Vash trains
Thu Apr 12, 2012 8:03 pm
(speed training)
Vash was heading out of the village. The landscape had very
few vegetation because of the high amount of tornadoes. He need to train up his
speed. he wonder around waiting for the right moment. He went and sat under a
nearby tree, watching the clouds above. A tornado form in the distance. Judging
by its size and how fast it moved across the landscape he guess it was a F-3,
maybe a F-4. Not what he needed.
As he watch the tornado in the distance wreak havoc the wind
started to pick up nearby where he was. Looking up into the sky he could see a
funnel cloud starting to come down. It wasn't as big as the other one, perfect.
He got up and started to jog in a large circle around were the funnel cloud
would touch down.
'here we go.' He
thought to himself, as the wind picked up to the point that he couldn't even
hear himself speak. The tornado
touchdown and a wall of earth was thrown into the air. Vash ran around toward
the front of the tornado till it was on a dead course to run into him. Then he
turned and started to run away from the twister as it bore down on him. The air
was being sucked in, and it created a suction effect that tried to pull Vash
in. He ran as fast as he could form the vortex that was trying to devour him.
The tree that he was seating under held strong, but its leafs and some branches
were ripped off.
The tornado was a weak one. barely a F-1 judging by the
speed he was going to keep ahead of it. The twister started to change
directions, and Vash with it. This was a pretty good way to train in his book.
If you didn't run faster than the tornado then you were dead. It also helped
him increase his reflex time by dodging all of the debris that flew past him.
He had been running for a few minutes now, and he was
starting to get tired. Luckily the tornado was starting to die down. He started
to slow down, trying to get his breath back. The funnel left the ground, but
still low enough to be a danger. Soon the dirt in the air began to be over
taking by gravity. The sound volume was going back down. Vash could hear his own
breathing again. His heart was thumping in his chest, and he was coming down from
his adrenaline high. soon the funnel cloud dissipated and all was quiet. Vash
started to look around to see where he was. Off in the distance he could make
out the rough outline of his village. Done with the training he wanted to get
done for the day he started to head back, maybe go to the hotspring for awhile.

Vash woke up when sunlight suddenly hit he's face. Turning
over in his bed to see what was the cause of his abrupt wake up. His sister was
standing by the window, her arms were outstretch with the curtain in both
hands. she turned to see if he was awake.
"Good morning Nii-chan. Sleep well?" she asked
with a smile on her face.
"Could have been better. What time is it?" He answered.
She gave off a even brighter smile then before. "It's Nine in the
morning." she beamed. He just looked at her with a WTF face. 'well I'm up now I guess.' After taking
a morning shower, and eat some breakfast. Vash headed out of the village to
train on something. He walked up to the same cluster of trees that he used the
other day. He looked for a tree with a low hanging branch that could support
his weight. After a few minutes he found the spot he needed.
"This will do nicely." He then jumped up and grab a
hold of the branch. He was a few inches off the ground. Then with as much
strength as he could muster and began to pull himself up. When his head came
over the branch and his chin came to rest on the branch. He let his arms go
slack, his head once again below the branch. Then he repeated the process
again. He did as much as he could before his arms gave out, and he fell to the
ground. He just laid there for a sometime, just trying to gather his strength
back.
Sitting back up, he walked away from the tree towards a
small stream that ran through the cluster. He began to wash off the sweat, and
used the water to cool down. After a couple of minutes of cooling down and went
back to the branch. This time he climb up to the branch then sat down on the
branch. Then bracing himself he leaned backwards. He tightened his grip on the
branch with his legs. Hanging there upside down he began to lift his upper body
till he was parallel with the ground. Then he would relax his abdomen he went
back to his starting position. He
continued that for as long as he could stand.
Soon his abs were screaming for him to stop, but he didn't
stop. After a couple more reps he was hanging there unable to continue. After
resting for a bit. Vash relaxed his legs, and with as much grace as he could
muster flipped in the air. he landed on his feet a bit shakily, but he didn't
fall down. He rested for a few more minutes. Thinking back on his training, he believed
it was a good session. With that thought he began to head back to the village. 'Think I'll stop at the hot springs.'

It was early afternoon and warm. Vash stood on top of a hill
overlooking the landscape. The wind was blowing around wildly. He wanted to train
up his speed before going forward with his plans. The weather had been very
clear during the morning, but the later it got the worst it became. Vash was
waiting for the first tornado of the day. The
condition was perfect for a twister to show up. There were a few areas
that showed signs of activity, but so far none of them could from.
Then all was quite. The wind stopped. The temperature drop.
Vash looked around real quick, something just wasn't right. Then the wind
picked back up, only this time it was blowing upwards. It was so strong that he
had to use chakra to stay on the ground. 'Oh
shit!'. Vash looked up but didn't see anything. Then his eyes widen in
horror. The funnel had to be at least two miles wide. easily an F-4, maybe even
an border line F-5. 'OH SHIT! Too big.'
He had to get out of there, and fast. Before that thing touched down.
This was no longer training. This was a life and death
situation. Pumping as much chakra as he could to just stay on the ground and to
make his legs move faster. He barely made it out from underneath before the
wind kicked up the dirt. He had to make sure he didn't end up running in front
of this beast. if the twister did end up going the same way that he was running
then there was little he could do, and
luck wasn't on his side today.
'I hate you mother
nature, you hear me? F-U-C-K-I-N-G hate you!' He screamed off in his head. The
winds inside the vortex was ripping up trees out of the ground. A few almost
landed on him when the tornado spit them back out. 'What did I do to deserve this? It's not like I'm a Ba... Ok maybe I
am, but I haven't done anything lately. Wait, shit I did stab that one guy for
running into me, but he deserved that. SHIT!' Vash had to duck under a tree
that was flying at him. He tried to run off diagonally to get out of the way.
There was no way he'd make it. He didn't know when it would dissipate either.
So all he could do was continue to run and hope it would end soon.
He didn't know how long he had been running. Minutes, hours.
He didn't know or care, he was just to tierd to care. To make it worst he was
starting to run out of chakra. There were a few times he lose control and almost
got sucked into the twister. Then as if the gods had took pity on him, yeah
right. The tornado began to turn away from him, but he still didn't stop
running just because the thing was so wide. Only when he no longer felt the wind
trying to pull him backwards did he stop. Looking back he could see that the
tornado made a trench, showing off to the world that it had come through here.
"Never again, never again." with that Vash fell
over and passed out.
