. Kumori couldn't help but grin. Backing away from the corner he put his hand on his sword hilt. Time to have a little fun. So running silently to the nearest alley, he climbed the side of a building. Quickly reaching the rooftop. After backtracking way out of view, he circled around and ended up on the rooftops behind her. Only barely looking over the edge so he could move out of view before being spotted.

Amane continued to walk. She didn't know where to go on such a beautiful night, so she just went where her feet took her. She walked silently to a corner and turned, breathing out a cloud of misty air. She made sure her eyes were hidden, as she always did, just in case. Amane stopped in her tracks. There were footprints on the ground in front of her. She knelt down slowly to examine them. One was a full footprint, no doubting that, but the other was sort of a half-print. Amane looked closely and saw a light fabric print. She assessed the situation quickly and with ease. Someone had been kneeling here. She glanced up and blinked. More footprints. Tracks leading to these ones, and tracks leading away from these ones. She looked back at the fabric print and touched it with the back of her hands to confirm her suspicions. Someone had been kneeling. The print was still warm. That someone was still here. If not, they couldn't have gone far.
Amane smiled. Another boring night, with another boring, judgmental pursuer. She laughed clearly, breaking the silence of the street. "Come out then. I know you are here. You want to play games? Lets play a game!" She held the cool metal of her Kunai's in her left hand, while making sure something else was hidden with her right.

Kumori watched her quietly from the rooftop as she continued to walk. And as she was about to turn the corner he swore to himself in his head. 'Shit she's going to find my footprints.. Fucking snow.' So he continued to watch her. As she stopped, he knew she was examining the footprints. However she wouldn't find where he vanished to. But she yelled out, breaking the quiet air. "Come out then. I know you are here. You want to play games? Lets play a game!" He wondered what king of games she played. He kinda hoped they were violent. And so just as he was about to move, he noticed something new.. in her hand was a kunai. A normal little kunai. He chuckled to himself and placed his hand on his blade. If she wanted to play with weapons, she shouldn't have brought a butter knife to a blade fight.
Very slowly he stepped forward. after a moment he silentl stepped off the ledge, landing completely silently in the powder about fifteen feet behind her. in his crouched position, he slowly tilted his head up and looked right at her. under his mask his red eyes flashed and his darker side was attempting to surface. It would not succeed until she attempted to attack him, at which time would mean her certain demise. So after a moment, he spoke. His mask causing a metallic tone to enter his deep coive. The sound of which was similar to a metal nail on a chalkboard. "My my.. What is a little Suna girl doing here in kumogakure..? Shouldn't you be off playing with sand or something?"

Amane smiled as he jumped down from his little hiding place. heh....look at him judging my Kunai...he's so naive! This will be interesting. She gasped. Only a small glimpse, but she immediately jumped to a conclusion that scared her. Those aren't....they can't be... She shook her head. They weren't. They definitely weren't. She would have sensed him sooner if he possessed the Sharingan.
She now had the upper hand. He couldn't see her eyes, so there was no way he could tell. She always wore the Uchiha emblem though, on a chain around her neck. He wouldn't be able to see that either, unless she took her coat off, which wasn't going to happen soon. Then he spoke to her.
"My my... What is a little girl doing here in kumogakure..? Should you be off playing with sand or something?" She smiled at this.
"Ah, but I am. You see, our game has already started!" She flicked a finger and her sand rose silently behind him, ready to strike. She held her Kunai so tight, her knuckles went as pale as the snow.

((Might be a little shorter than my other posts. I'm having writers block right now)
For a moment after he looked up, the girl stiffened. But she relaxed after a moment. He wondered what could have caused that effect so suddenly. "Ah, but I am. You see, our game has already started!" as she spoke, under his mask kumori grinned. She said something that gave it all away. in a flash, his blade was drawn. The dark aura nearly exploding to life as it covered the blade and part of his arm. This night might take a turn for the worse for the town of kumo. The snow might be stained in blood. Either his, or more likely hers.
"You made just one mistake little girl. Choose your words more carefully next time" Again that sound his mask did to his voice echo d around the area. He silently grinned under his mask and his eyes flashed. His hidden personaity is gaining power and control. Quickly he twisted to the side, one eye looking to where his back was facing, and he saw the sand was still rising. "Hmm so I was correct. So young. You have so much to learn"

Amane sighed as she moved her fingers and her sand swished from side to side. She smiled as he spoke, the pure whiteness of her teeth matching the snow that lay still beneath her. "You made just one mistake little girl. Choose your words more carefully next time!" Choosing her words carefully was far down on her priority list. Little girl? And what was this...Next time? There wasn't going to be a next time. She was going to burden Kumogakure by spilling the blood of this ignorant man. Another boring night, another boring fight. Thats what she always told herself. But this wasn't going to be boring, she could tell as much. Her opponent was skilled, and his sword interested her. The way it glowed...she would have to steer clear of that.
"Hmm so I was correct. So young. You have so much to learn"
Even though he seemed older than her, he chose to pick on innocent-looking girls? Very mature. Well, just like any other, she would prove him wrong, and make him see the hard way, if necessary. Although, by quick judgment, he was the type to want to learn the hard way.
"Come on then. Hit me with your best shot." She grinned. This was going to be the funnest game she had played for a long time. She had already assessed the situation, and letting her secret weapon out was barely needed. for the first strategy anyway. She closed her eyes and let her chakra flow.

The man in the black outfit watched her begin to access the situation. She was going to slip quite fast. He knew that she probably assumed that she could win this fight. What she didn't realize is that he was among the fastest genin leveled ninja in the world. Did she have any way of knowing this? No she didn't. As far as she knew, he was just some normal weak genin. But if his predictions were correct. His blade alone would freak her out a little. It always did for some reason. "Come on then. Hit me with your best shot."
This was all he needed. Instantly he jumped up and did a backflip, twisting in the air. He had landed on the side of the building, where he ran up to the roof. up on top, he waited. In the spot of his own choosing. Hopefully she will be unfortunate enough to join him up here. But something still bothered him. Why was a suna ninja in kumo? The two villages weren't alligned. So why was she here? Wouldn't konoha be a better option? It didn't matter though. Soon she would regret coming here and getting spotted by him.

Amane's stomach flipped as he made his first move. She knew it was going to be interesting, but as he backflipped and ran for the rooftops, she knew what he was doing. Trying to lure her up there. It wouldn't make a difference to her, she knew she would win. Her hidden weapons weren't even revealed, but when they were, he would regret it. So she kicked the ground and flew into the air. She did a few backflips herself and landed silently, crouched with her hand in front of her on the cold roof. she loved rooftop battles, having the stars and the dark sky as a background was thrilling. It mad the fight more intense. She snapped her head up and faced him, her eyes still hidden.
Kumogakure did look lovely at night, too bad she would have to ruin it with this mans death. Or maybe she should just knock him out and leave it at that? Though that would be hard. She hated the thought, but he was a worthy opponent. Maybe she wouldn't kill him. Maybe...he would be useful. But maybe is a word of many meanings. Though if she could at least corner him and do something about that sword...
She sighed and stood upright, flexing her fingers. This would be a very interesting game indeed.
