Training between team 12. Teammates clash!
Sun Apr 15, 2012 2:10 pm
“I hope he hurries.” The red haired ninja said softly to himself. “Hope he’s strong actually. I want a good match today.”
The boy was kneeled down in front of the large ocean. The waves nearly crashed into him as he tightened the 50 pound set of weights around his right ankle. This may have been a spar, but if he wanted results then he was going to have to treat the situation like training. His body still ached a bit from his previous S-Ranked mission to Orochimaru’s old hideout in the Valley of the End. Though he was sore and weighed down by his leg weights, he planned on going all out today. If he wanted to become the strongest in all of history, he would have to push himself to his very limits. Nothing short of perfection was what he wanted from himself.
Truth be told, he knew nothing about his new teammate, Itsuka Senju. The only thing he knew about his fellow Mist ninja was that they were now partnered together on team 12. The only reason Kankuro offered the training was to see just what kind of ninja he’d been teamed with. Hopefully he would be someone strong. Only time would tell.
“Urgh, hurry up, Senju!” he yelled out in frustration while standing to his feet again.

The sand of the beach crunched beneath Itsuka's feet as he walked, wincing as his bare feet touched pebbles scattered on the beach. Setting his sandals down and slipping into them he continued on, heading towards his training. His newest teammate, named Kankuro Chomaru, had invited him to a spar. Itsuka wasn't sure how well he would do though, and hoped that Kankuro wouldn't hate him for being to weak or if the slim chance came that Itsuka beat him, even though again Itsuka wasn't sure how strong he was. Figuring that he would probably be strong, Itsuka decided to try and do his best in the spar or training or whatever he did today.
As he walked further along Kirigakure's beach, he heard a distant yell of frustration, with the word "Senju" in it. Figuring that must be Kankuro, Itsuka rushed forward, not wanting to keep him waiting. He soon saw the red haired boy over a rise of sand, standing up. Itsuka got nervous and walked over, introducing himself. "H-hello Kankuro, my name is Itsuka Senju, I will try my best today!" Itsuka said, nervous about how Kankuro may treat him or if he would be stronger than him.

Furozan was quite honestly nervous about the training session about to be had. He was smaller and weaker than both of the other guys he was teamed up with. The only way he was going to stand a chance in the spar was by outsmarting the other two and staying out of the battle, or maybe teaming up with the weaker of the two. Either way, he did not see himself fairing to well in the spar, but he was never one to turn down a challenge.
Though he was inwardly nervous, he did not let it show. He approached the other two with poise and a determined look on his face. No matter what happened, he was going to show them that he was a worthy teammate to be had. He stopped a good distance apart from the other two before he said anything. "Shall we get to it then?" Furozan said as he watched both of them very intently, waiting for either of them to strike at any moment.
To get somewhat of a upper hand on the two, he had used the substitution technique as he was approaching the two. There was a small cliff nearby that provided enough over for him to hide behind. He was close enough to where, within a few strides, he could be back in the battle after they discovered he was not really there.

There were his two teammates? Both of them looked as if they were very strong, but looks could be very deceiving. There was no way he’d let his guard down so easily. Knowing that his speed would be hindered by his ankle weights, he wondered which of his teammates he should attack first. What kind of jutsu did they possess? If he was going to win this little get together and prove to be the strongest of the team, he’d have to fight smart. Looks like it was going to be Senju that he attacked first. Out of the two he seemed to be the most fragile.
“I’m inclined to agree with Furozan, let’s get this show on the road.” Finishing his sentence, the boy took off in a sprint towards Senju. Wither he was ready or not, Kankuro was coming for him. Knowing who his clan was, Kankuro could bet that Senju was a wood element user. If he was correct in his assumption, then perhaps he could get the early upper hand. Closing the gap between him and Senju, Kankuro launches himself towards his teammate once he was two yards away. Extending his right leg out, Kankuro’s momentum pushed him towards Senju in an attempt to kick the seemingly nervous boy. If the kick had connected, Kankuro would have been left open for a very brief moment while he landed from his flying kick.

Itsuka looked between the two boys, Kankuro, who had already been there, and Furozan, who had just arrived and asked for it to start. There was a poof as Furozan substituted away and Kankuro whom of which was quite the distance from Itsuka, began to sprint at him. Itsuka tried to take on a frightened and nervous appearance as he closed in on him, but changed once Kankuro got around three meters close to Itsuka. His face became calm, more serious, and took on the look of a killer. If they wouldn't hold back, neither would he. A second or two later Kankuro launched towards Itsuka, who was now calm and relaxed, yet also looking quite insane. Itsuka rapidly thrust his left hand to the ground and used it as leverage as he grond his hand into the sand and turned, cartwheeling to the left and out of the way of Kankuro who had launched in a flying kick at his previous position. As Itsuka was in a handstand from the cartwheel, he thrust his right hand out and aimed quickly at Kankuro's right hamstring, a needle of wood forming at the tip of his fingers. The needle would quickly release and shoot into Kankuro's hamstring, likely severing it and causing quite the amount of pain. It would also lower his ability to run or any physical attacks' effectiveness dramatically. When that one would shoot, he then aimed again, this time at Kankuro's biceps. With the position they were both in, Kankuro's arms were lined up quite well, and Itsuka popped off two more shots from the tip of his index finger, at each of his biceps. These were not likely to be too accurate as Kankuro was still flying in air, but if not the biceps directly they would then miss and hit either another part of his arms' muscles or his ribs. Itsuka then landed and kicked himself up, slipping the wood back into his finger and readying his arm muscles if Kankuro came again to possibly counter or activate another jutsu. This fight was between him and Kankuro, as Furozan was off somewhere else. Not like it mattered though, Itsuka was really getting into this. It was like a game, and Itsuka was a pro at games and killing despite his usual nervous appearance and personality.
