Uchiha [flash back private]

Oki was walking on the borders of Kirigakure, He had planned on training for a while. He looked at the ocean, standing on the shore as the waves pushed up onto the sand. He charged chakra into his feet and began to cross the ocean. The waves were calm, the wind was blowing softly and the sun shining bright with out any problems with the clouds. The clouds were no where to be seen in the sky. He continued across the ocean, he had seen a bird fly through the air slowly, he continued not caring much. Oki had recent left his home village, Konohagakure. He had become a missing nin, though he doubted he would become so well known that another village was looking for him, waiting to capture him.


He soon reached the land where Kirigakure was, not too far away from the village gates. He continued on foot, still being far from Kirigakure itself.

Hokuto has just finished a retrieval mission. Not the usual find my pet retrieval mission for Genins, but a real living human. Yep, A run-away. Though It didn't take him long to retrieve the person. Apparently the target of the mission had complications with her live-in partner. Not that it concerned Hokuto though. Escorting the target back to HQ, Hokuto recieved his pay and went outside Kiri for a breather.

Walking past the guards and the gates, He was busy eating a small bread he had with him on a mission when he saw a face. A familiar one. One that he did not know personally. But He saw somewhere just recently.


Ah yes, The wanted list. This person was on the wanted list, Grade C. he knew he would be danger, but he was the only ninja around. Besides the enemy is Grade C he can take him. Maybe.

Without another word, Hokuto dropped the bread he was holding and sprinted towards the man, throwing kunais at him.

Oki continued to walk towards Kirigakure. Outside it was nice, perfect speed in the wind created a nice small breeze. There were no clouds in the sky, letting the sun shine down upon the land as Oki continued towards Kirigakure. He continued walking, he was tired, he dragged his feet as he walked, kicking up some dirt and dust into the air.


Soon, as he got closer to Kirigakure, some Kunai headed for Oki, he prepared for battle, readying some hand seals and looking towards where the Kunai were thrown from. A Kunai had passed Oki's face, just barely missing his face. Once he had seen who was throwing it, he had seen a shinobi charging at him, he clapped his hands together charging chakra as the wind began to spin around the area rapidly.

(PS The Kunai attack earlier was merely aesthetic, like a video-game cutscene. It doesn't mean i really used a Kunai and will be able to use one in the battle. In case people get mislead.)


The Kunai almost hit it's mark, but sadly it didn't. Good thing Hokuto was already charging at the man as fast as he can. He was faster than some of his Genin batchmates. But it doesn't mean he was the fastest. Hokuto felt the gentle breeze embrace him as he ran towards the missing-nin. But now was not the time to enjoy this little luxuries. It was a matter of Glory or Defeat, Being of good service to his village or not. And finally Life and Death.


He saw the missing nin clasp his hands together, Obviously trying to use a jutsu. He had a slim chance of stopping it, But Hokuto had to gamble. He only prayed the guards may see them battle and provide reinforcements soon. Running with all his might and kicking up dust, Hokuto bolted in mid-air spun around and kicked the missing-nin's hands as they were clasped together. Hoping to disturb the chakra and seal input for at least awhile.

He saw as the Kirigakure shinobi continued the charge, even though he probably would have known Oki was performing jutsu, a bad mistake for the Kirigakure shinobi. As soon as his hands clapped together, a powerful wind blew up. The jutsu had been performed, "Gale Palm." He said as the Kirigakure shinobi tried to kick his hands, he would have easily been blown away by the power of Gale palm, a wind technique. Gale Palm was ninjutsu, a powerful C ranked that could easily be used to enhance projectile weapons, like Kunai and Shuriken.


The wind of Gale Palm would have knocked the man over to the left of Oki, he quickly performed some hand signs and took off his mask, which was a part of his clothing, he just slid it down to his neck allowing him to perform his next jutsu, he blew out, the wind spinning around in one direction.

His kick wasn't able to do anything sadly. But the fact is at least he tried. Hokuto got blown away much to his irritation. The jutsu used on him wasn't just a simple genin jutsu. Hokuto knew for a fact that it might even be Chunnin grade. As he got sent flying away. Hokuto tried to think of possible outcomes that could happen. Things He could do and couldn't do. Apparently he can't make another bloody mistake as the first one.

His life wasn't the only one at stake here but the safety of the village as well. He didn't have much jutsu as no one was mentoring him at the moment. But he remembered an academy grade jutsu he could use. A small smile escaped his lips. A hopeful one.

Before he landed on the ground, his body was replaced with a log. he had used the jutsu and appeared behind the man running. he ran behind him, For gut feeling. Hokuto knew he was atleast faster than this guy.

Before the guy can face him, he did a side kick on the back of his opponent and then swept him off his feet with a sweep kick to prevent him from casting that jutsu.

Oki blew, right after the person he aimed the jutsu at turned into a log. Oki was currently blowing a tornado out of his mouth, capable of blowing branches off of tree, and tearing small weak tree from the ground. He stopped blowing once the log had been blown away by the small, F0 tornado. He stopped to take a quick look around, only in front of him, he scanned the area only a second had passed and his eyes had moved left to right more then five times looking for his enemy.


While looking, only two seconds had passed, he figured that he was a bit more known then he had expected. He soon got kicked in his back, yet he remained on his feet, he tried to turn his head around to see his enemy, yet by the time he had began to turn his head around he was leg swept. He placed his hand on the ground, while he was falling, this had stopped him from falling as he stood on his hand. He quickly pushed against the ground and jumped away from his enemy.


Oki took a quick look at his enemy, and thought maybe this would be a good person to begin his testing on. By testing he meant curse marks of course. Maybe he would test in sealing also, he was getting ahead of himself though, he needed to capture his enemy first, before he could begin his tests. He watched his enemy, waiting for him to make another attack.

Bingo. His Attacks hit their mark dead on. He was right. He was faster than this guy. This guy might be Jutsu-heavy. But with his better speed. He may just be able to win this. A small smile escaped his lips. A momentary victory. He made the gap of his legs larger--stancing up for a better balanced fighting stance. This opponent was tough and this was the first time Hokuto, felt fear. Genuine fear. This ninja isn't just some country-boy wanna be. This missing-nin was the real thing. He was a criminal and he was strong.

Hokuto could feel his chest tighten, sure he still had enough energy since the battle has just started. But Hokuto knew, He couldn't keep this up for long. He can't charge recklessly, but he can't wait for the missing nin to attack him either. Who knows what other crazy-ass Jutsu he has on his sleeves.

Taking a deep breath, Hokuto sprinted and did genuine jutsu hand-seals. Of course He knew no other jutsu, Nor did he have the capacity to do the jutsu he just weaved a handsign for but the handseals were a bluff. Again he was risking this, When fighting one that is stronger one must use intellect.

What he did was a mix of intellect and Luck. Only the Gods can tell his fate now.

Okichi stood there as the man began to charge once more towards Oki. He raised up his hands together, letting his palms face each other as the man charged performing random hand seals. Oki moved his hands slowly together as the man was still a distance away. Oki watched as the man would perform random hand signs, it appeared he had no idea on what he was doing, atleast in Oki's eyes the man seemed to have no idea on what he was doing.
